*Eureka Academy*

Elaine saw the familiar individual throw off 6 knives, thrown in such a fashion that it would be hard to dodge. After all, he was a former student, so it comes with the territory.

Elaine, seeing that he tried to make the attack unavoidable, decided to dodge anyway, jumping as high as she could to avoid the attack. She saw Escaflowne come into the room with her nodachi Touhou, attempting to lock swords with the man.

Elaine landed on the ground, avoiding the attack with only but a small scratch from one of the knives, quickly placing her arm under her bed, Elaine pulled out her chain whip, and began twirling it in her hand, ready to disarm and/or subdue her opponent.

Stella grabbed her metal rod and sharpened the ends using metal manipulation. As she did so s large number of Diaga students had her surrounded, but as this happened Raistlin had come to be involved.

"Oh glorious leader, it is very nice to see you this fine morning. Sadly, we're surrounded by enemies, so that kind of messes this up, and somewhat pisses me off. Let us hold the perimeter, shall we? Got a strategy? We could really use one about now."

"Nice one Raist. I suppose you were looking for Krell? I think he's kind of busy at the moment. We had a talk last night about what to do. So my options for you: give them hell. Some of the staff are coming to guard this spot."

At this Stella swept the floor with her metal rod, creating an earthquake on the ground only below the Diaga students. She then proceeded to bash each student atop the head in a swift manner until each was knocked unconscious. "Now, follow me. I'll take you to the place you need to go. Knowing Krell he's probably busy somewhere." spoke Stella as she headed towards the staircase.

With various taps in the brick of the side of the staircase wall a door swung open and it revealed steps leading to the lower levels of the school.
"Well, you coming?"

Raistlin watched as the few remaining ones on the beach were taken care of. A rather quick and direct manor, Raistlin was impressed. He would have taken his time and had a bit more fun, but he supposed that it was no time for fun. Proficiency in this case is where it was at.

"I suppose I'm ready, but first..." Raistlin then clapped his hands together, and intricate designs covered the space in front of him, twisting and turning almost like gears in a complex fashion. The symbols inside being letters of the old Ancient language. Once they were done, a black hole appeared, and Raistlin stuck his arm in, and pulled out his Scythe.

The Scythe being as tall as him, everything but the black obsidian blade twisted, where the blade curved perfectly. "Once I'm done there, I will not be able to perform major spells, such as the ones I fight with without coughing up blood. I'll fight with this instead," he smiled as he spoke. No one had ever seen the Scythe before, his Father wouldn't be pleased, but that only made him love the sight of it more. "Let's make haste, ladies," he said, with a gleam in his eye and a smile on his face.

Darkness Nova

"Nor will you."

A blade slashed, and caught his own blade in the process of being drawn. The General sighed, watching as his opponent drew a chain whip from under her bed.

"So it seems that my plan is being rushed.... you, too, Escaflowne, shall not leave."

The General's hand moved behind his back, before gripping the katana's sheath and twisting away, the sheath coming away from his back and the katana fully drawn. Leaving his opponent standing there, The General continued to twist, bringing his katana in a low arc to strike Elaine in the stomach.

"You will fall... And then you will be used to draw in her."

Elaine saw the man twist his Katana away from Touhou and swing towards Elaine. Elaine stepped back to avoid the swing before saying, "Why are you so focused on me, you can't take us both on?"

Still swinging her chain, she began to make her move. Elaine crouched down and swung her chain at the assailant's leg, getting it to wrap around the mans leg so she could pull him down.

Zee on the other hand stepped back a bit then moved forward to attack, her nodachi swinging in downwards, all the force coming down through the center of the blade. The attack could potentially split the man in two if he did not dodge it.

Taron:

At the foot of the stairs Taron could see the breaks in the wall and attackers funneling through them as well as the defenders for Eureka. Calmly, he exited the dorm complex and found himself met by a trio of Diaga students that had broken through, or rather climbed over seeing as one was still coiling a rope.

The leader of the supposed group stood before Taron, carrying himself like some sort of rich baron type. He even had the diamond tipped cane. Taron couldn't help but scowl; his father had been one of those types.

"Now wot we got 'ere? A likkle student out o' bed? For shame. Lemme 'elp get you back ta sleep." The other crony behind the leader snickered. The leader simply waved a hand, a command for the other two. The each pulled out their own weapons, a whip and a halberd. Without any sort of strategy, they came at Taron.

