Miley Cyrus Teaching young girls to... Lap Dance everywhere

Ok I'll agree with you on the lingerie line. It's not really necessary for a nine year old girl to have one or to even have a line of anything. And the way kids dress. They're pedo bate. (We called them prostitots at my work XD)

But how is Miley reacting to this now? Sometimes when you're a teen, you do things, wake up the next day and think, "my God, what was I thinking!" (whether or not she was filmed) Sometimes the best way to learn not to do something is through personal experience.

Nobody is crying about anything. :ffs:

Most level headed post so far.

Young girls are out dressing inappropriately and lap dancing, ALL is right in the world.

What do you class as dressing innappropriately? Because that's just the way stuff is these days... I dread to think what you'd say if you saw the state of most of the people at my school :hmmm:

Usually the ugly girls or the girls that don't get invited to the parties are the one's like; "Oh, I didn't want to go to the party anyway, they're probably all whores there."

I wouldn't really consider this a lap dance, not by strip club standards like I've gotten. this is just more club dancing, grinding to say the least. It's just dancing, nothing more. It might send the impression that she's a "whore" but if you've ever seen Kat Williams speak about it in his stand-up, it's true, it's just dancing.

You're suppose to have all the fun as a teenager while you can get away with it, if you're not, you're a boring fuck. Seriously, you really need to get a life.

Now, if you really want to see something disturbing, watch this!

................

Yes, the girls with morals and the common sense to not lap dance on a 44 year old's lap are all boring. But at least we have our integrity. :griin:

I disagree with this completely and people always tell me how I'm always the complete opposite of "boring."

It's quite sad that we've all grown used to this. 'Lady GaGa dancing in her knickers? Sure what's wrong with that?' is the typical answer. The levels of morality have dropped greatly over the past few years and it's no surprise that teens are having underage sex while saying 'everybody's doing that nowadays, so why can't I?'
First of all, Miley Cyrus isn't even a talented artist. If I were her, I'd be more focused on my school studies so that I could find a job where I could use my intelligence as opposed to my looks. But does she do that? No. Her child profile is less and less popular, so now she dresses down to announce 'hey, I'm 18. Come get some' and now adults will start liking her too.

Sure, everybody makes mistakes and teenagers like to experiment. But for Christ's sake, don't let her make the same mistakes when the eyes of the world are watching her! Role models are supposed to be role models, but Miley is clearly a bad influence, and she's not the only pop star like that.

Ok video finally loaded for me. <.<

What she was doing was just dancing. By reading only the first post, I thought I was going to see a video of her giving an actual lap dance to an old grayed tattoo'd man sitting in a chair with a creepy grin on his face D: I was a little disappointed with what i actually saw,

But that's just how everyone dances now a days. There was a time when ball room dancing was considered dirty. I'll admit, I did not dirty dance much as a teen, but I never liked dancing. Lol was always too self conscious. I never cared that other people did it though. Haha and you don't have to be a teen to dance like that, people of all ages (K mostly the 40 and under crowd) dance like that.

We all have different ideas about fun, so if a person prefers to go ice-skating for fun instead of clubbing, I wouldn't say that's boring. It is what that person enjoys and you have no right to force them to believe in the same 'fun' as you. It's not a goddamn Bible.

The "if I were him/her" line is one of the most easy things to say in life, but really, how do you know how you'd be if you have grown up and lived in anyone else's situation? What you consider your standards may not be the same if you were someone else. xD

....yeah.

I checked and RYdia is right shes 18 this year.
So first of all shes not a little kid (y)
And 2nd yes, forget war..poverty..and serious matters, lets all cry about a 17 yr old doing what 'many' people her age are doing. That makes sense (y)
Didn't see this.

SHE WAS 16 WHEN THAT HAPPENED.

See the problem?

CLICK SPOILER :
Usually men who say that have tiny dicks.
: :monster:

The only reason kids "dance" like that nowadays is because the celebrities on T.V. act like that. They definitely didn't dance like that in the 60s, 70s, or 80s. But now that the celebs of today are doing it, teenagers do it too.

If all the celebrities just stopped acting like this teenagers wouldn't do it either.

firstly all of this went on in the 60s, 70s and 80s. People didnt just start having sex in the 90s you know (since thats what it all comes down to). dancing is dancing and while i may not appreciate miley's art she's a person before a celebrity (which you seem to think is some sort of demi-god status). burdening a teenager with the worries of the world is really useful isnt it?

she hasnt set out to teach anyone anything and even if she does have some responsibility to the kids who look up to her you cant expect her to act like a 10 year old forever. if parents find her inappropriate for their kids they shouldnt let them watch whatever programmes/films shes in and tbh 99% of everything else on tv since shes mild compared to the likes of lady gaga.

She gave up her private life when she chose to become a celebrity. That's just how it is.

She has to realize that people are watching her every move more than ever. Children look up to her and they do/dress/talk exactly like her.

that is utter bullshit and tbh i dont think that statement requires an explanation.

parents have a responsibility too, definitely. and its the biggest one though too often they encourage crap like this so you cant blame poor miley...but you will anyway.

and not all teenagers/kids are shallow enough to follow celebrities' every move, so that says something about you.

Point taken,

I guess I was just trying to show the kind of person I am compared to Miley :hmmm:

TBH I'm not at all surprised to hear about Miley Cyrus doing something like this. It seems to happen with most child stars as they get older, and I'm sure they don't want to be seen as innocent and childlike forever, so they're not going to act like innocent children everywhere they go. And tbh I wouldn't really expect them to. Just because she's in the public eye doesn't mean she can be blamed for any unsightly actions taken by her young fans; it's their own decision to mimic her, and their parents should take some responsibility if they don't want their children to behave like her. I mean, tbqh I think it'd be really annoying and inhibitive to be expected to be a role model for young people--sure, you might get tons of money and good feelings from having people adore you, but you'd be missing out on a lot of personal freedom at the same time.

