Never Ending Rp

Twenty seconds later Heroc was at the village. He searches the village for an Inn and finds a small building on which there was a sign which said 'RESTING PLACE - for the travelers who's feet hurt'. Heroc has no other choice but to enter it.
The place had thirteen beds, and it wasn't so crowded. There was only woman with two children resting there. Heroc's spped spell wore off so he lyes on the bed that is near the exit.

''Ahh well, atleast I am away from the rain.''

After he said that a small water drop falls on his head. As he looks on the ceiling he sees a small crack. Heroc stands up and lyes on the bed that was also near exit and that it had no cracks on ceiling above.

She awaits a response. She hears someone coming up the stairs. Her gaze sets on the stair opening. "Its the strange man that was with the 'him'"she thought as she sees the blue and red hair. She gazes back at the door. The doors open.

To her surprise the long haired man that she avoided earlier was the rooms occupant.

"yes I am." the long haired man answered "I list knocked down my bag" .

"But all is fine now" He finished, all while smiling.

She noticed what a nice smile he had, and also the fact he barely had clothes on. She blushed and smiled in return.

"Oh I just wanted to make sure, it was quite a loud noise." she replies

Anyone in the vicinity could see her blush, and the halfway hidden smile that she returned.
Kinda cute acctaully.

"Oh I just wanted to make sure, it was quite a loud noise." she replies

"Well. I am fine, and not hurt. No items are broken eighter." he states
"So. is there something else?" He asks of her.
he didn't mean to sound rude. but the reason for her to knock, had been answered. and if there was nothing more. He would like to sleep.

"Well. I am fine, and not hurt. No items are broken eighter." he replied
"So. is there something else?" He asked

After his reply she shook her head. His tone made her nervous. "No just wanted to know if you were fine your majesty" She cunningly replies while she bows.

"Your majesty" He starts confused.
"What do you mean?" he continues.

"If I where royal, did you think I would be walking in the rain, waring leather? Not to mention this Inn"

He was lying, but he was good at it. This was hardly the first time he had to do this. Often people recognized him, but now completly sure.
Then he had to lie.

"I'm sorry, but I am no more royal then you. Now. if there weren't anything else" he completed.

She could tell he was lying, but did not want to make this conversation into a battle of words. She knew he was hiding his royal ties."But why" she asked herself.

"My many pardons" she replied "I will take my leave, take my comment as a compliment. Not many common folks would wear such fancy leather." She turns to walk away. And stops for a quick second.

She turned around and stated " Be more careful with your things" She smiles"You might wake up the wrong person next time"

She nods at him.And nods at his blue and red hair companion. Then turns around and heads into her room. Her heart pounding. But she couldn't help but smile.

"This might be harder than i thought" she chuckles.
She walks towards the window and looks out at the full moon. She notices how similar the moon was to the one in her dream.

She tries to understand what the dream meant."I'm not at my full potential" She thinks "yet in the dream I was"

She sighs and looks over to her bed.Walks over to it and lays. Slowly her eyes closes right before her mind begins to wonder off again.

Heroc was standing in the main hall of the castle he was living in. Next to him was standing his mother, succubus Marlacia, and his demon brother, Rathall. Then he sees another person holding a rifle that was pointing first at Marlacia. *BANG* One shot and Marlacia was dead. *BANG* Another shot and Rathall was dead. The person leaves Heroc laughing, and Heroc screams...

''NO!''

**CRASH!**

Heroc founds himself on floor. It was nightmare of the night his mother and brother were killed by the person he also dreamt, also known as Gerard. It was night now but Heroc couldn't sleep so he stands up, his clothes were dry now, and leaves the rest stop.
There was no one outside and the rain has stopped.

''Well first to find out whats the name of this village.''

Heroc then notices a sign that was next to the rest stop that says: ''TOMMOROW PRATUMVILLE'S TRADITIONAL PIE COOKING CONTEST''.

''Well here is the answer, now to see what can i do.''

"What are you going to do Sceler? We are far too deep in the cave for you to find your way out."

