Never Ending Rp

As the various fighters scale the wall. and the gate seem to be burning, or something.

Zotok decided to take the lazy way out.

he took a few steps back, and grabbed an obelisk out from the bag.
he took a step forward, and sent the obelisk flying over the wall.
He awaited until the feeling had stopped moving.
And gave it a focusing thought.

A few seconds later, a ripping sound was heard, and following was the portal.

"Heh, I guess the lazy way out works from time till time" Zotok smiled to himself
Zotok stepped trough it.
As he exited, he closed the portal. And picked up the depleted obelisk.
He put it in the bag.

As he looks around, some haven't gotten too far off yet, perhaps it was just the distance that he didn't have to travel, due to the portal.

nonetheless. He wished to rest. So he headed towards the Inn again.

Slowly but surly Lufes got to the top with the help of the little girl and her friend he turns around to look at the massive city burning

"This is not a good postcard picture to send to mom" he said to the monkey

Lufes watch as a beatuiful city is burning to the ground he said to himslef looking down "Why would any one do this

Someone inturupted Lufess' thought

"hey" from a distance. Lufes saw the blonde hair guy

Lufes didnt want to react not know what hes capleble of

" Great way to start the morning huh?" lufes said trying to klet the blonde hair guy that hes not a threat

"since I helped start the fire, mind if I help put it out? Normally I wouldn't ask this but that guy just walked out of town and I don't feel like following him." the blonde hair guy repied to him

(OOC: Okay, forgive me if I get the character positions wrong again, but everyone is apparently going back to their merry ways )

Cali's arms trembled with the force of the fire spell that managed to cancel out the black fire from the blond male in armor. The residual heat made Cali cringe. She hated extreme heats. Fire was an uncomfortable element for her to deal with on the physical level due to living in the cold north for her entire life, and mental because of the spirits of the flames.

They were hot tempered, and...

Passionate.

Just like her the Ryndian couldn't help but think, the image of green eyes looking at her with desire coming to her mind.

However, memories of their last moments together easily pushed the more pleasant memories to the back of her mind.

With those memories, Cali didn't know whether to cry her eyes out or scream until her throat went hoarse.

Shaking her head from unpleasant thoughts, she looked towards the battle ground, and was surprised to see several figures leaving the battle and going back to the city.

What...Just like that?
she thought somewhat wearily

Then why had they been fighting in the first place? Sighing and seeing no reason for her to be stuck on the gate, Cali shut her eyes and brought her hands to her chest and began to chant another spell. She was tired, but still had plenty of energy left for spells.

"Beautiful song birds. Give us lift" she murmured and energy wings, each about three feet long, began to form from her back. They were transparent, but had form of feathered wings.

She stood up, and the wings flapped once before Cali jumped from the gate on the city side, falling gently to the ground. She waved her hand and the wings disappeared, having served their main purpose.

Despite the abrupt end to the battle, Cali was relieved for it to be over. Seeing that the firefighters of Gondon were able to handle this new blaze, Cali found herself walking back to the inn she had been staying.

It had been a relatively safe distance from the whole commotion, so when the Ryndian walked in, it was like nothing changed when she had first rushed out of the inn. She walked up to the stairs and found her room and walked in.

Removing her coat she let it fall onto the chair and took her boots off. She flexed her toes still within the socks before flopping down onto the bed. She didn't bother to inspect the room if any of her things were stolen since at most she would have probably lost a few gil pieces and a few medicinal herbs.

She rolled over onto her stomach and her eyes fluttered shut, the exhaustion from the last two days catching up with her. Meeting so many different people is a short amount of time was quite tiring, but having to fight so much with just magic as well was just far too taxing for the blue-haired woman.

"Mmm...next time I'll use my whip..." she said drowsily

Her eyes shut, and she vaguely hoped she wouldn't have anymore dreams: remembering the good things she couldn't have again was too painful.

(OOC: So I guess now everyone is just going to post their own individual stories until we all meet up again, or something, right?)

"hey wait up Zotok" yelled crane as he saw him dissappear over or rather into the wall, it was to late he had to make his own way out of te burning city.

Everyone of the occupants and the several newcomers had all found some form of getting out of the burning city, Crane had to find some way out of the city or he would perish in the flames.
Crane saw a low hanging rope and attempted to pull himself up with it but the rope had been severly damaged by the flames, he thought for a few minutes but noticed that the flames were drawing nearer to the gate, he thught to try and use his blade and the rope as a grappling hook and pull himself up and over the wall, so thats what he did, but when he was halfway up the wall the rope started to snap and he started to fall, at this time Crane could only hope someone would save him from certain frying in a once beautiful city/frying pan.

