"Speak. Why have you come here, my son?"
Leon was surprised. Spending most of his life in the lesser areas of town Leon really had no idea what the Maesters were like. In his mind he had always pictured them as very distant, un-empathetic men. Now this one was actually willing to speak with him. He looked the Maester up and down. Swathed in a dark blue robe, he looked grand. He glanced down at the Maester's hand. Bandaged.
Realising that he had been standing there for a while not saying anything, Leon suddenly looked up at the Maester's face. At once he noticed the eyes. They were different coloured. Leon pulled his gaze away. "I need...errr..." His eyes wandered once again to those of the Maester's. Come on, concentrate. This is serious He thought.
"Maester, I need your help. It is my wish to become a Guardian of a Summoner who would seek to destroy Sin. I know you are of higher rank than Summoners. Please, let me become a Guardian. I must."

Seth stared on at Bellicus. What is he thinking? thought Seth. To threaten to kill a maester of Yevon! This may bring unexpected trouble to our group... Seth wondered what Bellicus could be thinking. He decided to confront Bellicus about the manner. Seth walked past Rene and came from behind the fallen tree. He walked up to Bellicus and asked in a stern voice, "Is it true that you intend to kill a maester of Yevon?"

Many would assume that Faith was sleeping peacefully in the chamber. She had done for the first few hours or so. However, there came a nightmare that had returned to haunt her very existence. It was the nightmare in which she was still living in Bevelle with her uncle. Her uncle had been taking care of her, but he would soon be leaving on his pilgrimage. "Keep your chin up and hold your head high," he smiled, as he told her these things. "Who knows? One day, you might follow in my path."
Days after he had left, Faith was in the Bevelle temple being looked after by the monks and nuns. She had no idea where her uncle was and assumed that he would return in the next few weeks. But one fateful night, a night with loud thunder heard and lightning to be seen, a man had tried to kidnap Faith. There was no reason behind it. Had it not been for the guardians of the temple, then who knows what would have happened? His face came to her mind ... and that was when Faith awoke with a start panting. "Just ... just a dream," she whispered, staring blankly at the ceiling and lying back down.

IC: Rene realised that Bellicus hadn't noticed him yet so he ran after him to confront him hopefully more successful the Seth he ran into the hut just after Bellicus and asked loudly "Just what the hell do you think you're doing! If you kill a maester you won't only be putting your life at risk but most probably Faiths! I won't let you do that! You'll tell Faith everything back at the village tonight or tommorow I don't care when you just will! I don't even wanna hear your reasons to kill a maester!" And with that he walked out and said to Seth "C'mon lets head back to the village Faith should have woken up by now. Tonight will be our last night of freedom before we start this journey it's our job to protect Faith and I won't let Bellicus do anything that might harm her! You agree with me right?" Before he could even answer he walked toward the path that lead to the village hoping Seth would catch up to tell him his answer.

Wullfe: (There are no accidents... This meeting must have been fate. For him to want to be a guardian...)
::His mind made up, he answers the stranger.::
Wullfe: "Being a Guardian is a trying occupation. You must protect the life of your charge, your summoner with your own. If need be, you will have to die so they can live..."
::Wullfe approaches the man and places his hands firmly on his shoulders.::
Wullfe: (This man, he will unwittingly aid in my conquest to rid myself of Bellicus.)
Wullfe: "If you are prepared in mind, spirit and body, then come with me. I am on way to see a certain summoner. If she consents, then you can become one of her Guardians."
::Wullfe releases the man and places his hood over his head, hiding his features.::
Wullfe: "I will give you my support, and do what I can to see you become a Guardian. However, remember, it is the Summoner who decides your fate..."
::Not waiting for an answer, Wullfe heads off to gather supplies for his task.::
Wullfe: (I know he'll follow me, that man... He has old eyes... they're wise beyond his years...)
::Wullfe stops for a moment, and looks to Eidolon.::
Wullfe: (And he's brimming with inner strength... He'd make an excellent Guardian, Faith willing...)
Wullfe: "I'm known as Maester Wullfe..."
::Wullfe waits patiently to hear the name of his new traveling companion...::
Kamui went out into the air of Besaid, looking up at the night sky, to the full moon and the stars... the last moment of peace, the last moment of freedom, the last moment of safety, and the last moment of recur, *sigh* "we begin tommorrow," said Kamui, "so everything begins," Kamui looked into the temple, "I hope your happy now, it might be the last time that you can, but then again, i might be wrong," said Kamui
He walked back inside the temple, and leaned against the door to the room in which Faith was sleeping, crossed his arms, and fell asleep, i will guard her as one of her guardian's.
He remembered being washed up on the shores of Besaid 12 years ago, i knew that Faith was going to become a summoner and sacrafice her life, he accepted that, even though he didn't wish it, he didn't say anything, he wouldn't say anything because he knew that her will was strong, and it would just annoy her if he had tried to convince her... "All that i can do is see what happens," he whispered before he fell asleep.

