Your Favorite or best party

Rinoa, Squall, Quistis- i don't know why but for some reason Quistis was my strongest char in the game, and yea degenerator added to that list too, she was than my ultimate char.
 
I always used to have the boys as my main party. Don't really know why, I liked using Zell's limit, and Irvine with pulse ammo was good.

On my current playthrough I think I will end up with Squall, Quistis and Rinoa as my final 3, but we'll see how that plays out ^_^
 
My party usually consists of Zell, Irvine and Squall. Zell is always in my party because of his limit-break. If you master the art of inputting the button sequences fast enough you can make his limit-break drag on forever. As for the others? I very rarely use Selphine or Quists, although I do sometimes switch Irvine for Rinoa.

I normally use Squall, Selphie, and Rinoa, although I do occasionally switch out Selphie for Quistis. I end up using those three mainly because I like them the most, but their strength comes into play as well. Zell and Irvine's attacks seemed weak in comparison to everyone else's, so I generally just leave them on the sidelines.
 
Squall, Rinoa, Zell.
Squall was physically the strongest and I loved the gunblade! Rinoa had a cool limit break, and I liked her character a lot. Zell's limit break was also really good and powerful. Didn't like Irvine much, I don't like characters who have guns! Quistis was OK, prob 4th favourite. Selphie sucked and I never used her.
 
The first time I played the game my favorite party was:

Squall-Rinoa-Zell

but then I grew to love Irvine's limit break more so than Zell's so I switched the two in and out depending on my mood.
 
Squall - Rinoa - Zell all the way! Squall was by far my strongest, followed by Zell, although sometimes I switched Quistis in for Rinoa. I think I only ever used Irvine and Selphie when I was forced to lol.
 
My favourite team has always been Squall, Zell and Rinoa. Squall because.. well... i think that one's pretty obvious, Zell because he is just awesome and Rinoa because you need a woman in there to give orders, plus Squall and Rinoa have to be together!

FFVIII basically came down to who had the best limit break for who you put in your party, for me anyway, and so I went with these three. Zell also had a great limit break but was far more of an effort to actually use, and I was never exactly keen on Zell as a character.

i cant put squall out & i dont want to
i want to have rinoa with squall... though she's not very useful
irvine look nice. the limit works well too.

btw, selphie makes a good replacement of irvine too.
 
Squall Rinoa and Zell were my favorites.

These choices weren't based off of limit breaks (Although I believe you NEED Lionheart for the last battle.) They were based off of personal preference. Squall and Rinoa were the lovers, so they needed to be side by side. Zell had a better attitude than Quistis (Who would have been jealous of Rinoa for getting Squall) Selphie (Who needed to be with Irvine) and Irvine (Who needed to be with Selphie).

I have to Agree with Paine on this one. Squall is just beasty :P Irvine is awesome if you have any kind of ammo with him and Rinoa has an awesome base attack with that little Pinwheel deal.

Selphie dies too fast for me, Quistis is okay, Zell isnt bad but he is cocky :P

But I think my FAV party is Laguna, Kiros, and Ward without a doubt :)
 
I think my best party was Squall, Irvine, Rinoa. But until i got Irvine i was using Squall, Zell, Rinoa, they did pretty well aside form the fact that i couldn't EVER get Zell's critical hit.
 
my best party is rinoa, zell, and squall.
rinoa had some good limit like the one that makes every one invincible. squall had his power hitting limit, and zell was just that best of the remainding character. seifer would easily been one of it if he was actually a playable character longer than what you could actually use him for
 
Whats you favorite or best party?

I would probably say Squall, Irvine, and Zell. Squall was overpowered with his lionheart, and so was zell with his 200k+ limit chains on omega. Irvine was fun when junctioned his atk~255 and used quick shot. Overall this was my strongest party and best.
 
Squall, Zell and Quistis

Although I had trained Rinoa up more than both Zell and Quistis, I just preferred them

I accidentally trained Rinoa and Quistis up loads in Galbadia, but Quistis was still lower

I definitely agree with AdventChildcs on this one.

Squall of course needs to be in the party cause there's no alternative. Rinoa and he need to be together all the time. Cause it looks cute. And it makes me happy. =D I also love the Angelo limit breaks. Plus, in all of RPG experience, I've always kept my three person party as two male, one female (the female goes on the left hand side of the male. Don't ask me why, it's just aesthetically pleasing to me). Rinoa was my favorite girl in the game. For some reason, I strongly disliked Quistis (I think because she kind of had a thing for Squall, and I liked Rinoa for him better). Selphie is also pretty badass, but her limit break is just too annoying and stressful (pressing "Do Over" over... and over... and over again, until "The End" comes up, and a lot of times, you end up passing it in your mad dash to find it! =0 The agony!)

Zell was also my favorite male character besides Squall. He was pretty attractive for a pixely video game character, not gonna lie. I never liked Irvine's ponytail (I know, so trivial) and I preferred "Duel" over Irvine's shooting limit break, so.... that's how it turned out.