OOC - Okay very sorry Fox and Yall.I'm gonna come to you guys and turn the place on crazyness, with my infinite amount of ideas and crazy twists. Plus there will be more history to why Rey is seeking this Rever Lord Quelze and info on his sister, Fox I hope that may have explained his relations with her (she got a name now yay!). Well read and enjoy .....
--------------------------------------------
'So this is where Rever Lord Quelze is satying.' his voice was bitter and carried by the wind to his horse. His accent lost, gone with over a month of traveling with strangers and others.
Rey Loys stood at the cliff and looked at the valley below. His coat lay flat at his back unmoving with the wind. His brown, cowboy shpaed, hat flapped slightly. The strands at the front of his face moved along the currants.
His face covered in darkness, peered down ....
--------------------------------------------
45 days earlier.
'Rey, were do ya want these boxes,' her sweet and soft voice pulled Rey Loys out of his slumber, or rather when a stack of heavy crates landed beside his head.
'Eh,' he groaned pushing himself from the bench. He pointed away from himself, in a direction that was unknown.
'Rey um you just told me to put this supply outside,' Rey's sister stood above him. Her clean bright skin clearly different to his, brown tanned colour.
Truth be it that they had adopted each other as brother and sister, both orphans.
His sister stood there in all her glory. He black hair waved down her back, several strand of redish tinted fell down her face. Red eyes shone through a brown constraint giving more of a maroon ring. Her childish face, lit up by her naturally white skin smiled at her brother.
'Brother, are you just gonna sit there all day, looking all dopey and silly.' she laughed and toppled off his hat, ruffled his hair and pulled away before he sleepily swiped at her with a fist.
'I guess I a could a get up n' shuffle round some boxs's, sis do yall have ta wake me up like that,' he grinned.
The brother and sister worked tirelessly through the after noon, moving around crates and boxes. Sorting through papers and scrolls, the split the store up into a few sections. Rey owned a small store that sold scroll magic spells.
His sister helped out.
'Ya um Chiria I'm gunna go check our post.'
-------------------------------------------------------
Rey looked back at his conpanions, a pair of jugglers in identical clothing. They had been some interesting travel partners he had to admit but interesting wasn't Rey's way.
'This bein our good byes an' all,' he said over his shoulder to the pair, 'I think's ya both learn me name, Rey.' he waved over his shoulder and walked down to that city (he knew not the name but it was the correct loaction) pulling the lead of his horse.

Solber placed his hands behind his head and grinned at the elven sense of humor. Several fire fighters were on the case, causing much of the roaring flames to die down the screaming seemed to have cease but the little dark knight knew that this would only be a brief calm before the storm. He was just about to spit out words of caution when he caught wind of an impending assault on him. Abruptly he felt as if he'd been booted under the chin. His legs kicked up from under him and his sword fell from its stitching spinning ontop of the 20-foot tall wall from the force of the blow.

'So... fast ...' blurred his mind when he suddenly realized gravity would be calling soon. As quick as he could think it one of the dusk stones on his hand burned brightly then dimmed to half its normal darkness. The pull of gravity threatened to throw him from the wall, his mind panicked grabbing at anything in reach. The deep weight of falling pressed on his chest and for the first time in a long time he was scared witless.

In the moment that passed Solber Antilienius saw his father's disapproving stare and unsatisfied shaking head, a sword appeared and slashed at the ghostly figure in the dark. Suddenly, Sol was suspended in mid-air, fearing himself dead but clutching something rocky and earthen. A dark glow surrounded his right arm and had cut into the rockface. He took a long hard glance at the ground looming beneath him and said a silent prayer to the dark gods. A moment later, he had managed to pull himself back up and dust himself off.

"That'll teach me to judge a book by its cover," he muttered mid dust then quickly held his hands up to the little girl and mouthed really widely, "I-didn't-mean-to-help-the-bad-guy-I-was-just-using-him, I-want-to-help-put-out-the-fire...right?" He cautiously raised his eyes to meet the elven, pleading for help.

Nimble had prepared herself for a battle to the death. However, once the duo had knocked the blonde-haired man off balance, Nimble noticed something peculiar: He tried to mouth something to her. Nimble stopped so she could focus on what he was mouthing. The exaggerated mouth movements made it more difficult for her to tell what he was trying to say, but she caught enough to understand that he didn't want to attack. He seemed to want to... help? She must not be understanding him correctly. "I-didn't-mean-to-help-the-bad-guy-I-was-just-using-him, I-want-to-help-put-out-the-fire...right?" the man mouthed. Nimble and Jack exchanged glances. Nimble and Jack took a few steps back so as to allow the man some room... and to allow reaction time in case she misunderstood the man's intent.

Nimble sighed. My, how she wanted to soak in a nice, warm bath! That reminded her... Jack hadn't had his bath yet. For a split second, Nimble smiled. She knew how much Jack hated baths. Neither Nimble nor Jack had eaten all day, either. They both had been awakened by the pandemonium caused by the Blood Knight. Then this other man came and stirred up things even further... now he wanted to help. Nimble didn't even bother wasting energy to try to make sense out of the day. The most important thing was that her and Jack were still alive. Nimble glanced around at the city. No wonder these folks are rich, Nimble thought. They probably have to constantly pay for repairs to this city. Nimble gave the man an apologetic look. The female traveler had found another way up the wall, so Nimble busied herself by pulling up her rope. Jack had already dropped his line so that they could make it back down to the ground.

Lufes saw that the blonde Knight was smiling as he played the fool.

the little dark knight as just about to say something he caught wind of an impending assault on him. His legs kicked up from under him and his sword fell . spinning ontop of the 20-foot tall wall from the force of the blow.

