The Joker
Ex-Soldier
NewsRadio
I could spend the rest of the calendar year proclaiming how much I love this show and it wouldn't be enough. A highly underrated 90's comedy starring Dave Foley, Phil Hartman and others, NewsRadio is one of the smartest and funniest shows that I've ever seen. Hell, it actually somehow made Andy Dick tolerable. THAT takes work let me assure you. I have the whole series on DVD, so I've recently been firing up the ol' player to watch them. Back in the day, I used to watch NewsRadio all the time, but I haven't watched it in awhile. Bad me. Let me just say that I somehow find the show funnier now than when I watched it previously. I guess I've done some growing up since then or something.
The show has a smarter, more intellectual college-crowd based humor than the usual lazy sitcom. Everyone is excellent in their roles, especially the late Phil Hartman as the adequately magnificent bastard Bill McNeal. While I haven't watched any episodes today, I... You know, I'm going to go watch some NewsRadio now. Typing this post swayed me.
