Last TV Show You Watched

NewsRadio

I could spend the rest of the calendar year proclaiming how much I love this show and it wouldn't be enough. A highly underrated 90's comedy starring Dave Foley, Phil Hartman and others, NewsRadio is one of the smartest and funniest shows that I've ever seen. Hell, it actually somehow made Andy Dick tolerable. THAT takes work let me assure you. I have the whole series on DVD, so I've recently been firing up the ol' player to watch them. Back in the day, I used to watch NewsRadio all the time, but I haven't watched it in awhile. Bad me. Let me just say that I somehow find the show funnier now than when I watched it previously. I guess I've done some growing up since then or something.

The show has a smarter, more intellectual college-crowd based humor than the usual lazy sitcom. Everyone is excellent in their roles, especially the late Phil Hartman as the adequately magnificent bastard Bill McNeal. While I haven't watched any episodes today, I... You know, I'm going to go watch some NewsRadio now. Typing this post swayed me.

Smallville

After two truly horrendous seasons, it looks like the new writers FINALLY got it right with the tenth...at least in some part. Plenty of intrigue, and the plot isn't quite so disjointed this time around. Honestly, I don't think Darkseid can hold a candle to Doomsday, but then, I suppose they've already ruined Doomsday in the eighth season, and they proved in the ninth that they couldn't do a decent incarnation of Zod, so they've pretty much run out of options for a villain...although Lionel Luthor is back, so the sooner he starts stirring up shit, the better.

Things are going relatively smoothly, and it's nice to see some of the better cameo heroes making a re-appearance...I don't see why they had to kill off Hawkman, though :sad3:

But Chloe is back now, and with Lex gone, she and Oliver are the only reasons I've been watching the show up to this point. So it should get a little more interesting again now.

Episodes

Quite funny I thought, but not as good as black books (same writers). Matt LeBlanc is fantastic, and it really makes you wonder is he really portraying himself (we can all see it :p)

Game of Thrones

Very good drama I thought. Had all the fantasy elements and was well directed and followed the book.

Heartstrings.
A nice sweet K-drama about the production of a university musical. I liked the soundtrack here especially. It is still a k-drama though. Predictable ending. Hehe

Currently rewatching Everwood.

I discovered it a year ago one morning at 6am when I couldn't sleep. It's incredible. The script is well written and the acting is brilliant! The entire cast are convincing and pull of each emotion-filled scene so it's not overdone or cliched. (The first series is perhaps an exception to this rule, in parts.) It's sometimes funny, sometimes dramatic, heartbreaking, beautiful, and uplifting.

A episode of Family guy

The episode where peter and his family leave stewie alone home.
It was hilarious. xD

Jeresy Shore

Its a great reality show and Im big fan Pauly D and his "AWW YEAH!!!!!" I swear I want him as my alarm clock. anyway getting off that I love the show and first started watching the thing late into the first season, as far as the italy goes I would of course 5/5 its freaking great. The intesne moment with Mike and Ronnie was just a lmfao moment Thats all I literaly been wanting to see this season since they showed it xD

^Sorry, but Jersey Shore is crap. :lew:

CSI: NY

I admit, I'm not much of a CSI kind of guy, but I absolutely love CSI NY. I think it's because of the Brooklyn guy they have in the show - Danny. I guess you can call me a big, and giant sucker for accents that sound cool to me. xD

American Horror Story

It's absolutely creepy, mysterious, and just plain kick butt awesome! Anyone who hasn't watched it-watch it! It premiered last Wednesday, so you're only ONE episode behind, and you can watch it on FX before the next episode shows. If you like haunted, creepy, weird stuff, then this is the show for you, loves!

Rewatching The Sopranos.

It's been a couple of years since I last saw the first season, I never got to enjoy the finale but I saw it everywhere as one of the most controversial endings. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the first season and finished it, currently getting the second season due to its ridiculously funny scenes. Paulie Walnuts and silvio dante are my two favourites in the series and I always expected them to appear within every episode at some point xD

Terra Nova

The pilot was average and each successive episode worsened as time progressed.

I only watch to have something to occupy my mind and prevent me from realizing how boring and repetitive my workouts are by drowning it out with more boring and repetitive tv.

:ohshit:

Four Weddings

It's a show about four different women every episode and they attend each others weddings and rate them out of 10.

The highest scoring bride wins a free honeymoon at the end.

It's awesome to see how some weddings are done!

I'm getting so many ideas! Seeing things I've never seen before!

The Big Bang Theory

I will admit that this show does have the moments that make me question it sometimes, but it's pretty much a good show. The episode I watched was today's new episode and pretty much was funny. I hate to admit it, but the star of today's episode was Penny, and usually I don't say that lightly because I don't like her that much. :lew:

So, yeah go Penny. :busta:

:ohshit:

It's the dinosaur version of Falling Skies. :hmph:

Watched the new episode of House on Tuesday afternoon (aired Monday night, I watch it the next day). I'm hoping season 8 ends the series well, and so far it's quite good. The same humor I enjoyed in the first seven seasons, and it's shaping out to be much, much better than season 7.

It's the dinosaur version of Falling Skies. :hmph:

That reminds me, I was going to watch Falling Skies :hmmm: I even have a few episodes DL'd :lew:

Skins. (UK Version)

I have only just finished watching season 1 and 2 of skins.

There are 5 or 6 seasons in total so far but I refuse to watch any more because every second season they change characters and I've grown much too fond of the first Gen characters, I can't see myself getting used to new ones.

Season 1 was amazing, I loved almost every episode and I fell in love with almost every character, they seemed so true to life and reminded me of real teens though maybe a tiny bit over the top.

Season 2 became very depressing and I actually felt disturbed after almost every ep. It kind of ruined it because all the characters in season 1 were so fun and stuff and then they turned out to be so depressive in the second season I guess it had to happen for the story to progress... :(

Overall I rate Skins season 1 and 2 a 8/10

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I love this show and its crazyiness. I remember when it aired and when it was picked from that contest thing. I'm so glad it won, I wouldn't get my TV laughs if it didn't exist (well, M.A.S.H gets me to laugh). I absolutely love all the characters in it, especially Dee and Charle. :awesome:

Two Broke Girls

A new show about two waitresses trying to save up money for a cupcake store/something. So far its been pretty good, though sometimes the jokes are really weird/awkward and some things (first episodes) are really graphic.
I'm glad its picking up though -- finally a show (well you know what type I mean) for women!

Last Man Standing

Its pretty good, I've only see two episodes though. Makes me laugh just enough to keep me watching, at least sometimes.

The Big Bang Theory

I watch it every time I can catch it. Another great show. I have to say Sheldon and Penny are my favorite characters, though this doesn't mean I hate the others or think they aren't funny. They just make me laugh the most.

Tower Prep

Cool show. I enjoyed it. It was on Foxtel when I was over at my mates tonight.

I like how each of the kids have unique and interesting abilities. It makes the show more interesting.

Wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again, but it's okay if you're just flicking through the channels.

Melissa and Joey

I watched the whole first season in under two days. It was so funny, a bit forced at first, but got better and better. Plus it gives me an excuse to try to watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch again, and I've always loved Melissa Joan Hart.

Junior Masterchef Australia 2011

OMG I am so going to get my kids into this program if I ever have any. XD

Kids are so enthusiastic about things when they're young so it'll be nice to have some little chefs cooking up some awesome meals for Steve and myself. :britt:

Everytime I watch this I'm like "OMG" they're just so creative! They just go for it! I'm scared to try new things in case I screw it up but they are just so good! Even when they present the food at the end, they just do it so awesomely!
