Balamb Garden

"Well then," Amelia said. She walked up the stairs to the second floor, which the fire blazed brighter than before.
"Ugh," Amelia said, shielding her eyes. "It feels like looking directly at the sun."
She reached the top, but not before an Anacondaur sprouted through the floor in front of them. It was hissing, as venom dripped from its mouth.
"Shit," Amelia grumbled. "Hey, Al, ya got Blizzard? It'll kill it in no time."
Amelia felt a nudge inside her.
Oh, God, Abigail, NOT NOW, Amelia said inside herself. She knew there was a demon inside her, but she cannot unleash it now.
She ignored Abigail, and shot the Anacondaur. The Anacondaur hissed, but not in pain.
"SHIT!!!" Amelia screamed. "Goddamn it, they shouldn't have made us have a few spells for a battle, goddamn them."

I take it you haven't ready my character.
MY character Al'umar, don't have the usual FF magic, he is based on manipulation on light.
so. he can sent of a light ball, similar to a fireball.
or he can do whatever he wishes, since he controls the spectrum of light.
----------------------------
"Hey, Al, ya got Blizzard? It'll kill it in no time." Amelia shouted on top of the stairs, just after an anacondaur attacked her..

before Al could reply, she shouted yet again:
"SHIT!!! - Goddamn it, they shouldn't have made us have a few spells for a battle, goddamn them."

Al'umar thought fast. This was a highly venomous creature.
And time was not on their side.

Fine, this creature had to be killed.

"Amelia, Take cover!!" Al shouted

Al took his sword, and jammed it into the floor, making it stay there.
he flattened his hands together. And concentrated.
luckily enough, he beat focused its attention on Al.
this made it even better.

In a slow, and strong movement, Al drew his hands apart.
In a way, this looked tiresome.
As his hands went further apart, the bigger a pure white sphere became.
it seemed as he was condensing the light in the room, into the sphere.
indeed, this was what he was doing as well.

As the creature deemed him a threat. It attacked, head on.
it jumped down, and landed on the 1st floor.

Al smiled, as the sphere took its form.
Al moved his hands to his right side, and took a step towards the beast, that was now rather close.
With a roar, the sphere was flung towards the beast, and the room went white.

After a few seconds. as one could see again. Al'umar was sitting one one knee, fatigued.
And the Anacondaur, was was left on it, was a scorch on the floor, in the shape of the beast.

Al got up. not too sturdy.
A quick shake of his head. and he seemed better.
He drabbed his sword. and looked to Amelia.

"You ok? You didn't get any venom on you, did you?" he shouted over to her.
Even though he looked physically fine, one knows, these things always drain mentally.

Evan stepped of of the train and instantly his face was shock stricken, and he fell to his knees
Evan: "how can this be?" a tear rolled down his right cheek "everything is decimated and all because of us Seed"
he saw the note signed ultimacia and he tears of sadness turned to tears of anger
Evan: "that Bitch" he drew the Keyblade from his back and ran out of the train station "I'll look for the mayor"
Evan ran straight into the center of the town and looked around for the mayor's house when he saw a Young boy under attack by a creature resembling the T-rexaurs from the training area. He immediatly ran at the large creature and Cut off the end of it's tail. "your fight is with me" he shouted at it, the creature let out a large screech and began attacking him, Evan was dodging the combinations of bites and tail whips fairly easily but then the enemy spat a fireball from it's mouth so Evan spun the Keyblade into a backhand holding position and blocked it "wow this guy is strong" he thought to himself

"Thanks, Al," Amelia said, standing up. "I'm OK, no need ta worry about me."
Amelia checked around herself if she had venom.
"Oh, no venom on me. Well, shall we move on?" Amelia looked around for any survivors.
She spotted something moving, groaning. "I think we have one." She ran to the survivor, who was crawling looking for a way out.
"You 'kay?" Amelia asked.
The survivor just groaned.
"Can you stand up?"
The survivor said nothing.
"Oh, well, if that's how you want it to be." She took the survivor by the arm and heaved.
"Oh, my, isn't this guy heavy..." Amelia walked slowly, looking around, trying to spot a doorway to the upper level.
Little did she know the survivor she was carrying was a trap. The survivor shifted, baring it's gray teeth. Amelia did not know that it was a zombie, pretending to be a survivor only to bite Amelia's arm.
He opened his mouth, and bit Amelia's arm.
Amelia stopped walking. She stood straight, dropping the zombie down the the floor.
She fell down, with her eyes closed.

Note: A zombie bite can be cured by an item called the Magic Tag, or by casting Esuna. A zombie bite will take 1 hour to take effect on the victim's body.

The zombie stood up, limping towards Al.

the zombie was rather slow.
thus it had to use such a tactic.

"When the hell did you get so smart" Al shouted to the undead. As he ran towards it.
As he neared, he brought his sword overhead, and jumped.
Upon decent, he stroke.
Cutting the zombie clean in half.

"man, I better thanks the smith for fixing my weapon" he said to himself. as he ran over to Amelia.

As he got there, he was about to ask if she was alright, but judging by the bite mark, and her being close to unconscious. he didn't ask.

He thought about curing her.
But he didn't have magics, as the others did. He needed help.
He tried to wake her, but it seemed as if be was drifting away.
he had little choice.

He picked her up, and positioned her on his back, taking care to get her guns. And to balance her, so that he only had to hold on to her, with his left arm.
After all. he needed the other one for sword using. as well as spell casting, if it was needed.

As everything was good to go. Al started running.
Towards the stairs. and down the fiery ones.

As they got down the stairs. Beasts attacked, more of the tiger ones.
Al didn't have time for this.
He cut down one. And concentrated for a sec.
he bend light around them, making them invisible.

this should work fine, until they got to the train.

Shortly after they exited the building.
And ran along the street, Al stopped the magic, turning them visible again.

"Now, which way to the train." he asked himself.
In all this commotion, he forgot where he came from.
his 'passenger' was out of the ability to answer, so he took a chance.

"That way."

3 minutes after. he realized that he should have gone the OTHER way.
Now he was lost, and his team mate, needed medical attention.

he thought about sending up a 'flare' thing, but this would attract more monsters. What to do.

Then, as all hope was lost, a familiar sound was heard in the sky.
Al looked up, and scouted the skies.

Could it be. Could it be her.
Indeed, it was Howl.
She had refused on the advice Al gave her before he departed.
She had followed the train, at her best ability.
And in fact, arrived.

As she dove down, there where no time for a reunion. Al immediately gave an order. Not an advice, a direct order:

"this girl have been bitted by a zombie, he need a magic tag, get one" he stated, and Howl took off.

he sat Amelia down, against a wall.
and prepared for incoming.

Howl recognized the hospital symbol, and entered.

after a minute or 2, she managed to find the item in question.
and she exited the same window she entered, to get back to Al.

Al had other things to worry about, there where more of the incoming tores creatures.
and a few of the zombies.
Though, Al did not intend to give up.
Various cuts was given, both to the enemies, and to Al.
Al took caution to use magic on the zombies, so they did not get too close.
since he might get infected himself.

AS fatigue closed in, howl returned.
In perfect timing.
A few more to be downed, and Howl released the item.
Al grabbed hold of it, and used it as it should.

Now, the only thing that was left, was to let the thing do its job, and keep her safe until that time.

he took a quick look at himself.
he was pretty banged up, cuts all over. luckily, only shallow ones.

More creatures neared.
And Al took his battle stance.
He turned the blade, pointing it downwards. and bringing it to his back.
So it pointed from his right hand, towards his left.

A few words, and it glowed a faint white.

"Bring it" AL said, before charging the incoming creatures.

Amelia was in quite a trance.
She couldn't see anything, right after a Zombie bit her. But she felt something energic and spiritual over her body. Her eyes opened, and she saw Al fighting 3 monsters.
Amelia checked her waistbelt to see if she had her Gemini guns. She found them beside her, and picked them up. She checked her ammo, which seemed to run out, so she replaced it with Holy Ammo.
She stood up, and ran to Al's side.
"I believe I'm running late," she said mysteriously, focused on the monsters.
She aimed at a Zombie's head, and shot 3 times. The shot was indulged with Holy light, gleaming and burned the Zombie down into ashes.
She looked at Al, and signaled him to use the combo.

Note: Combo is a form of teaming up with a mate. One teamate must have a sword, and the other teamate must have any type of magic that is effective to the enemy. The teamate has to cast a type of magic onto the other teamate's weapon, which will glow and the holder of the weapon must strike it onto the enemy.

Amelia put her guns back into her waistbelt, and conjured a spell.
"Are you ready, Al?" Amelia sort of screamed before she was ready to cast Fire on Al's weapon.

Al had just dispersed of 3 more.
"I believe I'm running late," A voice said from behind.

Al turn to see that Amelia was back to this world, and judging by the fact that she spoke.

"indeed you are" Al smiled. AS his team mate downed a zombie.

She looked at him, he knew the idea.

Combo.

Al had been enchanted with this once before. and he learned a rather effective technique. Or rather, a way of unleashing it.

Al again, changed grip, back into the Icepick grip.
where the blade points downwards, instead of upward.
He crouched slightly, and fastened his grip.

"Ready" he shouted back, as he looked at the horde of monsters that had been gathering, due to the battle sounds, and the smell of Al's blood.

"Here goes nothing," Amelia said.
Amelia raised her hand to her forehead, and chanted:
"Firna od lorki," she lowered her hand, aiming it at Al's weapon.
"FIRE!!!" she screamed, at it caught Al's sword, enchanted it with a fiery red glow.
"Ready when you are," Amelia said.

Al's sword was on fire, he looked back at it. It was glowing brightly.
Almost like it was on fire.

Al turned his head back to the horde, and grinned.

"Righthy then" he said, as he crouched more.
he looked to the ground, almost as concentrating.

"Amelia, crouch, or you might get hurt." he said to her, he hoped to hell that she did it. If not, she might end up rather hurt

then he looked back, at the center of the crowd, and grinned;

"Game On!" he shouted, as he started running.

his goal, was the big one, the Anacondaur in the center, he also had plans for the releasing of this.

He received various scrapes and blows, on his way to the center.
As he got to a few metres away. he jumped. Spinning in the air counter clock wise ((if seen from above)).
This was to maximize the force, as well as the initial step for his unleashing.

He was close, NOW.

Al'umar used all his might, and unleashed the spell, with a battle cry, All directed in the Anacondaur.
As the fiery sword entered the body, the blade came out, clean of the fire.

The beast screamed, as far as any serpent creature could.
However, this was not a normal fire spell, this was the 2nd stage of the unleashing. The rest would fix itself.

Suddenly, the fire started spinning.
It did this for a few seconds, and it ripped the creature apart. however, this was not the full force. the end was coming now.

As the anacondaur was ripped apart, the fire circle expanded, rapidly, and controlled.

this was the reason for the crouching.
the fire circle spread out, splitting, and engulfing every creature that was standing higher then Al and hopefully Amelia right now.

After a few seconds. every beast in the area, was eighter burning, it split apart.
Al git back up, rather shabby. Ironically, this technique, takes the toll on the sword wielder, not the caster.

Al looked around. and looked back to Amelia.
He just smiled.

"I ain't gonna crouch crap, you ain't my mother!" she screamed, and watched what Al did with his sword.
It flamed into each monster burning them. Few moments later they swirled into the air with fire around them, like a fire tornado.
As soon as it was done, and every monster was annihilated, she turned to Al.
He smiled.
It took a few moments for Amelia to snap out of it of what just happened.
If Marko hears about this...Amelia thought.

Al stumbled over the pile of ash, that lied waste around the battleground.

"Howl, she didn't get torched, did she?" Al thought to himself in panic.