Hundreds of thoughts came streaking through his mind. Who was this summoner? Where was she? Where were they going? How? and importantly Why is he helping me?
The last of these questions puzzled Leon greatly.Leon had never met Wullfe before, yet it seemed that he would do a great deal to allow him to succeed. To him I am nothing more than a street urchin...or am I? Perhaps he sees something in me... This thought that he might be special was a pleasant one. Leon could imagine it now, him, saving Spira, along with this Summoner and her other Guardians. This happy feeling drove out any suspicions Leon had of the Maester's intentions.

IC: "I'm not sure yet maybe we shouldn't tell faith... well not yet at least maybe we should just keep an eye on him for now" They'd made it to the village and rene looking around noticed that faith was still asleep and everyone was waiting for her to wake up. He considered going into her room to wake her up but thought that Kamui would go mental at him if he was gonna wake her he'd need to sneak past Kamui "I'll see ya later Seth i'm gonna go wake faith she doesnt need to overrest or she be even more tired tomorrow" he ran off to create a diversion to get Kamui away from faiths chamber door

IC: That kid never seems to slow down, Seth thought. Or maybe I'm just becoming an old man... He felt as though that invisible tether was pulling at his waist again. He chased after Rene but this time he decided that he would stop him. Seth believed that Lady Faith should not be woken in the middle of the night just for this matter. Telling her this may only hinder the up coming pilgrimage. And, to tell the truth, he was he was pretty curious to see what Bellicus will do.
Seth grabed Rene's shoulder and said to him, "I do not believe we need to tell Lady Faith about this matter right now. The pilgrimage will start soon and this information will only bring distracting thoughts for Lady Faith. As guardians, it is our job to protect her and to make this journey as easy as possible for her. We will keep this information to ourselves, Rene, and we will also keep an eye on Bellicus together, so Lady Faith will not have to worry."

OK before I post about how I obtain the Chocobos can you just tell me how they are usually obtained in Spira, cause I have no idea. I don't want to go off on a rant about how I got one and make it completely unrealistic.

Kamui woke, he looked around the chamber and saw Seth sitting in one of the corners of the chamber, he must be keeping guard, Kamui thought, he is another of Faith's guardians after all.
He walked over, and saw uncertaintiy, what was Seth uncertain of, the pilgramige? the fact at what happens at the end? or something else...
Kamui tried to wake Seth up, "What is the matter Seth?" Kamui asked outloud, nicely though, "And what does it have to do with Faith?"

IC: Rene thought he might as well go to bed if everyone else is he hadn't realised that everyone else had gone by the time he snapped out of his trance. He put his hands behind his head and leant on a pillar looking up at the stars, it was very quiet but peaceful and very scary at the same time. Rene did this quite often to remember his parents so he'd never forget them he could still remember the day they were killed, sin had come to bevelle he attacked the stadium first his sinspawn had killed nearly everyone in the stadium except a few including rene, sometimes he wondered about his friend who was predumed dead but no one found his body and he wasn't in the list of casualities he racked his brain night after night trying to figure out his name then it came to him it was a guy called Leon he wondered what ever happened to him knowing leon though he'd be on a warpath to kill sin "just like me" rene said to himself he was getting tired so he called it a day checked in on Faith then went to bed

She supposed many people would want to talk to her. After all, summoners had once been a forgotten page in history. Now that Sin had returned, summoners were rare in Spira. It hadn't been so long since the fayth had granted summoners the power to have aeons. She did remember her uncle being one of the first summoners to defeat Sin ...
She rose to her feet and rubbed the back of her neck. She felt somewhat sore, but wouldn't let it bother her for now. What was important to her now was to enjoy her last night of freedom before she would devote her entire time to the pilgrimage. Faith walked out of the chamber with a bright smile on her face and walked over to Kamui. "Is everything all right?" she asked. "I'm just going to go outside and sit around the village fire. Care to join me?"
