Evanescent Fairytale {RP}

Ahrexian recovered in time to see Virginia grab Orin from behind.
"You don't know his capabilities! Never jump in like that!" Mystro shouted as the elf ppushed himself backwards into the woman holding him at knife point. Seeing his opportunity as he covered Virginia's form, he shot lightning along the length of his blade towards the elf once again, this time much mroe accurately as he could see what he was doing this time.

Orin jumped high in the air and struck it with his blade. A giant demon with a suit of armour came from a green miasma in the middle of the room. "This fight was a little too mismatched dontcha think?"

(OOC: Boom, done, finished!)

When Orin knocked Virginia to the wall she released her grip, a split second before Ahrexian could hit him with his lightning strike, instead, Virginia was caught in the mercenary's attack that sent her flying halfway across the room.

When Virginia came out of it, she saw a armored demon spawn from a green miasma and wielding a sword. Picking up her knife, she drew out her second, curved knife, the "Siorcco Kukri" and said to Orin, "Yeah, Non è una possibilità. (You don't stand a chance) Before getting up and having both blades in a backwards grip ready to face both opponents.

Watching as Orin summoned up a demon of iron armor weilding a huge massiv sword, Mystro came to the realization that this man was the man that was the cause of the demons he faced the other day. Mystr then began to remember sickly images of the blood. Remembering how he held a spin in his hands made his fingertips tingle. His eyes glinted a blood red, but it was only noticable to the keen eye.

With this being done to Mystros mental state, he lunged with all his might, delivering a powerful blow to the chest of the giant. It was able to tear right through the armor.

He got blood on his gauntlet...

Ahrexian saw the look in Mystro's eye, he recognised it from the other night.
"this is about to get messy" he thought to himself.
"Virginia, get out of his way!!" Ahrexian warned her, "We should try to keep the elf busy while he deals with that thing"
with that Ahrexian searched for the elf, seeing him land he charged the blade of his sword and lunged towards Orin, he knew he would probably not be able to cause much damage to the elf, but he was quick, and the lightning should keep the elf on guard, so he charged in, preparing himself for a fight, and hoping that the cat-woman would come and give him a hand...

"Virginia, get out of his way!! We should try to keep the elf busy while he deals with that thing"

With that, Virginia nodded and then shifted her attention to the elf. She knew that the person she's fighting against is fast, probably faster than she is if not just as fast. Still taking the opprotunity, as soon as Ahrexian's Lightning strike connects, she would move quickly and try to get a few swipes in with her daggers.

OOC: Sorry bro should have explained my character a little better, hes not a dragoon, he can jump so high because the pistons in his legs he uses to run/sprint can used to jump with, when running the pistons build up huge amounts of pressure before releasing it as he takes a step, in this case moving upwards (jumping) simply delays the time of the release of pressure so instead of the pressure dispersing as he steps it is dispersed as he lifts off at the beginning of the jump,if you want i can nerf my character even more, also the armour doesn't weight very much (any of the other players could wear it without any impairment to their movement or stamina just the size of it does not allow it).

BIC:Seridaxon had been watching the hooded man long enough for him to lose interest long before the man did anything interesting. So he decided to look around the local market places and try hassle some guards for fun. Suddenly Seridaxon heard something hidden under the sound of the castles citizens babble.

"Oh hell no" Seridaxon said under his breath. As he turned and ran back towards the castle wall form where he came in.

High Priestess Shia walked among the alchemy circle on the floor. It began to glow a feint green light. "Let them all come to the tree..." she murmured.

In a flash the library had lit up with the three women in it and in another it was empty.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While getting ready for the fight ahead, Orin had paused to watch as a flashing grren light had come. As the flash disappeared his opponents were nowhere to be found. "Dammit they got away? No matter..." spoke the elf as he turned to leave the castle for the journey ahead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally another flash of green light and the glow of the Mana Tree's core could be seen nearby. Six warriors could be seen lying on the ground. They had all been bought here safely. "Welcome to the Mana Tree heroes." Spoke the high priestess softly. "Do not speak, for I will tell you of the task at hand. You are the descendants of the Hero of the Mana Tree. I have gathered you six to protect the spears aiding the worlds light. A cruel misfortune will begin as a man is after them. You shall travel to these four places and get the four spears that reside there. They all lie in a shrine. Once you have found them you shall bring them to me. When you reach the old temples of the spears of light, you may encounter the Guardians of the spears. Please, you must not anger them, for they will attack with the almighty fury of gods. Now quick! you must travel through the green door in the corridor behind me!" It leads to the cold tops of the montains to the west. Please, heroes, take care."

