Who was your favorite gal of FFX-2? Yuna, Rikku, or Paine? For me, I'm definitely torn, but I have to go with Rikku; Yuna second and then Paine!

for me Rikku was the most interesting and entertaining don't get me wrong she was more annoying in this game then in FF10 and she even had bit of a persona shift like Yuna but Rikku was interesting

Pain was alright but i don't think she fit into the game well

and... Yuna most people know what i think of Yuna in this game why Yuna WHY! did you have to turn into such a bich

Yuna did become a bit more care-free, which you can imagine after having to go through the emotional rollercoaster that was X. And spending time with Rikku obviously had an effect.

But I quite liked Paine, maybe I liked the design the most, or perhaps her cold attitude mirrored my own so i connected with that. ^_^

Yuna next, and Rikku I always seemed to find a bit annoying! But still she was ok.

I really didnt like Yuna in X-2, she was too much like Rikku in X and Rikku became more annoying aswel D:

So, Paine wins by default, she was actually quiet, and that's my only reason xD

I always thought that Rikku brightened things up in the game. She could get annoying at times but overall she was pretty cool :D
Yuna has changed quite a bit since X but, i think for the better. You could tell that Yuna will always be Yuna. She'd have to be my second runner up :)
Paine she was a kick ass character I have to admit. I guess since I haven't known her as well I just don't like her as much. I thought it'd be better if she'd talk more throughout the game.

Yuna wasn't really a bitch...o_o I don't see where you get that from. Please explain.

To me Yuna no longer has a duty as a summoner, and she's free to live her own life. I like the fact that Rikku got her out sphere hunting for sure, not to mention
Yuna's unwavering resolve to find out if the man in the sphere was really Tidus or not
; it shows her love for him never left nor her determination to believe he was really still out there somewhere. I love the fact that Yuna had grown into her boots finally, and she was able to do what she wanted to do until of course
Shuyin and Vegnagun threatened Spira once more,
did Yuna set everything aside to protect and save Spira a 2nd time. She was very carefree, but still had that sweet disposition about her.

Playing through X-2 again here just recently made me realize that Yuna is still the same Yuna, she's just free to live her own life now, and I think being the High Summoner who brought the Eternal Calm, not to mention
saved Spira from being blown to massive bits by Vegnagun
, she shouldn't be judged just because she's grown out of her shell and had an outfit change as well.

I didn't really like any of them to be honest =/
But my favorite (or the one I hated the least) was Yuna, I liked her in X and even though she was kinda annoying in X-2 I still think she was the best. I liked Rikku in FFX but she was just too annoying in X-2 and Paine seemed too cynical for my liking.

OK i'm just emulating with script writing now but the reason i think Yuna is a "bitch" in this game is mainly because of plot holes lol yes i under stand she did some traveling and got to see the world with out the added stress of being a summoner and learning from Rikku but it does not mean Yuna had to lose her kind heart persona feeling as a general likable girl in this game she does not care about anyone but herself and she is very jealous she reminds me of my ex girlfriend lol but that just what i think anyway

o___o If that's not a blatant lie then I don't know what is. I'm sorry, but I'm going to disagree with you. If Yuna didn't care about anybody but herself, she sure as hell wouldn't have put sphere hunting and searching for Tidus on hold and ran off to save Spira yet a SECOND time....Yuna deserves to do something for herself. All her life and all throughout FFX she trained as a summoner, fought and knew only she'd be giving up her life. She even said she would've gladly died for the people of Spira to bring them the calm. Even 2 years after the Calm, she still ran around and did what people wanted, except for join the Youth League or New Yevon, because that was Yuna. For once in her life she finally got the chance to go out and do what she wanted instead of what everybody else wanted. I wouldn't call that selfish. I'd call that Yuna taking some much needed "me-time" is what I'd call that.

OK then i'll go a win win with you then mainly because your already out doing me in this conversation and i can't keep up and if i try to explain myself i could see myself going completely off topic lol

i guess i'm a Yuna fan boy and have a hard time letting go of FF 10 Yuna lol

Rikku maybe.

Because she's more happy and outgoing and bright. And well, I like her scarf...

Yuna would be second place. Like how more confident she has become and how more carefree she has become since defeating Sin.

Paine is alright, don't hate her at all. And feel quite sorry for her past and what happened to her during that time when Yevon was still controlling the world.

Rikku can can be annoying sometimes though, but--- she has a good scarf...
Just wish that she didn't wear that really short dress...

