Poor comparison. The GB, GBC and GBA all had healthy life-spans, and the GB Micro was not a separate console, but another GBA model.
As for Nintendo's new console, it makes sense that they'd be the first to release a new one, as their sales have been steadily declining for a while (In part...
The Xbox is for
A). people who are not competent enough to purchase an affordable gaming PC, and
B). people who are crazy enough to get a console for the few true exclusives (Note: not available on the PC) the console has.
The PS3 has a much larger library of real exclusives and is...
Thank goodness. This will probably give them time to fine-tone the RPG elements and choice and consequence, which was pretty crap in ME2 compared to ME1, ME1 actually having a pretty memorable plot filled with choices that felt meaningful, in addition to an excellent fictional...
Uhh... this is the Mortal Kombat thread, and I'm talking about Mortal Kombat. Would it really make much sense for me to start up a thread about a potential port that probably won't exist in the 3DS section (Which this site doesn't have), in addition to considering the fact that Mortal Kombat is...
I'm liking the StreetPass feature. Yeah, it isn't much of an innovation considering that a connection to the internet could serve its purpose far more efficiently, but it's still pretty cool being able to pick up data from random passerbys and using it in your games. I could see a future Pokemon...
After playing Street Fighter IV for the 3DS, which is pretty fantastic, I'm hoping they port this to the console, as well. Imagine, fatalities in 3D. It would be glorious.
Meh, this isn't very surprising. They did the same thing with Halo, Dante's Inferno, Batman and the Matrix (Although the last two "anime-ized" things out of that list were actually pretty good). It's just another form of merchandising.
We've invented a system for interpreting mathematical concepts, which are based on the world around us. If there are two dogs, there are two dogs, no matter what word you use for "two" or how you convey that concept. Extraterrestrial civilizations thousands of star systems away might not use the...
I honestly do not see why this topic should exist as a debate in a modern, civilized society. It should go without saying that "race" is an arbitrary social construct that is nothing more than a crude attempt at attaching meaning to certain spots along a long, blurry continuum of genetic...
So, me and my bros recently got tickets to go to this thing when it comes to Atlanta. I remember going to Dear Friends several years back, and boy, did they put on a good show. I'm sure it won't disappoint, but as--apparently--the program is subject to change, I do have some expectations as to...
Source? That wasn't stated in the original game, and in fact, the entirety of the original game's plot pointed to it being a mental state (Cloud overcoming Sephiroth-Jenova's consciousness and whatnot; "Sephiroth pulling Cloud's spirit out in to the afterlife" wouldn't make much sense...
He called Jenova his mother repeatedly before and after the big revelation in the original FFVII too, though. In the correct context, it really doesn't look that silly ("Mother" took on more of a symbolic meaning after Sephiroth discovered the truth).
As for why people call Sephiroth a...
Depends on how you define "controlled." Was Cloud a mindless slave like those other "clones?" No. However, he was, for all intents and purposes, insane, and certainly gave in to the influence of Sephiroth-Jenova on multiple occasions. In fact, he was more useful to Sephiroth than the other...
The whole Ultimania Omega thing confirmed Sephiroth was in control. Sephiroth was able to exist because of his connection to Jenova; if anything, Jenova and Sephiroth became one. The body and power of Jenova, the personality and hatred of Sephiroth.
To clear up confusion, Jenova's dead only...
Wow, that's... new.
Honestly, everything you're saying about the game couldn't be farther from the truth. Red Dead Redemption was a fantastic game, in nearly every way. Whatever, though.
I've recently developed some sort of spite for Mass Effect 2. I don't flat-out hate the game; I just...
I tend to use Zidane, Dagger, Vivi and Steiner. It's the most balanced possible setup, and they're my usual setup on most of my playthroughs, which explains why; occasionally, I may switch out one for Eiko to play around with her summons/abilities.
It's as if this show doesn't even try to sneak crap past the radar; they openly walk past the radar waving at it.
Seriously, this show is amazing. Who else watches it?
In what way do they defend what you state and contradict what I state (I want to know so I know you actually took the time to read the sources)?
Alright, so atheists don't believe what theists believe (Because atheism, again, is the lack of belief). What's your point? This, again, is a binary...
