The only thing would be picking a name and who would lead the linkshell. To make one we'll need 15,000 Gil & Level 25 (which by the time your Level 25 you'll have that easy)

Anywho I made a new character this morning and I must say Lancer is a helluvalot better than I thought, I deal alot of damage and debuffs in a short amount of time managed to get her to level 17 not too shabby in just a day xD I got pretty far story wise too its rather good further down the line.

Though since Cactuar was down I went and made her in Leviathan xD;.

If someone wants to make the linkshell be sure to say so xD I'd do it since I have some experience as a guild leader but I figure someone may want to make it.

There a dye quest you can do at level 15 to give your character better coloured clothes.... Made my characters clothes from a yucky blue to red

@Steve-O I think your character looks so pretty! I didn't know we were able to take in-game shots and share them. o_o I should try doing that next time around during Phase 4. Also, thanks for the heads up on the dye quest. I like how much customization we have so far with this game. ^^

@Yu Narukami Another lovely looking miqo'te for your Lancer, eh? xD Since we're gonna be a linkshell full of 'em it seems, lol. The blue gear actually looks pretty cool!

Regarding LS stuff -- The linkshells will most likely be destroyed by the end of Phase 3, right? I agree that we should have an LS that isn't FFF exclusive, 'cause it would be helpful to party with other players/non-members sometimes. Unless we wanna represent the forums and maybe use the LS as a way of inviting players into FFF. xD

I will admit that I'm a bit horrible at creating names for LSs. I think my first FFXI LS was called: "xoXZeroBahamutXox" and then I created another one called "Chocobo" something... >.>;

Yes I'd rather have taken some video of the badass dungeon or the Ifrit fight but alas I couldn't due to the NDA and its really hard to take a screenshot in the middle of a boss battle on the PS3 XD; I won't lie though it was awesome

I knew there was a Dye quest but I don't bother with them, Why? Because Lower Leveling is so easy and fast I change my gears on a regular basis I'd probably attempt it at level 25-30 where leveling is pretty slow. otherwise its a waste of gil I could spend on Potions xD.

Yes I love the Miqo'te Race, Catgirls are my weakness, and I'm quite happy with her looks, I kept her cunning looking as a cat would be, cute cause I'm like that, and a scar or two to show shes seen some conflicts!

Although I was trying to make her into a Griever Type I might reverse her haircolor to silver with black highlights or stick with my original red with black xD. I hope there some kind of system where we can change our looks later.

I'm glad you agree, I was leaning towards LJ's Linkshell, Although I like the option of a LS for just us, we may not all be on when we need someone, it would be wiser to have one open to all players and maybe even get some new blood for the forum.

I've been semi decent with making Guild names but eh only real original one was the name Divine Rain with would match Gridania pretty well XD.

Also I'm Leaning to join LJ's more since it'll be open to everyone.

Beta Test Phase 3 Schedule (07/08/2013)
Thank you for your participation in the beta test for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

The testing schedule is detailed below.

Dates and Times
July 10, 2013 (Wednesday), 2:00 a.m. to July 15 (Monday), 2:00 a.m. (PDT)
July 10, 2013 (Wednesday), 9:00 a.m. to July 15 (Monday), 9:00 a.m. (GMT)
* Beta test phase 3 will conclude on Monday, July 15th. The beta test phase 4 schedule will be announced at a later time.
* Testing of the new Lodestone will conclude on Wednesday, July 17th at 2:00 a.m. (PDT) / 9:00 a.m.(GMT). Please note that the new Lodestone will be inaccessible when testing has ended.


Testing Requests
Prolonged server stability test

Stress Testing on the Duty Finder
Transferring character data from Version 1.0
Basic functions of the PlayStation 3 version
Check for server stress due to battle system revisions
Verify changes based on all feedback up to beta test phase 2
In the event that testers are asked to test additional content, separate notifications will be sent.

Issues causing the PlayStation 3 to crash as well as error 90000 have been made a top priority. As we continue to investigate the source of these issues, any bugs encountered during this weekend's testing will be addressed on an ongoing basis.

Although testing of the duty finder was scheduled for Test 3, final QA checks of the system are still in progress. Stress testing of the duty finder will be conducted during Test 4 at the earliest.

We deeply apologize for the delay of duty finder testing, and ask for your continued cooperation.

Testing Scope

Test Worlds
For phase 3, the following worlds will be made available.
Group JP (Japan Data Center)
Atomos / Bahamut / Chocobo / Mandragora / Tiamat / Tonberry / Garuda / Ifrit / Ramuh / Titan
Group NA/EU (North America/Europe Data Center)
Adamantoise / Behemoth / Cactuar / Cerberus(*) / Coeurl / Goblin / Malboro / Moogle(*)
Ultros / Diabolos / Gilgamesh / Leviathan / Midgardsormr / Odin(*) / Shiva(*)

When selecting a World after creating a character, clicking Group NA/EU at the top right of the screen will display a list of worlds available for the North America/Europe region.


