Eureka Academy: Exitium {S/D}

Personally, I'd prefer it to be either easily negated with a long incantation since you are bringing it from another realm with those effects. But that's my opinion.

How long of an incantation? Ten minutes? It must be long enough for opponents to react. And I'd prefer a necessity for complete concentration. An ability that just sweeps enemies away isn't really all that fair. But as long as it's got heavy consequences it should be fine.

Was thinking something more along the lines of one of the high level kido in Bleach. You know its like 10-15 lines long.

lines? Nah not gonna cut it :hmmm: Then again you could keep the lines and add in a nice physical consequence. Yesss i think that would do nicely. if it's too much trouble you could rewrite it as a totally different ability? But essentially it's like Selphie having access to her 1 hit kill spell at all times. That's too much power for someone who's just a house head in my opinion.

Considering he's only 3 stars? It's gonna be awhile before he gets to that. Or at least that's what I'd be assuming if I read the way you're handling star ranks correctly.

Is it really so much to ask? I just went through the trouble of skimming through every approved bio so far and the ONLY other mention of a one hit kill as a last move is neither confirmed to be a 100% accurately flat out kill AND includes the extreme price of costing the user exhaust of all magical energies(The character is magical based). I did this to make sure that I was being fair and not just singling you out. Now from what I've gathered your character has enough power already with all of his abilities causing absolutely NO setbacks whatsoever(At least every other bio I've checked has some setbacks or at least 1). Now I think I'm being completely fair with my request.

It doesn't matter how he ranks on the star leveling system. I can confirm that your reading level is efficient and your understanding clear, however I'd like all characters to have a fair fighting chance whether it be with NPC created monsters or against each other. In my opinion I'm not asking too much of you. I'm actually being a big lovable pushover instead of just dismissing the character entirely. If you feel that it's too much to change that one ability and add restrictions then this roleplay probably isn't the right one for you. :hmmm:

Hmm, perhaps you're right. Enough people fail at Basic Cata Rule #1 that I'd be an idiot to expect it from anyone. I'll work up something... more appropriate.

EDIT: There you go, more knowledge about hell. (the bio was edited)

Thank you Gavin that version of the ability is much better. :ryan: He's accepted.

Jack is also accepted as well.

And Shuce teachers aren't exactly needed, but it kind of helps a bit. ^_^ You have the option of being a Magia, Arma, or Dominus teacher. Magia and Arma subjects are easier and straight forwards as the classes they teach are strictly magic or weapons based. Dominus teaching is a bit trickier since the teacher will have to teach a bit of both and tailor their students one on one sometimes to be able to bring out the potential in all students in Dominus house and their unique abilities. Other teachers can just teach math or english, or battle strategies, whatever. I hope that helped. ^.^

No no no. Quiet noblesse. You and yur battle strageties. >.>

I'm pretty sure Kevin could write essays on battle strategies. xD But you're already battle overseers. It's kinda the same thing only watered down and tailored to missions. :yay:

thank god i ceded that spot to kev. I can imagine him going bonkers if i went and gave my crummy "strategies"

Btw, heads up. Turns out i needa go into more detail with one of my bios, so its goona be taking longer than expected

So... peanut gallery time. When will the rp start?

I was thinking Friday of next week. :hmmm: Or sometime next week so that this doesn't become too forgotten. Besides I'm finishing up an RP on another forum soon so I should have plenty of time for EA focusing. ^_^

hm... better kick into overgear and finish them off. I seriously have had enough time, but i keep fluffing about, particularly when searching for pictures. I keep going off tangent >.>

*sigh* You know what, I'm going to just stay with Elaine only for now. College has a knack for sapping the creative process from me and I still need that for a bunch of RP's including SFR which I should be posting right now, but keep putting off. -__-

Well, here is Delijah. Hanzel should be up by tomoz. Cannot believe these two took so long

Name:
Delijah Fei

Age:
14

Title:
Disciplinary Committee Enforcer, Pocket Berserker, Firecracker #1, Shorty/ Kid/ Little Tyke #1.

House Study:
Dominus and Arma House

Appearance:

warrior.jpg

Delijah is a young girl from the orients. Her facial features and body size all give her a very young, childish air. Her height only reaches 146 cm and she is as light as a feather at 45 kg. Delijah's hair is a dark ash gray and has been let to grow until it is just above the floor when standing upright. Framing her face are two tassels of hair that reaches her jaw line while her fringe is loose and scattered with a small bunch that sweeps to the right from the middle. The structure of her face is more rounded and her eyes are large, round and innocent looking. Above her eyes are a pair of thin arching eyebrows, which complements her face rather well. However, Delijah always arch them down in a slight frown as she attempts to be serious. Her body is slim, slight and petite, almost like a doll, which belies her internal strength. Her small size makes her head appear large, making her more adorable, cute and doll-like, much to her dismay. Along with the slimness, her body is much more flexible, and naturally very efficient in converting movement energy and power. Thus, even without a muscly body, her strength is quite something and not something to be sneezed at.

