Balamb Garden

Evan saw Enigma and heard his question
Enigma: "Evan, buddy! You find anything?"
Evan looked at him as he approached "yea we found a bunch of survivors, the galbadians are behind this" he then looked at the floor and his bloodied trainers, looking back at enigma he announced "one of them bled on me" he then looked in the direction of the train station "i gotta get these survivors to the train, you comming?"
evan then turned and began walking towards the train station with the child still on his back

He wanted to help Evan with the survivors, but knew they needed to re-locate soon. They couldn't do this without that stupid barrier!

"Guys, the way I see it, we have two options.

1. Search through FH to find the power station, assuming that's where this is being generated from

2. We all take our strongest magic and knock the shit out of it

Or is there another option I'm missing?"

By now, Enigma was in the mood for some destruction, perhaps not a good trait in a SeeD.
Unfortunately, the nasty decision of where to re-locate was still lingering.

"That's our big decision we all need to agree on. Where do we go from here?
Given the choice between Esthar and Timber, I'd go with Timber.
Who's with me?"

Hebi began toying with the power console that was hooked up to Alex. He began shutting down power to the barrier starting with the northern end of town. Alex's eye kept looking Hebi up and down making him uneasy. Then Alex spoke.

" Power in the nothern district has failed, now only the train remains operable."

" That's fine, I authorized it."

" Please be careful about which decisions you m-make, fourty percent of the i-invading fiend population is still at l-l-large."

Hebi began typing faster, the barrier in the east was shut down and he was now shutting down the barrier to the west.

he thought to himself " hurry up guys , something's not right."

Amelia walked and said in front of Enigma, "I'm going to Timber," she said, as she turned around, now siding beside Enigma. "Dollet is near, so I'll be able to meet my family from there."
Amelia closed her eyes. And Marko too, She thought hopefully.
She waited for further answers from all the other SeeDs.

Evan was glancing over his shoulder at the now sleeping child and the rest of the survivors, when his eyes began to water "I can't leave them, not like this" he took a step past Amelia and Enigma "I'm staying, helping them re-build the city" he then looked at Enigma and Amelia "I'm sorry, they need me more than you guys" he began walking towards the train station and he shouted back to the survivors "cummon I'll get you to the train station, it is the one place the fiends haven't over run" as he turned around to look at them hey noticed the barrier was lowering and the creatures were approaching the Train station.
Evan: "no, this can't be!!" Evan handed the young boy to a middle aged man "hold him"
his body began to glow and Diablo smiled
Diablo: "lets do this Evan"
Evan: "i won't let you kill anymore people!!" Evan drew Diablo's power in a fit of anger and began cast triple Death's at any Fiends he could see when he ran out of Death spells he threw the Keyblade which due to it's shape had boomerang properties and came spinning back to him he caught it and ran at a group of Leopards and with 4 swings of the Keyblade they were dead. he then held the Keyblade out in front of him, holding the handle with both hands and panting heavily he announced "who's next?"

As the SeeD's were debating where to go and what to do, they seemed unaware the barrier was retracting. Well most of them were unaware, Evan was on guard as usual and it was a good job he was.

Enigma swung around to the sound of swiping metal. To his horror, and strange joy, he saw the barrier was gone.

"Hmm, Hebi must have got that power shut off. His timing needs some serious work!"

From behind Evan charged a Grendel, a quick beast with a fair amount of power. Enigma, not stopping to think, set off at full pace in the direction of the lightning-infused monster.
The Grendel leapt into the air, clawes bared and ready to attack the young SeeD, Evan. In the nick of time, Enigma threw one of his Sai in the direction of the Grendel, impaling it in the ribs, knocking it to the ground.

"Evan, we can hold off the monsters for now, you wanna help the survivors?"

Despite the barrier being down, there was no way of knowing if the train was operable or not.
What made the situation worse, was the fact that not all of SeeD was there. People such as Vegnya and Luana were still missing, and they needed to be found...

Evan saw the Grendel hit the floor with a mighty crash and one of Enigma's Sai sticking out of its ribcage,
Enigma: "Evan, we can hold off the monsters for now, you wanna help the survivors?"
Evan: "okay i will help them you make sure nothing gets past here though, I'm counting on you"
Evan sheathed the Keyblade and called to the survivors to follow him, the man returned the boy to Evan and they all ran towards the train station.

