PC World of Warcraft

Not really a lore nerd.

but I think with Garrosh as Warchief things are going to be a lot more "evil". He's kind of a tit (dont even get me started on his whole emo thing in nagrand), I wish Saurfang was Warchief instead.
Ahh.

Well, we'll see.

I'll still like the Horde more. xD

I think the Orcs and Trolls though ugly look kind of cool... Especially the females. For some reason. oO I like the Taurens most though. xD (obviously stated in my previous posts)

I really don't like ANY of the races in the Alliance...

Hrmm...

Does that make me Racist? =o

I can safely say that I only want to be a Night Elf because I like the way they look. It'll probably get me killed in PvP left and right in the long run, but I'll find a way to make it work. :wacky:

Picking a race because you think they look awesome is a much better way to go than picking a race because of some novel little racial ability. Yes some racial abilities are better for some classes than others, but it's nothing more than a convenience really.

You're never in your regular form if you're a druid anyway. Lol. Well, now that they took out tree form, if you're a druid healer you would be. But otherwise it's bear/cat/boomkin form.

I did think about making a Tauren druid when they released the new cat and bear forms, but decided against it as soon as Cataclysm was announced. I prefer caster classes, and being a big garish blue owl/bear with tusks and a mohawk (which I imagine is what the troll moonkin form will be!) sure beats being a boring brown one with horns ;)

well actually, considering how faceroll arcane is right now... Shadowmeld is probably not a horrible racial for mages.

I've just never really been able to get into caster-type night elves. They've just always seemed more physical to me.

but yes, everyone is rolling their tauren paladins, troll druids, blood elf warriors, dwarf and troll warlocks, and dwarf shamans everywhere.

these tauren paladin names are giving me headaches though.

these tauren paladin names are giving me headaches though.

It should be a feat of strength to be the person to actually get the name "Retbull" and "Holycow" on a realm :wacky: I haven't made a Tauren paladin yet, but I think I will eventually. I'm not a huge fan of Tauren, but I like blood elves even less and I do love playing a paladin...

you just wish you had an ass that was shaped as if the gods sculpted it themselves... Like I do. :monster:

I'm loving Thousand Needles at the moment. Having a boat is pretty ballin', not to mention smashing gnomes over the head with alcoholic beverages. :awesome:

Some randomly awesome music videos for all the WoW players. :ryan:

I love the first two videos to death. Also, I'm fucking enjoying my Night Elf Mage... Even though it is faceroll. Holy shit, it's just so fucking easy. :ffs:

this is how tanking randoms makes me feel, except in the great tank phase its more like yay they're all together and can be facerolled to death :monster:

I've been busy finishing up school and getting ready for going back to Denmark for the holidays, so I haven't played as much as I would have liked. I have managed to get a troll Druid to level 28 though, and so far I'm loving it. I've leveled through Northern Barrens, Ashenvale, and Stonetalon Mountains and I'm really enjoying the strong narrative. If I was to make on complaint though, sending you to every new quest hub makes the experience a bit too guided for my liking, but all of the GOOD things about Cataclysm more than makes up for that.

The low level experience was definitely revamped well. Some people are complaining that it's too fast, but I think it's fine. When I want to get loremaster, I'll come back to it.

I think a troll or tauren druid will be my next roll since I already have a rogue, two Paladins, a warrior, Death Knight, Hunter, and Mage.

Yeah I don't really mind the speed either. To keep new players hooked, it's important that there's a constant feeling of progression, so the fast leveling early on is a good idea. I do think it's good that they nerfed the experience you get from running instances though. Gaining 2 or 3 levels running Deadmines was perhaps a bit on the rich side

I didn't realize that they'd administered nerfs to the xp gained lol

But i just picked up my copy of cataclysm and im installing it now. i really hope colossus smash kicks as much ass as people think it will :wacky:

I can't wait until it installs! 10% :gonk:

edit: ok so complaining magically makes it 100%. this is a very good tip to keep in mind 8D

Recently decided to quit after three years of playing. Idiotic class changes and the lack of a serious storyline put me off it. My major interest was always the lore and roleplaying, but Cataclysm just turned a generally immersive setting into a cesspit of pop culture references. Copying the plot of an Indiana Jones movie to be the lore of a new end game zone? Idiotic.

why does everybody like world of warcraft..... :L

i thhink it kool and all that but i just don't see the point in paying for it... rather free mmorpgs :) also... two mates of mine play it.. and one got addicted :) :(

i tried the 10 day free trial because my friend would always talk about it and i wanted to see what it was all about.
needless to say, my trial has expired and i have plans on buying the battlechest within the next week or so. if all that goes good and it's still holding my attention after a few weeks, i'll slowly start adding the expansions to my list of things to buy. :'D

my only issue at the moment is that FF14 is coming out for the ps3 next month, so i'm probably going to need a job or something to pay for both subs. ugh.

either way, it is by far one of the most fun MMORPGs i've ever played.
the fact that its actually held my attention for more then a day is pretty amazing too.

I've played world of warcraft for years now and I still find it entertaining. I mainly play for the PvP, not much of a fan of raiding. I guess the game isn't for everyone , luckily enough for blizzard it is for millions. Haven't got round to playing cataclysm yet but I do intend to in the coming months, I just hope it's still decent.

Any WoWers?

I used to play WoW, I didn't get really into it.
I mainly played the RP side of WoW.
Just getting back into it today.
:sup:

^-- That's a girl for you. So she's DEFINITELY not your father.

Anyway, I'm a new player in WoW, though I play in a PvP server, so I can choose either Horde or Alliance, I only have Alliance characters so far, I thought the game is really cool, all that world that you had to explore, all those quest that just NEVER end ffs.

Anyway, here's my character information, if anyone is around:
Server: Spirestone
Character: Azaerd/Majestice

i remember when you couldnt roll an alliance character if you were horde on pvp servers lol

But a few weeks ago Blizzard announced that they would be implementing a tool that would let players form their groups with players using the battle.net account technology

I am not sure if I am going to pay for it yet, I'm waiting to see how much it costs... But some of us will probably be able to play the game together soon regardless of what realm we are on as long as we are of the same faction :monster:

edit: also you can use your battle.net account's email address to talk to people cross-realm
