Evanescent Fairytale {RP}

Ahrexian knew his lightning would be of all but no use against the earth guardian, so his focues was on the ice one.

He watched as the guardian shot shards of ice and created pillars of ice around the newest member of the group, in order to gauge it's power...

As it was distracted creating the pillars around his team mate, Ahrexian took his chance, he ran at the ice guardian, charging his blade with lightning, and swung it as hard as he could at where he guessed the things' head should be from the side...

Mystro watched the way the ice guardian faught, and it was clear that the other guardian would fight just as well talented. He decided to face the other one, this one had yet to make a move when Mystro watched Virgina attack. Putting his gauntlets pointed forward, Mystro readied for combat. He examined his surroundings and looked at what he may use to his advantage, and saw little to use. He decided to jump at his maximum height, and this was slightly higher than usual for him. At this, he smashed a gauntlet into the closest wall.

Looking down at his grounded surroundings he planned and he he dug his other gauntlet into the wall as well, and did so at an angle to allow him to stay up there for a short period of time and watch everything, but have a good dodging and possibly countering advantage. It was more than he needed for a good start.

Seridaxon charged fowards he was behind most of the other people in the group but he didnt care.

Move, Hes mine" Seridaxon screamed swinging the pillar towards Thriftor with all his might.

"Don't bother with the little one she'll run rather then take the hit, i however will fight you eye for and eye fist for a fist" he said as he let go of the pillar sending it spinning towards the earth elemental.

(OOC: Um....their appearance is in the discussion thread and she looks more human than anything Light...She's a person with godlike powers instead of just being a "thing"...)

Thiftor felt A blow from the middle of his torso and responded with a kick from behind. Quickly spotting a man throwing a pillar at him, he smirked. "Hehe! Have you no brains? That pillar is made of rock." said Thiftor as he stopped it in midair and sent it flying straight back to its thrower.

He eyed his three opponents suspiciously and wondered what Shosta was going through.
-------------

Shosta saw the blade come for her head as she attempted to duck. Unfortunately a few strands of her hair had gotten caught. "Freeze!" she shouted as she returned the blow with an ice lance hurtling quickly through the air.

An ice being...Perfect.

Phallia could tell that these were not beasts, but a more intelligent and civilised entities. Therefore, they deserve every bit of combating etiquette. Unlike the other two(?), Phallia, sword still in hand walked forward, face to face with the entity.

My name is Phallia de Masquas of the Trinity Church. I accept your challenge in showing my worth for your assistance.

Performing a ceremonial bow, Phallia unclipped her cloack, lifted Duravel to her side and charged in, the piece of clothing flying backwards from her shoulder. The ice spears that she had summoned flew forward. She knew that a spirit with control over ice would probably not even be phased by these attacks. More so, it seems that it was more likely than not that any sort of her magic would be nullified. It would have to be through her swordsmanship that would allow Phallia to best the spirit.

Tensing her legs, Phallia launched herself high into the air, performing a basic overhead swing at the element, followed by a instant upward slash immediately afterward aim at cutting straight up her chest

Virginia was able to do some small damage against Thriftor. But the guardian launched a kick at Virginia, which she backflipped to dodge out of the way. Virginia did see the man display his powers when Seridaxon threw a rock pillar at him, which he of course levitated back to the sender.

The first thing Virginia said to the elemental was, "Are you...gods?" She wanted to ask, becuase if they were it would be nigh impossible to truly defeat them. Still, she wanted to continue the attack, jumping up as high as she could and try to pounce on her opponent, to drive a knife through his neck.

((OOC: I suppose, for my convenience… .Lightning, Tipsynaruto, and myself are fighting Shosta. The rest are fighting the Earth Elemental…))

While she tried her best to avoid Shosta’s attacks, her forte did not lie in her ability to avoid attacks, magical or not. Fortunately for herself, she did make it fast enough to merely suffer a scratch on her legs. This scratch was only skin deep, and did not bleed as profusely as it would have if otherwise.

