League of Roleplayers

Hm. The symptoms of inactivity are starting to show.. And thus, I urge that members of our Guild, in whatever role play you are currently in, to please be more active. I say this basing observations from the Final Fantasy IX: Fall of the Mages role play.

Nevertheless, aside from that, Xu doesn't seem to have returned to this forum for some time, apparently. (From looking at the Who's Online in the past 24 hour...) So I'm presuming she's away.

.. However, Ness (The Consortium leader), has been... Tsk. And never did reply my last message. Still, that's out of my jurisdiction. Similarly, you all are out of mine, as well.

But please remember that as a member of this guild, you promised activity for as long as possible. If you are seriously unable to proceed on for whatever reasons, at least have the courtesy to tell the rest. Even reasons like 'I don't feel like continuing' is a reason we can identify with.

That said, please bear in mind the rules of this guild. That is all.

True, but it is difficult to do so when your RP is linked to someone elses, if you know what I mean.

Fear not, for I have returned to continue! (insert heroic stance)

Yeah, expect the RP "A Kingdom Darkly" to be updated within the next few hours.

Rejoice, for our group's RP, "A Kingdom Darkly", is now in full swing. Enjoy the latest post. :D

Similar to Schwarze Leader's reason, I'll probably be popping in. Give me some time, and my bio will be up.

Apologies if this is the inappropriate way to go about the process, but as an avid RPer myself, and as a nervous person who always feels extremely awkward about joining RPs without explicit permission from the one who created, or is currently in the RP, I humbly request permission to be a part of this Guild. I am an avid RPer, when given the chance, and not to sound like an utterly arrogant arse, but I believe I at least have decent experience, as far as skill goes. Not sure what else to say, but I do hope to get in some grand RPing...it has been quite some time since I have actually been involved in an RP involving more than one person. (Excluding D&D, but that is also getting sparse.)

... Was there ever a specific method to go about signing up for this Guild?

In fact, joining role plays should be an easy thing to do. So long you do not simply butt in on the role play without first signing up at the role play's OOC thread, I don't see how you would get refused unless the role play's full, or the creator's just against you.

That said, I welcome you into this Guild, but, I hope you can promise to be able to participate actively in future role plays, and that you did not join this guild just for the namesake.

That said, I expect you will now understand the consequence of now being a Guild. (Muahahahahahahahaha)

.. That is, to have as much as fun through role playing, and providing a great experience to others as well as yourself.

You would do well to bear the first post of this thread in mind, and perhaps, take pleasure in the fact your name's now up there. When you join role plays, please be as active as you can, and if you can't notify others.

Speaking of which, on another forum, I came across quite an interesting story idea. Over there, it had been made into a role play, but since it's quite related to the theme of this forum, I figured it might be nice to play it out here as well.

bara.desu seems to be in a moment of inactivity as well, so I suppose his role play may well be placed on hold with his absence. Meanwhile, if interested, you could join my role play. Link's below.

Sorry guys, it's just that I've been really busy lately ( ;_______; ) what with college and a new job. However, expect something today or tomorrow, as I'll actually have time to post.

Sorry about the long wait, guys. What with finals winding down now, I finally have time to just sit down and write to my heart's content.

The story is now updated.

Good to hear that. Having said that, it's my turn to see the examinations coming. To be specific, the examinations are just starting, so it's my turn to have reduced activity, though it's unlikely for it to affect any standing role plays. So, no worries about it.

Heya, i was always wondering if i should join, but here i am. Can i join? It'll be a good oplace to recruit rpers.

btw, where are you from Valkyrur cuz my examinations started recently too. Yesterday to be precise.

Hm, possibly not with you. I'm in Singapore. Today was my science practical examination. The written papers will start all next week. By then, my posts should be rather limited, though I'll make sure not to scrimp on quality. We here are having the GCE 'O' Levels examinations.

It's a rather common national examination in many countries, apparently. Is that the same one that you taking? Nevertheless.

That said, I expect you will now understand the consequence of now being a Guild. (Muahahahahahahahaha)

I know next to nothing about guilds, which is strange since I played Guild Wars for a few years. A group of RPers that get together, brainstorm some ideas of the roleplay section slows down and possibly poking some of them if they're inactive =p. Is that about right?

Well I'm new to the forum, trying to find a spot in an RP somewhere. Currently working on a profile topic. I've been RPing for awhile though, I love it. So anyway, I'd like to join. Sounds like fun. I love discussing RP stuff, though I have to admit that participating in them is slightly more fun.

I'm glad you joined....usually, Valkyrur, would be the first to greet you, but since I'm not going to wait for him. I'll tell you this straight up.

Have fun in RP's, both for you and for everyone else, and try to be on as much as possible. If you can't be on for a specific reason, please tell someone, they'll understand.

He would probably make the full thing about "the consequence of joining a guild" but I'm afraid he might be creeping out the newcomers.

Heh. True enough, Schwarze Leader. I welcome you into the Guild. Not to worry, although I do attach 'consequences to joining a guild'. It isn't as serious as you would think. I wouldn't order your execution just because you failed to abide by the rules... Or your assassination for that matter- I'd rather spend my money on a new computer, I'd say.

But who cares. Here's your official welcome to the Guild.

I expect you will now understand the consequence of now being a Guild. (Muahahahahahahahaha)

Just make sure to notify others if you would be absent for a period of time. It is rather irritating to actually encounter someone who simply vanishes into thin air without at least telling the others. The role play would then rot away and die, unless the members are still around and keen on reviving it.

... That said.. Welcome! :D

Wow, new members :D Welcome! And Mitsu, we just have to wait for Valklurs answer.

Anyway, I'm sorry for my inactivity and inability to post. But I will give my best to be as active as possible. Also, I kind of revived FF IX RP :)