"Whats going on here" He said looking around.

Lufes saw The dark knight quickly starts comming down. when a dark glow wrapped his arm and caught himself withe a chunk of rock from the wall

" He lives!" lufes screams of eximent

"This is better then seeing Uncle fayfay ballon animal" He said to the black hair girl childish

the Dark Knight gets up and steady him slef and looks at the little girl and opens his mouth more so she can understand "I-didn't-mean-to-help-the-bad-guy-I-was-just-using-him, I-want-to-help-put-out-the-fire...right?"

the little girl steped back with her friend to give the knight some room

Lufes was puzzled on why is was he using him. He saw that the dark knight shift his eyes at him as if he was pleading him

" Alright ill help you!" Lufes said

He stands at a firm and brings his ands in a prayer position

" Teklish engaurdious volaris" He recited a levitation spell to bring The dark knight to the ground safley he had to do it quick since his levitation skills are not as good as his Arching.

The sun began to shine through the gaps in the forest. Its warmth brushed against Eric's face. He began to stir. Then all of a sudden he noticed what was wrong. He jumped to his feet in a small panic.

"Why am I outside? I should have been in the cave still. Oti! Oti! What happened last night."

Oti did not respond. "Oti! Oti!"

'Calm down Eric,' Sceler whispered in his mind. He was unusually calm this morning. 'Everything is okay. Oti is just resting.'

"What do you mean 'resting'!?" Eric's anger grew.
Sceler could feel this. The anger Eric felt gave him unbearable pain.

'I said calm down. He kept me out of trouble. That is why he is resting.'

Eric began to calm down at these words. That did sound like something Oti would do.

"Fine then we shalle move on." Eric's cloak was hanging on a nearby tree. He walked over to get it and threw it on. He no longer resmbled the knight that he was for the cloak covered his armor and part of his face.

He began the head off back in the direction of Gondon.

'So did you read the post when you brought it in last ..... no you didn't, Rey you are completely useless. You sleep hald the day, and then when you finally say your going to get the post you don't even read it. Why are you so tired all the time any way.' Chiria had been like this since Rey had woken up over an hour ago.

Well I'm a theif at night, Rey considered saying but he shuddered at her response would be, 'fine I'll read them now.'

He shuffled through a pile of scrolls on the bench, a stack of letters hit his fingers. Tax, reward (theif money which he pocketed), pointless mail. And a letter adressed to him.

It read from RLQ on the back, Your kidding me right? he though to himself.
---------------------------
Now

The gate looked like it had been burnt, he saw more details as he got closer.
'Well at least this city likes fire ....' he laughed.
He stopped less then 20 metres away from the gate, deciding whether he should ride in or not. Probably not, the fire could scare, Thunder. (the horse).
'Heh,' Rey sighed and began to drag the horse toward the city.

Nimble and Jack felt assured that the elfen male and the female traveler would be safe for now. Nimble and Jack took turns climbing back down to the ground. Once on the ground, Jack looked at Nimble. Nimble knew he wanted to help put out the flames. "Jack... we have to get going. If we don't leave soon, how will we support ourselves? Do you want to steal from these townspeople now? Do you want to rely on their goodwill? You saw for yourself that these people don't spare a dime, whether it is during prosperous times or harsh times." Jack looked around at the flames. He conceded and hung his head. Together, the two of them went back to the inn to gather their things.

Once they had gathered their things, Nimble and Jack went to an unaffected portion of the wall. Using their climbing abilities and their skills, they made it over the wall and back out of the city. Jack glanced back. "Gondon sure was interesting, wasn't it?" Jack mused. Nimble rolled her eyes. "That place is as interesting as a heart attack. I'm glad to be rid of it." The fights they had with the Blood Knight and the blonde haired man seemed like ages ago now. They walked on, leaving behind all of the horrors of the day. After all, those horrors were trivial compared to what they had experienced in their homeland. The duo walked on to a fresh start.

While Lufes was putting the dark knight on the fground he say that the little girl climed down with her friend into the inn.

" Where are they going?" he thought to himself

Lufes sees that the dark Knight is safley on the ground, So he grabs one of his arrows in his right hand.

"Lets see how i get down" He said outloud

Lufes jumps up about five feet and starts comming down. As hes falling, Lufes jams the arrow into that hard concreate wall to slow down his speed. he slides down up against the wall

"I made it this far, whats the point of not going futher" He yells to the blonde hair guy as he sliding down.

Once he made it down he didnt realize that the little girl has gone back up the wall and left

"I just hope they are safe" he said look up at the monstrous wall

Crane's whole life flashed before his eyes as he was falling towards the flames, but Crane wasnt going to give up that easily so with all his might he jammed his sword in between a crack in the city wall, the blade started to bend.... still bending.... still bending ........ SNAP!!! Cranes blade had given way to the pressure being applied to it, but Crane had managed to secure hold of a fairly large rock in the wall.
Crane started to haul his fairly intact figure up to the ledge at the top of the wall, where he shouted down to the figure who had just said something that sounded like " i just .... their safe", "Hey can I give you a hand down there"