Hatred welled up within her, and in revenge, she pulled down her hood now. This revealed to the party her frighteningly snowy features. Her hair was white, and almost blends in with the snowy terrain of the mountain. More notably, her complexion was just as fair. However, her eyes were a glowing like golden gems- corresponding to the element of the spell she used.

Frowning, she watched as two other teammates rushed in to sneak an attack on the Guardian. The first almost made it, but Shosta deftly avoided it and returned his attack with an ice lance. Raising a hand at the lance, she promptly released another bolt of electricity to break apart the ice, saving the person.

“Fireworks? You haven’t seen any fireworks.”

She hissed, just as the second teammate introduced herself and rushed at the Guardian. It was evident from the icy spears around her that she utilized the element of Ice as well. This only made Unity less appreciative of her efforts. Still, it would be foolish to not provide any aid, she realized.

She immediately started on the simple chant for the spell, ‘Lightning Storm’. With her spell, ‘Lightning Aura’, the ‘Lightning Storm’ can be summoned at a quicker pace, though it still required some amount of time. Nevertheless, she believed the two would be able to buy some time for her.

"Hehe! Have you no brains? That pillar is made of rock."

Seridaxon smiled as he watched the pillar stop in midair the start flying back at him he lifted his arms and covered his face as the pillar smashed over him, he slid back a few feet and brought his arms down his eyes full of seething rage.

"Who needs brains when your strength surpasses everything within logical reason" he said as he started running fowards towards Thriftor he clenched his fists and swung high towards the elemental's head and brought his knee up aiming for his lower stomach.

Screaming a Haari war cry, Kyrie launched herself into the fray. The Earth Elemental was a tempting target, but she was more readily available to those fighting the Ice Elemental. She threw herself at the being called Shosta, using her small frame to her advantage by staying low, running past, and aiming a slice right across the tops of the Elemental's kneecaps. The momentum of the swipe carried her past Shosta and, Kyrie hoped, out of the range of whatever spell Unity was conjuring.

Mystro stood up watching as the pillar had flown in the opposite direction that it was initially headed. What is this power? Its beyond anything I have seen. At this thaught Mystro knew deffense would be key. He heard the giant man speak.

"Who needs brains when your strength surpasses everything within logical reason"

Well that may be the fact that your power is great, but this...thing is obviously going to be strong as well. From that little bit he did, I barely sensed the use of any power actually being used. For the first time I'm frightened by an opponent. With this Mystro glanced over at the others fighting and saw a glint of blood. The look of insanity sparked and his mouth watered. His mind was still thinking though.

"Magic eh? Impressive. Tell me, what will we gain fighting you? If there is nothing to gain, then I will make this but a duel, so no pointless casualties are lost. Of course, there would be steaks." Mystro began to lose his gripping on the wall, but dug in deeper.

OOC: i called him a thing cuz Mystro is iffy if the humanoid is really human with this power

"Are you...gods?"

Thiftor smiled at this question. "Don't you read your fairy tales kid?" he said. "I'll show you something that will answer your question for itself."

"Magic eh? Impressive. Tell me, what will we gain fighting you? If there is nothing to gain, then I will make this but a duel, so no pointless casualties are lost. Of course, there would be steaks."

"You will gain your life." Thiftor replied. "We are only testing you warriors. If you arent up to par....Then you'll have to just die."

At that Seridaxon came charging towards him. Thiftors stomach had collided with Seridaxon's knee, forcing the guardian back. While in midair he shouted. "Shosta NOW!"

Then he flipped landing on his feet and punched the ground.

----------------

Shosta had just ducked out of the way of the girl striking her with a blade. She conjured up an ice lance on her arm and swung it at her attacker in return. She caught a small glimpse at another girl flying past her and focused her vision to her teammate.

"Shosta NOW!" She heard Thiftor scream.

She then ran toawrds a wall and began climbing it. She created an ice pillar that reached the top of the shrines high ceilings. "I doubt you will be able to concentrate as my next attack will be deadly." shouted Shosta in anger.

