Maybe someone posted this before but, just wondering what was your first anime?

Mine was Samurai Pizza Cats^_^..I loved that show to death, but at the time I was about 6 or 7, and didn't even know what was anime.
 
I remember watching Pokemon back when it wasn't even popular. That was probably my first.
 
Wow did i think this thread was about something else -.- anyways my first anime was pokemon as well and then went to Yugioh and now death note :D

I remembered an anime called...Muskethounds..an Musketeers themed show, only with dogs. It was really old, but really good. But to this generation it would seem corny :|
 
Hahaha, misleading thread title xD My first anime was Sailor Moon and Pokémon. I used to really love Sailor Venus and Tuxedo Mask. Sailor Moon kinda got on my nerves sometimes and she was like a big freakin' crybaby, but yeah...also, who doesn't love Pikachu? xD
 
I believe it was Sailor Moon. Then there was DBZ. But those were aired in T.V. - dubbed, so to me it doesn't really count. =) So I would say that Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is my very first real anime, Japanese voices and all. That's how I really got into animes.
 
Dragonball was my very first anime, shortly followed by Pokemon. Though I remember Sailor Moon being in there somewhere, so that could have possibly been my first anime.
 
I think it was the movie Memories (org. title: Memorizu (Morimoto, Okimura & Ôtomo, 1995) which I saw at a short film festival early in 1998.
 
Either Sailor Moon, DBZ or Pokemon...I'm not too big on Anime. But i can remember those 3 quite clearly, and i used to love them when i was a kid xD
 
When you were a kid? C'mon now, Mark xD You're still a kid *pokes* Sorry...ahem, off topic there. I forgot to add that DBZ was another first for me, but it's been a VERY long time since I've watched it
 
Yeah....I didn't think the title was referring to anime....

Anyway, my first anime was Pokemon. Hahaha. So sad. And then it was Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z. Oh damn, I remember back in the day, I used to think Dragonball Z was a -good- anime. Ha! How misguided I was.
 
Hahaha, yeah I thought the same thing, Eryth. You know, I've noticed that a majority of the posters in this thread's first anime has ranged from Sailor Moon, to Pokemon to DBZ xDDD
 
DBZ, I think. Either that or it was this one anime titled Grander Musashi: Master Fisherman. One of the great anime that really didn't live longer than a couple of seasons. -_-
 
No doubt, mine was DBZ. I remember being woken up by my older brother early in the mornin' to watch DBZ before my dad too over the TV. He hates that show, well the whole idea of Goku killing his brother.
This was back when it was aired on local channels.

Akira came l8r. then some Vampire hunter movie, then princess Monanoke; love that movie.

I saw it then too.

My first time was with this girl named- Huh? What? That's not what we're talking about? Oh, okay then... The first animes that I remember seeing were Poke'mon and DBZ.
