  • I do a mixture of illustration, graphic design etc with a more fine art mindset, that spills into various other mediums depending on where the ideas take me.

I'm not a student any more. I studied Fine Art at college about 5 years ago, took a few years out, went back and studied Graphic Design in prep for University which I was suppose to go onto this year but didn't for various reasons. Thinking of applying next year instead.

Oh cool. Where abouts in the Southwest? I'm in Wiltshire :)
Yeah glad that there are people here who want to give this game a chance and anticipate for it :) I am sitting for A-levels btw. Hmm you may want to set the fanclub if you have the time. Because I don't think I will the next few weeks. Or I will just do it next month.
Yeah I know you are. I said 'one of the ones' :) I think there should be an FFXIII-2 fanclub in this forum, don't you think so?
OH WAIT OHHHHH OKAY I GOTCHA Tried reading it but it was too long for my tastes lul
Oh naw that was fine :P I've been good, busy with a lot of work but good nonetheless. How have you been lately? ^_^
Thanks for collaborating with me. I think my signature is finished. All I had to do was add in text and colors and the sig looked finished pretty much. I hope you don't mind if I start using the sig. I've been wanting to change my set for a while >.< Of course you're credited in the collab :P
Hmm, favourite place.. That would be going by boat anywhere out in the archipelago in the summer, visiting some random pretty island for a picnic maybe, it's really nice :3 Or my grandparents summer-place in southern Finland, a couple of really old houses in a lovely landscape. Swimming in the sea, playing with the dogs in the fields, and stuff like that. Finland at its best!
And I didn't know it's harder to get the driver liscense in Finland than anywhere else  There's a lot of theory and practice lessons, and it's expensive, and the tests aren't a walk in the park unless you've studied really properly, but I thought it's pretty much the same everywhere.. I failed the theory test the first time :P

Btw hope I don't bore you, realized I'm talking a lot when I hit the 1000 letters cap and had to make this second post..
Well, I've been somewhat of a loner for years, I'm good at freezing others out, and the "hero" in the book is somewhat like that too. At least I'd like to think I can relate to him that way, I think he's an interesting character.

And hmm, what's it like living in Finland.. I live on the Åland islands btw, maybe you know of them? Åland is part of Finland, but we speak swedish here. We're demilitarized and all that. I got a bunch of relatives in Helsinki and around there so I go to the mainland from time to time anyway.

The welfare here is good, not a lot of poverty and it's a good country to live in, definetly :) Really cold during the winters and really warm during the summers, that's what I like the most, all the seasons are very clearly defined. And Åland is a very beautiful place during summer and autumn, with all the colours ^^ Åland is pretty big on tourism, during the summer it's swarming with people and events.
Yeah I've had that problem too, they all felt too familiar. I could relate to the protagonist in his way of thinking and reacting, I guess... Not in what he has/will go through, of course :P If I was born into a world like that, I would've been a lot like him, I think... A loner, basically.

I was brought up with Tove Jansson's Muumin so it has a special place in my heart too, I've been to her hometown trice :P I'd definfetly reccoment a trip, but make sure to go in the summer, during winter everything's closed!

I've never tried porridge with honey :O Hmm.. I just use milk and no berries xD

Btw I typed this after 06 am cvoming home from nightclub so spelling mibght be a little off, sowwyz
Hey :) Left hand of God is a fantasy epic, the first in a triology, it's pretty grim and dark, and touches subjects like religion, slavery, love and brotherhood. Doesn't sound so special xD

"Paul Hoffman’s The Left Hand of God is a poorly written bundle of fantasy and religious stereotypes with nonexistent characterisation and a plot that never leaves the ground. We can’t recommend highly enough that you don’t go out and buy The Left Hand of God. And if you already have, leave it on the shelf."

And then there's reviews like that.. But I can't more than disagree though! The brutality and dirt really made it real for me, and I could relate to the protagonist somewhat :P The whole book was like a long, dark but wonderful dream.. Maybe it's just that I haven't had a good, dark fantasy read in ages.

Why'd you wanna go to Finland anyway? It's like.. cold. And btw, I'm the only one I know that eats porridge for breakfast! :D My mom taught me good~
I feel bad. I forgot about your PM when I opened it for the day and left for class. :(

1.) 150x150 avatars you get when you acquire veteran member (1000+ posts) status. Either that or you buy it from vBshop.

2.) Not much. Just school stuff. You?
Hey! I'm still up for the collab. I just have some things to work out lately as a result from what I did the weekend we were supposed to swap. I'm terribly sorry for this as it seems things always get complicated in the worst of times :S I'll be finished with my peice tonight and will send it on msn asap if that's okay ^^
    Gotta love Dylan Moran indeed.

Crap, I didn't know you could comment. SINCE WHEN HEHEH
I am happy with the avy and sig combo you came up with to thank you very much for your help.
Got twins who are 5 and youngest is 3, yeah playing with them can be creative and end in fits of laughter most times. I haven't actually got them into gaming all the games I play they aren't allowed to watch lol thats when I do get time to play haha.

It is a bit hard to camp with young children because all their needs and wants but when they get a bit older I hope (with the blessing of my better half) get them out of teh city to experience the outdoors I don't want them to get caught up in an electronic and media run society and as they get older I hope they figure that out.

On another not I think my record is two weeks with out a proper shower while camping we had a river but most of the time you had to be brave to face the cold water lol
I love horror especially the ones that get into your head and psych you out scars the hell out of me but I still like them. Yeah I like movies that make you think and anime thats why I like Ghost in the Shell and I have watched a bit of Death Note.

Well I have hobbies I don't know how creative they are but they are hobbies none the less besides xbox and reading, pc games, forums I like to fish go camping(not often enough) I spend time with my kids, I dabble in drawing, when the kids grow up I am going to start to make hand made furniture that's my biggest hobby but it takes time and money none of which I have right now haha

    And you?
    Sorry about the late response.

I did Greece and the Greeks! I preferred the ancient history side of it to the later modern Greek stuff, but there were some parts that I still found interesting.

What I do at the moment is room hosting at a heritage property, helping out at an archaeological dig, and also helping out at another museum. Those are voluntary, but my CV looks better for them now. I've been doing odd bits of paid work but haven't got anything that people have wanted to keep me in for very long, which is quite humiliating. However, I am going back to uni to do an MA.
