Last TV Show You Watched

Lirael It really does only get better :ryan: You will love it. <3

Ocean Girl Season 2 Disc 2

I'm getting through these seasons quickly as they are only half an hour episodes.

It's sooo good though. <3 Reminds me of when I used to come home from school and watch it in the afternoon. <3

I can't believe Neri doesn't act anymore. Well Marzena Godecki the actress who played Neri anyway. :sad3:

Terra Nova

I only watch it for the hotot women dinosaurs**.

Having the biggest budget on television allows the production staff & writers to lay on extra thick layers of cheesy corniness which causes me to question why I subject myself to the awkwardness at times.

Despite this, it is becoming a tiny bit interesting. My boob tube o meter is slowly but surely pulling out of its headlong descent into a bottomless pit of: tv mediocrity, and nosing up in positive flight attitude towards: vaguely interesting & entertaining.

Like I said the only reason I bother watching is the dinosaurs. :argor:

Ocean Girl Season 2

I just finished watching Season 2 tonight and I cried at the end. :sad3:

I was happy to see that Neri stayed on Earth. Even though I knew that was going to happen anyway, it was still sad to see her sister Mayra leave. She just found her and now she has to say goodbye. :sad3:

Two more seasons to go! I love this T.V. show. <3

Forbidden Science

One of those softcore porn series' that appear on Cinemax, but you know what there was actually a decent story to it. Granted some of the scenes were questionable. I wouldn't consider it a porn series, but rather a very graphic science fiction show. :wacky:

Anyways, it's not the best, but it wasn't all that bad. ^^

well, the last TV show i watched must be what i am currently watching, it is my recorded Smackdown from earlier this evening, it's the Christmas session, Mark Henry just beat Daniel Bryan, can't believe that, wanted Bryan to take the world heavy weight championship. damn so wanted a different outcome.

anyway, i have watched Smackdown and Raw for a long long time, and i enjoy wrestling, it's just soooo entertaining.

Masterchef: The Professionals - Series 4 on BBC iPlayer.

I'm quite the fan of good food shows... River Cottage, Jamie Oliver, Come Dine with Me... I used to LOVE Masterchef, but it went downhill for a couple of seasons. :( However, this season with Michelle Roux is pretty good!

I HATE watching them prepare meat - the pidgeon they prepared yesterday was just... nasty - but I love seeing the variety of dishes they create. Some of them are so imaginative! :) They show how cooking can be an art!

True Blood Season 4

Promising so far, though I find their portrayal of "Wiccans" and witches poorly researched and incorrectly implemented. Being a pagan myself, having to watch their "rituals" and "circles" and all the other made-up-for-public-consumption crap they're spewing out is tiring me out very quickly.

Watched 16 & Pregnant on MTV yesterday. Made me feel bad for all these people involved, but I guess they make money out of the whole episode, least I think so.

I love that T.V show! Not that I want to be 16 and pregnant or anything. XD I just love watching how they deal with their families and social lives, studies etc etc when they've got to also take care of a newborn. I don't know how some of them juggle that sort of thing. I would definitely fail. Luckily I have no kids. XD

Anyway, the last T.V show I watched was Ocean Girl Season 3.

I've been watching it on DVD and I'm up to the part where Cal (the alien they found on Neri's spaceship in the third season) found his instrument that his parents gave him before the spaceship crashed into Earth.

It was sad seeing him cry. :sad3: Up until then feelings were foreign to him and he didn't understand much for a species that was meant to be more evolved than humans. :hmmm:

Still, it is an awesome series!

Masterchef: The Professionals.

We're nearing the end of the show. The food the people cook on there looks soooo yummy! :O Give me a spoon and I will gladly eat through all four dishes cooked by the chefs at the end of yesterday's episode! :ryan:

  1. Stuffed monkfish with seafood ravioli on a pea mousse and topped with chives.
  2. Chocolate fondant with rhubarb mousse, white chocolate sorbet and a rhubarb tweal.
  3. Wild salmon with reduced lobster bisque, saffron and fennel rice, courgette, prawn tempura, and some fennel!
  4. Dark chocolate panacota with orange segments, creme caratel (or something...) ice cream (basically creme brulee flavoured with orange peel, lemon peel and raisins), and a caramel tweal!
YES PLEASE! :D

It is so interesting to watch! Yeah I agree, I'd fail at it too, despite the fact I love kids... I would FAIL. :(

House season 7, episode 8.

