Dream job(s)

I think currently...my dream job would that of a poet. I don't claim to be no Edgar Allan poe or anything, but I've been told i have some really creative and good stuff. But seeing as how it's a lil tricky to live off of just poetry, it might have to be a thing i do from time to time or something.

I'd really enjoy being a Japanese translator for businesses, seeing how I've always loved Japanese Culture and wanted to visit Japan since i was around 13 or so.

I have a few. My first would be being a Starting Quarterback for an NFL team. That will never happen, LOL. Another would be some sort of SportsWriter, since I love Sports and love to write. The job I have always wanted and am currently taking classes for would be being a Police Officer. I have always wanted to be one, and I have a feeling I will end up being one, the only thing that makes me lean from this job is the pay not being so high. There are tons of other dream jobs but these are all I can think of right now.

I'd love to work in International Diplomacy, or for the UN.

Yes, I'm a geek.

[Mod Edit: could you try to add a little more effort in to posts like this, in the future? What attracts you to that field of work, for example? Thanks. :)]

'Starchitect'

:monster:

I'd love to work as someone who helps build the world, in different countries, while not attracting too much attention to himself like politicians or celebrities. I'm already stocking up on languages, and am polishing my design skills for schools, so I'll say I'm already on track for it. I just have to sort out if I have the passion for architecture that is required of every participant in the field.

Wow I thought I wrote in this already. XD

I intended to update my dreams but it seems I never had any. XD

Well since starting work in the pharmacy this year I've really really been keen on the idea of becoming a Pharmacist.

I know it's going to be a lot of hard work and that I'll probably be the luckiest person alive to get accepted considering I never did the subjects in year 11 or 12 and never got an OP score, but it's worth a shot.

I mainly did TAFE courses in highschool thinking I'd never want to go to Uni. Dumbass I was. XD

Anyway I shall update this with good news if my dream comes true. XD

This is going to sound ridiculous

But Id love to be a traffic warden, or better still, Mark gaev me the FANTASTIC idea of working in an STI clinic, how utterly FANTASTIC would that be. I cclearly thrive off making people feel awkward or uncomfortable...... jhow lovely am I

Either that, or in demolishion, getting PAID to break things is my idea of heaven

Ive never had no fancy notions of being a surgeon or working or a top maazine or out like that, it's just not me, so while my 'dream' jobs are boring and mundane, I'd love them xD

I'd love to be a guitarist in a late night talk-show band. Just rock a few cover songs for 90 minutes a day and you'd get to meet any and everyone. It would also leave enough free time and provide the neccessary capital to pursue other musical projects on the side. Serously, I could've steped right in and do Kevin Eubanks job.

I'd absolutely love to be a Chef - more specifically start my own catering business. I spend a good chunk of every weekend cooking anyway.

I apologize for reviving a semi-dead topic but I really wanted to post here...

I've been lucky enough to actually work one of my dream jobs. I was a Lead Game Master for the Online MMORPG Ghost Online as well as an assisting GM (Game Master) for the game Hero Online. It was by far the most fun and enjoyable job I'd ever had the pleasure of having. I was given the opportunity to bring joy to people as well as be a sort of police officer with banning. Sadly, I was laid-off a few months back as the company moved their US office to another country.

My new dream job would be to be a mother.

I noticed someone mention that they'd like to work at Square Enix. My Husband was offered a job there a good while back but it was quite a distance (we were residing in Southern California at the time and SE was located approximately 3 hours North of us).
He ended up not accepting the position and we moved back to Pennsylvania...

Being a prosecutor. I'd like to feel I'm making a difference to society and tackling the whole liberal 'be soft to criminals' issue (not that I could directly do anything. I'd probably be disbarred after abusing judges XD). A political career on the side (or after the disbar XD) would be nice too I guess...but maybe not for any of the current major players :S

Any job that makes the client the boss (within reason) and lets me pick when to not be lazy is my dream job.

That, or any job working in a company surrounded by a gaming environment.

I know you said you wanted to be a graphic designer before, but how 'bout game artist?

I want to be a web site designer. :3 I've always loved putting together websites, just never running them. I think I'm pretty good with graphics and such so it would be nice to do that. :)

I want to finally finish my progressive album and tour as a respected original composer with my indulgent brand of progressive grunge.

Go Indulgence!

I just thought of another dream job. I'm sure it exists but probably offers low income, so it might be a secondary job. I would like to interview and write articles of previews of rpgs games based off of game developer interviews.

I usually stand very on the fence with most of the game reviews I write, but I would love to report on games that have never been released and are going to be big.

For instance Square Enix, I wouldn't mind asking their approach and angles at the newer Final Fantasies as compared to the pixelated stuff we saw prior to FFVII. I really want to know how they are going to move here with the next installments (FFXIII and Versus and so on).

RPG are all about the story and characters for me, and so this would be very interesting for me.

Id love to be an author, doesnt matter if I get to JK Rowlings style. Id be happy just walking into a book shop and seeing my book in the chart lol! Or a profiler like in Criminal Minds!

Oh, I'd definitely love to be an author and/or writer. I'd love to be able to write a brilliant series, see it in the shop like you do and even have it adapted into the big screen. Other than that, I so want to write for television. Nowadays, it's rare for me to come across anything profound and extraordinary that I'd love to show my creativity and see how people react to my writing.

My dream job... like the past couple of people, I also want to be an author... and an English teacher. I just reading, and writing. If I could do these two things, I don't think there would be many points in my life that I would be unhappy.
