Last game you finished?

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

It was an excellent game, and a breath of fresh air from the old Castlevania universe. Gabriel is a BEAST! All Devil May Cry fans must buy this game or at the least rent it.

Persona 3 Portable.

Nyx is such an unbearably long fight, it's so meaninglessly drawn out. It really just shits on the game for me. I also accidently answered my door to Aigis, so I didn't get the ending I wanted.

So fucking annoying, now I have to turn on cheats and wait until my characters kill him again with rush :wacky:

I just best Final Fantasy VII again last night. It was my fastest play through of the game and my umpteenth time beating it. I was at Level 65 near the end of Disc 2 when I thought, maybe I can just go through and beat it. Two hours later, it was accomplished. I never realized how easy this game could be until last night. And the final boss battles weren't even a struggle. I don't know why I felt I had to prepare so much back in the day. :hmmm:

I beat Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood last night after putting it off for so long. It was a really great game, a superb improvement from the second installment. It's a shame it was substantially shorter, though the ending screams out for another game. Now time to mop up the rest of the trophies!

My last game I ever defeated was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I beat it the first time back in August of 2010. Then when I decided to put the game back onto my account, I wanted to get that story out of the way.

Storyline was alright than the original Call of Duty 4: but not as hard on recruit level than it seems. The weapons were way cooler and should I say nah never mind can't use that word ;)

Overall, best game but Black Ops is still better or shall I say best CoD game ever so far. :)

Just beat Dragon Age Origins. Started on Awakening, but I feel really unhappy about the way I left DAO's ending, so I'm probably going to play it through again and make better choices this time. This is especially the case since the choices affect Awakening and also DA2 if I ever get around to playing that.

I finally managed to finish Dragon Age: Origins for the first time last night. Bit disappointed with the choices I had to make for the trophies, though.
Alistair and Anora entered a political marriage and I ended with Zevran! ZEVRAN! Why!?
I'll probably finish it again later since I have numerous saves at different places.

Ultimate Naruto Shippuden Heroes III..
I beat this game from the psp in just 1 day. About this game it is like the ps2 version but more playable characters, new stories, new battle system, but shortened ultimates): yet it is still fun to play. Try it if you dont have naruto storm 1 or 2

I just finished Tales of Symphonia. I didn't feel overprepared or anything but the final boss was too easy, both forms. Still, I enjoyed it, and would happily recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs. I liked the characters a lot, and the little skits between towns was a great way of getting lots of character development in there without killing the pace of the game with superfluous dialogue.

On to The Twin Snakes next. I'm aiming to blitz through the MGS series in a couple of weeks or so.

Aaaand just finished Half Life 2. About time, I've had this game for years, and have well over 100 hours played on the Deathmatch mode, but never put enough time into the game to get more than half way through the story. Anyhow, awesome game, going to be starting on the Episode 1 expansion soon.

Final Fantasy Dissidia 012, Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection, a long time ago actually and Mario: Legend of the Seven Stars and Legend of Zelda: OoT.

The last two were the best, even if they are ages old. I still enjoy them more than most new games lol

Just beat Dragon Age II ten minutes ago. Good game overall. Very confusing and just fucking annoying at some parts. The last part of the gallows was impossible and I got lucky. The monsters somehow glitched through the walls. It took awhile to get them to glitch. I hate this game when you have like twenty enemies on you and you are a party of four. I have to say that the last boss was the easiest cakewalk I encountered in awhile. Why is it at some parts the enemies are so hard and the bosses are so easy? xD. Well I enjoyed it. The story was really what the fuck like though! The battle system is quite boring compared to Mass Effect. I do not think I want to play DA I. DA II was my first DA.. and I thought it was just decent. Meredith.. though... crazy psycho :hmph:.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn finally beaten. Somewhat overdue, since I kept getting distracted by work and other games. Anyhow, I have mixed feelings about the game. On one hand, the presentation is excellent. Pleasant graphics, good battle animations, great soundtrack and likeable characters. The story feels a bit slow at first, but as you get deeper into the game you come to appreciate it a lot more, and by the end I feel satisfied and am looking forwards to the next game in the series. It is kind of let down by some of the actual battles though. For the most part, the game is far too easy, and whilst the battle system has a lot of room for strategy and creativity, you don't really need to make use of it, with the exception of the final battle, which is quite literally the only relatively 'difficult' fight in the game. This is somewhat remedied by the puzzles in the dungeon though, which are sort of Zelda-esque, which are a nice distraction from battling.

Overall, it's a pretty good RPG for the DS, though overall I'd still pick FF Four Heroes of Light over it. GS is better on the storyline front though.

I finished streets of rage 2 a few hours earlier today. Went onto the psn and got my free downloads from then and noticed this in the 30 day free trial of games in psn plus section. It was a classic game i had on the megadrive back in the day so i couldnt resist. I alwyas remember it being difficult aswell so i cranked the difficulty down to easy and breezed through the game in just over an hour haha. Despite that its still as great as it ever was. A beat em up classic.

And Donkey Kong Country bites the dust! I'd actually never played this at all when I was a kid since I had no SNES, but I had played Donkey Kong Land on the Gameboy which was extremely similar. Since it generally seems to be considered one of the best platformers ever made, I bought it on Wii Virtual Console to see for myself, and I definitely have to agree with that notion, it's amazing fun, easily as good as any mario game I've played.

I am actually playing Dark Dawn right now. Still bummed about missing some items by not being able to go back.. dislike when game's punish you like that. :|
I like it so far, but I'll see how i feel at the ending.

Last game I beat was Pokemon: Black version if you count defeating N at the Elite Four the real ending. :\

Hunted: The Demon's Forge, about five minutes ago. I really enjoyed it, but I can't help but feel short changed, considering it took me just over a week to finish, playing for maybe one or two hours a day. It would have been nice if I had someone to play through the entire story mode with, but I did alright by myself...missed a ton out though, so I'm going to play through it again as Caddoc now, whilst I wait for the onslaught of games (Alice: Madness Returns, Dungeon Siege III, and OoT 3DS) I'll have to occupy myself with next week. I'd love to platinum it~

Full review to come as soon as I can organize my thoughts...

Hotel Dusk: Room 215

Beating this game has been a long time coming. I bought this game a few years back, and loved it. However, I didn't get to finish it because the top screen on my DS broke. I bought a new DS this year and finally beat it yesterday. There's a sequel out called Last Window, but the English version of that has only been released in Europe so far, so I can't play it. D=

Pokémon Platinum. Okay the game has been out since forever but yeah.. I didn't like it very much. Why? I got stuck in the Distortion World and didn't want to use a walkthrough. But I finally made it through and finished the game. :D

Final Fantasy IV beaten for the second time, this time on the PSP Complete Collection version. Amazing game, it really doesn't feel aged, though I suppose all the graphics and animations have been re done, so that helps. All the same, it was great fun, and the new changes in this version really made it even more memorable. The Lunar Ruins are in this version, so I'm probably going to have a go at that next, for the sake of seeing everything since I never had the GBA version, and because I want a crack at Brachioraidos, who's supposed to be one of the hardest bosses in the series.
