Marcus: OK, I'll try first. *Marcus comes to the green spring. The spring was glowing with blindingly green light. Marcus takes some of the water into his hands and drinks it. Suddenly he felt the great boost of power in himself*
"I am impressed by your victory survivors...you did a good job but it´s time yet again for an immunity challenge and what an immunity will it be."
4th Immunity challenge
Inside a big cave is a treasure chest guarded by DeathGuize (the boss you face before fighting Trance Kuja) at the entrance of the cave Black Waltzes number 1,2 and 3 are keeping guard and you have to beat them to get inside the cave, sounds simple?
Well as soon as you remove the treasure chest a trigger will be activated and the cave will slowly start to fall apart, you have to escape from the inside while avoiding falling rocks and debries.
DeathGuize uses his claws to slash you
Black Waltz 1: Blizzara, Cura
Black Waltz 2: Fira, Thundara, Poison
Black Waltz 3: Thundaga, Blizzaga, Firaga
As always the best strategy wins so good luck!
Marcus: *As Marcus was approaching the cave the black waltzes appeared in front of Marcus. Black Waltz 1 jumped from the tree, 2 teleported next to the 1 and 3 float over the 1 and 2.* Lets speed up things. *Marcus wanted to test his new skills and casted Haste on himself. As he was very strong now he charged at Black Waltzes. 2 teleported and 3 flew away and Marcus stabbed 1 to death since he couldn't fly. 3 was readying his spell but Marcus casted Blizzaga on 3 since he had Haste casted on himself, 3 was falling to the ground but Marcus slices through him, only the hat left of him. 2 teleported behind Marcus and hit Marcus* You don't know with who you're dealing with. *Marcus casted Stop on 2 and entered the cave leaving 2 unmovable. The cave was pretty long and when Marcus reached the pedestal where the treasure chest was. Marcus heard a terrible roar and he quickly casted Protect on himself. Deathguise slashed him with his claws but thanks to Protect it dealt minimum damage.* I'm in hurry...*casts Haste on himself*... so see ya'! *Marcus grabbed the chest and after that he felt an earthquake. The rocks start falling and hit Deathguise. Marcus sprinted over to the exit as fasted he can, the cave was pretty long so on the halfway he started to feel tired but he didn't stop. When he almost reached exit he started to slow down, Haste spell wore off. The rocks started to seal off the entrance, Marcus sprinted and jump through the exit, the rocks now had completely sealed off the cavern. As Marcus got up he sees 2 is still unmovable so he continues to the campsite*
blank using his thief skills sneaks past the black waltzs, but without looking he is spotted by a black waltz which readies a blizzara spell. blank draws his sword and uses reflect and the spell hits the black waltz which lures the other two in and then blank uses thundaga on black waltz 1 which kills it and then the other two get ready to do a combined fira spell and blank casts regen just in case. the combined spell is blocked narrowly by a boulder blank jumped in front of just in time but it blew up from the force, the black waltzs were recovering now so blank ran up to them and cut them both down with his sword and wandered into the cave when he was pinned to a wall by deathguise's claws so he whispered a thundaga spell and this forced deathguise back so blank uses haste which had worn off and dodges his claws which get stuck to the rock surface so black energises his sword with some thundaga power and stabs deathguise in the neck which kills it. After this blank grabs the chest and notices the cave fall apart so he starts running like his life depended on it and notices a hole in the wall left by deathguises claws so he jumps through and lands in water so he just swims back to land.
Amarant stood in front of the cave and composed himself. 3 Black Waltzes and the DeathGuize, not your everyday fight. However, Amarant had a strategy already devised.
He approached the entrance and stood in full view of the 3 deadly mages, biding his time. Obviously, the Black Waltz' didn't use physical attacks and relied solely on their dangerous magic; it was the magic Amarant needed them to use. A strange method, yes, but it would proove to be vital in his strategy.
The 3rd Black Waltz was the most powerful and for that reason took the smallest amount of time to power up his massive Blizaga spell. The air around Amarant grew cold as the attack grew nearer.
From the direction of the mage appeared a monsterous Blizzaga spell, as it was unleashed in Amarants direction, he used his knewly learnt Waterga spell to create a wall in front of him.
What Amarant knew, was the water would freeze and create a massive solid ice wall to act as cover for him.
Just like clockwork, the water froze, giving Amarant ample cover and time to think his next step through.
Again, using his new aray of spells, the blood-red haired thief readied demi. Jumping out from behind the wall, he let loose the attack on the Black Waltzes. Demi, which takes the form of a huge black cloud, damaged the mages but more importantly acted as a smokescreen, giving Amarant a chance to get close to the mages.
Once the Demi spell finished, the mages were faced with Amarant; no more than a foot away. There was no way they could unleash their spells fast enough. Well, not before Amarant destroyed them all.
With venom, he slashed through Black Waltzes 1 and 2, leaving the third.
Amarant:"Hmph, I don't have time for this..."
Without thought, Amarant used Bio on the remaining heartless fiend, and proceeded to run into the cave. It would be dead by the time he got back.
All was left, was the DeathGuize. Amarant began to think to himself:
Amarant:"Wait a minute, I don't even need to risk getting hurt. Let's hope this works."
On a nearby tall rock, Amarant pearched himself, almost taunting the mammoth DeathGuize. With precision, the DeathGuize swung round and obbliterated the rock, propelling Amarant into the air; and finally onto it's shoulders.
With his teeth baring, the enigmatic warrior plunged a claw into the shoulder of the DeathGuize, almost breaking the claw.
Before it had a chance to retaliate, Amarant rolled down it's back and onto the ground, also rolling on impact.
Knowing he couldn't stop now, he made a mad dash for the chest a swept it off of the floor without stopping. The cave began to deteriorate immediately, just what he needed; strangely. The DeathGuize was very slow and couldn't evade the falling rocks, unlike Amarant, who was anything but slow.
Barely escaping the rocks, he emerged from the entrance, into the glorious sunshine and past the corpse of the thrid Black Waltz.