She then jumped and punched the ceiling, imbedding her fist in it so that she hung there for a second.
-------------

The two elemental guardians then began to transform the room. The floors had begun to rise and fall in square shapes, making normal footing inpossible. The ceilings became coated with ice and then in a split second the ceiling created icicles that were thrown to the floor toward the heroes. Pillars of earth continually began to rise and fall from the floor and debris flew everywhere. After a while the two guardians stood beside each other. "You sure know how to put on a wild ride." began Shosta.

"But I'm afraid if that's all you've got, the ride is over." finished Thiftor.

"We are only testing you warriors. If you arent up to par....Then you'll have to just die."

Gagh, thats convenient, we have nothing to gain from what he says...

Mystro foicused on a strategy when the next thing he knew he felt vibrations. The 'gods' were using their powers together. The floor was changing and moving, and he was starring down in awe at this magic. In his starring he failed to notice an Icicle of massive size commin down above him. He felt cold air and he startled, looking up. At first, he had to think, and that was a unfortunate mistake.

At the last seconde he could he tried to leap away and grab onto something else. He managed to move down the side of the wall, but he glanced at the icicle to see blood. This blood was undoubtably his, so he examined his body. The icicle was so sharp, he didnt even feel it, but he had a large and deep cut on his arm. The blood was comming out and dripping down his arm.

His eyes began to glow red, and it was clearly visable. Letting himself go of the wall, he fell to the floor, and even through the vibrations, kept a solid footing. A grin of insanity rose on his face. The room had a red tint in his eyes because he was glaring through his own bloodlust. Standing up in a blood-thirsty stance, his grin was clearly visable and his eyes were bright, almost as if a red light was glowing from them.

"hmm...hmhmhm....HAAAHAHAHAH! So you like blood ah!? THAT WAS MY BLOOD! The blood...of a dragoon. The smell of it...ahhh so invigorating!" Mystro posed in a deffensive yet also offensive pose. "I was thinking to much. Now feel what it is I hold as my streingth!!!"

OOC: this is not max insanity just yet...

"hmm...hmhmhm....HAAAHAHAHAH! So you like blood ah!? THAT WAS MY BLOOD! The blood...of a dragoon. The smell of it...ahhh so invigorating!"

"Oh, injured baby wants to cry to me?" smirked Thiftor. "Shia sent us the wrong
heroes."

"Im suprised this one survived the attack." said Shosta in an unemotional tone.

"He was on the walls hiding." said Thiftor. "But I guess all it took for him to come out was a little blood."

Thiftor then began charging at Mystro. He tore earth from the ground using Mana and hurled it at the hero as he went in for the punch.

Ahrexia continued to dodge the spells flying around him. Every so often he would swing his blade at Shosta or throw the odd lightning bolt...

He heard a crash behind him, and in a lull in the fighting he glanced over his shoulder to see Mystro... There it was again, that look in his eyes, it was the one he had seen in the hotel room, and he knew he would have to watch out for him over the ramainder of the battle.

Turning back to the warrior he was actually fighting he continued with the pattern he was following before, working with those around him to slowly but surely weaken the guardian of ice who continued to fight no matter what they did to it...

"Don't you read your fairy tales kid?" he said. "I'll show you something that will answer your question for itself."

Virginia then saw Thriftor punch the ground and cause pillars of earth to rise, meanwhile the Ice Elemental punched the ceiling and caused Icicles to form and fall on top of the group.

Virginia smiled, it has been a while since she fought someone of a challenge, if it was an unexpected Human, he or she would have been impaled or crushed, but something like this was nothing more but child's play, like climbing the buildings of her hometown. Running and jumping around the icicles and Pillars of ice and earth.

Grabbing on to a club-sized icicle, she came down from one pillar and came down on a charging Thriftor with the icicle, swinging to hit the earth elemental with something not from his element.