* Cerberus/Moogle/Odin/Shiva are recommended for players in the European time zones. Please note this is a recommendation only; players from other regions are free to play on these servers.
* Game content is the same on every world.

Legacy Worlds - Group JP (Japan Data Center)

Legacy Worlds - Group NA/EU (North America/Europe Data Center)

Transferring Character Data from Version 1.0
After logging in, clicking World Selection at the character selection screen will now display a list of Worlds including Legacy Worlds. Selecting a World with Version 1.0 character data will display any characters available on said World.

Please try selecting your 1.0 characters and confirm your character data has been transferred correctly.

Please note that due to a number of system changes, certain items can no longer be used or their attributes may have changed. Also, the methods for obtaining certain items and unlocking certain features may have also changed. Please review the following topics for more details on these changes:

Customer Support
Customer support will be available as of phase 3. Although support will be available for game-related questions, GM support is not scheduled until phase 4.

New Lodestone
Tests of the new Lodestone will also be conducted during phase 3. We encourage you to try the new Lodestone and provide us with feedback.

Please review the details of the new Lodestone test.

* Testing of the new Lodestone will conclude on Wednesday, July 17th at 2:00 a.m. (PDT) / 9:00 a.m.(GMT). Please note that the new Lodestone will be inaccessible when testing has ended.
* All blog entries, free company forum posts, and article comments created on the new Lodestone will be deleted upon the conclusion of the beta test.
* All images uploaded to the new lodestone will be deleted upon the conclusion of the beta test.

Login Restrictions
When the login server is heavily congested, testers may receive the following error message when attempting to log in to a world:
"This World is currently full. Players in queue: XX"
This message will also indicate the number of players waiting to log in. In the event you receive this error message, please wait until you are automatically logged in to the world.

Also, depending on the circumstances, we may restrict the number of players allowed to log in to a world. In the event login restrictions are put in place, testers may receive the following error message:
"This World is currently full. Please wait until an opening is available and try again."
In the event you receive this error message, please try logging in at a later time.

Beta test phase 3 will conclude on Monday, July 15th.

Character Data From Beta Test Phase 3
All character data will be deleted at the end of beta test phase 3. Although character data from Version 1.0 will also be deleted, data from the final save on October 31, 2012 will be transferred again at the beginning of beta test phase 4.

The Beta Test Phase 3 Client
The client for beta test phase 3 cannot be used for beta test phase 4 or official service. Please delete the client at the end of this beta test phase.

Character Appearance Data
Character appearance data saved during beta test phase 3 can be used when creating a character during beta test phase 4 and official service. Those who wish to use their appearance data should not delete the following folder:

My Documents -> My Games -> FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn (Beta Version)
PlayStation®3
(From "XMB") Game → Saved Data Utility (PS3TM)

* Save data cannot be used after phase 4, and can safely be deleted.

Linking Square Enix Accounts to Sony Entertainment Network Accounts
Square Enix accounts linked to Sony Entertainment Network accounts during beta test phase 3 will be unlinked at the end of testing.

so how did everyone feel about the beta?

i felt like the test went pretty well and the game is looking good. PvP is supposed to be tested next phase? (according to Wikipedia, anyway) Game is coming out next month... wait on the next test can't be that long. Hoping that the unresponsiveness will be addressed before the game goes live. Other than that, assuming more quests will be added in the lv 22+ areas of the game than were available during phase 3 i feel like the game is going to be spot on.

More or less I loved it, I like the story, battles, bosses, exploration, and whatnot.

It honestly gave me nostalgia to play the old ones again XD

From what I heard the Phase 4 Beta will be on August 8th, The beta forums hasn't posted the official date so it may be earlier than that depending on how the first week goes.

My only real complaint is "Clothing" I know armor and whatnot isn't supposed to be sexy or anything, but I would have liked the option for Chainmail/Leather Clothing like the Foestriker Clothing I loved that look but at level 30 its kinda stupid to run around is weak clothing.

I like to look stylish when fighting.

unlike most people I actually leveled to 30 with my main job pretty easily I didn't need to use the shortcuts to level her.

yeah unfortunately thats a problem with any mmo you'll ever play, you look like dogshit until you get close to endgame

actually though, the stuff i got from dungeons didn't look too bad on a plate class

i was playing pugilist for a little while but i got put off by all of the pretty blatant BDSM stripper clothing as a dude character lol

so how much of this stuff is supposed to carry over from beta? and the next phase is supposed to be open?