With that the heroes of Mana had enterd through the door awaiting their destiney.

(OOC: I know it was a little rushed, but you get the general idea right? Now that everyone is together, you have a chance to meet one another and travel together in teams. You start of in the cold tops of the mountain range. You may rest seeing as there will be no threats....yet. That sneaky Orin might show up!)
Events:
Gather the Spear of the mountain!-mandatory-all
- the first task in your journey is to aquire the spear of the mountain. It is a small trek to the temple in the snow :P

Virginia landed in the cold snowy mountaintops, completely unsure as to wear exactly she landed, What made it worse is that she was in the Cold mountaintops and she had no winter clothing on. The first thing that comes out of her mouth the second she got up was, "Well this sucks."

Having only caught a glimpse of the inside of the room before, it seemed to be a tree of some kind Ahrexian was caught off guard when the next sight to meet his eyes were the snow capped peaks of a mountain range.
"What the hell just happened?" He said aloud, not even thinking to keep it to himself, he was frustrated that the elf had got away. As he pulled himself to his feet he realised he was still holding his sword even. Sheathing it, he turned to the group, and saw three new members of the group, people he had not seen before.
"Who might you two be?" He asked...

Before Seridaxon had landed on the other side of the wall he was teleported up to a snowy mountain top with five others. He quickly engaged his combat systems unsure how to take the newcomer.

"Who are you what have you done to me" He shouted raising his fists ready to fight.

In a blink of an eye, Phallia had teleported to two different place. It wasn't that she didnt expect something, as the Head Priestess did say that she will be performing some magic, but Phallia had never teleported before and i made her a bit dizzy. By the time she got her bearings back, she, plus the girl from the tavern and some strangers were atop a snowing mountain. Her cloak, thankfully, was still in her hands from when she pulled it off. While this type of temperature may affect some, Phallia, with her own elemental affinity being ice, was not affected.

"Who might you two be?"

"Who are you what have you done to me?"

At once two of the four spoke. Phallia had no real, solid answer, but that of what the Priestess had said. Shaking off the gathering snow on her wings before folding it back, Phallia changed her pose to a more casual type, whilst covertly resting her hands on the hilts of her swords. These two seemed a bit on edge.

Ahem. I may ask you the same thing...about who you are. As for where are we, by some twisted and odd logic, it seems we are atop a mountain with a shrine buried within and we are in need of extracting it. For a geographical answer...that i can't answer you.

Landing with a hard thud on the mountaintop Vargan found himself surrounded by strangers, percieving some kind of ambush created by sorcerers he unsheathed his claymore and readied it in front of himself "Magic... As cowardly as it comes, who are you? Don't think i'll go down without a fight!" The 5 all seemed uniquely different, this couldn't be your standard issue ambush but at the same time Vargan couldn't let down his guard, no matter how strange the enemy.

After a short moment he noticed that, if this even was an ambush it seemed too poorly planned, they all seemed as confused as he was, lowering his blade but not sheathing it in case he was wrong he composed himself with a crack of his neck. "On second thoughts, I don't think that you're here to kill me... And I doubt that asking you where we are is going to help. Going alone could be dangerous in this climate so at least for now I think a temporary alliance would be in order, at least till we're off this godforsaken rock".

Mystro had a spark of his insanity fade, as the blood was no longer on him, and he was not too into a poor mental state, so his eyes reverted. Looking around, baffled as to what happened, he noticed something. There were many different species gathered, and he was unsure if there were any two of the same. But he began to feel connections between them all. There was much confusion, but Mystro went about it differently than the rest.

