*Eureka Academy*

Escaflowne

It was as expected. Eliane performed a perfect dodge to her downward slash. However, she had taken this into consideration. With the blade still in the ground, Escaflowne reversed her grip and stood it up vertically as she charged towards Eliane. Touhou now stood vertically in the ground and with her forward charge momentum, Escaflowne leapt off the floor, using the sword as a anchor point and swung a head high sweeping kick towards Eliane.

Elaine was not surprised that Zee would use her sword as a pole vault to launch an attack on her. She was known to be intuitive, always thinking on her feet. Elaine had performed a combat roll to narrowly avoid her friends Heel Kick. Since she was fighting unarmed, Eliane would have to think fast in addition to being quick on her feet as well.

Quickly come out of that roll, Elaine quickly moved forward and the moment Escaflowne lands, she would use a Forearm Strike to knock her off balance.

Escaflowne

Her heels swiped at empty air where Eliane was before she dodged. This placed Escaflowne in a rather bad position. With the arcing motion of her heel kick, she had placed herself wide open. Her back was clear to strike at as long as she held onto the sword as her anchor point for her spin. There was only one thing to do. Using her palm, Escaflowne bent her arm and sprung herself as far as she can from Touhou, which wasn't very far considering the position she was in and the small platform in which she pushed from.

It was lucky that she did that as Eliane came and did a forearm strike and had she continued her momentum with the kick, Escaflowne would have taken the entire brunt of the attack. By pushing herself from the blade, Escaflowne in a sense rolled with the strike, her guard taking a large majority of the strike as well as falling in the same direction as the strike. With her momentum changed, Escaflowne combat rolled to the side. Even though she blocked a good deal of the hit, it was still rather heavy. Her sword now laid out of arms reach.

Ah... nuts. Guess its hand to hand then...

And with that, with a cheeky smile, Escaflowne flicked both her ring fingers and moved her toes, springing out all her knives. She raised herself onto her toes and bounced slightly, waiting. She had done the first strike and failed. Escaflowne wanted to see what Eliane would do

With Zee's sword moved away from her, Elaine now has found it easier to engage her friend. She changed her stance to a more stationary stance, her feet spread apart with her left foot forward, and both her hands were closed and her right arm was bend a bit backwards, essentially the Jeet Kune Do Fighting Stance.

From there, Eliane moved forward and launched a switch kick combo, making the right leg the dominant leg, followed by a kick from her left foot and a regular kick from her right foot, both shots aiming towards Escaflowne's torso.

Escaflowne

Escaflowne deployed an elbow block on the first kick, taking the second with her right arm then the third regular kick ( is that right? im under the assumption there is three), she sprung into action. Her right arm went across her body and was positioned next to her torso so that it took the brunt of the kick while stepping in closer up to Eliane's thigh. As the kick came in, Escaflowne's right arm blocked the third kick aimed at her left ribs and just as it was blocked, she threw her left arm around to try and grab and hold Eliane's leg before making for a headbutt towards her head.

OOC: Yeah, I was hoping more people would post here before we continue the fight, but I don't see that happening so, I'm just gonna move ahead. Also, it was originally supposed to be two kicks Tipsy, but I'll make it three though. Short post is short though, so you can get back on the offensive.

IC:
Elaine was surprised that Escaflowne was able to block three quick kicks, especially since she did not realize that the third kick left her open. Elaine took a headbutt to the face, which led her to stagger back for a few moments. This momentary time to shake it off would lead her to be open up for another attack by Zee, which could put Elaine on the defensive. She would have to react quick enough to get back on the offensive.

OOC: Very short.

Escaflowne

It was a freak chance that Escaflowne felt her headbutt connect, but she had no time to revel in it. She was against Eliane. Any second of cockiness or pause will lead to her face flat on the ground. With her friend reeling backwards from the hit, her momentum was heading backwards. Arms still around her leg, the most logical thing to do was to add the two together. Heaving with all her might, Escaflowne flung her arms upwards, throwing Eliane's leg up, attempting to flip and throw Eliane backwards.

