"WHY CAN'T WE GET FIVE MINUTES OF GOD DAMN PEACE ON THIS FECKING PILGRAMAGE!!!!!!" Stephen burst out with in an angry tone as he sprinted up after Yuna, as he got to the top of the stairs he saw the Sinspawn and sprinted towards it.

Stephen noticed one of it's huge tentacles speeding towards him so he flipped over it and slashed downwards on it "Bad sinspawn" Stephen announced, in a slight joking tone, before running up and slashing the main shell of the fiend, after failing, Stephen flipped backwards and looked to Yuna, "that thing is solid" stephen shouted, sounding very unimpresed
 
"Solid is my job", Vesper said with a smirk as he ran past Stephan and flipped his scythe around so the pointed tip was forwards, Vesper adjusted his hand and slammed this spike hard between the two plates on the front before pushing down with all his strength causing the plates to spread apart slight before Vesper suddenly pushed the point tip in. Vesper felt it bit into flesh and smiled before ripping in back out as the shell of the thing burst open in front of him knocking him back to where Stephan was.

"Didn't expect that", Vesper said as he got back up and stood ready. "Thought the thing would stay in its shell not go offensive like that", Vesper joked.
 
"Thanks, Lady Yuna." She quickly said over to Yuna, after noticing the Sinspawn.

Keeping her blade sheathed, Sera raised her palms towards the Sinspawn. "This should handle things finely. Thunder." She announced, releasing a cackling bolt of lightning from her palm, hitting her targets, and knocking them out. "And Stephen, you've already got your five minutes of peace back at the inn..." She added, winking over to Stephen.

Amusingly enough, the mood so far seemed rather lively. Smiling, Sera knew just then she was rather pleased with this atmosphere.
 
as the other's pounded on the main section of the Sinspawn, both hand like things were attacking Stephen, dodging all 6 finger like appendages, repeatedly, Stephen was almost chanting "fuck fuck fuck fuck" was all that was comming from his mouth as he was ducking and dodging, hoping not to get hit by on of the things.

As he dodged again, he countered knocking one of the fingers back, "haha" Stephen announced before getting hit by one of them, knocking him down "Crap" he announced as he bounced off the floor and returned to his feet.

[OOC: don't you think thats a bit strong for an attack, it never opens that quickly, try and keep to the game fiend strengths]
 
OOC: Not really I over trained that early in the game last time I played FFX, Lulu's over drive opened it straight off for me.

BIC: Vesper dodged the strikes from the fingers with little effort and ran towards the fiends head again to strike but was force to jump back as it spat a green glob at him. Vesper only just avoided its splash as it landed but went of the offensive at the head again. Vesper swung his entire self around as he reached its base while using his legs as a spring causing a large diagonal cut to appear along the sin spawns chest. As Vesper landed he was forced to block as the creatures head came down at him, it had attempted to head butt him but Vesper was holding back its head stopping him from being crushed but for now that's all he could do under the weight.

Moving herself closer to Vesper, she firmly released an upward slash at a Sinspawn that attempted to pounce on Vesper. Proceeding to release a Thunder spell, she quickly whispered over to Vesper. "This is for saving me earlier. Thanks again." Looking back at the Sinspawn, she sighed softly, realizing her attacks had failed to put it out of commission. "How many more are there, really." She wondered to herself, hoping that this battle wouldn't go too long.

'Can't have myself breaking down when we just started on the journey...' This thought met with agreements mentally within herself. Furthermore, it enforced the fact she was not going to use magic for now.
 
As Stephen regained his composure he could see vesper and Sera working well together, "Sera, use your spells" he announced as he dodged another tentacle. as he spun around to face the hand that just attacked stephen was hit by the other. he slid across the floor about 7 feet before slowly picking himself up 'as long as i can't attack this thing i can't prepare my overdrive' stephen thought as he pushed himself to his feet.

Stephen glanced over at Yuna 'she needs me to protect her' he thought 'i won't fail this summoner' he continued in his head. Sprinting at the right hand, he slashed every finger as they came towards him. Stephen felt a surge of power, before he jumped into the air and came slashing down hard on the Sinspawn's right hand, it vanished into the rock, and Stephen smiled.
 
Yuna saw the fight going on between Gineaux and her guardians. After seeing the Sinspawn's moves, she started to notice that it's attacks are water based. Because of this Yuna cast NulTide on herself and on the whole party. She was ready to cast more if needed. Yuna quickly said, "Shield us from watery woe." Before looking up at Stephen, who just sliced off the Sispawn's Right Tentacle.
 
Vesper watch the blowing shield form around him and smiled wickedly as he tensed all the muscles in his arms as the Sin spawn struck again with its arms, Vesper took the hit on purpose but was ready as it only dropped him to his knee. This rather than annoying Vesper made him smile, Vesper brought his scythe to the top of a swing as the blade expanded and turned as black as night, it continued doing this till the scythe tip was about ten meters long. Vesper then swung once causing a massive black surge to be fired off straight into the sin spawn, this attack left a black glow where it touched on the Sin spawn before this glow exploded with a force that shock the ground.