"Ah my dear Oti. You forgot how long I wandered the planet before being trapped in this worthless shell. I know every inch of it by heart. I don't need to see, to find my way out of this cave and to Gondon."

He let out a sinister laugh as he rush through the entrance of the cave.

"Gondon!? No we can't let you! Eric! Wake up! Please! Wake up."

"He can't hear you. That fool went to sleep."

As he got closer to the city his hair grew darker until it was completely black. A black, diamond shaped mark materialized in the center of his forehead. The shadows around him grew thicker until the only thing visible was his sprinting figure.

------------------------------------------------------

Charlie was just another sixteen year old growing up in Gondon. He walked the same road home from work every evening. It lay right at the edge of Gondon against the city's wall. He often would look up and wondered what it would be like to leave this place. Today was no different.

As he looked over dreaming of a future, away from his birthplace, he noticed the sky begin to darken.

"What the hell is going on?"

Just then a dark figure in red armor rushed down at him and grabbed him by the throat. Then all he could feel was the worst pain immaginable. He couldn't even scream.

"What do you fear boy?"

His attacker's eyes were swallowed in shadow and finally Charlie screamed.

OOC: Geez, how did this RP become so fast paced?

IC:
Jack lingered for a while until he heard a crash from upstairs. He hesitated to see if there would be a resulting chain of chaos beginning on the ground floor. The patrons on the ground floor took very little interest in the crash, however. Jack stealthily climbed the stairs. When he reached the top of the stairs, he heard a knock. He looked down the hallway. A woman stood in front of his room door. Nimble didn't answer. The woman went further down the hall. I guess she's looking for whatever that noise was, Jack thought to himself. Someone else was coming up the stairs. It was the swordsman Jack had taken the food to earlier that evening. Better not get caught, Jack thought to himself. He sprinted down the hallway, opened the door to Room 7, and started to close the door just as the man was coming down the hallway. Jack was supremely happy at his good fortune.

Nimble was in the bathtub when Jack entered. Nimble looked at him. "A lady was knocking on the door," Jack told her. "Really? I didn't even notice." Jack looked at her for a moment. "Did you feel that loud crash?" "No. I didn't feel anything. Maybe it's because I'm in the bathtub." Nimble looked unconcerned and she sank deeper into the tub. Jack paced the room. He quickly got bored and went to his room door. He put his ear on the door to see if he could hear tidbits about why there was such a loud crash. His imagination started to wander. Maybe someone fell out of his/her bed? Maybe the sound was the fall of a dead body after one had been stabbed? Maybe the sound was a treasure chest full of gold, too heavy for it to be carried anymore. Whatever it was, it was probably something interesting. Jack pressed his ear to the door.

"Excuse me.. I heard a noise. Are you alright in there?"
"Yes I am. I just knocked down my bag. But all is fine now."
"Oh yeah. Zotok you okay? I heard a noise from below your room, I just wondered if you were ok."
"Oh I just wanted to make sure, it was quite a loud noise."
"Well. I am fine, and not hurt. No items are broken, either. So, is there something else?"
"No. Just wanted to know if you were fine, Your Majesty."
"'Your Majesty'? What do you mean? If I where royal, do you think I would be walking in the rain, wearing leather? Not to mention this inn... I'm sorry, but I am no more royal than you. Now, if there weren't anything else..."
"My many pardons. I will take my leave. Take my comment as a compliment. Not many common folks would wear such fancy leather."
There was a pause. "Be more careful with your things... You might wake up the wrong person next time."

Jack came away from the door. That was interesting, he thought. Nimble had climbed out of the tub and prepared for bed. Nimble went to her bed and got Jack's attention. "Don't worry, my little Jack... you'll get your turn in the tub next," she signed with a sinister little grin. Jack shuddered. "You should be locked up for cruelty to animals. Whatever have I done to you?" Nimble chose not to answer directly. The question was surely a rhetorical one. "Well, I'm going to bed. Sweet dreams... dream of soap and squeaky cleanliness." With that she climbed under the sheets. Jack went to the other bed. "Evil child," Jack signed. Nimble had not seen him, however. Jack blew out the candles, then climbed on top of the bed. He fluffed the pillow and used it as a mattress to sleep on. The duo was in better sleeping arrangements than they had ever remembered before.

