Finished Gundam 00 - will need to write a review for that somewhen - and have now moved on to rewatch...Cardcaptors. The Nelvana dub, not the original, because the original could never compete with the dub. I absolutely LOVE the voice acting; it was done in a time when dub voice acting was as its best - as in, a time when JYB and Yuri Lowenthal weren't the main characters in absolutely everything - and it's a wonderful trip down memory lane for me. I still know all the words to the opening song; it's like the Pokemon theme, or the MMPR theme, in that's something I'll probably never forget.

I really need something new to watch, but Cardcaptors will do for now. I'm not in the mood for another Gundam series yet.

If you're looking for something new, Id try out Stein's Gate. It's pretty good IMO. While the dub that is coming out for it is alright, you get more out of it with subs. The jokes work better and alot of the engrishy jokes are way way more funny. Plus the voice acting is just top notch and matches everyone well. Im more of a "Id rather watch things dubbed" but I watch whatever is the superior version IMO, and in this case, it's the Japanese.

I honestly am so far behind on anime right now and by the end of the year, I'll have spent another $600 on more of it. Im absorbed in Atelier Meruru at the moment though

Thanks for the recommendation, buuuuuut....already seen it. Can't believe it's by the same people who did Chaos;Head, a.k.a. the worst anime I have EVER seen. Not even Code Geass comes close to being as bad as Chaos;Head, and THAT is saying something. I did greatly enjoy the subbed version...although I found the OVA a very unsatisfactory conclusion. But it was a good ride whilst it lasted; one of the better story-driven anime I've seen since Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I'd rather watch dubbed as well - it's not as bad as people generally make it out to be, there are just one or two anime that are truly awful, and others like Gurren Lagann lose a lot of their overdramatic impact - but I've seen the dubbed cast for S;G and it's awful, almost as bad as Madoka Magica's. I'd watch it out of curiosity, but I doubt I'd get as much pleasure from it. Sometimes it helps when all you can understand is the Engrish, and the odd word you've picked up from watching to so much subbed. xD

Robotics;Notes will be out soon. I might actually watch that as it's being subbed. At the moment I'm only doing that with Smile Precure - which, by the way, is better than HeartCatch, but nowhere near as good as Suite - but if it's a loose continuation of S;G, by the same people, it has me intrigued. Can it really get any worse than Chaos;Head? Somehow I doubt it.

I'm probably due a rewatch of a few other old favourites, now that I think on it...

Oh I agree, Chaos Head was terrible. I usually dont stop in the middle of a series, but I just didnt like Chaos Head...at all. Dubs arent nearly as bad as people make them out to be. Most are very good IMO. The cast itself in Steins Gate for the dub isnt bad, they all do a good job, it just doesnt fit as well. It just has more of an american pop culture feel to it and I dont think it works considering it takes place in Japan. There is a movie coming out that continues it though past the OVA.

Im going to watch Robotics Notes as well. I actually have subscriptions to Netflix, Crunchyroll, Funimation Elite, and Amazon Prime so Im covered ^^

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - Episode 1

It a romance comedy and the final anime that in my watch list for the Fall lineup, was a really funny program, but had it cute moments as well, my tuesday's just became more interesting :3

Welcome to the NHK

I've only seen 2 episodes so far, but it's pretty impressive how they show the depression that a NEET can go through. The character is really likable, regardless of his abusive nature and all that. How the other characters react to his weirdness is so funny to watch too. Oh! The hallucinations! They are simply amazing and make the anime go up a level. I'll get back to you guys once I've seen the rest :)

I managed to get all the way through it, although I have no idea HOW I managed it in hindsight. xD

I don't know what people complain about with dubs, actually...I think most of the noise comes from those weird anime purists who insist on watching it in its "proper" form, because dubbers inevitably adapt the script a bit so it's easier for Western audiences to relate to, which they seem to think is a crime against humanity...but fansubbers also do that, so I don't know what they're getting at. I mean, as one example that really sticks out in my head, I'm pretty sure Ellen didn't want to "troll" the villains in Suite Precure. xD

Some dubs do ruin the show ("Giga Drill Breaker" to "Giga Drill Break" still pisses me off; it's so minor, but it makes so much difference...) but for the most part they're fairly good...I watched the first episode of Tiger and Bunny in dub the other day, and I cannot WAIT for it to be released; it's fantastic. It really works in dub, because it actually feels like a superhero show, with the over-the-top commentating and awful dialogue...and Patrick Seitz voices Sky High, and he's even more of a poser in it than he was in the original. Kari Wahlgren did a great job with Blue Rose, as well. Fire Emblem's voice creeps me out, and that's exactly how it should be. Oh yeah, I can't wait for the rest of this. xD