He was able to block the halberd but the flick of the whip came dangerously close to his ear. The halberd wielder took his chance during Taron's distraction to force his way down. Quickly, Taron channeled his magic into his blade. A bolt of lightning arced from his blade to the halberd and into its wielder's hands. He dropped the halberd with shocked screech.

The other one got ahold of Taron's sword with a flick of the wrist, yanking it from his grasp. "And now wotcha gonna do wit no sword?" he taunted. "This," Taron answered, clapping his hands together. As he brought them apart, an orb of voltic energy gathered between them, shooting a single bolt of lightnign that foked to hit them both square in the chest and send another toward the leader.

There was a flash of movement from the leader and the lightning spear had been deflected, instead zig-zagging into the fray at the earth barrier on Diaga's side. In one hand was the haft of the cane but in the other was the sword that was hidden inside; that had been what deflected the bolt.

"Orihalcon. Very expensive. Very effective." He came at Taron, linking both pieces together to form some sort of sword-staff. Rolling to the side, Taron dodges it and picked up his weapon in the process. Stabbing the ground with the butt of his weapon, the Diaga student smiled. "What will you do now with no magic?

Mishra:

Reaching the top of the observatory tower without any further interruptions, Mishra found a catpult ready for him. "Absolutely bloody excellent!" he purred. Pressing the button that opened the doors, he rotated the dias the catapult was on to see if it worked, Looking out at the academy he saw the fight had already started.

"What fun!" he exclaimed as he clapped his hands together. Setting up the catapult, he placed a single glass flask in the arm. Inside was what looked like a pulsing ring of red gas that in the right light looked like fire. "Time for my Hellfire Ring," he said as he launched the flask into the main opening that Diaga was funneling through.

Cackling as he watched it fly, as soon as it landed, it burst into a ring of flame that expanded in the earthen crack until it hit the walls. Then the next one came. It kept going for another 5 rings as Mishra's insane laughter rode the winds above Eureka.

The General wasn't a materialistic man. As the whip came forward, The General jumped, slamming his katana down into the floor to catch the chain. Meanwhile, the jump tossed him to the right, so Escaflowne's blade came down and missed. As The General jumped, he turned, landing to face both of them. His arms came up, throwing twin daggers, one for each of them, that landed on Elaine's right shoulder and Escaflowne's left shoulder. Both began to bleed, as The General smiled grimly.

"I can take you both on, when the odds are even. Which they are now; those daggers you were hit with were poisoned with neuro-toxin. Basically, you have about five minutes before you collapse into unconsciousness. The bright side is, if you manage to beat me in those five minutes, I have the antidote. Now, here's the hard part: your movements are already sluggish, your perceptions slowed. Since it's two on one, and I just need to play a waiting game, let us see who will win."

That said, The General assumed a combat stance, preferring to fist-fight at this point.

OOC: Five Minutes, One of my (and Tipsy's posts when he get's back) = 1 Minute elapsed, that sounds fair?

Elaine could barely listen to what he said after getting stabbed by the dagger, pulling the blade from her shoulder, Zee did the same, but she could barely make out what he said, before saying, "Then we will just have to defeat you before that happens." Zee stuck Touhou on the ground, then got into fighting stance, extending both of her hidden blades. Elaine only let go of the whip, and decided to go into combat unarmed. She moved first, but she felt as if her feet were like one-ton weights, and she was moving slower than usual. She however did try to throw a punch in an attempt to start a combo. While Zee held back a bit, waiting for an opening. She hoped it was quick or else this fight would be over quickly.

OOC: Sounds fair. that means for every two of your posts while Tipsy is gone = 1 minute. Also, the poison affects you in minute intervals. After two posts, the poison will make it harder to do stuff again.

IC: "Then we will just have to defeat you before that happens."
"As an honorable foe to an honored enemy, I wish you all the luck in the world."

Elaine moved forward, having discarded her whip. Elaine went straight for a punch, but The General decided against standing still and neatly side-stepped. This wasn't all he did: he would attempt to grab Elaine's arm, and jerk her forward, planting a knee in her stomach right as her arm was released, so as to send Elaine flying. Meanwhile, The General kept an eye on Zee: her blades would be used to full effect here.

OOC: Actually, Tipsy wants me to continue using her character to finish this fight so, let's go back to the original plan. (1 post = 1 minute)

IC:
Elaine not only missed her attack, but was caught by the arm and was kneed in the lower torso, sending Elaine flying to the other side of her room. As she slowly picked herself up, she saw Zee spring into action, moving to strike at her opponent in the torso with her Hidden Blades. Followed by a Spinning Heel Kick to the jaw.

