im almost 17. This upcomming july will be my b-day.
I think the poll is fine. he just wanted to know what age group your in sheesh lol.
 
I am proud to say i am 15. I hope to god that i will not be on forums like this at the age of 40. that would be truly pathetic
 
I guess I'm the second oldest now. ^_^ I'm 25 and will be 26 in about 3 months.

Lol... I think you're still allowed to have a hobby or interest even at 40. I know I'll still love FF at 40 or better, not to mention a good discussion forum on the subject. ;)

Anyway, 20 here. Rydia is two days older than me. -.-

Hold your horses there gramps. You were a "kid" not so long ago. And until you're twenty you still count as a "teen", which IMO is worse. There's nothing "lame" about being young, sir it's just your take on it.

For some strange reason, I always imagined you being younger... I guess it's 'cuz you're a kid at heart ;). Although, I should've guessed your age by your evolved writings...

Just playing devils advocate here, but I believe what the gentleman means is that when you're 40, you probably shouldn't be on a forum where most of the members fall within the "10-19" age group. For a variety of reasons, just some of which I'm going to mention:
  1. It's a surefire way to get in trouble with the law
  2. Most of the members won't see things your way, or share your point of view, save for a few key topics.
  3. You'll be the older, "creepy" guy that hangs around the kids.
And so on and so forth. Think about it this way, as a forty year old would you hang out often with 10 to 19 years olds in real life? If you answered "yes" and you're not aiming to be a teacher, then you need help...

I don't think age matters much as far as admittance into bars, at least in N.Y. I'm not old enough to drink or enter pubs "legally" but I still do. However, I empathize with your sentiments.