And btw I hope 44's not "old," as some people were saying. I'm more than halfway there :gonk: 90, is old -__-

Okay, this girl is only seventeen. She's the Country's biggest star(except Gaga >.<)she's even on Disney. And she's supposed to be a role model for young Girls to look up to.

Remind me again why this young girl is lap dancing on an adult at the age of 16?

You have to go here to see the video;

Oh Miley...to her defense though she didn't know there would be cameras there :randompoke:

Momma/Daddy obviously raised a fool. Miley I see your future and its big and round and holds a LOT of responsibility :dave: What the hell is Billy Ray teaching that girl?

As long as she keeps her 'night life' away from the children watching Disney Channel and who sadly will go see all of her movies -- she can lap dance them boys all she wants to.

I personally hate Miley Cyrus and I'm in no way defending her, but I'm going to agree with the other comments on the fact that she is a teenage girl and alot of teenage girls (not all) do enjoy vast quantities of attention. I find it funny whenever people are shocked when a celebrity does something outrageous. Kinda like when Davide Hasslehoff ate the burger or whatever it was off the floor and people had all of these videos commenting about it. Yeah, because no one has ever eaten food off of the floor...EVER. Or the Tiger Woods thing that's going on right now. I'm sure it's real shocking that a rich guy has mistress's. Now the Jesse James dating Nazi fetish model thing is a little ridiculous to me but that's because I couldn't imagin anyone cheating on Sandra Bullock. And again, not to offend her but I don't remember her ever saying that she wanted to be a role model. I remember reading about the time she got into trouble because apparently on a episode of her show she apparently wasn't wearing a seatbelt during a driving scene and there was like a whole bunch of people complaining. I did find the Vanity Fair thing a little bad but it wasn't so much the naked pictures as much as it was the "ovely affectionate" pictures of her with her dad. All in all, what she did with the pole dancing thing did shock me, but didn't really surprise me considering she was already dating a underwear model who was like six years older than she was (I'm aware of how irrelevant that sounds). Anywho, I guess the best thing we can do is just not pay her any attention. I'm almost positive that her fifteen minutes of fame are almost up.

Wasn't shocked by her behavior, seeing as she forced her daddy and mommy to allow her 20 year boyfriend to move in, or she'd move out. I think we all know she's on the path to a slutty road, seeing as she always dated people above her age, dances like a slut at 16 and doesn't have a care in the world that her baby sister, 9 years old, is helping to create a line of lingerie for children.

Yea, yea, she's 18 now, but she wasn't then. She's pressing her lifestyle on the poor little girls who watch her show, watch her, listen to her songs and watch her videos. You know what she did at the kid's choice awards?

At the KIDS choice awards. She. Poll. Danced.

Wow, what a life she'll live. She'll be mistreated later, by a K-fed and all her money will be taken and she'll have a breakdown, cut all her hair off, destroy a car with an umbrella, go to rehab and let's see...what else? :jtc:

*And any man who thought that it was okay for her to do at 16, are pedos, because she was underage. :gonk: I can't believe that 40 year old dude was sent to jail for that.

Who wants to bet Miley had some drink-ies :x3:

(This isn't just directed at ya, just pointed out one part, ya know?)

Not just teenagers, but 10-12 year olds.

Wow, sure is normal. Yup-yup. Let's encourage it by allowing a young girl who is barely an adult, put the wrong impressions on CHILDREN.

Underage drinking has never ever happened before...ever.

Think what you want about her but to say that she's "pressing" her lifestyle on the "poor little girls" who watch her show is bullshit. Kid's don't read tabloids. Parents do. And it isn't the little eight year olds that are out buying her products and CDs. If the parents have a problem with her, they can turn off the tv and stop buying her merchandise. It is NOT her job to be the perfect role model for someone's kid and I think it's silly to expect that of a teenager who pretty much grew up in the spotlight.

At the KIDS choice awards. She. Pole. Danced.

Fixed.

Oh emm Gee moral panic, decline in moral standards etc etc.
This is a non issue, most people ignore tabloid shit because it's shit.
She was 16, most 16 year olds have had sex, been drunk, smoked weed or something harder. All she's guilty of is having a little fun.
I think Graye made the point a couple of times that this is what people do, not just girls, when people go to a club, they don't go to waltz.
She's done nothing wrong, the whole role model shite is more or less she's done something I don't agree with, she is wrong.

I actually agree with ya on this. At least where im at, Teens are all about sex etc. And some do it to fit in etc etc. It's just what it is. Do what you please.

I mean when your 16 your hormones.. ya know...? The fact that he's 44? is what creeps me out.

I personally never liked her but, the fact that there's girls that 'look' up to her is fine but, it's your choice on weather you follow her footsteps. Sure people can influence you but, you when it comes down to it, it's all on you.

I mean everyone grows up you can't possibly expect Miley to be 'a role model for young children' forever. Isn't that why she quit Hannah Montana? 'Cause she's getting older? How old is she now, 18?

I really honestly don't see what the big deal is.

To paraphrase; I have seen lapdances, and that was no lapdance. If anything, that was more fevered grinding and perhaps getting a little too into the moment.

I'm going to avoid all the role model debating and point out that anyone can do stupid things when you've got a crowd of people being party animals and Boom Boom Pow playing in the background.
