What game did you buy last?

Assassins Creed III. I got it cheap from EB. I haven't gotten very far in it though as I'm finding it pretty difficult to get into it. At this stage I'm not very interested in it, but I'll give it a proper chance.

Metal Gear Solid 4.

I've been playing through all the Metal Gear games and this is the only one that I didn't own :hmmm:

While I was on vacation I picked up Project X Zone because it was on sale for a very low price. I think I only paid 25 dollars for it. I also picked up Tales of Xillia two days ago as an early birthday present.

Project X zone is actually a pretty fun game. I am not into strategy games but this one has got me hooked quite a bit. Battles drag on foreverrrrrr though. I was especially pissed off at the fact you do not get to control KOS-MOS till like chapter 17. I had to play at least 20 hours or so to get there. The game is pretty awesome.... but the story is SO CONFUSING. What in the world is even going on?

I had the CE of Tales of Xillia reserved back in July. There was only one CE left when I pre ordered! I did not get to pick it up till the 11th since I was on vacation.

Both games are what I am playing atm really. Xillia is rather enjoyable. I was getting a bit worried about people saying Xillia is shorter than all the other tales games. A normal run should be anywhere from 40-50 hours with a bit of side content. I heard the average completion time is only 30 hours.... so that worried me quite a bit.

PS+ titles aside, the last game that I bought was Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. A poor choice to be fair, I only got it 'cause it included River Song, but it's a crappy, but nonetheless pretty-looking side scroller with the lamest AI I have ever had the misfortune of witnessing.

The last game I bought was none other than Skyrim (Xbox 360). We got it at the local mall for like, $20. I don't think that's a bad deal at all (then again, I'm not sure how much it usually goes for). I've wanted to get this game for the longest time, so I'm glad to be able to finally play it. :D

My preordered Day One Edition of Tales of Xillia arrived the other day. It could be a fair old while before I give it a play though, got so much to play these days.

got the last copy in my local game.... thanks game employee for finding in the back :D

Blood Bowl : Chaos Edition on steam. It's a turn based American Football strategy game based in the Warhammer universe. Pretty steep learning curve and alot of luck involved, but I can see it getting addictive. Only £5 at the moment, probably $5 too (we always get ripped off ;( )

I actually ordered a game today off of Amazon. I ordered the game Catherine for the PS3. I've heard that it's surprisingly a good game, so I figured why not buy it and give it a shot.

LEGO Lord of the Rings, on PS3. £10 off Amazon, and I just felt like it. The only LEGO game I've really played is the Star Wars one on Wii (although I have the first Harry Potter one on my PS3, and mother has pretty much every one on her DS) and I want something to get me in the mood for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, which I've preordered. Plus...£10. Cheap game is cheap. Might pick up the others if I enjoy it.

Left 4 Dead 2 and The Witcher 2 for my iMac! I bought Left 4 Dead 2 so that I could play with Peter online and I've wanted to try The Witcher 2 for a while - I read the book before I even heard of the game!! It was on sale for £3! :yay:

I now need to decide what to spend £15 Steam credit on! :gasp: If anyone has any ideas, let me know... :lew:

Parasite Eve.

It was the very first time that something I wanted online, besides school books, actually came to me in PERFECT condition! And I got it from Ebay, to boot! I was SOOOO relieved and glad that I trusted this seller. They indeed really did mean it when they said they only used the game 5 times and that everything was in tact, including the full booklet. And only for $20's, no shipping included! :O I will treasure it to the end. ^_^

I gave in to temptation and ended up importing Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God off eBay. It was that or YS Celceta, and that has a concrete release date for next year over here, whereas this just has "early 2014" and I don't honestly feel like waiting for it anyway. As a general rule (Mugen Souls and Agarest were both dire) I like Compile Heart games, and I absolutely LOVE dungeon crawlers. The Guided Fate Paradox has put me in the mood for more.

Now I just need to hope it gets here before Christmas...a delivery window of the 18th of December to the 2nd of January is fucking ridiculous...

I just pre-ordered Final Fantasy X | X-2 Hd Remaster Limited Edition online.

It's my favourite game of all time so I just had to get the Remaster.
I haven't been able to play it in over a year because all my games are packed away at the moment while we're still living with the parents and the only console we have out is the PS3.
Can't wait for March to come around so I can play it!

The three Shadow Hearts games were my last purchase. I haven't played much yet (about 5 hours of the first game), but here are my thoughts so far:

Incredible opening cinematics and stuff. A villain that looks like the Penguin, which is a definite plus for me. Loads of ghosts and exorcisms etc. Interesting enough characters (I'm half and half on this point).

The main thing though is how the battle system is the traditional turn-based stuff we're all used to, but with a ring that reminds me of Lost Odyssey. The difference is that the ring is used during both physical attacks and magic (items too actually). The monster designs for bosses are similar to those of Persona too, as in they're really creative and all that.

All in all, I'm loving it. I've heard that SH2 improves on this game in pretty much every way too? Soulcorruptor

Can't wait to play more :)

Yeah in SH2 you get some more unique characters. You can upgrade your fusions actual level to get them new abilities, and you get to manipulate the judgement ring a lot. Whether it's adding more hit areas to the ring or expanding the hit and strike areas. You can also add effects to the ring such as make it spin slower or add poison or seal effects to it. And I told you my gripes on the third one so not gonna go on that xD.

The last game I bought on Steam was FFVII. Never played that game before and for $4 I'm sure it will be well worth it.

For PS3 the last game I bought was FFX HD and Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix off of Amazon.com. I think they will be arriving tomorrow. I've played Kingdom Hearts 1 almost all the way to completion on my PS2 a long time ago but will be nice to have an HD version now. As for FFX HD never played it so excited to start that

On the xbox 360 the last game I bought was Lightning Returns back in Feb ... it will probably be the last game I ever buy for my 360. It was nice to not only end a trilogy but also my game collection on the past xbox generation.

There was a sale in the Playstation Store. Bought Persona 3 FES, the Devil May Cry HD Collection, and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles. All at a VERY reasonable price. I've played all of these games on other platforms except Persona 3, which I am no addicted to.

Just got back from the store and picked up Tales of Xillia 2.

I am about to pop it in right now and I am so excited to play it. I enjoyed the first one quite a lot and I hope this one is so much better!

I always love sequels to good games because they leave you anticipating what events will change the events that happened in the first game.