OOC: I understand these post will be very short...it's been reduced to us fighting each other...

...Oli!!! End his torment and my own!!! :O

Also, Tipsy: It's probably a fact that I'm no Martial Arts Expert, I'm now reduced to fighting with the style I'm familiar with.

IC:
Zee threw Elaine's leg up, assuming to try and get her on her back. Elaine countered this by pulling her legs up and changing her center of gravity, she extended her hands to land on them, then immediately pushed up from them, launching herself back in the air and landing on her feet.

The monk quickly got back into fighting stance, and rushed forward, before launching a straight punch to the torso, which would be followed up with an elbow to the face.

Escaflowne

Eliane came at her once again. Again, Escaflowne planned to step in, block and counter with a knee to the chest. Her friend's punch came straight at her and quickly, Escaflowne stepped forward and made to grabbed it with both hands to stop it from hitting. Just as Escaflowne began to start her knee attack, from the corner of her eye, she saw Eliane's elbow fly at her. It connected soundly with her forehead, snapping her neck backwards. It had enough force to send her tumbling back, which she rolled a bit before Escaflowne managed to stabilize herself and back up. That was close. It almost shook her brain a bit and if that had happened, Escaflowne doubt she could have stood for a few seconds until she recovered.

Well.... we seem to have ourselves at a standstill. Keep going until one of us is down?

Well.... we seem to have ourselves at a standstill. Keep going until one of us is down?

"That's the plan."
Elaine said, smiling. It has been a while since she actually fought an opponent this tough from her own school. She did not even have to use her powers. Elaine was actually having fun.

Back in stance, Elaine charged forward, throwing a left jab at Zee's chest, this would be followed up with a spinning heel kick to the torso, and a jumping roundhouse kick to the head.

OOC: Combo Fighting, the only way to go.

(OOC: Short post. Waiting until everyone gets back in for longer posts.)

Raistlin woke up early the next morning. Which was odd, considering how hard he worked on that last mission, he figured he would be more tired than he normally was. Paying it little to no mind, he woke up and went to take a nice hot shower. He let the water pour over him as he started to shampoo his hair up. Little did he know, a somewhat large black cat had snuck its way into his restroom.

“Really, Raistlin, must you be so violent?” Cameron asked.

“Father, I’m in the shower, and I would rather not have a long drawn out conversation on how I killed an ogre.”

“You stabbed it in the eye, and using lightning, you fried it to death.”

“Considering that it is a huge giant ogre that enjoys throwing boulders at kids, you would think most people couldn’t care less about how it died. They’re probably just happy that it’s gone.”

“I’m worried about you, son. First, the wolves, and now the ogre, both are examples of extremely violent use of powers.”

“There was no need to hold back. I have the power, why not use it?”

“That is not the way Mages work. That isn’t the way I was taught, and that is not the way I taught you, Raistlin.”

Raistlin started washing the shampoo out of his hair. “You’re very lucky I’m behind a shower curtain, I seriously want to shock you out of my restroom. Ever heard of a little thing called ‘privacy’? You should look into it.” As Cameron left the restroom, still in cat form, Raistlin finished up his shower and put his normal attire on. “Damn… That was awkward.”

OOC: Well, its the first.. or second... third. Time to end the day. I guess i can have Escaflowne lose due to loss of concentration XD

Esacflowne.

The combo that came at Escaflwone was basic. She was confident that she could block and perform a counter with ease. In her mind, she counted off each attack as it came, planning what to do.

Short left jab, right hand back palm to the side. Spinning heel kick, elbow block to halt movement.... jumping roundhouse kick to the head, duck and close in to... huh?

At the worst moment, Escaflowne's phone went off in her pocket. She had forgotten to take it out during her private practice as well as during the spar. Normally, she was disciplined enough to ignore it, but the ring tone was Imperial March. It meant mother. Escaflowne froze up and unfortunately, at the wrong time before the duck, copping a straight roundhouse to the head. It dropped her like a rock onto the mats.

The tune continued for a few seconds before Escaflowne rummaged her pocket and pulled out the small device.

Mother? This... is rare. Is something wrong?