"Such a trivial fear. You were no fun at all."

Sceler fround down at the pitiful sight before him. The boy lie there wide eyed and trembling. He was mumbling to himself. Everyonce in a while he would scream out, "Stay away!" or "Don't touch me!" But everything else sounded like gibberish.
The boys scream was loud enough to get someone's attention so Sceler stood there waiting for his next victim.

'Sceler! Stop this at once!'

"Why, when I could have so much more fun."

He could hear the city guards nearby. It seems they were preparing for the worst, but they never expected an enemy like Sceler to be standing there. The moment they came into view, Sceler took a deep breath and blew his black flame in there direction. The guards jump back in shock. In a manner of minutes the surounding buildings ablaze.

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

"It's a monster" a guard yells "He is attacking near the gates"

Kelis is woken by the commotion outside her window.
"Can't i get any sleep tonight"she mumured to herself as she lifts her tired body from the bed.

"Hurry, he'll kill them all" another guard yells
she walks towards her half opened window.

"It is barely dawn."she thought "What can be going on at this time of night"

She looks down to the streets below.

She caught a glimpse of the guards running pass the front of the inn. Their metal armor was glistening with moonlight. She looks towards the direction of their quest.

"Ma'am?" a young boy dressed in guards' uniform took Kelis attention.

He was standing beneath her window.
She looks down.

"Please lock your windows and doors" he stated "It is for your safety"

"What's going on?" she asked him

Before he can reply a large guard, most likely a higher rank than the boy, passed by and signaled him to move on.

The young boy rushes to his fellow guards aid.

Kelis closes the window. And lays back on her bed. She couldn't hear the guards anymore. "it was probably a bandit fight" She thought.

"Maybe I can finally rest" she mumbles. She starts to reminisce about the short encounter with the so called prince. She let out a soft yawn, closed her heavy eyelids, and falls into slumber once more.

Crane is awoken by a commontion outside, he got up and walked across to the window and saw that everyone was locking their windows and doors.

Crane couldnt make out what was going on but he could tell it must be something big if these many guards a required, just as he finished that thought Crane saw a few buildings on the outskirts of the city go up in flames."what the hell is going on" Crane yelled to noone inparticular, but when a knight answered "theres a monster at the gate". Crane immedeatly grabbed up his clothes and sword and ran across to his door wrenched it open and began banging on Zotoks door."wake up theres a monster on the outskirts, the guards need help" Crane yelled with desperatin through the door.

Zotok was in the midst of the sea, with no land visible. There seems to be nothing at all around, but a random log, that he happened to be supporting himself on.
He wondered on how he got there, and why he was along.
He tried to feel for the obelisks, but not no effect.
Suddenly the log started to sink. At the same time, sharks appeared, and started singing "what should we do with a drunken sailor"
The sky turned green, and it started to rain fingernail clippings.....

*BLAM, BLAM, BLAM*
He awoke with a jolt.

"What the hell was that all about" Zotok mumbled to himself, half asleep. That dream was rather random....

"wake up theres a monster on the outskirts, the guards need help" A familiar voice called from outside his door.

"Bah, they get payed for this. Leave me alone." He shouted at the door.
Zotok had gotten a few hours of sleep.
And was rather tired

He lied back down on the bed, and started muttering to himself in half asleep.
"Lousy guards. can't even take care of a lousy monster alone...... wait.. Monster" His brain awoke. He fell out of the bed, while trying to get on his feet.

He peered out the window. he saw many commoners, as well as a few guards retreating.
He could see the smoke, and light of fires.

"Crud" he muttered to himself
He should do something about this. But what could he do.

He got dressed quickly, fastened his sword, and threw the bag over his shoulder.
He opened the door. "Nice timing, eh" he ironically stated to his companion as he darted past him.

Zotok used a few seconds to get to the main door, the inn keeper looked scared shitless.
He exited the door, and headed towards the location of the fire.