Oh my gosh. :cali: I love Hugh Laurie in this role! He's not only a little bit sexy ;) ; he manages to play the character superbly! He balances humour with pain, anguish, love, disdain, smartarsed-ness (not a word...) very well indeed. :)

Most of the actors in this series are talented, actually. Wilson and Cuddy have been consistently convincing.

The writing has had its ups and downs over the years - I don't think season 4 was as good as the others - but the show has picked itself up and climbed straight towards the top again! :lew:

The over-arching plot is well-paced and convincing - things don't happen to fast nor too slowly; relationships develop and transform at a realistic pace; and people change (or don't change) realistically.

Each episode is well devised and I can't help but admire the variety of diseases and cases they have envisaged. :ness: I suppose it's possible the facts aren't entirely accurate, but each case seems credible and the show manages to make the human body so very fascinating!

Surviving the Cut.
This show is <3333
I was watching the one about the Air Force PJ's. I like how they take you through every step, though I wish they'd do more than just the elite schools. It's very in-depth, and when I'm home my Dad and I like to watch these together. It's one of those things that amazes you, because they push themselves to do things they were probably sure they couldn't do.

Babylon Five

I went halves on The Complete Collection, and now we're watching this in the afternoon, to replace Angel, which we finished watching a couple of weeks ago. Just watched the pilot episode, and...god, it's going to take me a while to get over how poorly presented this is. It's from the age where CGI was just starting to be used, and it looks absolutely TERRIBLE. But that said, the cast seems fairly interesting, and for an hour and a half pilot episode, it was pretty damn engrossing. Looking forward to seeing how this pans out, although I highly doubt it'll measure up to Stargate SG-1 somehow...

Currently watching Masterchef. It's meat dishes, which aren't very interesting to me. I miss drooling over fish dishes and desserts! :ness:

I just don't know how flavours work with meat a) because I've eaten so little and b) because I don't enjoy it. :( I can appreciate the aesthetics...sort of. A chunk of meat is never a very attractive sight. :P

Hell's Kitchen

Man Chef Ramsey is a nutter! I don't know how he expects people to be able to think with him screaming at them like that all the time.

I know he expects the best and what not but I simply could not do anything with him treating me like shit. >.<

I swear he's on some sort of drug. :hmmm: He's always so jumpy and snappy. Maybe that's just him. XD

Fear Factor

Yup, the show that brought fear and disgust into our eyes and stomachs is back, and more fiercer than ever. With a higher quality of television, the stunts are more insane and the disgusting food challenges even more nasty.

In the episode I watched, the first stunt was the contestants(they were in couples in this one) would be suspended on a car, had to gather 20 flags and all that jazz. It wasn't very exciting, but the second one where they would have to drink bug cappuccinos with a topping of either flys, tomato bugs or stink bugs. It was a stomach-tosser on steroids. The third stunt, which was as over-the-top as only Fear Factor knows how. Pretty much it was blowing up shit and breaking shit.

I give this episode a 8/10 just because it's baaaack~ :andry:

Currently watching House season 7 episode 16. :) The past couple of episodes were so sad. :ness: The series is heading in a direction I don't fully like, but I appreciate that it's more realistic than the alternative. The comedy is still there and still super! :) I love House and Wilson! :D

I don't mind the new girl either. She's so naive, she adds a new layer to the exploration of House's character. :lew:

The only thing I can remember watching a lot of was the Only Way Is Essex Xmas special... and my god it was awful. The girls look awful, I am surprised they can keep their eyes open with the amount of fake lashes and mascara XD
anyway, they're also really dumb, so even more of a reason to hate it. xD