Elaine however was a bit dazed, as if she was looking at stars. Trying to shake it off, she moved forward, staggering at first due to the toxin, it was as if her body was growing heavy. She still had to continue fighting though, stop the general, and the invasion. Elaine would have to resort to grappling to defeat him, and so she moved as quickly as possible to try and grab him from behind.

OOC: w/e works. New music, since it's a bit more stressing of a battle: Encounter Yes, this is subject to my whim, and yes, I actually chose this music.

IC: Stabs aren't effective. Not when your opponent expects it. As Zee moved forward to stab The General, he stepped up as Zee drew back to stab, grabbing her arms to stop her from stabbing. That didn't mean he wouldn't attack: quite the contrary. His forehead slammed forward to smash her nose, and his right leg swept across her legs, to cause her to fall. Or at least, she would fall, if not for The General holding her arms. As he had been keeping track of both, The General swung the Student Council Member by her arms and threw her at Elaine, who was circling behind him. This would most probably cause them to fall into a heap, with The General simply standing, watching.

"I guess that toxin is far more effective then they told me. Whatever the case, your running out of time: The longer you take, the harder it is."

Elaine and Zee both should've seen it coming. The General was skilled, and the fact that they've been fighting would have most likely accelerated the toxin's effect. Both women were already panting heavily, their vision blurred somewhat to the point where it was like they were seeing 3 of him. They could barely even make out what the man had said. Because of this, they had no choice but to go onto the defensive and hope that he would make a move, hoping that they could, if possible, counter the attack.

The General watched as the two struggled to stand. That toxin was extremely powerful. The General made a note to find it's name, and to make damn sure he kept an antidote to it on him here on out.

"It seems as if you've lost the will to fight. At this point, I would guess your near the end of your endurance. You must be at your limit, and not even a fight to show for it. I may as well apologize now for the cruel necessity of what I have done. It will all work out in the end, however. Now then..."

The General calmly walked away from the two, picking up Elaine's cell-phone that had been left on top of her dresser, on the opposite side of the room from the two.

"What was her number..."

The General opened the phone and proceeded to search it, keeping one eye on his two opponents.

OOC: Okay, I counted and I think we're down to one minute...wow I must've miscalculated. Eh, fuck it, this fight is over anyway.

Elaine could barely stand when she saw the man moved away. He went ahead to some piece of furniture that she can't tell, until she realized that her phone was up there and that was what he was after. Elaine slowly walked towards him, saying between heavy breathing "Don't....touch...my...phone." Upon saying the last part, she fell on her hands and knees. She began having a familiar feeling, the feeling of fear and helplessness, that same feeling she had when her mother died in the war, when she started school in Eureka. "I've....I...." Elaine said before finally losing consciousness, falling onto the floor.

Zee on the other hand, slowly walked over to Elaine. The toxin was taking a toll on her as well. She slowly walked before having to pant heavily on the opposite wall. Her back against the wall and her consciousness slowly fading, Escaflowne slumped down onto the ground. A few seconds later she too was out like a light.

OOC: Alright I did my part.

"Don't....touch...my...phone."

The General shook his head as he watched the two collapse, Elaine heading for him to try and get the phone back, and Escaflowne trying to get to Elaine.

"You won't be needing it for a little while. Guess that means that this part is done..."

The General closed the phone and pocketed it; he had found what he needed. Moving forward, he grabbed the two, putting one on each shoulder, walking away from the Academy.

-mini time-skip-

"There we are! Make yourselves comfortable. Oh right, unconscious... oh well, it's the effort that counts."

The General had put the two on a bed in a safe room, some distance from the Academy. Opening the phone, he casually went near the end, found one specific person's number, and hit call. Putting the phone to his head, he spoke as the person on the other end answered.

"Stella? Elaine and Escaflowne have run into a spot of trouble. They're currently unconscious in a safe-house behind Diaga lines. I advise you to move fast; I can't guarantee their safety."

The General wouldn't let Stella answer: as soon as he was done, the call ended, the phone tossed to lay beside Elaine on the bed. Pulling out a chair, The General turned it so it was facing away from the door and sat on it backwards.

Now to wait.

Stella walked through the tunnel down a mile deep underneath the earth of the school. The walls were stone and dripping with ooze. "This place is ancient" Stella coughed as she breathed in the dust.

