Final Fantasy VII Remake

I could see them even taking out the ''£#*@'' in fear of somebody being offended
 
I think that video that came out was maybe just something to get people talking about FFVII so people would buy DOC and CC etc
 
What about a DS port with some updates?

I'd like that but I'm not sure about 3 CDs being merged into a single cartridge hehe...

Technically, it would be very difficult, impossible even. But the full potential of the DS hasn't been realized yet, so maybe. If you're looking more for capability, then the PSP would be a better option.

Also, I wouldn't see the point of porting it to the DS unless you somehow incorporated the touch screen into the game play, and not just to walk around the world map. But, on that note, FFIII achieved admirably in this area.

Finally, I really wouldn't like the idea personally, and I'm sure many would agree. FFVII has been milked for far too long - we should leave it to rest starting from now, in the hope that any respect gamers have left for this title will be undiminished after Dirge of Cerebrus.

But still... it would be nice, wouldn't it?

That's the power of SquareEnix. Slap on an the phrase "Final Fantasy", and your quids in.

Mind you, the FF title SquareEnix is working on just now for the Wii sounds interesting. Might buy it to take a look, which just goes to show how I've been sucked into that type of thinking too.
 
I thought that FF VII Crisis Core was a remake to final fantasy 7. Except the fact that Zack gets more camera action

Do not pseudo mod please. It's okay if Jazzel is going a bit off topic as long as it doesn't turn into a long discussion about FF:CC on the Wii. As long as you stay somewhat on topic it should be fine.
 
Yeah Cerridwen that's why I asked for a link to the thread about it.
I really don't think they will make one anyway, they update the graphics of one dam scene in FFVII to show off what they can do (which was ages ago) and BAM! everyone thinks theres gonna be a remake. Since the wee film has there been any other news or clips or something?
 
Ahh, okay I see. Yeah, just don't go totally off topic. >_< Go ahead and make a thread about FF:CC for the Wii if you want.
 
They wouldn't do that. Do you think after all the FFVII spin offs they aren't gonna add this and change that.