Mmm...sometimes the Americanization works, sometimes it doesn't. I think it depends on the show, really; the tone as much as the setting. Gurren Lagann got trashed by the Americanization, and so did Madoka Magica. I couldn't even watch a full dubbed episode of Princess Tutu, which was my favourite magical girl anime before I saw Suite Precure. But stuff like Ghost in the Shell I think is better than the original, because the voice cast is excellent and it just seems to fit better...although perhaps that's because I'm not Japanese, and obviously, can't understand Japanese beyond a few words. xD

Oh, I read about that the other day! I hope the movie provides the closure the OVA doesn't; I was so pissed with that OVA, it was just an excuse to make MAD SCIENTIST jokes...which, funny as they were, didn't really add anything to the show I couldn't have lived without. Although to be honest I'm more excited about the Star Driver movie coming out next year at the moment...and I have half an eye on the Madoka Magica and Tiger and Bunny movies, which I will watch if and only if they're not clip show movies...I HATE clip show movies; they take a fantastic story and trash it by abridging it and adding one or two extra scenes to make it flow. I will never forgive them for the Gurren Lagann movies, even if the final battle of the second one was much, much better.

...yeah, you're covered. I wish I had that kind of money; I can barely afford train tickets right now. xD

I recently finished watching Axis Powers Hetalia, and plan to move on to the World Series.

Currently, though? I'm watching .hack//Sign, since quite a few of my friends want me to watch it so badly and play the games with them.

Also, because another friend won't stop bothering me about it, I'm watching Kuroshitsuji. I'm not sure if I like it though, it's a bit boring to me.

[C]: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control has been dubbed, so I'm taking a brief break from Cardcaptors to watch it, because it's only 11 episodes, and it has one of the more interesting premises I've come across in an anime.

On a minor note, I have begun a slow rewatch of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as well, because I usually end up watching it around this time of year. It's like a tradition for me. xD

Dragon Slayers
It's kinda not what I'm used to. I do prefer the more "hot guys racing or beating eachother up" type of anime, and the version I have is in Japanese with subtitles, but the main voice actress is pretty expressive and at least it's up-beat. :)

New season of anime started so I am watching"

Code Breaker - decent for the first ep
Blast of Tempest - Also not bad
Jormungand - continuing from last season. Enjoying it

In a little bit Ill be watching Robotics Notes and Psycho Pass

this is what I'm watching this season

Chuu2Koi is funny

I've only watched the DUWANG subs for JoJo which is intentional shit subs and that was hilarious

Little Busters! is alright for now

Robotics;Notes is interesting

From the New World is pretty good. Lol CR simulcasting 4 days late fuck that.

Sukitte Ii na yo. is good.

SAO is great as always. ALO arc starts today.

My Little Monster is funny.

and haven't watched the last one.

So I watched Robotics Notes and it was ok. Ive been going into it not expected the same thing as Steins Gate, which most people are doing, and it was fun. It will probably end up being drastically different by the end since the first two series took crazy twists.

Psycho Pass is meh so far. It's the worst Ive watched of the 5 shows Im following at the moment.

I want to watch JoJo so I will do that some time soon. It may take Psycho Pass's spot if it doesnt shape up. I always give things 3-5 eps though and if its at least mediocre I still watch.

Chuunibyou. SO FUCKING MOE.

Also, I just finished watching both seasons of Ika Musume. Now, it's time to read the manga.

Still continuing with Hunter x Hunter, Space Brothers, and Sword Art Online from previous seasons.

Just been catching up on Smile Precure, which I've neglected to watch for the last couple of weeks...Precure Royal Rainbow Burst. Just when I thought that attack couldn't possibly get any better, they go and add a phoenix to it. I am loving how ridiculously over-the-top, even for Precure, this anime is getting; I'm starting to hope it'll be the third Precure anime that will get a second season.

Still got Cardcaptors, C and TTGL going on the side, but I'm starting to feel like watching something new again...

la arcania famligla , wasnt too bad nothing great now currently plodding through shakugan no shana season 3

I'm watching the latest episode (episode 6) of K. I'm still confused with the story and reading the manga didn't help me that much. The manga was about the events that occur before the anime. So far, the story's pretty interesting and some of the characters are pretty badass especially Yata, a hot-headed skateboarding clansman (seiyuu: Fukuyama Jun a.k.a. Lelouch from Code Geass). Still, it lacks a lot of background for each character and they release new episodes every weekends.

K is at least starting to come together with ep 6 though. Before that it felt like it was going nowhere.

As time has been going on, Code Breaker has really started to irritate me. Psycho Pass has gotten much better. Robotics Notes is very enjoyable. Blast of Tempest is still very good.

Jojo's bizarre adventure is absolutely a fun time. Jormungand has also picked back up.

Black Butler

It is so awesome. Of course I've been reading the manga, but I was still blown away by the artwork and the action scenes. Sebastian is so much more fluid now! The voice actors for Seal Phantomhive and Sebastian Michealis are a good fit - can't wait to watch more :P

EDIT: Sebastian's my favorite character :randompoke:
