Balamb Garden

After the downed Elnoyle shook the ground.
The ground did not stop shaking, the SeeD's knew this was trouble.

The beast seemed to be reviving, and damon stated that he would take it.
In doubt, Al had to choose.
Follow Amelia, or help Damon.

Al decided to stay.
"Like hell you're fighting this thing alone" AL stated, as he readied himself.
His sword in the reverse grip, and a slight crouch.

"Lets do this" AL stated to Damon, as he ran towards the beast, alongside damon

Amelia saw Damon and Al fighting the Elnoyle. She couldn't stay, she had to bring the Mayor to safety.
"Okay, I'll meet you guys at the train!" she yelled, waving good-bye.
She beckoned the Mayor to follow, and he did.
I hope they come back safe and sound, Amelia thought.
Amelia went back to the train entrance, and walked inside.
She saw Zell, Squall, and Evan waiting for them.
"We have the Mayor, he's safe," Amelia said.
"Al and Damon are outside, as Arth is still not snapped out of what happened," Amelia said, annoyed.

As Damon and Al battle the Einoyle, Arthvader decided to call out some reinforcements.

Arthvader "Gilgamesh, I summon you."

Arthvader took out the pendant containing Gilgamesh and released him.

Gilgamesh "Hey, it's been a while, eh. What do you need me for this time."

Arthvader "I want you to help Damon and Einoyle. I need to help Amelia with the mayor."

Gilgamesh "Ok, well i'll be on my way then. see you soon."

As Gilgamesh headed towards Damon and Al, Arthvader assisted Amelia.

Arthvader "Amelia, do you need any help?"

Amelia stared at Arth.
"Um...we're in the train already," Amelia said. "No need for help..."
Amelia checked around the train, looking at SeeDs and instructors(not to mention the very few survivors).
"Well, then." Amelia rested in a nearby chair.
"I need some rest..."

the chill of Gilgamesh's summoning ran down Evan back, as summoners could sense other summons close by"why is Arth summoning Gilgamesh i saw him just a minute ago" Evan then looked out of the train window and saw the Elnoyle "holy crap!" he stated loudly so the other Seed members heard him

Squall: "what's wrong Evan?"
Evan: "that is whats wrong" Evan pointed at the Elnoyle
Squall: "HOLY CRAP!!!"
Evan: "told you so, I'm going after it"
Evan: "there are other Seed members there that need my help, you have to stay here with the mayor, after all you are the highest ranked officer here"

Evan ran out of the train and charged towards were the Elnoyle was luckily the appearance of this creature had scared off all of the inferior ones so he didn't have to battle his way there

Amelia looked out the window into the sky. "I hope they come back safe," Amelia said. She turned her mind away from the thought, and wondered if Marko was safe.
I hope he is, Amelia thought.
Marko was Amelia's childhood friend in Dollet for a long time, until Amelia left him and her family for a application to SeeDs.
Amelia got up from the chair, and went into her train bedroom to rest from all that happened.
She took one last breath, before falling to a nap.

Hebi stood atop one of the buildings to get a better look of the town, he could see monsters of all kinds running through back alleyways and large shadowed areas. In the distance Hebi saw the train and most of his fellow seed wer nearby. Hebi summoned his Halberd and raised it horizontally in front of him.

"Scion of darkness, ruling and protecting those who live in the underworld, the darkness took your heart, and in your cowardice you bound a goddes of ice to sheild yourself."

Hebi grasped his halberd like a javelin

"MATEUS! TONIGHT WE CHALLENGE THE GODS!"

His halberd began to glow with a faint blue light ass he launched it towards the sky. it pierced the clouds and created a ring in the darkness.
A large pillar of ice began to accumulate as it fell towards FH. It crashed in the center of town making all of FH rumble. There was silence after that. Hebi could already see his breath in the cold air. Hebi heard something bellow a yell in the distance. Something was coming for Hebi.

Evan arrived on-scene were the Elnoyle was and thought of a way to Kill it, but until he had a clearer idea of what it's weaknesses were then he had no other choice but to have Diablo attack it physically and hope that it did some serious damage

"Argh, what the hell is going on?"

The sudden stop of the train sent various object flying through the air, more importantly in Enigma's direction. He had been clouted in the head with a blunt object and knocked unconscious, and now he was finally coming around.

Slowly and cautiously, Enigma got to his feet and brushed the dust off of his all black attire. The heat was sweltering , it was as if they had just arrived in Hell.
He staggered over to a nearby wall and looked around the corner, gasping in disbelief. Maybe Hell would have been the better option.

Forgetting his pains, Enigma ran towards his colleagues in order to assist them. Literally seconds before he arrived to help, the Elnoyle expanded his wings and unleashed a devastating tornado in their direction.
The sheer G-force of the tornado hurled Enigma into a nearby bench and onto the ground.

"Holy crap! Yup, that definitely hurt..."

There was no sign of Amelia, the new SeeD, hopefully she was safe on the train. Was the train still working though? Enigma had no idea. No idea about anything. He didn't know what had happened to Fisherman's Horizon. He didn't know what they would do next.

(ooc: Enigma was unconscious so would not know that it was Ultemicia that did this ^^.)

Seeing his allies rally round to fight this thing made Damon have a mixture of happiness and slight anger. Why did they stay? This thing was going to slaughter them.

"Well, if you are going to stay, better be prepared for death, this thing is stronger than anything we've ever faced, I'll explain why if we survive this".

As Elnoyle unleashes his tornado attack Damon managed to dodge to the right but not entirely, Sendo was blasted from his hand and lodged into a piece of what was once a building.

With only Irkana left, he grabbed hold of one of it's oversized wings, ripping at it's weak skin it dragged the Elnoyle down but then Damon was grabbed in the Elnoyle's huge left hand and thrown into the floor a few meters away.

Diablo covered Evan from the giant Tornado attack unleashed by the Elnoyle and Evan cast thunder at it. the spell hit the creature but didn't hurt it storm clouds were beginning to appear over head "oh great it's going to rain" Evan though to himself as he unleashed a fire spell.
the rain began to fall and began soaking the battle field and everything on it. Evan dismissed Diablo as the rain would hinder his performance the Rain had soaked Evan's hair down and made his clothes heavier and harder to move in and he was beginning to worry bout how the weather would effect the others in the team

As the elnoyle sent out its wind attack, Al had to jam his sword in the ground, to say put. Barely.

Beside him, an object flew, barely 4 inches from his head.
Looking behind, be saw that one of Damon's swords had almost beheaded him.

The enloyle fell, yet, not dead.
It sent Damon rolling a few metres away

The rain started, his clothes getting completely soaked, his hair hanged heavy past his shoulders.
Al jerkerd his sword from the ground, turned and grabbed Damon's sword by the handle, and put his right foot on the wall.
With a hard jerk, the word loosened.

"Damon, Catch" Al shouted, as he threw the word back at him.
"don't let it come so close to me again" Al smiled

Al thought for a sec.
This beast, it did not take damage due to Lightning, nor from fire.

"Hm. lets see how you like light" Al smiled.
Al jammed his sword back into the ground, and let go.

Al stretched his hands out. as far as they could. And almost as he grabbed something, the light disappeared from his hands, almost as if he grabbed it.
As he brought his hands together. Darkness followed his right hand, and light the left, forming into 2 spheres in his hands.
As they became larger, and more concentrated, he just released the light sphere, and it idly hovered in the air. He took a step back with his right foot.

He leaned back, and the black sphere engulfed his hand.
Al smiled, as he used all his might, and punched the sphere of light.
The 2 spheres imploded in a flash of light.
As the light faded, there was a faded, nearly transparent marble sized sphere left.

Al's smile, turned into a grin, as he grabbed hold of his sword.

"You can not block, what you can not see" Al said, as his grin turned somewhat evil.

He took his blade, and brought it to the marble.
The marble engulfed the blade, and made it fade away.
Now, Al seemed to only hold a handle, without a blade.

Al again, took his stance, reverse grip, and a crouch.

"game on" he said to himself, as his legs pushed away.
he started running towards this new creature, that had started to gain balance again. Al did not have much time.
He got close, and with the might he had left, he stroke.

The beast screeched in pain, as a deep gash opened making its crimson red blood, leak out.

This is the secret by Al's blade, the wound would not close, it would not heal like normal.
This was a good strike, yet, hardly fatal in itself.
However, as all bleeding, over time, it will drain its stamina, and strength.

------------------------
Now, peeps, don't go 1hit kill it now ^^

Damon rose from his fall and heard Al call out to him to catch something, turning to face him, he saw his blade being thrown to him.

"Thanks Al, now lets kill this thing!"

Before he did, he noticed Al charge up some kind of magic attack, waiting for it to end he then saw Al strike it with his blade, or at least, the handle.

When Al had struck it he saw blood flow from the Elnoyle's body, seeing an opportunity to strike, Damon Ran towards the Elnoyle and hacked at it's hands, removing all of it's fingers from it's left hand. It seemed this fight was going to come to an abrupt close.

Before he could start with the right hand the Elnoyle punched him in the side, sending him into the floor again, he quickly rose and saw the Elnoyle fast approaching him.

Evan sprang into action when he saw the Elnoyle approaching Damon, he extended his arms out infront of him and cast a meltdown spell on the Elnoyle knocking it back off balance and making it fall over.
"haha this time you won't get up" Evan cast a thundara spell on the creature and then listened to it's screeches of agony, the young summoner smiled and looked at the beast. it then stood up Evan's face instantly obtained a look of shock. "WHAT HAVE I GOT TO DO TO PUT YOU DOWN FOR GOOD?"

Al had little choice, He had to halt the beast, or at least, save Damon.
He had little time as well.
He deride to go with a well known, and yet good trick.

"Feck" he said to himself, as he grabbed his sword with both hands.
"Please hit" he said in a whisper as he brought the sword over head, as if he where to chop something.
As he brought it back down, with all mis might, he released the handle. making the sword fly thought the air.
The sword span in the air, and lodged itself in the back of the creature. making it yet again, screech in pain.
however, this left Al weaponless, and he had only his magic left.
the beast, halted, and turned to Al, witch had now damaged it twice.

With hatred in its eyes, it charged Al. Al only grinned.
A wave with a hand, and 2 secret words. And it seemed as if light arrows where drawn towards Al.
but, instead of hitting him, they formed around him. And Al faded away.

this was his invisibility spell. He was not invisible per se, he is just bending light around him.

He started to flank the beast, his aim, was his sword.
As he neared its back, it was rather confused, and had started to swing its arms around.

Chance, and Al had to take it. He ran towards its back, and jumped.
The beast was luckily occupied with attacking Al's last known location. Good.

Al landed on its back, and grabbed the handle. With a quick jerk, It was again, in Al's hands.
however, now the beast knew where he was. In a jerk, it had moved around, before Al had the time to gain ground. it span around, and gave Al a bitch slap from hell.
This sent him flying, and slamming into the remnants of a nearby wall.
Where he was left hanging.
Al appeared again, as his spell faded, and his blade, which was still enchanted, fell to the ground.
Shortly followed by Al, which slammed into the ground.
He lied 2 metres from his sword.

"Cure... please..." Al managed to force out, before he blacked out.
he was damaged. luckily no broken bones. Though, he needed some curing.
Or, he would only be lying there fro the rest of the battle.

His blade, was still enchanted, since the spell was cast, and did not need to be channeled. And the beast, was now bleeding fro, the abdomen area, as well as a small hole on its back.

-As Gilgamesh-

As he arrived to the battlefield, Gilgamesh took out his fabled Excalibur and charged towards Elnoyle with a powerful strike that damaged the beast. The beast then countered by delivering a fierce punch so hard that Gilgamesh was knocked into a wall.

-As Arthvader-

As he watches through the train, the battle dosen't seem to be going in their favor. Picking up his sword, he headed towards the battlefield.

Arthvader "Amelia, I have to go now, but I'll be back. I might be able to help you with your situation later on. Take care of the mayor."

He then headed out the train, heading towards the group. Upon arriving, he noticed several people injured, including Al and Gilgamesh.

Arthvader "Al, are you okay? Phoenix, come out and heal Al."

the phoenix came out and began healing Al in the process. Arthvader then headed towards Gilgamesh, who was currently hurt from Elnoyle's attack.

Arthvader "Gilgamesh, are you alright?"

Gilgamesh "Yeah, just let me get up."

Arthvader "Are you sure you can fight back?"

Gilgamesh "Yeah, I'm sure."

Arthvader" Okay, let's go and fight!"

Artyhvader began charging his energy while Gilgamesh delays Elnoyle's attacks.

Arthvader "Everyone, I need your help. try to delay the beast long enough for me to cast this spell."

Amelia woke up with a yawn. She was sleeping for some time, not too long. She looked out the window, and saw a few people surrounding an Elnoyle.
"They STILL haven't finished him off?" Amelia grumbled. "Oh, I'll just go do my job..."
She jumped out of her bed, taking her Cancer great sword and resting it on her head, as if it was as light as a feather. She went through her room door, and walked down the hallway, reaching the entrance.
She walked through and saw the flames still blazing, but smaller than the previous ones. Amelia looked around, trying to catch an Elnoyle fingting surrounded SeeDs.
She saw one behind a not-too-distant building, and off she went, running towards it. As soon as she stopped a few paces behind the building, she used her stealth to sneak up on the Elnoyle's back.
She neared the Elnoyle, and saw that his back was turned on Amelia.
Amelia smiled mischieviously, and sneaked up behind the monster.
Amelia dropped her sword, slightly to the ground, and charged, running towards the Elnoyle's back.
She jumped, and she raised her sword in the air, swirling it around like a helicopter, and landed on the Elnoyle's back.
She stabbed it through, and the monster roared in pain. It fell to the ground, dead.
Amelia, despite the blood around her feet, dropped down from the Elnoyle's back.
She said, winking at everyone who was fighting the monster, "Well, if you needed help," Amelia started,"Why didn't ya call me over?"
Amelia took out her sword from the Elnoyle's back, spitting out more blood. "I could've finished him in 5 seconds, as you guys did it in 2 hours."

OOC: this is too much, I recommend do balance yourself out.
this was NOT an elnoyle, this thing evolved, and was WAY stronger.
------------------
Al started to wake up. rather hazy, and bad focus.
He looked up, and recognized Phoenix, who wouldn't, its a burning bird.

After a few minutes of the healing, Al could stand, though, it took enough swearing, and cursing to get balanced.
He picked up his sword, and almost fell back down in the process.
He disbanded the spell, and the blade became visible again.
And he sheathed it.

"So" he started, "what happened while I was out" he asked, while holding around his stomach with his left arm

Enigma emerged from the rubble behind the group and looked slightly worse for wear. He had been knocked unconscious, again. That made it twice in one day, two more times than he would have liked!

"Seems like you guys handled it ok..."

They all shot him a look, filled with anguish and exhaustion. Clearly the SeeD's had worked themselves to the core.
There was an uncomfortable silence engulfing Fisherman's Horizon. The small harbour town had been damn near destroyed, all because someone apparently was out for the blood of SeeD.

"So, what's our next step? We can't stay here, can we."

Eyes shifted throughout the party, there was no distinguishable leader assigned. Granted, there were instructors on this mission but Enigma had the feeling they were very much in the same situation. Lack of information, lack of support and lack of faith.

Enigma suddenly became very frustrated and couldn't keep his thoughts bottled up:

"I find it hard to believe that Balamb Garden had no idea this would happen! Cid promised us we would be safe upon arrival, and look at what's happened!"

It was a risky statement considering Enigma did not know the views of his friends and colleagues. He began to wonder if they agreed with him or not...

"Yeah" Al started in a slight pain."not only this, but we got Edea on our arse from before, and now Ultimecia. They really don't like us" Al stated, with a slight smile.

Al looked around.
"I would suggest, that we make one last sweep for survivals, now that the master is gone. Also, we should move to another town. Esthar, or Timber might be good choices" Al informed.

He didn't really care on where they went, but they should take one more sweep. it would suck to be left behind.

"I will go chug a option, or something. If not anyone would like to cast a cure spell on me" Al smiled.
This was not an order, nor an indirect hint.
he was in pain, and anyone could clearly see it.
If anyone could cure him, at least to the state where the pain was lessened. He could help in the search. If not, he had to walk back to the train, to get hold of a potion. since he used his last earlier.
