Kandy-Sugar's Photoshop 7.0 Attempts

I like the one with the 'xx' in the bottom corner more. It brings more to the avatar. I love the border as well, it's really kickass. It really adds flare to it as a whole.

I prefer this version. The image has quite a dark feel to it and i think the xx is a bit too cuddly, it doesnt reeally suit the stock. Nice touch of colour on this avatar usually i wouldnt really like that on black and white but its a nice touch in amongst the vibrance of the white lighting and darkness of the black. I think it could use a bit of sharpening around certain areas though, itd give it some depth and texture. Nice piece overall though.

Gorgeous Icon. I loved it and voted for it as well. The little xx's are really add to the whole image, and the pic of the Lion and the Lamb is just beyond a gorgeous sight, and thought if you think about it. I love the border, and the colour shades used in this one.

Definitely in my favourite icon list. :wacky:

I saw you took up this request. :wacky: I was surprised to see how nicely you worked with a black and white image. I can't do that at all. :wacky: Black and white isn't my thing. xD Once again, adore the little xx's ^^ They just really add "something" extra to icons it seems. 'Cause looking at the one without the x's on it, makes me realize how much better I think this one looks. :D

Keep it up Kandy, I'm hoping to see a big update by you soon again! <3

Well I loved it. The brightness added that extra, shiney-butterfly-fuzzy feeling to it. As I've said, perfect without text. You do amazing when it comes to avatars, babe. <3 Keep up the amazing worksies. :D

This is a nice avatar, its simple and sweet, but it is rather bright I'd say. x.x;;
I think that was the only thing that was a little off with it. It didn't need text or anything else, just a little too bright, too many colors perhaps? In the end, the white border round sit off nicely. ♥

I really like this one, I'm not sure what the theme was, passion/love maybe?
If so you've portrayed the theme very well. As an actual avatar though it's fantastic, the stock is nice and clear, the lighting is superb and I like the way you've balanced the effects so that they're visible, but not too distracting. Great avy :D

The text should be bigger IMO, and I think you rly should get rid of the glow around it :)

I really like the lighting here, as well as the text. Those little diamonds and xxx at the bottom were a nice touch <3 I particularly like the red glow :awesome:

I gotta agree with Sab here. Although it's a low quality pic, it's not that bad for an icon. Text wise, I think something darker would've been nicer, and more suitable, but then you could also risk it attracting to much attention... >_<

I think you did well with the icon overal. ^^

I think I commented on this one. The text is really distracting. It's rather small... But out there. >_< It caught my eye but I couldn't read it.

Aside from the text, I like the soft feel the icon has. The swirls on the side look really nice, and the colours definitely all go together nicely.

Hope to see some new work from you soon. Didn't you get a new computer? Get to work, woman! :D <3

Wanted to comment after erading some other posts. I dont think this was low quality im assuming you just sharpened it yeah? I think it works well. Usually your avatars are very soft and smudgey looking but this one is sharp and i ike that about it. Not sure about the touch of pink colouring but i like the text. All in all a very nice avatar (y)

No words describe how stunning this avatar is, the colors, lighting is just something that looks like agoddess did it or something. :awesome:. But seriously, it is a really well-done; I congratulate you C:.

The sig is quite good, a nice simple tag, i quite enjoy that in this one. the lighting is well-done, and might i add; its a good couple <3. I'm really digging the text, although i do think that it could of been slightly darker, but thats just my own personal preference. I do however, love the sig; nuff said C:

This one's very pretty. I love the colors and the glow about it. Blue and pink, especially the star between them. Quite dream-like. The subtle effects are good and I like the vibrancy of the avatar in general. The text could be improved and placed in a better spot (maybe next to Bella's shoulder if not none at all?) but all in all, very attractive piece.

I do like this sig, it has a dreamy effect about it because of the lighting. I think I mentioned this in the LP section as well but I really like the contrast between the more softer side of the sig to the more sharper side and the effects are brilliant, I like the blurring of the trees as well to make to focal stand out more. I can't fault the text, it's horribly difficult to know where to place it when there's two people but I think you've nailed it. Awesome work! :D

I like this piece.

The subtle effects (circles to the bottom left) an lighting works well together to create a soft feeling. The colours work well together and a simple border completes it. It looks a difficult stock to use... I certainly wouldn't know what to do with it!

The only thing I don't like it the edges of the face and mouth. They look a little bit grainy to me.

The lighting is really great and Hope is really seen as the center of attention. The effects at the bottom look real good and make the piece look great. The border rounds it off nicely, too. Great job (y)

This was the best tag out the wole lot imo.
First and foremost the colour scheme is fantastic, it all works in harmony and thers not really anything clashing. I live the vectors down the botttom, they seem odd placed but i think they work well.It breaks things up a little but its not ott. Lighting is well done but i agree with graye abnout the static round the lip and nose. Was it a LQ stock? Very niver work kandy, you really should post more :)