Upon arrival Evan placed the boy down in-front of the Medic and ordered him to check the boy's injuries. he then looked towards the Fiends that were approaching the Train.
Evan: "Diablo, you ready to use your overdrive?"
Diablo: "indeed i am"
Evan grabbed a radio that was patched into mega speakers just outside the Train station that could be heard throughout the City and began to speak.
Evan: "this is Seed member Evan baker, All Seed members return to the train station or get inside a building i am going to have Diablo unleash his overdrive to cleanse the city, you have 10 minutes!!"

Arthvader "Evan, don't forget about us."
Gilgamesh "Yeah, we're also here to help."

As the fiends approached closer to the train, Arthvader and Gilgamesh charged towards the fiends, hacking and slashing any fiends that poses any threat towards any survivors. Soon, he heard from Evan that he's going to have Diablo use his overdrive attack.

Arthvader "You have got to be kidding me. Gilgamaesh, let's head back to the train. Hurry now."
Gilgamesh "OK, ok, I'm on my way now. 'geesh, I can't believe this is happening in a place like this.'"

Upon arriving back at the train station,They prepared to fend off any fiends that tend to slip by.

Enigma sighed upon hearing Evan's command to Diablo.

"I just hope he doesn't take anyone out..."

The monsters appearing now were stronger than before, higher levels and harder to vanquish.
Perhaps this was a good time for Diablo to step in. Although, Enigma questioned just how much power he could have left after today's grueling battle.

A little more sting was needed in his attacks. While there was a short gap for Enigma to catch his breath, he cast one of his 6 remaining Thundara spells on his Sai to leave them crackling with electricity and energy.

"I have to question why we're still here! We've found the survivors, the barrier's down; let's go already!"

Enigma's bellowing message was directed at no one in particular, it was intended for whoever was listening.
Unfortunately he was struck by the sudden realisation that not all of SeeD's were there.

"...Shit."

Evan was stood looking over the city his arms by his side, fists tightly clenched. he reached into his bag and pulled out a green glowing potion and handed it to Diablo
Evan: "this is a GF-Hi-potion it should replenish your health"
Diablo: "Evan i can't do it unless all the Seed members have returned, you know this don't you?"
Evan: "Diablo, why do you think i gave them 10 minuets your overdrive has a high likely hood of destroying the entire city, so i gave them chance to escape, well get to the train, when they all get back you unleash your mega-graviton attack"

Hebi entered his final command into the computer and pressed send. The moniters in the room began to go haywire as he made a break for it. Running towards the door he heard an escalating beeping sound. He summoned his fan and whipped around just in time. A thick Red laser collided with his fan and drove him through a wall and out into the street. The fan blocked the laser Completely. The only trace it left was a red hot glowing circle on the backside of the steel fan. Hebi got to his feet quickly and made a run for the large pillar of ice he had summoned prior to entering the power station. He heard a loud cracking osund and turned around. The roof of the power station exploded and out of the dust a silver streak flew into the air and laded hard on the ground.

" Hebi, may I ask where it is you think you are going?"

Alex's spiderlike body crouched low to the ground and foucsed his Blood red eye on Hebi. Cables swung wildly behind him, all surging with energy. His silver steel fram glistened in the sun. He lunged foreward with a steel claw.

Hebi was too quick. He cast Aero with his fan and launched himself over the arm. When he came down he sliced the wires on Alex's right arm with the blade of the fan. Alex's Left arm quickly swung and knocked Hebi through a bench on the side of the street. Hebi struggled to get up and downed a Hi-potion. He jumped, threw the fan at Alex, and cast Blizzard while in the air. A shard of ice accumulated above Alex and came crashing down. His fan disappeared into green flames. The damage it dealt wasn't too great. Hebi crossed his arms as Alex flew into him tackling him into a telephone booth. Alex's working arm lunged for Hebi as he rolled out of the way, it lunged again and missed, the third time he luncged he clipped Hebi's arm leaving him a deep gash.Hebi sprang to his feet, the pillar of ice was a mere 20 feet at most away from them. He ran as fast as he could as he heard Alex charging to blast another laser. Hebi placed his palm on the surface of the ice. It glowed an eerie blue color and began to crack. Hebi removed his hand and snapped once. The pillar exploded into thousands of Broken ice shards and suspended themselves into the air. He looked over his shoulder and Saw Alex's eye glowing bright red. As Alex cocked back all the ice shards aimed for him. Hebi whispered something under his breath as they pierced the steel armor protecting Alex's robotic body. Alex fell foreward and his laser went off, causing a massive explosion. The hot air caressed Hebi's face as he sheilded his eyes. When the smoke cleared Alex stood there sparking and attempting to speak.