While the others were gabbing about, he secluded himself from the crowd and went to sit in the snow and wait for them to decide on a possible theory as to what happened. He figured it would go unnoticed if he went a visable distance away due to the utter confusion.

That was timing was either rumluck or it was planned by the elf. Of course, it seems that we all have good souls, I feel no evil here. And about this location. It feels familiar, but of course, I won't remember. How do I know it?

The teleportation spell caught Kyrie off-guard. Once she landed in the mountains, she felt like her insides were about to become her outsides. Her stomach was unsettled as the High Priestess spoke. When she finished, Kyrie quietly walked over to the edge of the large landing they stood on, and relieved herself of the contents of her stomach, such as they were. As she regained her bearings, she realized two things. First, she was not too far from the Aerie. Second, she was in a group of people, the majority of whom she did not know. Introductions began to flow fast and furiously, and Kyrie simply stood back, crossed her arms, and watched them go.

Seridaxon looked around calming down enough to abort his combat mode, his helmet lifting up and slipping away out of sight. He lowered his fists and took a deep breath in breathing out a thick cloud of steamy air if these people were here to kill him they would have tried already, so he decided to play it cool.

"Sorry for the anger, its a habit, so whats the name of your blade" Seridaxon said gesturing towards the lady resting her hands on her blades hilts

"They look semi-decently crafted"

"On second thoughts, I don't think that you're here to kill me... And I doubt that asking you where we are is going to help. Going alone could be dangerous in this climate so at least for now I think a temporary alliance would be in order, at least till we're off this godforsaken rock"
"I agree, until we can find a safe way down this mountain." Virginia responded, though she was a little cold, she had to cope with it until they can get on warmer land.

"Ahem. I may ask you the same thing...about who you are. As for where are we, by some twisted and odd logic, it seems we are atop a mountain with a shrine buried within and we are in need of extracting it. For a geographical answer...that i can't answer you."

Virginia said to the petit young girl, "A shrine..." She thought of what treasure's might be hidden in this mountain shrine. "Alright, I'll help you find your shrine. My name is Virginia Venierno."

Mystro then noticed that they all began to function as a whole, and work together. The confusion was calming, and Mystro had been therorizing where they were and where the goal was. After a while, he stood up and shouted, "HEY!" He wondered if they would pay attention. "Introductions and formalities should be last! We need to figure out why we are here, and how to do what has to be done! Any offers for a general leader? An experienced one?" Mystro waited for responses, and he walked to Ahrexian saying "Think we have comrads or foes?"

"I'd stay calm with this one Mystro, I think we'll be OK, just keep an eye out for the big one, he's caused me personally more than enough trouble.."
He looked round at the group as well.
"A shrine you say? Well what are we waiting for? Let's get this over with. I'm freezing and I'm sure this mountain air is doing very little but freezing the insides of my lungs..."
"Inside the mountain..." he thought to himself.
"well as for a leader I do not know, but if we are looking for a structure inside a mountain I suggest we head downwards, it would be almost impossible to build something inside the top of a mountain, it'd be too unsafe, and a shrine... sounds like something you'd want to last."

((OOC: All right. Time for me to come in… I’m not filled in with much details either, so apologies for the short post. Here’s my character Unity Ilf – for reference. ))

Hearing the last person speak about finding a shrine, Unity smiled to herself. “Except,” She began, her voice loud enough for the group to hear amidst the howling of the wind. “I’ll be leading the way.” Instinctively, she drew over her head the hood of her cloak. Her appearance, paired with the whiteness of the snowy mountain, would probably scare the guts out of all but the most courageous.

Nevertheless, that done, she stepped out to the group, making sure to keep some distance. Pleased to finally be able to address someone after having waited in this cold mountain, she continued,” I am another Hero, sent by the High Priestess, Shia, herself to aid you all. You seek the spears, and I shall help you along with that.”

Now, crossing her arms over, she glanced over to the other heroes. The hood enshrouded the upper half of her face, but still allowed vision. The other Heroes were composed of many other races, and while she would amuse herself with this fact, she realized she had other duties.

Gesturing over to the group, she waved them over. “Well then. Follow me, I will lead you all to the Temple.” Turning away from the group, she began walking further up the mountain.
