Photoshop Noobishness V.2

Sent an email to leonhart-27@hotmail.com for you

The BG looks better at the Vincent part.
Its brighter and matches more to his face, but needs to be blended as well.
Also using many stocks is not always a good idea.
Sometimes using one stock and a large area for BG is better.

Check out the Email please.

Tried what you told me, a bit difficult at first but I think I'll learn how to do it properly. Like they say: "Practice leads to perfection."

I did this:

I think you should try some different renders :D not just those Castelvania :monster:

And again too much red..

Julius, I actually like your present avi and sig better. I agree with Mugen, there is too much red. Also, I prefer the text on your present sig.

Agreed, there is too much red.
But I think its better to work on same style to see how much he has changed, but along side, try with other stocks too.

< Looks good, everything match well, just needs a bit more contrast. but the sig is not better. There are too much dark Bg which does not match the brightness in the faces.

Try to add some Orange, Yellow and purple to your sig, but ot just a color mask, add some objects like fire for orange and yellow and whatever as for the other colors.

Try glowing dots in light orange somewhere.

Ok, I am making a Kadaj Siggy now. Then I'll fix my avatar and signature (and I grew playing Castlevania so....that explains :))

Done!

My advice is, try using just one character in a sig, cause when you put two you dont have room for effects and text.

Made this one as well, I think I'll use it....

Yes, using one stock is much better, or if you use two stocks, try using a good size as them and also your sig size to give you enough space for working on other things.
Still looks so monocoloric.
Don't use several texts in different places, try to focuse your texts in 1 or 2 places.
you should not have 2 main text. try one text and the rest as subtexts.

Ok, less characters and more effects, and more colors. I'll try to have two sigs ready and post them here as soon as possible :D

In the meantime, here's an avatar I made:
Julius-Alucard.jpg

I think is too....don't know how to express.....has to do with the color...

This looks good.
Yellow, golden, orange and red also some green and purple colors are mixed as well.
Maybe adding a border with a bright color, like white makes it look better.
Don't forget that having a light source or a black area in your sig, makes it look better. ;)

It is weird, but I made this avatar without thinking that much, not like I did on others and it did well! :P
That's it, the less I think to make it great the better it will be. Ok, time to add the border.

How about this?

Well, more orange makes it better because the hair is golden already. also the border is good
And no, I am not agree with what you said about thinking.
You need to think first to see what you want to creat, by looking at the stock, then start doing it.
the rest will happen while making the sig.
Look at your Seph/Kadaj sig.You have blended the characters by lowering the contrast and also making the colors the same as the BG. Which looks somehow blury.
If I go to a place where there be a green light in one side of me, it will have just some effects on my skin, not maing me whole green.
I suggest you to leave a part of the sig's BG blank black.
Then by passing the time, you can add things to it, with different collors

Nice. It's much better. Just too much color blended, needs to be more sharp. Add a new layer at the top of all the layers. Set blending options to COLOR BURN and then use a light grey to fill it up. The grey should be so light. like R 216 G 216 B 216 Hue 160 Lum 204

Oh goodness, I like that sig a lot! o.o

The designs are unique enough, and I'm loving the color theme you used here. Black and dark gold (or is that brown?) is a good mix.

Thanks Mitsuki, I actually used the following colors:
-white
-black
-brown
-black

Yes, I made sure to remember Lady Rufus' suggestion when creating this sig. Instead of just adding text, I added shapes to it.