Hopefully Rasitlin as followed her as she wouldn't be making a second trip to show him the way. She school was in danger and faint bangs could be heard as she ceiling shook. Finally she arrived at a circular looking room with a large door. "I think this is it." she said as she opened the door to yet another circular room filled with dust and cobwebs. "Hurry Raist and do your thing. I'll guard the door."

As she said this her phone rang and she answered. "Stella? Elaine and Escaflowne have run into a spot of trouble. They're currently unconscious in a safe-house behind Diaga lines. I advise you to move fast; I can't guarantee their safety."

"Well right now the whole school's in danger. May I ask who's calling?" she spoke calmly waiting for Raistlin to place his artifact in it's rightful chamber.

She was a bit agitated at the moment and decided to take deep breaths in the dark underground chamber. On top of this apparently the rest of the Student Council was in danger. The day could only get better, but instead she had a feeling that it would get worse...

"Well right now the whole school's in danger. May I ask who's calling?"
"An old friend with an explosive personality. By the way, I believe that the Diaga students will be searching for you... I advise you to be cautious. One last thing: both of them have been poisoned and are slowly dying. I give it 30 minutes."

With that, the phone call was REALLY ended, and the phone tossed onto the bed. The General growled; he had forgotten that Stella protected her students. No matter: She will arrive soon.

(OOC: I will post part 2 of this tomorrow, to give the rest of you some time before the school lifts.)

Raistlin stopped for a minute to look at the door in front of him. Once Stella opened the door, he looked inside the room, save for the pedestal the artifact was supposed to go; the room was completely devoid of decoration. Black, dark, uninviting, the room would have been enough to scare any kid to death. “Hurry Raist and do your thing. I’ll guard the door.” Stella said. It was somewhat reassuring, for when he was done, Raistlin knew he was going to be lucky if he could move for the next few hours.

“Stella, you may want to close the door. It’s not going to be pretty, and I would rather you not see me scream,” he said, voice lowered down. For once in his life, he wasn’t cocky, he was downright nervous. Taking the artifact out of his bag, he placed it on pedestal, and activated it according to the instructions. Then, catching him by surprise, a figure emerged from it, a tall, slender man, who was completely devoid of any facial characteristic at all.

He had no face, no hair, and wore nothing but a black suit and tie. It was like something out of a bad dream. With no lips, nor mouth, it spoke to him.

“A child… do you understand the consequences of your actions?”

“I am aware.”

“Do you understand what will happen?”

“Yes.”

“What, may I ask, do you wish to use me for? Power, political gain, or is it
destruction that you wish? I can tell you, that in the hundreds of thousands of years I’ve been around, I’ve consumed the souls of many great men, all of them wanting something silly. You will probably be no different.”

“I want protection. You are currently being held within the deepest chambers of a school. The school is rather large, and I need it to do something to keep it out of harms way, that would otherwise be impossible.”

“What would that be, child?”

“I wish to make the landmass fly, and I wish to have direct control of what directions it goes in, directions it faces, and I wish to be able to see everything that is happening on it.”

“… For once, I am somewhat impressed. You will get your request, but the price of my power is still the same. Half of your soul will belong to me for the duration of the power. If you should go further than two of your miles away from me, you will die, and I will claim your entire soul. If you die in combat, I claim your soul, if I am destroyed, I go back to where you found me, and I claim your soul. In fact, you are going to have to work very hard for me not to claim your soul. Your light shines bright, and I will not lie when I say that I want it: badly.”

“Very well, I understand. Let’s begin.”

Taron:

"What else can I do but cut you down?" Taron growled in response.

Twirling the blade once, he brought it down for a stab and charged the Diaga student who responded by bring his weapon to parry. At the last second, Taron spun around, swinging his blade in a horozontal arc. As it passed the edge began to glow red and bubble, a fluid sort of color. A line a magma rocketed off of it at the Diaga student.

Quickly ducking underneath it, it hit the orihalcon blade of his weapon which cut it in half. Tanking back up, he took a swing at Taron who effortlessly blocked it. Neither of them gained on the other, both being of near equal strength.

Suddenly, the Diaga student broke it off. Leaping backward, he flung out his weapon. Moving to the side Taron was able to dodge the initial strike but somethign hit him in the back. His opponent's weapon was connected by a chain now. Lucky for him it had been the shaft that hit him and not the blade.

Spinning the weapon on its hidden chain, the Diaga student advanced on Taron, a smile on his face now that he had the advantage iof range on Taron. Unfortunately, Taron had an ace.

Standing upright, he pointed his sword at his enemy. From it's tip burst a mighty magma leviathan that surged at the Diaga student.

