[Real RP!] - Have Party, Will Travel

Tali was excited to be going with Raz rather than Ryan. As a whole, if she had to choose which one of the two she would rather spend an eternity with, it would have been her. Of course, that wasn’t to say she would like her company… it would just be preferable. However, that was soon dashed as Ryan announced that he would be needing Tali’s services as well as the Orc. Great… I get stuck with a walking sexual harassment lawsuit and an Orc.

All in all, if she went with Ryan she could keep an eye on him to make sure he didn’t die before he paid Tali her dues. However, the bad part was being stuck with Ryan. Tali groaned as her gloved palm met her face. “Fine… whatever, let us all just go.”

The shock the mage had Given Leo was refreshing, doing no damage to him, instead filling him up with more energy. If felt very nice, actually. He gave a friendly nod in appreciation.

When Ryan had said they were splitting in two ways, Leo didn't even have to think about which way to go. He would follow Ryan. That path seemed more entertaining. Now recharged and ready to go, Leo stepped towards Ryan and said, "I'll follow you, it sounds more exciting."

OOC Short but i dunno what else to do.

Raz stared at the strange man that had asked to be shocked in affected amazement and hurt dignity. "Geez, didn't know I was so boring," she said, her voice so dry it nearly made skin crinkle.

She sighed and shook her head. "Whatever. The rest of you, with me. There's a friend I want to look up here, I think he can help us out."

"Whatever. The rest of you, with me. There's a friend I want to look up here, I think he can help us out."

Aaron:Well I don't know what's happening here but I'll help you out...

Aaron sheath's his sword and places it on his back again,He just now remember's he hasen't introduced himself yet.

Aaron:Sorry,My name's Aaron Sohm,I'm a Mercenary from Red Water...Due to recent event's I somehow got thrown to this Island..

He scratches the back of his head nervously wondering what he got himself into

((OOC:Sorry for the Short post Just making sure you all know im still alive~))

(( OOC: D: Exocraet, Ryan's talking to Pomoly! Tali's free to go with Raz--and in fact, she should, since Raz is going to need more firepower than Ryan's side will! ))

Ryan shook his head at Tali. "Uh, no, I think you misheard. I need you to go with Raz, miss. She's gonna need the firepower more than I am. I need a small team--you, with the pinkish hair, what's your name--oh dang it all, just tell me your names, it'll make getting this straight simpler!" he groaned a little.

"The plan is to split in two; Raz and her team," he said, indicating Raz, "Need to head into the library and find the other end of that passage to the Duke's throne room. That's where he's going to have his last stand, the place is crawling with protective magic. I'm going to go straight ahead into it to keep him busy. Raz's job is to complete this little pincer move with her team. So you, you, you and you at the very least, need to come with me," he added, turning to Cerden, Pomoly, Charles and Leo in turn. "Those who go with Raz--when you get to the throne room and the Duke, just do as wrecking balls and go for the sonofabitch."

He paused again and rubbed the back of his neck. "I don't really mean to sound all military-like but it's sort of a plan...right?"

“Oh, good,” Tali said. She was quite glad that she wouldn’t be going with Ryan. “Careful with short stuff over there; odds are she will shoot you in the posterior.” She faced her bear and herself towards the tall warrior. “It appears I will be coming with you. My name is Tali by the way, I am the good looking wise one.” The smug in her voice was quite evident. She was ready to the tall warrior woman to move out.

Raz took Aaron's hand in a firm grip and shook it once. "Nice to meet ya and all that. The name's Raz."

She listened as Ryan outlined the plan and nodded once in approval. Sounded like a good plan to her. "I have a buddy that works here still. He should still be around. He can help us find this passage they were yammering about. If everything goes to shit, there's a smuggler's exit out the back."

Kneeling on the floor, Raz pulled a dagger from her belt and carved a crude map on the floor. She outlined how to get to the emergency escape route and where to meet up after -- now that they had all been more or less involved in this, none of them were safe. Not a single half-fiend, mage, or Abnormal would be safe until the Duke was taken out.

Just then, the elf woman with the bear introduced herself. Raz shook her hand, smirking a little. "A pleasure. Call me Raz. Look forward to fighting beside you." She turned to the rest of her designated group. "Alright, guys, let's move out. My buddy works in the kitchen, we'll probably find him there."

Just before she left the lobby with the others, Raz stopped at the door and turned back. "Hey Ryan." She gave him a bloodthirsty smirk. "Make the bastard scream."

Tysorai perched silently atop the entrance to the library, crouched low over the edge. He sniffed the air constantly, but silently; he could afford no screw-ups like in the courtyard. This time he didn't have Ryan's music - or whatever it was that brought him back to consciousness - to cover for him this time. No being reckless. Stealth. Precision.

Ty's ear twitched and he lunged down, catching one guard totally by surprise and snapping his neck in one deft twist. To seal it, Tysorai gripped the guard's head with his left hand and pulled down as he landed, driving the dagger in his right claw into the guard's temple. With a quick deflecting movement of his left bracer, Tysorai parried the accompanying guard's axe and drew his dagger out of his victim's corpse. A swift flick of the wrist embedded the dagger into his assailant's chest, and Tysorai followed up by lunging and grabbing onto its handle, then drove the other straight into the guard's side. He twisted and dragged them out of the body, listening as a rough breath escaped his victim's lips with the daggers.