Delijah's clothing is her oriental, dark, ash gray four piece. It consists of an upper torso long vest, where it reaches from the neck down to the waist, before it splits into two with it becoming something like a skirt with two side splits. On her legs are a pair of knee length pants with black lace decorations at the end. Similarly, on her arms are two forearm covers that are the same colour that flare out at the wrist and have the same black lace coverings as the pants. Her footwear is a pair of simple black kung fu shoes. On top of the whole set is her black
long Gakuran with a red armband across her left biceps with the words "Disciplinary Committee" in gold. On the flip side of the Gakuran is white silk lining with a black and gold dragon stitching.

Personality:

Through a whole life of being treated as a child, Delijah had turned serious, straight and mature....or attempts to in any case. She is naturally a childish and innocent girl, no matter how much she puts up her front. Her facade is very fragile as she is easily tempted out of it just by the sight of something she likes, something someone says or just by her own carelessness or lack of concentration. For example, if she was in serious mode and walk by a cute animal, she would subconsciously run to it and play with it and act like a child before realising what she was doing, which she then tries to cover up. Her small size and lack of growth has caused a complex she has when in the presence of her peers. Since she lacks physical maturity, her mental maturity must make up for it. That is what she thinks.

Suffice to say, she can become feisty and a little firecracker should she get serious. This is the only part of her which she finds hard to suppress. Hot blooded is what she is known for. When in this mode, her favourite line appears to be 'GUTS!". Those that don't watch out can get their hands burnt by her. This stubbornness and recklessness is very reminiscent of a child. In certain situations, she can be childish and rather competitive, which all the more betray her mental maturity.

Weapons:
Delijah's weapons are a pair of pole arms and her fists. Her main pole arm is her spear (image above), named Yatagarasu. It is about 180 cm tall and rather heavy since it is made of mysterious metal that is flexible and bends like bamboo, but is as strong as any steel. All over the pole are intricate designs of Asian writing scriptures. It is given to her by her master and is a treasured heirloom that many marital artist sought after, under the belief that it is blessed by the gods, is indestructible and stays forever sharp. Even after aeons since its forging, the carving still appears to be freshly etched without a scar of combat along its length. The fancy steel ribbon behind is also a potential weapon as the gray thing at the back is a hard steel weight. It can be used like a chain and sickle. Also, it allows her to launch her spear a fair bit and use the ribbon to reel or jerk it back in quickly.

A second pole arm can be wielded simultaneously, although this can be anything of sufficient length. Usually, it would be
Kamaitachi
, a naginata-like weapon. Its height is similar to Yatagarasu and its strength is about the same. The shaft and blade is blood red while the haft connecting points and the pommel is silver. It is extremely similar to the Yatagarasu in many ways, in that it is flexible with runic etchings. However, it lacks the heavy weight at the end of the ribbon, but instead, the thin blade can lash out like a whip in the fashion of a whip sword.

Both are carried around by the small Delijah, either by hand or one slung across her back. Mostly, she uses only one, but both could be used together. However, when she carries then, she totters slightly due to their combined weight and with the turned off state of her ability, it appears comical that a small child is carrying weapons that much larger than her.

Skills/Abilities:

The telltale sign of when Delijah is using her skills is when a flame appears in front of her left eye. The colour of the flame determines which skill is in use and the ferocity and size of the flame determines the strength and power of the skill active. When more than one skill is active, the flames both simultaneously appear above her left eye, but doesn't mix. In more exteme cases, flames can appear before both eyes.

1. Brute Strength
It is as it is said.
Brute strength is achieved when she gets past a certain level of seriousness. Its effect is proportional to her emotions, hence a small level fight would wield less strength then a full blown war battle. In essence, the larger the fight, the stronger she becomes, strength-wise. The tell tale sign of the power level is the intensity of the royal blue flame that appears at her left eye. The larger the flame, the more power there is at her disposal.