Escaflowne knew how her mother was. She was a nice mother and all, but very nit picky and can at times, be a total dictator. It must be more instructions or checking on whether she has been acting impeccable.

Oh no. Nothing like that. Just wanted to tell you to cover yourself when you sleep, okay? I better not disturb you from your studies any further. See you sweety pie.

Escaflowne could not believe that she copped a kick to the head for that. She completely deflated and flopped like a jellyfish on the floor, all tension and combat spirit gone.

May day here. I think.... i'm done.... i cant move....hurts....

May day here. I think.... i'm done.... i cant move....hurts....

Elaine rushed over to her friend. Obviously from how the situation played out, it appeared her mother had distracted her long enough to get caught in the roundhouse kick. Extending her hand so that Zee would grab it to help herself up, Elaine said, "I guess we're done for the day. Are you okay?" it was true after all, it was almost nighttime, meaning they were fighting for a good while now...

OOC: Sorry for short post, lack of inspiration... :sad3:

DAY 4 - THE LAST DAY

Stella strode across the school lawn. She couldn't sleep. The air was breezy in the morning and the grass had fresh dew strewn though it. Stella looked out onto the ocean ahead as the sun rose from the sea. About now she would have been in bed happily but too many things had gone on from the last few days. Many students just arriving and just surviving on missions. This woul dbe one mission they wouldn't forget. She walked over towards the ocean rocks as she thought she had seen something large swim past in the water. The beach was small and sandy as always, but it felt like home in a way. She stood on the beach now looking out at the water. Witin her she felt a rumbling.

A slow humming rythme and rumbling sound to which she felt pumped up for. As she turned away to head back up to the school the feeling would not go away, and soon, the vibrations became stronger and more violent. She looked back in suprise to see a giant black metal submarine emerge from the shallow waters. Turrets were monted at the top of the ship and tons of others followed. The ships had begun to get near the shore. "Shit!" Stella swore as she cast an earth elemental spell.

It would form an earth like barrier around the island until it could be broken. She ran as fast as she could to the school. She had not expected the enemy to attack as early as they had. he ships broke through the forms of land barrier as crowds of Diaga academy students had begun to pour into the island looking for a fight.

Farther inland, away from the approaching ships, four students sat huddled. They were not, however, those of Eureka. One was dressed in standard Diaga attire, with a unique difference of a silver star embroidered on the uniform. The three others wore full black, even their skin painted so. The General pointed.

"And so it begins. Now we must accomplish our missions. Your job? Take out, or at the very least, distract the teachers of this wretched school."

The three gave a quick salute, before running off in the direction of the school, The General running behind, conserving his energy. The three in black split away, each heading for a teacher. The General jumped, grabbing onto a window. Not high enough. The General jumped again, this time grabbing onto the window he wanted. Plus, it was open. Slinking in, The General entered the room of the late Student Council member, Orion. The General looked around, before sighing.

"A waste... oh well. It's one less battle for me, and a good place to start. First up is her..."

The General exited and entered the room belonging to Elaine, who was sleeping on her bed. The General breathed a soft sigh as he took out something shiny from his coat.

"I truly am sorry..."

And that was when the throwing knife whirled and slammed into the pillow, an inch from Elaine's face.

OOC: Alright, so the black dudes are heading for the teachers. If you do encounter them, and your not a teacher, it's going to be living hell, as these guys are Spec Ops kinda thing, and they will be very difficult opponents. For the teachers they reach, make it at least a good fight (black dudes are NPCs at this point). As for The General, no one is allowed to interfere, as ordered (sort of) by our amazing RP master. This relates a bit to the plot.

Taron:

He woke up early, an undesireable pressure pushing at him. Quickly he went to the bathroom and relieved himself. As he came back he sighed. "Who would have thought using so much magic would dehydrate you so bad," he muttered. "Drank way too much water at dinner last night."

As Taron started to crawl back into bed, he took a moment to look out the window into the sky. He still had a while left before classes. Casting his gaze downward, he saw an earth wall rise up around the academy as far as he could see.