** BLAM.BLAM.BLAM**

Right as she begins to fall into her dream. She is woken by the loud banging against a door.Though she knew it was not her door, she was still startled. "What..." she thought "what now". She heard a mufled sound of words., then a dash of footsteps down the stairs.

Still between the dream world and reality she couldn't make out what was going on outside her room door. She stretches and sits up on her bed.

***BLAM.BLAM.BLAM**
She looks up at her door. She can hear the noise of people screaming
outside. She gazes out the window. Only to see crimson light.

**BLAM.BLAM.BLAM**
She pushes her self off the bed, and opens the door.

"Ma'am" the innkeeper was gasping for air"please you must go to a safer place, it won't be long until half of Gondon is under fire" he runs off to warn the other occupants before she could reply.

"The guards" she remembered "Then it wasn't just a bandit fight"She shakes her head and reenters her room. She grabs her sword and daggers and heads toward the stairs and out the front door.

She starts to walk in a fast pace towards the gates of the city, she could see the fire. She felt its warmth.

Everyone was running past her towards the opposite direction.

"Miss" a middle aged man said.He stopped once he saw her head towards the fire.

"You must turn around" he suggested while taking in as much air that he could between words. "It is dangerous he will kill us all"

She smiles and nods at the caring man. And continues her walk towards the crimson flames.

OOC: took to his dream in my previous post for info on what he means

Also.. I will assume that there is only 2 buildings that are burning.
---------------------------

Zotok got there, he did not see this 'monster' they all rambled about. instead, he saw 2 burning buildings.
"Why do they always have to make the buildings of wood" he muttered to himself.
"Wood.." he thought, he was on a wooden log. But he dismissed it as a coincidence.
He quickly decided to put out the fires.
The so called firefighters did a poor job, and all they had managed to do. Was bring an over sized tub of water.

Zotok ran over to them, as he passed an old drunk, wearing a green coat. Singing a song, about nail clippings.

"o..k.. This is getting freaky" he said to himself, as he ran over to the guards.
"leave it to me" he stated, and they all broke out in laughter
"We are trained firefighters, and if this is all we can do. what do you think you can do?" one of them stated.

Zotok payed them little time.
Instead, he reached in his bag, and took out 2 small obelisks, both have glowing runes.

He threw one on top of each building.
The firefighters laughed even more. "Is that it?!" and various insults where e given.
Again, he ignored them. These.... sharks..

Zotok ran over to the tub of water, and focused. After a few seconds, the water in the tub glowed a pinkish color, and the water suddenly flushed away.

Upon closer investigation, one could see that the items he threw on the roofs, had formed similar portals to the ones in the tub.
and they now poured out of them.
Drowning most of the house in water, thus, taking care of the fire.

As the portals closed. The obelisks where at his feet, he grabbed them. and smiled.

Then, suddenly a wave of water slammed Zotok into the tub. All the water from the portals, came back via the houses interior.

"then that would be the sea" he thought to himself.
It had stopped raining, and he was dry.
Only to flush himself in the end.

The fire was out. the firefighters where in awe. And Zotok was drenched once again..

As she closed in on the front gates she saw the fire dim.
"Well thats taking care of" she murmured "All thats left is the monster"
She tightens her ribbons and quickens her pace.

**OOC: Those ribbons mean a lot to her.Maybe we'll see why in the future..stay tuned.**

She's dealt with worse. She starts to remember the missions she did while serving as a mercenary. And a small smile peered across her lips.

The fires were completely out. But she can still feel the heat. She looks over to the destroyed houses. To her amazement she saw the the long haired man.
He was being congratulated by the firemen.

"He must of help put out the flames" she thought "Bravo" she mumbled to herself
She wanted to acknowledge his presence but she didn't know what to say to him.
So she just passed the cheering crowd and headed to the front gates.
Her hands on her daggers. her eyes as black as night. She was ready.

(OOC: Geez! When the hell did this all happen?)

Cali ran out from the inn when the horrible darkness emerged, and when she got out she stared in amazement at what lay ahead. The raging inferno had been defeated leaving smoldering ground and a few buildings that were damaged but still stood.

In the distant she saw what appeared to be various firefighters crowding around something, or someone, but Cali looked around her once more.

