Your Favorite Final Fantasy Character?

Hi,
I lean towards Squall, Rinoa and Auron. The first 2 because together they made FF VIII the best in the series for me. The latter because he gives me the impression that you can always rely on him.
 
Cloud without a doubt anyone who really love 7 read the story ff7 the married life of angels
 
Very hard question but Terra, Celes, Kefka, Aeris, Cloud and Tifa are all my favorites even though there are many others I love. If I did have to choose one it would have to be Kefka just because he is by far my favorite FF villain.
 
Hmmm, my list changes frequently but for today I'll go:
1. Kain Highwind (I love Dragoons)

It's hard to point only one, so I'm gona vote on the characters separing them by 2 categories:

Heroes (not only the main characters):

1 - Squall (FFVIII)
2 - Cloud (FFVII)
3 - Zell (FFVIII)
4 - Balthier (FFXII)

Villains:

1 - Kefka Palazzo (FFVI)
2 - Sephirot (FFVII)
 
My favourite is Zack Fair (Crisis Core) because he develops from a typical teenager into a great guy with a strong sense of responsibility. He's incredibly puppy-like at the beginning, that face <3, and his interactions with Angeal and Sephiroth show him off as a guy who is striving to be a hero. I also love how he's a total ladies man until he meets Aerith. =P

Genesis comes in as a close second *only* because of the CGI scene where he, Sephiroth, and Angeal fight. You know the one. =)
 
This is nearly impossible since I love so many characters in the series. Zidane just may be my favorite at least right now because of his fun loving and positive attitude. Even when faced with the cold truth that he was a created genome made for world destruction along with his "brother" Kuja he overcame it witht he help of his friends. The ending is the icing on the cake when he risks his own life to go back for the same Kuja who tried to destroy the world.

So many great characters in the series I could list at 20 that I adore but as of now Zidane is my favorite.
 
Zell he is just so emotional its hilarious, during the era of no speech just text I could always imagine Zell's voice, grunts, and laugh. He was such a all around good guy, makes me play FF8 over and over.
 
Ramza Beoulve. I love tragedy in a charcter and Ramza has that. He had to face against his best friend from childhood, he had to watch as his class stomped on the lower, he tried to resolve issues without combat but was forced to slay his foes. The man had to kill his brothers for the greater good, both of them unknowingly doing the antagonists bidding. His motivation was purely for doing what is right, stop the bloodshed, and bring peace throughout the people. Overall I'd say he's in the top 3 video game characters ever for me. Final Fantasy Tactics has downright amazing character in my book, Square needs to go back to stories of this quality.
 
Argh, too many. Too many. Let's try a top five.

Zack Fair: He's the kind of character I quite like - sunny, friendly, generally happy, but also hyper-competent - but I also can't help but like someone who keeps pushing through with a smile, even a fake smile, even when everything goes awfully, horribly wrong. Zack has a remarkable strength of character that I like a lot.

Judge Gabranth: Gabranth has a certain amount of majesty and gravitas that, combined with his generally being a conflicted, self-loathing mess of a human being, is impossible not to at least kind of enjoy.

Yuna: For much the same reasons as Zack, actually. Terrible things happen to Yuna - she willingly sets off to her death, for god's sake - but the only times when she wavers is when she thinks that maybe what she's doing doesn't serve the greater good. Yuna's soft and quiet and gentle, but she has a core of absolute iron, and I respect that a lot.

Laguna: There's a pattern here, I'm not going to lie. Like Yuna and Zack, Laguna's someone who seems very unassuming, but has enormous strength of will and character.

Kefka: He's just so charmingly evil and insane, man.