"s-s-security protocol 0-0-7-1-6-9, eraticate all t-t-threats to Fishermans Horizon. Target: Hebi Bonrii, Galbadian P-*Pzzzt!*"

Hebi wiped the blood from his mouth and spat.

"Shit."

Hebi looked towards the train but couldnt make out the two figures running toward him. Hopefully they were on his side.

The waves of enemies were becoming less and less frequent at last. The hard working SeeD's could have a well deserved 10 minute rest at least.
Enigma had no doubt in his mind that all of his colleagues would return to the train station in due course. In fact, the only doubt he had was their next destination.

Enigma sat down next to the train track and pulled out a small electrical object, slightly bigger than a mobile phone. He flipped open the top and viewed a small projected map in front of his eyes...

((ooc: apologies if it is slow, trouble uploading the damn thing :P If it isn't working at all, follow this link http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v27/Double_D/aa.gif)

He knew that Timber, logically, would be the safest place to go. There were problems though. How would they get there? Walking would take most of a day up.
Also, a large group of SeeD's walking into a small town like Timber would draw attention to them. They couldn't split up, could they?
Enigma flipped the small holographic map down and slid it back into his pocket.

Gingerly, he pulled himself up and walked towards the remaining party.

"Guys, I think the time has come where we should leave. Personally, I think we should go to Timber. Wherever we go, we're gonna have to walk by the looks of it. We can easily follow the train track but it might be a long walk. So....Who's coming with me?"

OOc: yeah. I'm sorry I was not posting in here.
I should try to be more active ^^
To be honest, Ive been lazy with the reading, so Ill just pop in here.

------------------

Al walked towards Enigma, which had just put down a cell phone looking item. and asking:

"Guys, I think the time has come where we should leave. Personally, I think we should go to Timber. Wherever we go, we're gonna have to walk by the looks of it. We can easily follow the train track but it might be a long walk. So....Who's coming with me?"

Al sat down in the rubble.
"Well. personally I feel for Timber, ironically enough, it is simpler to hide in a small town. Also it is easier to gain intel on the situation. Since small towns are more helpful" Al leaned back, and looked to the sky.

"Though, it might be somewhat unnatural for a group of Balamb Garden SeeD to wander in. I personally have no problems entering unseen" He smiled to himself. Indeed he was right, he could just go invisible, and enter at his own pace.

"Though, I'm not sure on how you will do it" he said, as he looked around, mainly at Enigma.

Al got back up, and walked over to Enigma, and say down closer.
Again leaning back. But this time, looking at Enigma.
"Well, im with you. Walking for a day, to enter Timber"

Evan looked into the train and saw all of the seed members asides Hebi "cummon hebi get your arse back here" evan looked at Diablo
Diablo: "it is now or never"
Evan: "Hebi I'm sorry, do it"
Diablo flew into the sky above FH and raised his hand into the air, a black mass decended from above him and as Diablo raised his hand into the air the black matter was absorbed onto his hand he then began pulling the black matter to the the floor when he managed to pull his arm past his shoulder he realesed the ball of black matter and threw it at FH. it created a huge explosion and destroyed most of FH.

Enigma was encouraged to hear at least one person join him, for a split second he even forgot how much damage he had taken in the last 30 minutes.

"Dammit, I hope I've got a Cure spell left..."

Cure2-1.gif

To his relief, he had enough to heal himself. Unfortunately, judging by the menu, Damon was in need of help too, but they needed to use these spells sparingly.

Enigma looked over at Al, "I appreciate you coming with me, although I didn't expect you to. The way I see it, this mission has already gone completely wrong."

He hung his head in disbelief, unable to comprehend what a mess they were in. Re-living the mess wasn't going to help anyone, and Enigma knew this.
He sprung up to his feet and looked far down the train track, in the direction of Timber. Whoever joined him was in for a hell of a walk.

"I appreciate you coming with me, although I didn't expect you to. The way I see it, this mission has already gone completely wrong." Enigma stated to Al.

Al looked towards the train tracks leading west. They just continued onto oblivion.
Al's head dips. Thats a long walk..

