Parties

I started with a Warrior, Red Mage, Black Mage and White Mage fore the PSP version a couple of weeks ago...it has served me well so far, apart from the White Mage is lower level because she always dies. -__-

Warrior (Named him Tidus)
Blk Mage ( Lulu :P)
Red Mage (Auron)
Thief ( Rikku )

Yeah the first time i played it i played FFX first so yeah.

Your Party

I've just started to play FFI on NES, so my question is what was/is your party and what did you name them?

Mine is, Fighter (JRAD), Fighter (JRAD), White Mage (JRAD) and Black Mage (JRAD).

Was really lacking on the name part there. >_>

I played it on GBA. Before I gave up, I used an Fighter, an Monk, an Black Mage, and an White Mage. I think I also tried an Red Mage instead of an Monk. I forget names. But, as I said, I decided I didn't like the game and just played II instead. :D

I just used the default of Fighter, Thief, Monk and Red Mage, but I regret the choice in a way because the Red Mage is unable to learn some useful spells (HARM and HEAL, for example), and the Thief was quite weak for a while. The names I used were Kita, Lock, Jama and Just respectively. Oh, and I might as well give you some advice, that you should look carefully at the stats that each weapon and armour gives you. I found that the Monk was best wearing no armour at all.

PSP version:

My name (Warrior)
Bro's name (Black Mage)
Aeris (White Mage)
Zorro (Thief)

^_^

I played the PSP version and my party was:

Leon - Fighter
Slavi - White Mage
Zonso - Monk
Judah - Black Mage

I tried to give them random, fantasy style names (I'm Actually surprised I was able to remember them :monster:)

I created a:

Warrior - my name
White Mage - Maria
Thief - friend's name
Black Mage - brother's name.

I always use a black and white mage because I can get the best skills for both magics that way. A fighter because of the strength and HP, and a thief because my friend chose it.

These threads are pretty similar, so Il go ahead and merge them

I have two files;

My first is:
My name: Black Mage/Black Wizard
My friend's name: Thief/Ninja
My other friend's name: Monk/Master
Ching: Warrior (Uninventive, I know.)

My second party was a New Game+ from my first file, and it just changes me into a Red Mage/Wizard.

I has only got the PSP Version and this is how my party will normally shape up.

My name: red mage
Sister's name or sister-in-Law's name: white mage
Best friends name: Black mage
Brother's name: Monk

but then again, depending what mood im in when i start the new game i occasionally just use the random names given by the game

Hmmm... Thinking back a few years now...

I think I had:
Warrior = Kain
Black Mage = Argor
Theif = Blade
White Mage = Lulo (girls name.... Half way through the game it was revealed that White Mage was a man!)

Foolishly, I assumed that the Red Mage would be able to learn all black and white magic. As such, I chose to take a Warrior, a Monk (and failed to realise that they work best without equipment), a Red Mage and a Black Mage. As soon as I acquired Cura, I found the entire game much easier ... but I do wish I had taken a white mage. That said, the Red Mage is almost as physically effective as my Warrior.

First i Chose Fighter,Thief,Black Mage,White Mage

Then i chose Fighter,Red Mage,Black Mage,White Mage

warrior
thief
red mage
white mage

i am not getting where i want with them so i am thinking of restarting