2.
Chi Strike
The basis of any martial arts is the use of Chi. By concentrating one's inner energy into a strike, Delijah can perform feats such as perform attacks that can bypass objects unscathed, internal structural damage, harden one's body and increase power of short range strikes. At this level, her attacks aren't one hit kills nor deal heavy critical damage. They hurt, particularly if they are perfectly executed direct hits and she can damage walls with frightful efficiency. Chi strike is most effective when used in tanget with kung fu like Tai Chi and Bai Ji Quan. Each subsequent skill unlock, the further Chi Strike is developed, where she can incorporate them not only on her body, but onto her weapons, increase the range and the damage done. At a higher level, she can bring down larger buildings and increase destructiveness. As the strikes require concentration and projection of a high degree, it has to be willed and formed before it can be used, making it an active skill. When activated, a purple flame appears

3.
Steel Skin
This ability complements with Explosive Nature. Delijah has a passive skill in that her skin becomes like steel. It is a reactionary ability that is separate from her own mind. It activates on its own whenever an attack nears her, changing that section that would receive the blow to steel. That said, only her skin becomes as such. Force still travels through her. Swords, arrows, bullets, flame, cutting wind spells become almost nullified. However, blunt attacks, melee hand to hand, throws, ice, water, earth are not. In essence, anything that pierces, cuts, explodes or slashes becomes useless while anything that hits with blunt force works. Temperature is not affected, however. The fire is coloued silver and last for as long as it is active. Even after the effects has dissipated, it lingers for a few seconds

4.
Explosive Nature
The other complimentary half with Steel Skin. Through will, she could turn any part of her body into explosive and cause an explosion. Her body does not explode, per se, but through thought and will, she can manipulate her cells to create an explosion from "nothing". However, this is a close quarter ability, requiring contact, either through her own body, her weapons, or anything solid that connects herself to the opponent, such as the ground, buildings if they both touching. It is almost instantaneous if its through the weapon. The only warning is a blinding glow of the weapon/body part a split second before the explosion. When transferring the explosion across a distance via a solid medium, a trail of electrical light blaze up after where the explosion is. Therefore, it is possible to track the attack, albeit somewhat hard as it is very fast. Due to the nature of the attack, the only way Delijah could survive these moves and explosion is via her third ability. The colour of this ability is orange.

5.
Thrust
Thrust is a skill move in which Delijah speeds up her movement for a very short moment to perform a series of thrusts that are close to simultaneous. Almost exclusively used with Yatagarasu, Delijah launches what is in essence, a wall of thrusts in a large two meter diameter circle in front of her, capable of boring a perfect hole through a wall in an instant. When activated, an emerald flame appears.

6. Hair Manipulation
An odd skill for Delijah is her ability to manipulate her long, flowing hair. No other hair on her body can be manipulated but those that are on top of her head. It can be almost treated like limbs on their own. Her strength in manipulation can, at most, let her hair be split into two to hold onto one sword in each part or hold onto one of her pole arms. In addition to being able to be used as hands, Delijah can similarly manipulate the cells and structure of her hair, giving her the ability to use her hair as a whip, stiffen them up into spikes and bend and shape them into shapes. Most of her offensive capabilities are active skills, meaning Delijah has to will them for it to happen. However, smaller everyday action are more subconscious based. In fact, due to her rather straight forward nature, Delijah's hair often act in correspondence to her mood. When active skills occur, a yellow flame appears.

7.
Winged Platform
Whilst not exactly winged, its namesake came from the idea that it is a floating foothold. A basic skill which grants Delijah increased mobility via materialising a floating sigil in which she can step off of and launch herself with her brute strength. There are four sigil types in total, each denoting strength and duration. The first one (bottom left) is strong enough to just allow Delijah to step off of with maybe a second to spare before it dissipates. It is the most common one that she uses. The second one (top right) can last for at least 30 seconds. Whilst the weight it can hold is two people, it is still not recommended as movements and force do increase the force acted on the sigil. The third (top left) lasts for at least five minutes and is large enough to support five people for that duration, with movement taken into consideration. Used as an emergency platform for herself and others to rest for a short period. The last one (bottom right) is the most complex of them. Capable of supporting in excess of up to 20 people in full out combat, the area it covers is as big as two basketball court. In this platform, she is unable to perform any other skills besides normal melee attack and Steel Skin will wear her out and reduce duration time. It is more a support skill for group battles. A white flame appears whenever she uses the ability.