"Interesting," he whispered. He watched as several sections of it began to crumble as though somethign was breaking through. Failing to see a cause from inside the academy, he looked out to sea. All he saw were large black cigars floating along in the water. Then there were more, and they were coming closer.

Now that his headache of the previous day was gone, he did a few quick calculations in his head. At this length away, they had to be ships of a kind.

A memory flitted through his head. He was fishing at a dock for some food and saw a submarine rise up out of the water and dock. 'Submarine's,' he thought. And pretty large ones too.

Someone had put up that wall to protect the academy, otherwise it wouldn't be breaking down. That meant there was an attack of some sort; or at least logic said there was. He watched more sections fall.

"I wonder if anyone else is up..." he mused as he got dressed in his standard wear. He grabbed his sword, and left his room. If there was an attack he could help in some way.

Mishra:
Mishra was pissed to say the least. What happened he didn't know. Was it his Raven? Or maybe his apprentice was dimmer than he thought. It didn't matter now. What mattered was that a new day was upon him and he had to move goods to more appropriate places.

Gathering up a satchel filled with assorted experiments, he headed off to find the best vantage point to fling them from. As he made his way to the observatory tower, he came across someone skirting around in all black.

"Oi! Get back to bed student. Breakfast isnt for another 2 hours," he yelled at them. They quickly turned and came after Mishra without a sound. "Oh yeah. Real tough. Acting like a ninja. Like that impresses anyone around here." He rolled his eyes and kept going.

Still the person pursued him but now Mishra felt something pass through his midsection. Looking ahead, he saw several shuriken lodged in the tree in front of him." He turned to look at his follower.

"Now was that rea-" he paused to look at the sword that was now in his chest, going underneath his breastbone and into his heart. "That's not going to work," he chuckled. His chuckle soon turned into a mad laugh, something that would probably prove he belonged in a loony bin.

"Really? Really? I mean, come on!" His pursuer merely blinked in surprise that Mishra was still alive and talking. "Let's see. If you were from Eureka Academy, you would already know about me. Which means you're an outsider. And you attacked me, so that points to Diaga. I expected you later. Oh well. Now I get a guinea pig early."

Backing up off the blade, he reached into his coat to pull out a vial while the Diaga personnel started to attack him with their sword. Mishra merely flicked the vial into his attacker's face and leapt back. As soon as it was clear of Mishra's fingers, it became solid, hitting the Diaga personnel in the face.

The vial exploded in a puff of yellow smoke. When it cleared, the would be assassin was encased in a yellow pyramid. "I'll be back for you later when I'm done with my delivery."

He quickly pulled out his activated ink and a quill pen and wrote the words "Do Not Touch" on the ground seven times. Each of these lines rose up and turned into a different animal, three airborne and 4 landlocked. "Now keep people away my pets.

Continuing on to the observatory tower, he really hoped no one would be stupid enough to break his seal until he got back.

OOC: Sorry Shadow. Diaga can't use magic from what I understand which means Mishra pwns all of them. So I just isolated one for someone else to play with.

And for those that want to know, the animals are a bear, a snake, a raven, an owl, a lion, a bat, and a cat.

Raistlin noticed the sound of magic and machinery from his dorm room. Knowing instantly that it wasn't a good thing, he looked out of his window to notice that a large wall made of earth, magical in nature, had risen around the school. Cameron, now in human form, stood next to his son.

"Raistlin, this isn't good, not at all."
"The obvious has now been stated."
"This is what you have been preparing for, Son."
"I never thought I would actually be this anxious... My hands are shaking."
"Finally showing a human like quality again, that's good."
"I'm excited, Father. I'm teleporting in, you should stay behind the wall of earth, in case it falls."
"Be careful. I lost your Mother, I do not want to lose you as well."
"Sentimental trivialities are not going to get us no where. We must make haste. As head of the Disciplinary Committee, it is time for me to do what I do best... Kick ass, and take names."

Wasting no more time, he teleported on top of the wall of earth. He saw Stella, but before he could answer anything, he stopped a spear that was thrown at him using his magic, stopping it in midair.