The most astonishing thing was that the fire had been in the far distant, but it was wet even where she stood. Looking down at the muddy ground, she scooped up a handful of dirt into her hand.

"What the hell happened?" she muttered

Now more focused on the situation, she felt various pleas for help from different places. It was the most concentrated near the origin of the fire.

Sprinting forward she saw various people being tended by the local doctors, and Cali found herself moving forward immediately to help.

A small group of children were huddled together. Most of them had minor burns, but the young man they were gathered around had more severe ones.

"Brother, please don't move!" cried a younger girl

"Brother, just wait a sec!" cried another girl

"Hey, doctor! Look at our brother!" cried a boy

The doctors glanced over, but were more preoccupied with other, more richer patients that weren't as injured as the young man.

Scowling at the gross negligence, Cali walked towards the small group and knelt down in front of them.

A fourth child, a boy, looked up with incredibly wide eyes that only small children had. "Wow" he said in awe at the Ryndian (OOC: Fufufu, I'm boosting my character's ego LOL).

Cali allowed herself to smile reassuringly at the small children; even she was weak against the large innocent eyes.

She stood up and throw her arms out in front of her. "Gentle rain, soothe us miserable mortals!" A small rain cloud appeared above the injured children and light rain started falling on them. At first nothing happened, but the burns where the rain hit started to heal and the skin repaired until they were smooth and unmarked as they had been before the fire.

The younglings (OOC: LOL, I stole that from Star Wars :P) stared in wide eyed wonderment at Cali, before a low sigh escaped the oldest boy.

"Brother!" the four children cried in unison when the young man sat up before throwing their small bodies at him. Laughing, the older boy readily welcomed the dog pile. The burns were gone, and aside from being wet and covered in soot, he appeared to be fine.

Cali turned away from the site of happiness and felt her heart constrict a little. I want that too... she thought, surprising herself with the thought, but still feeling sad.

She took a few steps more, but a sudden wave of dizziness crept onto her before she faltered and fell on her knees.

Wait...I...I shouldn't feel this drained even after casting twenty spells
she thought somewhat blearily. An overwhelming dark presence appeared to her mind and she realized something was draining her energy when she had cast the healing spell.

Before passing out she muttered "the darkness...it's still here..."

(OOC: Well there you go. I was trying to aim doing one post a day, but I think I'm gonna have to do more than one a day now)

"How annoying,"Sceler whispered to himself. "They put out my little fire. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to play a little more."

The the area in front of him was now clear for the guards to come charge at him. The first rushed at him and swung his sword, but just before it made contact, Sceler vanished from his sight.

"You are much too slow."

Sceler stood behind him. He reached over his shoulder and took hold of one of his swords, and with a single swipe severed the arm of the man before him. The other guards stood frozen in fear as they watched there friend fall to the ground whimpering.

"You will all learn to fear me! I am Sceler! I am the Blood Knight!"

He looked around at every face with a sinister smile.

"Who is next?"

OOC: its going pretty fast huh? :)

*********************************************************

As she walked towards the main gate, she was surprised to see a herd of soldiers run back into the city."What is this" she thought. Her eyes started to fade back into its original blue.

"Get back... get back" A soldier yells "Run to your homes and lock the doors" he ordered the villagers.

Kelis walked towards him as the rest of the guards behind him started to close the enormous gate.

"What are you doing" she asked "Has the monster been defeated"

"No" he answers gasping for air "It is neither monster nor man... It is him...the knight of blood"

"What do you mean?"she questioned.

"Just go" he pleas "go...run" His eyes rolled back and he fell to the ground.

Kelis went down to her knees to check if he was still alive. But there was no life left. She closed his eyes and walked away.

"I can't get outside" she thought while looking at the closed gates.

"How could guards sworn to protect can flee so easily" she complained to herself. But there was no time to hold grudges, she knew she had to help. But there was no way outside. She looked around to see if there might be some sort of opening into the cities field.

"whats going on with Zotok". a deep voice arose behind her. She turns around and finds the young mans companion looking down upon her. His wild red and blue hair. And his dark skin. She has never met a person like him, but yet she wasn't afraid. His tone of voice seemed kind.