8. Two Section Guan (as in staff) .
The Two Section Guan is really a weapon property skill in which both Yatagarasu and Kamaitachi's ribbons are connected together, linking the two pole arms as one weapon. Usage is pretty much similar to how a nunchuck is used. The only difference is that the pole arm tether length is not static. Whilst it stays at 1.5 meters by default, Delijah can extend and retract the length in combat by will and even lock the ends together. Sending one end flying, Delijah can make the tether keep extending until it loses all momentum. In a way, this can also be used as a grappling hook of sort should Delijah want it to. During the duration the skill is in effect, a red flame appears

9.
Summon Arcane Swords
Arcane swords are large magical swords, coated in fire, that Delijah summons to her side. They are 250 cm in total length and number in four. They float around her and are telepathically connected to her mind. This does not mean she has telepathy. It is only these swords. When not directed, they hover around her in a circle and will not attack automatically. They will, however, react to projectiles and move to intercept. Whilst automated in that sense, they aren't too fast in resetting, so a sufficiently heavy barrage would result in some leaking through. When controlled, Delijah can move them in a 360 degree circle around her or launch them and are much faster to reset after a strike and in its movements. For better control, it is advised to use her hands to guide, she is still as good without it. She can actually wield them in her hand, but Delijah much perfers her own pole arms. These Arcane Swords can also be used as a shield, its effectiveness increases as the stack upon each other. Red flames appear when the swords are summoned

10.
Channel Mode
Channel Mode is a short duration skill in which limiters are released for a brief period in which Delijah can overcome stamina and endurance limit in terms of skills. It is close to an activation of all skills in which without a worry of cast time nor skill limitations, Delijah can launch skills after skills in very quick succession. An example of such is that Chi Strikes require very minimalistic concentration to materialise and project whilst her hair splits into four and its strength multiplies, being able to wield heavy objects without trouble. Her own physical traits are increased. Channel Mode can only be active for a short period of time and comes with a heavy cost. At the end of the duration, all strength is sapped from Delijah. She would only have the strength to hobble around, requiring a short period of time to recover enough strength to rejoin the fight. However, she is unable to use skills past level four for the rest of the time she is in combat until she receives medical attention. When activated, the flame above her eye becomes a wild splash and combination of colours.

History:
Delijah was born an orphan, but her story isn't sad and soppy. Instead, she was given to her Aunt and Uncle to take care of after her parent's death. She was doted on due to her cuteness and obedience, but following after family traditions, she under went martial arts training under her parent's master. Regardless, she still grew up rather sheltered, her childish nature remained unchanged. Delijah wasn't spoiled, but she was rather attached to dolls, frills and cartoons. She never realised her own childishness until when she began to attend school. At fourth grade, her fellow students began commenting and teasing her peculiar penchant for not "growing up" and letting go of her liking for cartoon, toys and in generally, kiddy stuff. It was all in good nature, but it still shocked her. Delijah went crying in confusion to her adoptive parents, who obviously comforted her, telling her to ignore them and be as she is. The comforting was not enough and she could not quite stand being perceived as immature. This was made even worse when she skipped two grades the next year, where she really was younger than everyone. Her peers literally treated her like a child, fussing and fawning over her, which only served to further compound her complex. From then on, Delijah began to put up her wall of maturity, becoming more stiff, serious and "mature", scoffing at everything she once loved. Her physical prowess did help her in this aspect, but these attempts at trying to be taken seriously only served to make her seem more cute. Most people amuse her and play along.

Even with her new perspective, it was at best, a semi success as she slip back into her old self too often for her liking. People knew she was a kid at heart, but by the time she got past primary school, no one really cared and most accepted her for who she is.
In her own heart, it had sunk into a habit, and such, she would subconsciously do things to make herself appear more mature, such as joining the Disciplinary Committee. However, she more often than not, act contrary to the image she tries to portray.

One of the major highlight of her life up until now was meeting a certain girl named Hanzel. She was of the same size and stature as herself, but the one thing that is crucially different is that Hanzel has no qualm about indulging on her likes, which just so happens to be similar to Delijahs. Delijah had mixed feelings towards the girl. At her core, it is of jelousy, envy and connection. She had found someone that is just like her. However, Delijah's own personal walls, built up over time, were hard to break and instead, she had shown comical disdain and slightly condescening tone, but simultaneously, Deijah also shows a covered interest in their common interests. While it may appear they both butt heads and argue whenever they meet, anyone with an eye and a brain can see that its less antagonistic and more childish schoolyard relationship, like that of a rival.

Badge Color:
Black

Badge Image:

To her eternal embarrassment, Delijah's school ID used what she believes to be a rather childish and unflattering picture of her. One that may give people the "wrong" impression. She was unable to take the photo the day the ID's were made. Upon request from the school, her family sent them this photo of her during the family reunion photo.