"With all the damage dealt to it before this I think that overdrive might just have finished it", Vesper said calmly as the smoke and dust started to clear. "Spoke to soon, its still up but its weak guys", Vesper added standing ready for another stirke.
 
Whirling her blade about playfully, Sera released another Thunder spell at the Sinspawn. "Nice job, Vesper." She said over to him as the spell took effect. The cackling bolt proceeded to dance swiftly to the monster, shocking it. "Amazing." She continued to say, as she quickly noticed that the monster was only weakened, and not defeated.

"Well, somebody could finish him off now, I should say." She announced to the group, holding her blade loosely, ready to sheathe it already. Yet she wasn't ready to totally pull down her guard. Keeping a firm grip on the blade, she continued to scrutinize the monster's movements, lest it does something harmful to the group.
 
Stephen spun and slashed at the left arm, causing it to dissapear aswell, he then turned to see that the rest of the group had weakened the sinspawn enough for it to be killed. Sprinting at it he used his momentum to thrust himself into the air, comming down at the fiend, he thrust his blade into it's head, the Fiend let out a shrill screech and then fell to the floor, it was dead.

Stephen fell to one knee, panting heavily, all of the fights the group had been in had began to take effect on him mentally, "I swear to god, one more thing goes wrong on this god damn pilgramage I'm going to kill somebody" Stephen announced as he stood up to see the Priests comming over, they looked thankful for the job the group had done in dispatching the Sinspawn. Stephen nodded as he sheathed his sword and stood up.
 
Vesper sighted the priests and gave them a bit of a glare as he remembered the stubborn one back at Besaid Island. Vesper eyed the fiend as it faded after this before walking over to Stephan.

"Nice job Stephan, a Bit showy for my liking though but still nice", Vesper said in a friendly manner as he patted Stephan on the shoulder. "You were lucky that you could finish it though I thought my attack would have destroyed it but I got unlucky I guess", Vesper commented again rubbing the back of his head.
 
Watching as the monster faded, Sera sheathed her blade with little worry. "Nice work, guys." She commented as she glanced over to Yuna, to ascertain her safety. Noticing the priests coming closer, Sera shifted her attention on them. No matter what they are, there was always a chance that Yuna would be hurt by them.

Sera didn't intend to take the risk in finding out. Moving closer to Yuna defensively, her hands rested on the hilt of her sword.
 
Yuna and her guardians were being thanked and congratulated by the Yevonite priests for killing the Sinspawn and preventing a deadly situation from happening. Yuna was happy for the first time since she left to begin her pilgrimage. Yuna followed the priests into the temple, where she and her friends would begin the Kilika Cloister of Trials to recieve the aeon, Ifrit. She entered the elevator, and called on her friends, "Come on!"

Stephen followed after Yuna, pushing past the Yevonites, he was obviously in a bad mood for some reason, but there was nothing apparent. he continued to the elevator and smiled before placing two fingers in his mouth and whistling the group, almost as though they were animals being called. "yo guys, hurry the yevon up would ya"
 
Vesper jogged and easily caught up with the rest of the group as they reached the tops of the stairs. Vesper instantly noticed that the Kilika Temple was a lot larger than the Besaid one, or so it appeared to be from the outside. Vesper walked into the open area of the temple and looked around as a couple of memories came back, ones of him a few years younger and a group of around eight people chatting together in a friendly manner. As these thoughts came back names started to come and match to faces. Izen, Reeve, Sam, Jen these were the main names that came back yet he still didn't have any memnories of there connection and what made them friends.
 
Glancing over to Vesper as he walked to an open area of the temple. The reason for that eluded Sera, and she had no intention of finding out either. Looking over to Yuna, she followed her into the elevator. Suddenly remembering Vesper, she quickly exited the elevator. Looking around for Vesper, she caught sight of him at the same exact spot where she last saw him.

"Hey! Let's get moving." She called out to him, waving her hands direct him to the elevator.
 
Vesper got pulled back to reality with a start and spotted Sera and the others, Vesper walked straight for them at his own pace. The memories were coming back ... slowly, and this made Vesper happy in a sense but he still didn't know what happened in his past and was still curious. He only hoped that what did happen wasn't as terrible as he thought it was. Vesper started to jog when he reached the doors and made it to the elevator quickly.
 
The elevator lowered the group into the Kilika clositer of trials. yuna saw a red sphere and an indentation next to the door. Yuna took the shphere out of the pedestal and placed it near the door. As the sphere was placed, the door started to burst in flames. Yuna quickly removed the sphere before the whole temple burst in flames. The door disappeared into ash, and she continued forward.
 
Vesper wondered into the next room with Lady Yuna and looked around spotting another different sphere he walked over to it and scratched his head.

"Hey I think we need to do something with this one", Vesper said unsure of himself picking it up and looking around. Vesper wasn't really to good at these sorts of puzzles but he was lucky with picking out random things, he walked over to the middle section of the room and placed it on the pedestal there causing a glyph to light up on the wall. "I got something here", Vesper called to the others.
