You have to light up all the platforms in each room on Penumbra. You light them up with black orbs you get from monsters in the pharos sometimes when they fall. There's no real significance to get the other floors unless you're trying to fight the overseer.

Mine was the entire sandsea. It took forever and it wasn't that easy when I was at low levels. The other one I hated was the probably the Lhushu mines.

I found him in the Penumbra subterra level. If you keep going around in circles and nothing shows up, then stay on that level, he'll show up soon.

Agreed. I think Basch is the maturest mainly because in all the cut-scenes i've seen, i've never seen him acting around, just mainly sticking to the main objective.

Can someone please help with the Esper, Zodiark. I do great until he becomes immune to both physical damage and magick damage. He's almost dead but he just won't die.

If there's other espers, you have to get those too, which I think you did. Plus you have to do some hunt where you fight an oversized Humbaba (can't remember the name right now) in the Zertinan Caverns I believe. I thought there was 13 Espers.

Yeah, in order to get the rare monsters out you have to talk to them first, another thing I found on accident (that happened alot for alot of sidequests and such during the game). But I'm asking if you can spawn out certain ones.

The only rare monsters that I have ran into are purely accidental, I wasn't even looking for them, they just popped out.

Yeah I beat the final boss in the lv 40's or 50's, took like 3 tries before I actually beat him. My main goals right now are getting the tournesol and using it to own the BK.

The, I think it was called the Shadowseer, was my favorite because you don't need a certain stradegy for him, just some quick thinking everytime a new boss comes out. He was the only really good boss that I beat on my first try.:)

I agree with you with the bombs, but the one's in the Great Crystal gave me the hardest time. I usually had to run away, but I'm still proud I only beat a group of them once.

For me in the beginning was Vaan, Balthier and Ashe. Now I've taken out Ashe and use Penelo, sometimes Basch.