To be honest, I used to hate Paine. I thought she was just some random goth girl they added to the game.
I was so wrong.
After finding out more about her, I gained a lot of respect for her.
She is all to herself, but that's how Paine is. Heck, I'm even like that. She isn't spherehunting for fun either, she's doing it for answers and she's actually quite serious about it.
Also, when her and Yuna talk (AWAY FROM RIKKU), it seemed as if Yuna was "herself" again. She wasn't all hyper and Rikku-wannabefied, and she finally started to take spherehunting seriously; It wasn't just some "big game" she joined with that annoying cousin of hers.

But then of course, Rikku is still joined to the Gullwings, and Yuna loses herself again. I'm not blaming everything on Rikku though, Yuna's actions are still Yuna's actions.

I had to go with Rikku.

Honestly I couldn't stand any of them, however if I had to choose, then Rikku it is.

The reason being is because at least Rikku remained the same hyperactive person she was from FFX through to FFX-2 and it's what is expected of her. She's not trying to be anyone else and that's the way it should be.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yuna on the other hand just turned into a total Rikku wannabe and just annoyed me to the extent that I completely despised her. <_<. I loved Yuna's reserved and innocent personality in FFX. =( Now she's just another girl who prances around in her underwear and acts like she doesn't get why guys make remarks about her choice of clothes etc.

You can't prance around in underwear and still claim to be innocent Yuna! :gasp: It's only normal that you'll get that kind of attention if you decide to dress that way! :gasp: Stop being a try-hard and go back to the amazing person you were in FFX! :gasp:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paine on the other hand just seemed to think she was too good and acted like she had seen so many bad things (like no one else has been through a rough time Paine you sook) and had this 'Omg I'm so dark and mysterious' attitude about her. She seemed like an attention seeker in her own way for being like that.

I don't know Paine and I didn't particulary want to get to know about her during the game either.

There seemed to be too much fake drama there, for her to even be worth looking into.

I remember playing this game when I was about 11-12 years old and paine completely got my attention. I remember thinking "omg she's so cool!", even till now I can't change my mind about my fav. so its pretty much paine forever XD

For me it actually changed a lot depending on what was going on...I liked Yuna a lot when it came to more emotional scenes but I got annoyed by her door-mat-ness as Shinra puts it.

I also liked Rikku for her...Rikku-ness...but she didn't have much depth in this game, she had much more in X I believe

I remember liking Pain quite a bit..and while she is very emo in the beginning she opens up a lot towards the end (a lot of these are extra scenes you sort of have to...unlock) especially i fyou get all the crimson spheres so I thought she had good development so I would have to pick Paine. :) For now anyway..

It's a difficult one..

But I think Yuna, although she's more confident and loose, she's still who she is.

Contrary to what many people seem to think.

Plus, her special dress is awesome..

EDIT: I'll throw in my opinions about the others.

Rikku, I've always loved her and her attitude, it was a difficult choice between her and Yuna.

Paine, I never felt much for her, it always seemed as if she was just there.. to fill up the party, there was an attempt at linking her to the story. But I felt it was a poor attempt.

rikku is my favorite since the first one. i actulaly like the first yuna better than the second one. she just seem a little to slutty for me in the second one.

Rikku is definitely my favorite, in all forms. She was so cute and cheerful, but she had her very serious moments as well. She was such a sweetheart, and it's just hard to find flaw in her character. Some people find her annoying, but I really don't think she is at all. She's just peppy. I really like Yuna too, very noble, brave, caring and also kind. I guess I just really prefer Rikku's spunk.

As for Paine... I didn't care for her one bit. She kind of bored me, and felt like a washed up version of LuLu.

Rikku. She was so upbeat like always. She said some of the most funniest things too. I just enjoyed her personality, and that she tried to get Yuna to perk up and start having some fun to keep her mind off of things.

Her outfits were so cute too. They were some of my favorite ones out of the three. I'd like to remake some of them for myself once I get better at sewing.

I also thought her and Gippal's flirting was so cute. I think it would of been interesting to see their relationship develop more on FFX2. I know they were suppose to be together in FFX or before FFX or whatever, but we didn't get to see any of that. I bet it would of been cute.

I never really liked Paine I found her very Dull And Miserable As For Yuna I loved the Yuna In FFX-2 a lot more then the Yuna in FFX As For Rikku She is The best out of the 3 Her character does not really change from FF10 she still Acts the same Still clumsy Bumbly And Cute :D