"So that is what they call him" she thought while she looked over to Zotok.

"I believe he helped the towns folk defeat the fire, but there is more to worry about " she replied as she walks towards the city bridge.

As she walks through the ash covered streets, she sees a young woman was laying on the ground surrounded by children."Another life taken." she thought

A small hand reached for her right arm.
"Miss.. please help she fainted" A young boy asked Kelis with tears in his eyes

"Is this your mother" she asked while she closed in on the blue haired girl lying life less on the floor.

He shakes his head.

Her skin was pale yet her hair was as blue a mid day sky. "Probably a traveler" she thought She kneels beside the girl and lifts up her head. She heard her breathing. "Shes ok" Kelis signed and took a deep breath.Even though battle casualties to her were uncommon, she never witnessed the death of a female. And wasn't ready to, either.

"i need you to do me a favor" Kelis asked the young boy with a smile"Will you be brave for me?"

The boy nods his head.

"you need to get her to a safe place" She asked in a soft tone ignoring the commotion around her "She is fine but you need to take care of her."
The boy nodded. And signaled the rest of the children to help her up.

Kelis stands up and watches the group of children carry her away.

She turns to face the doors. And begins to walk. "I'm going to get over that wall" She declared to herself

Her pace quickens as she hears the screams of the guards outside the gate. "Oh my gods" she thought. The thought of facing an enemy so powerful made her heart pound and she can feel her eyes begin to darken.

Jack had quite a fitful night's rest. He first woke up when he heard screaming from outdoors. He turned over to go back to sleep. However, a short time later, he heard banging on a door down the hallway. It sounded like it was for Room 11. Nimble slept on peacefully. Jack got up. He looked out his window. He saw guards running about and some smoke in the distance. He looked over at Nimble anxiously. She was still soundly asleep. Jack used this time to go use the outhouse, then to return and wait for Nimble to wake up. When he went outside, he saw a building ablaze with black flame. A flame that can burn the buildings after a rainstorm, Jack thought. Jack climbed atop a rooftop. He saw a small body lying on the ground. A figure with red armor stood nearby the body. He was approached by several guards. Jack jumped off the roof, went to the outhouse, then returned to the room.

Jack returned through the window instead of going through the ground floor of the inn. Jack was too unnerved to go back to sleep. However, Nimble was still sound asleep. Jack learned long ago not to awaken Nimble unless it was truly a dire emergency (i.e. the duo was in immediate and imminent danger). The noise from outside grew louder. Jack looked out the window again. The number of bodies increased and the fire grew, though it was no longer black. Fighting everything in his nature, he fought not to wake Nimble. Jack returned to his bed and watched Nimble.

It was shortly past dawn. The morning light stirred Nimble and she opened her eyes. Not waiting for Nimble to focus on her surroundings, Jack began signing, his hands a blur. Nimble blinked. She reached a hand out of her blankets and signed, "What?" Jack tried again. "There is a guy in armor that is killing children and guards and setting the town on fire. Look!" he pointed toward the window in rapid jabs. Nimble looked outside. She could make out the raiment of several of the inn's travelers. Then she sank down out of view to sign to Jack.

"What do we do?" Jack signed anxiously.

"What else can we do? We get out of town."

"But those travelers... they're going to die."

"So are we if we go against that knight. We aren't fighters."

"What if he catches us?"

"Then we'll deal with it when that time comes."

Nimble scrambled out of bed. She dressed quickly in her tattered clothes and put on her bag and her belt. Jack grabbed his belt. "We'll hide in town for now. We need to observe what that knight is going to do." Nimble swore. "There's no back way out, so we'll have to plan carefully to make it out of here alive. At this rate, he'll burn down this whole town." Nimble stood up and opened the window. "We'll figure out a plan later. For now, we can't sit still." Then she climbed out the window. Jack followed. They made their way carefully through the alleys until they approached a building that could serve as both a vantage point and a hiding place. They proceeded to climb onto the thatched roof. Then they artfully hid themselves and observed tensely.