Seridaxon watched the ground rise and fall, there was no way he could keep his footing one he was to big and his feet would slip off the small towers and two he wouldn't be fast enough to get to Thriftor before he lost his footing, he didn't even worry about the ice it would simply smash on him. Seridaxon was stuck every time he moved he was pushed back by a pillar of earth. Suddenly Seridaxon had an idea, as a pillar shot up in front of him he smashed his arm through it severing it from the ground he grabbed it and threw it at the ceiling it smashed and all the spikes on the roof that hadn't dropped began wobbling, Seridaxon grinned and waited for the next pillar....

As if a mechanical sequence, Mystro's eyes saw the Godlike human charge and an entire thaught process came through and left in an instant. His mind had shut out pain, so the he punched the flying earth pieces as they came, effectively making his knuckles bleed. There was much noise, so Mystro had to even shut that out of his mind. He was seemingly deaf. At this note, Mystro took advantage of the vibrations at his feet and timed his jump. His timing was almost perfect and enabled him to jupm at an extreme height, and he got a footing on the ceiling. Kicking off of the ceiling, mystro was going to land an attack on the arms of the god. He angled his gauntlets to cut down the arms of Thriftor. Of course he knew Thriftor would be in motion, but he also was able to calculate the momentum he was at with the stopping rate, so unless Thriftor was to sidestep in an instant, he would be inevitably hit, but with his power, anything could happen.

Thiftor had gotten hit by the girl with an Ice club and stumbled back. Of the three who decided to fight, she was the only one engaging in combat. "Hehe! I leave the last hit for you big one." smiled Thiftor.

He was running out of breath and knew that if the Mana heroes could keep going at this rate they could defeat him. Just at that moment, Thiftor was wacked from above by Mystro, his arms struck. "Gah! You still wanna play?" growled Thiftor.

He then shot mounds of earth at Mystro and Virginia, charging towards Seridaxon. "Well? fight me hand to hand!" said the god as he attempted a sharp kick to his target's head.
------------------------
Shosta had grown tired of fighting and Shot more ice lances around the temple. "Come at me!" she comanded. "Are you afraid?"

"Well? fight me hand to hand!" Thiftor said

Seridaxon grinned under his helmet as he watched the elemental charge at him, he tensed as Thiftor's foot collided with his head spinning him around, Seridaxon grunted as he spun.

"Aeva processor rebooting combat systems"

Seridaxon quickly recouperated and before he had even finished spinning he used the momentum he had to spin a full 360 coming at Thiftor with his fist aiming for his face.

"Keep out of this i want a one on one" Seridaxon screamed at the others.

OOC: Just a note to all those fighting the ice spirit, it is mine, so try not to pummel it pleaase?

It was not unexpected to Phallia that the element would have dodged the attack. If it was not caable of, then this "quest would have been a terrible farce. Before she could launch another attack at the ice element, it had stepped back and performed a combined power strike at the whole party. Ice spikes appeared everywhere and the ground began vibrating as if in an earthquake.

Her footing slipped and in desperation, took to the sky, her wings spreading out. Her skin tingled and her head shot upwards to the roof. Her ability to conjure ice skills meant that she could feel where ice and water was. It was thankful to this skill that Phallia was able to dodge them as close as she was to them. Howver, it took everything she has to dodge.

By the time Phallia cleared the last icicle, Shosta had begun to send another volley of ice spears around.

I see...no respite. Time to go on the offensive.

Instead of going into evasive maneauvers, Phallia dove deep from above at Shouta. The spears that flew at her were dodged and those that were on a direct course was deflected with her own ice shields. The shattered ice from the shield and spear trailed behind Phallia in her wake though and as she approached, they began to form. Pointing A.J (sword) in a straight thrust at Shouta, a slight mist formed around the blade in a sharp conical shape. The mist turned into a flurry miniscule of ice shards, rotating at an incredible speed like a drill. Coming down from above in the blindspot of any humanoid bein with two frontal eyes, Phallia hoped to hit on. Hwever, missing was also acceptable as she had something up her sleeves.
