How many times did you die?

I didn't ever die against storyline bosses or regular monsters. I did, however, lose to Dark Valefor once (I totally didn't know it was there... very much unprepared), once with Dark Bahamut, and no doubt a couple of times against the Great Malboro in Omega Ruins.

Now that I look back, that's a poor amount for a first play-through. Bosses should be tougher...
 
Yunalesca and a few of the Monster Arena creations were my only deaths. Moreso the Monster Arena ones like Ultima Buster until I figured out his rythm. Ahhh, also, I had just made it all the way to the back of the Omega Ruins and junk, took me close to an hour or so since I was still weak in stats before completing the game, but I got killed right before entering into face Ultima and Omega.

I haven't even finished, and I've died several times. About 3 in the fight with that thing when you first meet Rikku. Not Tros, but the other one. I died once fighting Sin's fin. And I've died about 3 times trying to kill the Sinspawn at Mushroom Rock (or is it Djose?). Still haven't succeeded in killing it. But that's mainly cause I escaped most of the battles on the way there, so my stats aren't very high. Lulu doesn't even have Fira yet.

Just keep power breaking the thing in the middle, it helps, ALOT.
 
The only time I died was with Yunalesca.
But that was 'cause I was unprepared for the battle.
I think I died 'cause I didn't have remedies for poison and zombie.
Aeons no use, so that stunk 'cause I had gotten Bahamut to do about 999999 damage or something close to that.