"That wasn't wise of you," Raistlin said. Smiling, he sent a huge fireball at the person that threw it, in a Diaga uniform. The explosion killed him instantly, with three more surrounding him.

Raising his voice, he said to Stella, "Oh glorious leader, it is very nice to see you this fine morning. Sadly, we're surrounded by enemies, so that kind of messes this up, and somewhat pisses me off. Let us hold the perimeter, shall we? Got a strategy? We could really use one about now."

Raistlin still had every intention to move the school, but he wanted to avoid that option if necessary. If they lost the perimeter, he was going to have to find Krell, and fast.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, Cameron waited behind the wall, to treat wounded, and kill the first person to get past the wall. He just got here, and he was not going to let this place fall to a lesser academy. On the outside, he was calm and collected, on the inside, he was worried. He didn't want to lose his son, but he also didn't want to see any students harmed.

Arms at his side, he calculated the next logical move.

Elaine quickly awoke when she felt a wind blow by her, when she saw a knife just inches from Elaine's face, she quickly snapped out of bed quickly getting into a quick fighting stance. Her eyes were focused on the assailant, and she was surprised on who it was.

"I thought you were dead. I guess I was wrong." Elaine said. "Why did you try to kill me back there though?" As much as she wanted to greet her fellow StuCo Member again, she had to keep her guard up.

"If you have come to kill me though, then come at me...traitor!!"

"I thought you were dead. I guess I was wrong. Why did you try to kill me back there though?"

The General's face turned grim.

"Death comes to all of us, but he does not always leave. In any case, I must do as what fate determines. If you die, it will be because fate chose it to be so."
"If you have come to kill me though, then come at me...traitor!!"

The General slowly shook his head, his eyes never leaving Elaine.

"As I said, Fate leaves me no choice... today, you will not leave this room by your will."

The talking out of the way for the moment, 6 daggers flashed in The General's hands, 3 in each, in between his fingers. His hands moving faster then one might think, they all spun and were thrown, 2 straight at Elaine, 2 to her left, and 2 to her right. Along with this formation, in each pair of knives one was high, and one was low. Each of the knives dripped something briefly as they flew through the air. Meanwhile, The General reached behind his back, from his waist, and unsheathed a short katana, with a twist: it was reverse-blade, intended not for killing. The General waited.

Waited for the inevitable to come.

Escaflowne

"As I said, Fate leaves me no choice... today, you will not leave this room by your will."

Nor will you.

Escaflowne stood in the doorway of Eliane's room. The noise woke Escaflowne from her sleep and she instantly registered as trouble. She stood there, facing a rather familiar figure with Touhou in hand. He had already Launched an attack at Eliane with his daggers and was about to draw a short katana from behind his waist when Escaflowne leaped forward with a downward slash straight at his back, aiming to either cut him deeply, or at the very least lock swords with the katana before it is drawn.

Delijah

Hurry! Double time to the front!

Delijah was luckily awake when the attack came down. It only took a second to grab her weapons before she was out the door and running towards the earth wall that has been magically erected. Following her was a few Black Sect students that have agreed to help the defense, though it appears the Eureka defense was a bit sparse considering it came all of a sudden. Sections of the wall have been breached, but that wasn't too worrisome. At the very least, the Diaga students were still funneled, perfect for the small number of defenders.

Delijah jumped straight into action and batted the closest Diaga student with Yatagarasu, bowling the others behind him in a combo. The moment she landed, Delijah followed with a distance explosion through the ground, sending three through the ground and detonating right in the midst of the advance group.

Get into position and hold them until the school is ready!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: Another short one. She will begin to feel something wierd, but still feel the school is normal.
Maya
There was a loud commotion outside but Maya pulled her sheets over her head and wrapped her pillow around her ears. It was god early for her today as she has a free period in the morning and she did not appreciate the idea of this cacaphony. There was a limit to being reasonable in a dorm and The noise was starting to push Maya past her tolerance level. She was a bad morning person after all.
Argh..... mendokusai.... how troublesome.....Just shut up will you....
After a bit more grumbling, Maya turned over and tried to keep sleeping.