"well." he started towards Enigma "we are still alive. Don't be greedy. We cant get everything" Al states, as he smiles.
"It may be true that the mission is fucked. But considering the situation, I thing we are lucky." He gut up, and brushed the dust of his ass.

"The main thing we have to do, is relocate. This is far from the worst that can happen. A long walk, is nothing compared to the fact that we still live."

Al was right, they where alive. Which should be me the most important thing. And as long as they where alive, they had a chance.

"However - Now that we leave, I wonder on how delayed the contact from Cid will be" Al again had a point. After all, when he sends the message, if it is by messenger, then it will be delayed while they look for the SeeD's.
Although, If they are smart, they send it by SMS or call them.

Enigma had the utmost respect for Al, he spoke sense and was brutally honest. To have him travelling to Timber would be a major help to the situation.

He checked all of his equipment was in working order. The last thing he needed was to suddenly discover nothing worked.
Apart from his weapons being slightly scratched, understandably, everything was useable.

Despite the relief of Al coming along, Enigma still hoped that everyone would follow. Being split up would only make things complicated, but perhaps it was necessary; it was hard to tell.

VEGNYA-BECCALYN

With the bus leaving Balamb Garden without her, Becca was left waiting in anticipation for it to return.
The anticipation lasted for roughly 15 minutes, then it became apparent that the bus was not returning any time soon.

"Typical. Looks like I'll have to make my own way then."

Perhaps the bus driver assumed everyone was onboard. Maybe something happened? These kind of thoughts were rushing through Becca's head as she proceeded to the car park.
She knew that waiting around the Garden would not get her to the rest of the SeeD's, so matters were taken into her own hands.

As usual, there was a car for SeeD and Instructor use just waiting to be taken.

"I love SeeD privileges."

Moving her skirt slightly to the side, Becca gracefully stepped into the car and started the engine.
With a bellowing roar, the car pulled away and sped out of Balamb Garden in the direction of Balamb.

With the speed she was travelling, the journey was only going to take 5 minutes, tops.
2 whole minutes later, Becca arrived in Balamb.Instead of leaving the car, she instead carefully manuevered the powerful machine, towards the train station.

It was there where the car was left. Before Becca had a chance to enter the open planned station, an extremly distressed train conductor approached her.

"What do you think you're doing! Don't you know the lines are closed! There are no trains coming in and nothing going out; get lost!"

The conductor was made to regret those last two words as Becca punched him in the stomach and somehow managed to stuff him into a bin; vertically.

"Pft, idiot."

An idiot he was, but a liar he was not. The tracks were indeed closed and the trains were not moving at all.
Initially, this caused a problem, but within seconds Becca had hatched a risky plan. It involved herself, the train tracks, and the car.

Evan was stood at the entrance of the FH train station looking over the damage to FH he raised his right hand to the back of his hand and began scratching it. he looked at Diablo "have you got stronger?" Diablo looked down at him and smiled "indeed i have" Kira smiled and returned his shocked gaze to the remains of the city "kinda lucky it worked then, aint we" he stopped scratching his head, dismissed Diablo and walked towards Enigma
Kira: "so what do we do next?"

Kira: "so what do we do next?"

"That's really up to you, Kira. You can join myself , Al and Amelia, we're going to Timber. Or, you can go to Esthar. You know what I think is best, but hell, I'm not the leader."

In his heart, Enigma wanted everyone to follow him to Timber. It was safer and would give them ample time to figure out what their next step would be.

The air around Fisherman's Horizon was cold and fresh. There was a slight breeze and a feeling of uncertainty within the group. Enigma hated this kind of atmosphere.

"Look, I can't wait here for much longer. We need to re-locate and we need to do it soon. Personally, I don't think there's any harm moving in separate party's. As long as we can keep in touch via phone, we should be fine."

Enigma pulled the collar of his jacket up to surround his neck, he always liked to keep his cool persona intact.
After a brief salute, Enigma turned away to face Al and Amelia.

"We ready to go then?"

Al'umar's wounds had completly healed now.
his stamina was getting better. And overall energy was getting better.
Enigma seemed to have healed himself. And a few was ready to go.

Al hoped that most, if not all, would join them.
this was off course, their choice.

"I'm ready" Al replied to Enigma.
There was not much more he could do in this situation. Just hope that they wouldn't get attacked on the way.

"Just say the word" he assured Enigma with a forced smile.