He looked around. Nothing.

he put his fingers to his mouth, and whistled.
A comforting screech in, coming from a nearby building, was all he needed.
She was safe. and on the way.

No noice was made, until she was just about to land, Hawks are very silent. only beaten bu the owls.

Howl landed on Al's left shoulder.

"hey there girl. thanks for saving my ass again" Al smiled, as he scratched her on her neck.
She looking like she enjoyed it, gave of a few happy squeaks.

Amelia looked at the bird on Al's shoulder, and smiled.
"Well let's move on, shall we?"
She followed a footpath, trying to find a way to the train, in case any SeeDs found survivors, or are still inside, mopping around.
Something caught her eye. She saw a T-Rexaur stomping, shaking the ground.
She turned to Al.
"Stay here," Amelia said, and walked towards the T-Rexaur.
She planned to sneak behind the foe and shoot its head.
She did not know that she would interrupt a SeeD member fighting it.
She ran behind a large piece of rubble and hid. As soon as the T-Rexaur turned its back on her, she made her move. She took out Geminis and cocked them.
She ran and flipped high to the T-Rexaur's neck, and laid her gun facing its head.
She shot, and it roared ferociously.
It fell down with a tremendous thud, and it bled from its head.
She finally noticed that her fellow SeeD member, Evan was there, holding his Keyblade.
"Oh I'm sorry," Amelia said."I didn't realize you were fighting him."

Al followed her, as he was really happy to have Howl back.
even thought she disobeyed him.
she helped save a fellow SeeD.
as well as that Al just liked having her around.

Amelia, suddenly hushed Al, and rand around a corner.
Al was in a 3 second confused state.
As he looked around the corner.
He was just fast enough, to see he r Blow the brains out of a T-Rexaur.

Al saw evan with his oversized key.
Al smiled, as he walked over to the 2. Passing the dead T-Rexaur.

"So.." he started. "now what" he smiled.

Amelia moved on with Al, looking around. She couldn't walk normally much, she was feeling woozy and sleepy.
But Amelia took up her strength and went on. She looked at Al, who was still scratching and petting his bird.
Geez, could he stop getting so obessed with his hawk? Amelia thought.
She looked around herself, and seeing that she and Al were close to the Mayor's house, her aim, she couldn't walk no longer.
She fell to the ground, motionless, but alive.

"This hawk, is Howl. my lifelong companion" Al replies, but as he turns towards her. She falls to the ground.

Al runs over, and checks it out.
"She is breathing, pulse is there" he said to himself, as he was checking her vitals.

He couldn't let her lie in the open like this. He picked her up again, positioning her on his back again. And walked towards the building in front, witch was ever no nicely marked 'Mayor'

As he was walking, he thought to himself
"I should stop with this habit this is the 2nd girl I have to do this with" though, a faint smile grew.

He entered the mayors building, and surprisingly enough, it seemed in better condition the the rest if the town.

Al put Amelia in a nearby red Sofa, and sat down in a chair nearby.

"*Sigh*, Why does this happen to me" He said to himself.

As soon as Amelia fell down, she fell into a deep sleep. She couldn't wake up until she unleashes Abigail.
Abigail was a demon living inside Amelia, but was a guardian too. She was known as Abigail, The Demon Guardian. Abigail takes form of an angel, but in red. She has red horns on her head, in the shape of the devil.
If she is unleashed, she will return to Heaven, where she was banished to serve the Devil, after she was framed for something she hadn't done.
Abigail ran away from the Devil and hid inside Amelia's body, which gave Amelia a guardian.
Amelia was cold, and she could not move. She had to give in to Abigail. If she unleashes Abigail, Amelia will have to pay the ultimate price.
Amelia had no hope.
Inside herself she said, "It's time I shall give in, Abigail. May you return to Heaven in peace."
Amelia took a deep breath, and relaxed. Her breath gave a red flow of energy, which emerged into a spirit, dressed in red.
"You have released me, Amelia," the spirit, Abigail, said. "It is time, I shall return to the Heavens, and live my life. Farewell to you."
Abigail's clothes turned into white, and turned into a white flow. It rose into the air, passing through every solid substance, and through the roof.
Amelia had returned to being a mortal.
Amelia could suddenly move again. She opened her eyes, and saw Al sitting across her. She shifted.
"Al..." Amelia started. "What happened?"