"I told you! Magic is worthless against me!" he laughed hysterically at the percieved futility of it as he stood his weapon in front of him to part the red sea of magma flowing toward him.

The leviathan reached the weapon and was cut in half by it but barely two inches after the blade it reformed into the original and rushed onto the Diaga student.

There wasn't even time for a scream as he was engulfed by it.

As he walked away towards the battle lines, Taron shook his head.

You brought me to this father...

Mishra:

"And lets have another one!" Grinding the gears ferventlybto bring the catapult back to its firing position, Mishra tossed another flask into the launcher.

Licking a finger he put in the air, mockingly testing the wind direction. He shrugged.

"Like I care!" he cackled before lifting the lever to launch the blizzard bomb.

The flask flew through the air to burst near the same spot as the first. This time it realased a series of cloud which billowed up and covered the opening to rain down icy spears on the intruding Diaga student.

Krego + Arukab

"Everything is all set, Arukab, you can open your eyes now." Krego spoke very quietly and softly. Arukab's eyes slowly opened and he awoke from the trance-like state he was previously in. They were within Krego's quarters, and there were several blue flames surrounding Arukab's uncovered body. These were acting as lights and as a circle for the spell Krego was putting on Arukab. As another assistant were black lines drawn on Arukab's pale skin and scarred body. They made symmetrical patterns other than his eyes. One eye had curved and peaceful lines, while the other had jagged and lines that appeared disrupted.

"Thank you Krego." Arukab said as he got up and headed for his clothes. He was putting on his underwear first for obvious reasons. Krego got up and the circle of blue flames where Arukab was formerly laying vanished, and the artificial lights on the ceiling of the building lit back up. This was a tiring spell that could only be done with great focus and skill, and So Krego was nearly passed out by this time.

"Yes, now you go. I'll have to stay here."

"Remember, if you fall asleep, the spell is over.

"Yes, I know, you can trust me."

Now fully clothed, other than his favorite trench coat, Arukab walked over to Krego and put his hand on Krego's shoulder. "As I always have." Heading out the door, knowing he could trust Krego, he knew that the battle already started. He could hear it and feel it. Over 200 years of combat made him wise enough to know when battles were occuring, but anyone could figure this one out. It wasn't exactly the quietest battle. Reaching about 3/4 of the way to the door, Arukab released his Silver Phantom state. Normally in this state, controlling the weight of his silver would be impossible, but this time he was light on his feet, and he could run at his normal speed.

Not only was his ability to control the properties of his silver still apparent in his state, but there were more differences from his normal Silver Phantom. Now it would last longer, he could replenish any feathers shot at his will, he could maintain total control over his metallic manipulation, and there was silver in new places. Now silver had enveloped his hands to make claws, and there were spikes down his back. With a powerful leap forward and thrust of his wings, he reached the door in an instant, as it must have only been 100 feet away. He opened the door and peered outside. There were a lot of students fighting among other students. It was clear to see who was on whose side. Ready for battle, Arukab looked to see if there were any of his school students having trouble. He saw one kid being teamed up on. This kid was a senior, she he was more advanced than the underclassmen, but not even he could take on 3 others.

Using his wings to glide, Arukab leaped towards the four. Luckily, the student saw this and he had Arukab as a teacher, so he knew what to do. As Arukab closed in, the student used his staff to knock one brute into the other, and the timing was perfect. Arukab then collided with the two, rendering one unconscious and the other flew back several feet. This brute spoke once he got up, "An old man with some metal parts? Now that's pretty cool, but can you take me on?"

Clearly the student was arrogant. Arukab had faced many harder opponents in his life. This brute then started to charge at Arukab with a miniaturized axe. It was so easy for Arukab, as he coated his arm in silver and stopped the blade with his right arm. In his left arm materialized Soul Shot, which was loaded with a bullet that would not kill, but it would penetrate and inject a tranquillizer that could put out a normal person for 9 hours. He pressed the barrel o the arm of the student and before seeing a reaction, pulled the trigger.

He was pleased at his next sight as he saw his student had also knocked out the last one from Diaga. Arukab walked up to him now. "Well done, Kyle." "Hehe, I learned from the best, old man." Arukab chuckled. "You'll never change, will you?" "Changing is for the people that don't already know themselves." Smiling and grabbing the end of Kyles wooden staff, Arukab extended silver into it's and and released it from his body. It now made the staff into a spear. No further words were required between the two, only an exchange of serious and cold blooded looks. The spell that was on Arukab was showing his darker side, but in this situation it was not bad at all.
