This looks pretty great. I don't like Carbuncles new look.he/she/it looked better in FFVIII. And Siren's made a comeback! She'll probly only silence enemies, though. They should bring other Espers back, like the Chocobo.

Carbuncle is awesome ^_^, especially since it comes out of a flying disc. Ifrit annoys me though...then again he always has >_<
 
Carbuncle is just adorable!

And, the new girl gives off a very Yuffie vibe...I can't tell if that's good or bad yet :|
 
I seriously feel like this is in some way a sequel to FFVIII. Siren and Carbuncle haven't even appeared in an FF since FFVIII right? and the gunblades, and the Seifer guy? it really does look like an FFVIII sequel, and if it is, I want it even more. lol


EDIT: oops. Carbuncle WAS in other FFs....>_< Curse the fact that i have only beaten FF8

I think the new girl looks absolutely adorable XD

God, their graphics are getting amazing....let's see if the game is as good....
 
Never was a fan of Carbuncle, but Ifrit and Siren look amazing, and so does the new character... this game can't fail.

anywho, again, thanks Cerri for the nice find.

This game just gets better and better with each new picture I see. The graphic are superb, the story line should be good (knowing previous games, except 12), and the battle system should be good, so, lets just hope this game is great
 
Besides Ifrit, Siren and Carbuncle, in the extended trailer of the CLOUD Magazine DVD (Dec. 2007) (http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=B-ZZ7tUWkQQ) we can see Shiva in 1'05sec. She is a motorbike (yes, the summons on Final Fantasy XIII are machines too, I think Ifrit it's like a type of car or something like that :s) and she is no only one Shiva, but she is divided in two shivas: One black and another white.

Now that we've got a better image of her, I don't see the Tifa resemblance in that blonde girl at all. In fact, I think she's prettier than Tifa. I'm absolutely loving these images! I'm even more intrigued now with Versus XIII. These images are awesome and I swear that crimson-eyed guy gets hotter everytime. I can't wait for this game!
I really don't like what they've done with Shiva though =/
 
I'm more intrigued about XIII than Versus. The only thing about Versus I want to know more about is the girl. If only she was the protagonist *le sigh*

I'm glad that XIII isn't just about intense sci-fi and Cocoon, and that it does retain its fantasy elements in Pulse.
 
Carbuncle looks like one of those pug dogs o_O Other than that they all look rather impressive, just hope the gameplay doesn't let us down :monster:

strangely enough, FF XIII looks like it hasn't been Nomura-fied at all.....

and then you see versus, oh dear...i though he was on a roll.
 
What really annoys me about the images that their releasing is that they've yet to show anything media in regards to gameplay. So we still have no idea how the games will play.
 
Actually Mark, in the newest FFXIII trailer, the one on the Cloud DVD, they do show gameplay for XIII. We have yet to see gameplay for Versus, but hell they don't even have XIII done yet, so we might not get to see gameplay for Versus for awhile yet.
