  • hbo would be nothing short of perfect, though i wouldn't say no to it being amc

it was quite good. finished work at half 11 and went to a party at my mate's flat. nothing overly flamboyant really. how was it for you?
oh i thought it was supposed to cover that. i'm glad there hasn't been any word on a film for a long time. after i re-read them all i decided that they just wouldn't work as films. if they were made into a tv series like game of thrones then i could accept that, but 4 films for 7 books just wouldn't work
Im a Hogmany Scrooge. I dont like going out on Hogmany because firstly its usually freezing cold and pishing of rain. Every single pub and bar is so packed that you either dont get in or youl s-pend 40 mins trying to get served. To go along with that most Bars and clubs charge a fortune for entry and drink prices are increased by like 100%. Instead of going oot my pal is coming down and we have loads of food ready to cook. Ie sausages, racks of ribs, roast beef, bacon, kilted sausages, mashes neeps and mashed tatties and quiche. And of course plenty of beer. Couldnt think of a better way to spend it :D
i'm mostly interested about how they got from the emerald palace to the middle of the forest. it didn't bother me the first time i read it, but it's one of the few questions that need answered now. i think i might wait until it's on paperback and get it a bit cheaper. plus the cover is different from all my others so it will look odd on the shelf :(
that look is like 'i'm taking you to bed then'

not yet sadly. i re-read them all a little while ago and i've started re-reading the harry potters now. maybe after i'm done with them. have you?
So far I've been to Japan, China (transit), Russia, Turkey, Austria and Germany. I did end up finding the apartment; it is now a police station haha. My first Christmas away from home was alright, aside from finding the apartment, I had a litre of beer for breakfast in one of those beer halls, which was pretty good. :monster:
Not too bad my dear pal. I've been travelling the past month or so and am currently in Munich. I spent Christmas Day looking for Hitler's old apartment. Life is grand. How are you?
    Not an official plan yet.

Worrying that Christmas is a week away, actually. :argor:

I might head up North to visit relatives. If not, I'll have a quiet Christmas. Take days off, play some games, spend time with family, etc. But mostly just breaking the usual routine of life is what I'm looking forward to.

    Yourself?
Indeed I do, I have also got more Yorkshire since I went to uni so you'll be speaking to a nice english northerner
I'm not bad. Minus a couple of distractions things are on the whole ok.

It has been a very long time. How have you been?
