Most Annoying Character

Umm...where to start...

Vanille- her voice!
Yuna- again voice!
Yuffie and Rikku- annoying personality, but I love how happy they are!
Cloud- always acting so emo, and YES I know he's depressed about Aeris but geez!
Sephiroth- obvious reasons
Seymour- I respect him as a villain but he's still creepy!
Rinoa- though I liked MontyOum's vision of her in Dead Fantasy

there are more others but I'm tired

vaan's voice was the dullest voice to come out of a final fantasy game....besides that zell was pretty annoying to me, he was just like a silly little brat who was over sensitive to every word that came out of someone else mouth.
generally speaking though, i like most of final fantasy characters.

Anyone else find Ultros annoying? Everytime I had to fight him I was always underleveled the the fight was always very stressful for me. I can appreciate him but I hate when he shows up at very inconvienent times :(

Tifa - attitude was way too pushy. I wanted to slap her.
Cloud - too tortured for his own good
Brother - Borderline creepy lust for Yuna
Wakka - Way he talked
Zidane - manners!
Zell - way too overactive

And that's just a few!

ahh well firstly Vanille (seems to be pretty common), Yuffie as she's very annoying and pointless and has a complete lack of personality, Quina for basically the same reasons, Palom and Porom could be pretty annoying, glad they were only in it for a short while and basically the entire cast of twelve minus Fran

I actually thought he was kind of funny sometimes the way he seemed kind of full of himself, but the battles were always annoying because he uses Ink that blinds you every five seconds and it drives me crazy :rage:

My vote for most annoying would have to go to Rinoa :mokken: I've only played up to the first part of Disc 2 and I already can't stand her. I'm perfectly fine with Selphie's bubbly, slightly immature attitude--I actually like her a lot--but when Rinoa does it it's just awful. She's supposed to be the leader of a tough resistance group and she acts like a spoiled brat. I love when people tell her "this is not a game" because I'd swear she thinks it is half the time. I was expecting a lot more from her tbh.

@Gamingway: Yeah I did like Ultros. It's just that everytime he showed up I was like "Ah fuck!" You know, like that surprise boss you are not ready for?

And omg I forgot about Brother! He's one of the many reasons that I did not like X2. His lust for Yuna was creepy as hell. It's like they forgot that Yuna and Rikku were cousins!

First time I saw the sad ending of X2 I wasn't watching the screen and I thought Yuna and brother had something freaky going on!

Yuna: Brother higher!
Brother: Aaah!
Yuna: Brother faster!

D:

Selphie and Quina serve no real purpose in my opinion. Each game has a sufficient amount of light-heartedness and comic relief without them two to lower the tone. To be honest, I don't think either of them are particularly likeable, and thus, never really had any empathy for them.

Shadow is annoying, but only because he is so freakin' cool, and it sucks that he is in and out of the party.

I find Barrett quite annoying, but I can't quite think why. I feel his pain, which is a mark of a great character, but I just find myself irritated by him. Perhaps his early power struggles with Cloud over leadership rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it's the fact that he's a little too rowdy and in-your-face.

For me Vaan was the guy you just have to kick the living snot out of, he was the leader of the dullest group of FF adventurers ever. Apart from the gender identity issues, he just lacked any kind defining quality he was not moody or cheerful or indifferent he was just a normal boring guy!

Everyone else in FFXII was adequate for there roles, but if you dont have a strong leader with a social gimmick then it all falls apart, and there just a bunch of people with swords and wands doin cosplay.

Balthier,Fran,Basch,Pennelo,Ashelia were all good characters in there own right but the story was not told from there POV. No one out side of Vaan was annoying to me, even that giant cat Cait Sith

This this should be in FFXII forum but no one else in any FF game annoyed me....no one

im gonna say penelo. She was weak, didn't gain levels(at the same rate as everyone else). And her Quickenings were a joke. I dont know, her voice, the way she acted just made me wanna :rage:

I have a list of contenders. I couldn't pick just the one - the following are all annoying and I would worship whoever considers shooting or muting them.

-Vanille. Oh, Vanille.....where do I start with you? Your voice probably is a good place to start ranting about. You are meant to sound Aussie, yet your accent drifts into something else really frequently - which I found odd. There's the fact that your high-pitched giggling, hyperactiveness and childish-like dialogue at times meant I couldn't stand looking or listening to you. It's amazing how awesome your companion Fang turned out to be in contrast.

-Hope. Oh dear, FFXIII isn't scoring very high on the character front so far. I don't hate whiney Hope as much as I used to, but I still hate him on the whole. Aah, you suffered a traumatic moment. You blame Snow. You cling on to Lightning. You cry to her about how much you hate Snow. You then gain delusions of grandeur. Then you undergo a change of heart suddenly. Do all RPGs need this kind of character?

-Brother. Dan/Stang is going to hate me for hating Brother. Oh well. He was annoying though. His appearance - his voice - his freaky infatuation to Yuna - the fact that he thinks he is so awesome. Everything about him. Why couldn't he actually do another jump off his airship - this time a fatal one?

-Yuffie. Annoying most of the time. Likes to steal this and steal that. Get your own Materia! She serves very little purpose to the story and frankly, I've hardly considered her useful in battle.

-Rikku. She was tolerable in FFX. In FFX-2 she takes the house down with how her mental age seems to have deteriorated by 10 years or something. Her dialogue in battles "SNAKES, SNAKES, SNAAAAKES!!" is just so irritating and I tut at SE for doing this to what was otherwise an okay character.

Most annoying? Squall. I use to love him a lot, but then I fell in love with Siefer. Ever since then, Squall's attitude and how he acts has just always annoyed me. He talks to himself wayyy too much, acts like he has a reason to cry over bull-crap reasons, he's way to emo around the people he cares about. His fighting skills have always bored me... even when I liked him.

He's just so god damn annoying. >.<

I think Vanille is the only character that I felt annoyed with from start to finish. She's weak, indecisive, has an inconsistent accent, and has mood swings. The only thing people seem to like her for is being "pretty". Considering how SE designs female characters, I'd say Vanille is average at best...

Vanille is very annoying, but I won't go into detail why, as it's mostly been said before (whiney voice, weird accent etc).

And Snow. For no other reason than that wafting bit of hair that is in front of his face all the time.

...Quistis.

I have to go with her she just annoyed me to hell, I mean blatantly saying to squalls face "You'll dance with a stranger, but you wont talk to me", It seemed like she was causing unessacary drama. And she did that a LOT, and yet she seemed to act like she was above and smarter than all -__-

A close second would have to be...Celes Chere, I think I was the only person who noticed her out-of-nowhere character change. I mean strong and independent for the first part of the game - next thing you know Mary Sue :gasp:

Cait Sith for so many reasons. He talks to much. Whehe reades minds he doll does a dance that makes it look like it has to pee. He says a bunch of usless stuff in DoC. And he betrayed Cloud's party. TWICE!! He's just a little anoying cat who needs to go the pound!!

Vanille! Most annoying voice ever, and her giggling is so awkward listening to. I don't like the way she acts either.

Irvine! Hard to explain really, but one reason is that he is a womanizer, and that's an annoying trait in a character. xD