The T-rexaur like creature had Evan pinned in a corner using its fire breath but thanks to Evan's Null-fire ring he was unaffected by fire "thank god i picked this up from the balamb accessory shop before i left, i really don't like fire" he though to himself as the creature stopped for a second. he charged forward slashed through the ligaments in the creatures right ankle and as it fell to the floor he decapitated it.
"that was easier than i thought it would be!"
Evan then walked over to the boy and helped him to his feet. the boy was pretty badly beaten up, cuts and scratches all over his body, a dino bite in his leg and a burn on his right shoulder.

Evan: "are you okay?"
Boy: "i have been better"
Evan: "i am with the balamb garden Seed, i am here to help you"
Boy: "did you say balamb Garden?"
Evan: "yes"
Boy: "thank god your here, the mayor he is..." the man fell unconscious
Evan: "sir? Sir?" there was no reply "dammit"
Evan lifted the man onto his shoulder and picked up the Keyblade with his other hand "this is going to be to hard on my own" he thought. Evan shut his eyes and the sky turned black "Diablo king of the demons i call you forth" he muttered and 1 thousand bats flew down from the sky and formed into the GF Diablo
Diablo: "Evan, where are we?"
Evan: "we have arrived at fisherman's horizon"
Diablo: "this is the 'safe' place for the documents?"
Evan: "it was, this is a survivor i need you help getting him to the train"
Diablo: "then i shall help you"
Evan: "thank you, lets go"

Evan couldn't jog as he was worried that he might cause more injury to the survivor so he was walking with Diablo walking about 10 yards in front killing anything that got in there way, after 5 minuets they had returned to the train and Evan left the survivor in the capable hands of the Seed medic.

Upon stepping out of the train, Arthvader was shocked to see the place in ruins. Just then, he took out his blades, and all of a sudden, he saw what appeared to be a guardian, heading towards the sky.

'what just happened here? I should probably check where that guardian appeared'

As he hurried to the location, he notices Al and Amelia.

Arthvader "Tell me, what has happened here? and what was that guardian that i just saw?"

As Al was starting int he floor. Muttering to himself, about his bad luck.

After Amelia has been lying one the couch for some time. Al decided to look at her.
However, he did not only see Amelia. Well. he did, but they where not alone.
There was another girl there. Looking rather unsafe.

Al was surprised, the chair he sat in, tipped over, and he fell to his back, and rolled a few metres away. Ending up knocking down some statue things.

As he jumped up, and grabbed his Sword.

"WHAT THE HELL!" he shouted to the spirit looking thing.

"You have released me, Amelia," the spirit said. "It is time, I shall return to the Heavens, and live my life. Farewell to you."

This did not help Al much, he became more confused.
Suddenly, its clothes turned white, and it soared through the roof.

A few seconds later. Amelia woke;
"Al..." Amelia started. "What happened?"

Just as that happened. Arth stepped in the door, seemed to be just as surprised as Al.

This was not an easy thing to explain.
Al walked back to Amelia, and sheathed his sword.
And explained what happened, the best he could

"Oh, Al..." Amelia said. Tears were in her eyes. Then she looked up at Arthvader, who was surprised.
"I'm going to..." Amelia fell into Al's arms, crying.
She couldn't believe that she has to pay the ultimate price. A fate is decided upon her, and she will die soon, but not too soon.
Amelia slowed her crying down, and got out of Al's arms. She raised her hand to her neck, holding the ancient brooch, passed down from her tribe to one another. She felt the Ruby jewel, which was crested with the Jakasa Tribe Crest.
She hoped it wasn't too soon.