Tysorai wasted no time and sheathed his blade, rushing into the library. He took cover by a corner, hiding from a pair of guards crossing a hallway. Five seconds. Ten seconds. Twenty seconds. Safe. Tysorai locked onto the distinctive smell of parchment and followed it to its source, careful to hide himself whenever he heard or smelled another patrol. Simple places, like behind armor or statues, or crouching in the shadows or hanging out of a window, served as the most effective hiding places he could find. It was not long before he entered the library.

Suddenly, Ty's body began to stiffen. He ducked behind a bookshelf and tried to look natural (or as natural as a blind werewolf could look trying to find a book) as he waited for the sensation to pass. The feeling lasted several seconds, then passed. Tysorai relaxed and thought of the obvious answer to this problem. Magic. Tysorai hated dealing with enchantments. They always made things so much harder.

Tysorai caught a whiff of something, then leapt up onto the top of the bookshelf, and jumped onto a nearby ledge. He pulled himself up onto the floor, and awaited the arrivals. It smelled like that woman - Raz, did Ryan call her? Tysorai couldn't help but feel a little bit cheated; it was his idea to come here, his idea to slay that bastard of a warlock at his weakest point. Tysorai drew back into the shadows and pulled his cloak tight about him, awaiting the arrival of his allies.

((OOC: So it may or may not be obvious, but even though Ty is hiding in the library he is far from easily sighted. Don't be surprised if he just shows up alongside Raz in the next post xD He's that sneaky.))

"I'm Clair," offered the half fiend, peppy as ever. "Nice to finally receive a formal introduction, my little kindred." She shot Ryan a flirtatious wink, then turned to Raz. "I guess you'll need me too, huh Miss?" she asked innocently.

She touched both hands to the hilt of her sword. "I'll do my best, of course, but if things start looking bad, I'm running away faster than you can blink, kay?" Another wink was projected, this time at Raz.

"So you're an elf?" She looked at Tali next. "A little short, sure, but you've certainly got those pretty looks, as does your mount there. But I won't touch him. I'm not in the mood to be bitten...yet." She licked her lips fervently and skipped over to Raz's side. "Shall we?" she asked with her usual pep.

Raz shook the half-fiend's hand. "Nice to meet you, Clair. Now where's that wolf guy--" Raz stopped and looked around.

The werewolf was gone. He'd vanished into thin air. Exasperated, she flung her hands into the air. "Fine! Whatever! Let's all go exploring in the castle controlled by a Duke with hundreds of demons as his bitches. What do I care."

Turning on heel, she stalked to the server's door, flung it open and went inside. "Tali, Clair, Aaron! Let's move out and look sharp!"

Whether they followed or not, Raz jogged down the dimly lit hallway. These narrow halls were only for the servants of the castle, largely unnoticed and, more importantly, unpatrolled. A perfect road for assassins. As part of her training, it had been her duty to patrol these hallways, to know the location of every hidden passage and concealed doorway. Now, that same information and training originally meant to protect the Duke was being used against him.

Bet that fucker wished he hadn't shut down that program NOW, huh? She smirked.

At last, Raz found the door that led directly to the main kitchen. Drawing her sword, she pressed her back to the door and slowly opened it. She cautiously peered inside.

The kitchen had been abandoned in the middle of the dinner preparations. Bowls of chicken and vegetables lay everywhere, half filled. A small pig was slowly charring over the giant spit in a fireplace mammoth enough hold three cows. Somewhere beyond her vision, though, she could hear clanking and cursing.

Grinning -- only one person she knew cursed like that -- Raz stepped into the kitchen, sheathing her sword. "Cid, you mad bastard, I thought I'd find you here."

Standing in the far end of the kitchen, trying to leverage something out of a cupboard, was a man even taller than Raz, with enough muscles to wrestle a steer to a halt. He looked faintly ridiculous, squeezed into a chef's uniform the way he was, like an assassin that had needed a quick change of clothes to go incognito but couldn't conceal the true nature that he was, indeed, an assassin. Like her, his sclera were pitch black and the irises bloodred.

"Raz!" he bellowed and in two quick strides, the two met in the middle of the kitchen and instead of shaking hands, their right hands met between them and they pulled each other in for a quick shoulder-bump-back-slap. With said backslap so loud it sounded painful, but the two were grinning. She glanced at the cupboard and was amused to see what appeared to be the hilt of a claymore jammed within among the pots and pans, and which Cid had apparently been trying to remove. Paranoid preparation had also featured in their training.

"Raz you crazy bitch, it's been a long time!"

"Ah, I know, I could never visit but that'll be changed once I kill the Duke."

"Aha!" Cid grinned, showing rows of chipped teeth. "So you'll want to know if the secret passages have changed?"

"Well, yeah. A bird told me there was a new one that led underground?"

"Hmm."
Cid suddenly frowned and crossed his massive arms in front of his equally massive chest. "I know of it, and aye, I know where the entrance is. But the servants have been hearing of strange things, Raz, dark stuff wandering around down there."

"How dark?"

"Can't say. All I know is that we toss half a cow carcass down there every day and I haven't smelled anything like rotting meat, so it must be eaten by something down there. More than just a couple of rats."

"Sounds like a party. Let's check it out."

Cid laughed, a deep, booming sound. "You were always the best of us, Raz! Never shied from a fight. Alright. I'll take you there."

Location: Castle Morris - Eastern Hallway

Ryan turned to the few remaining people of his team. "Come on guys, up and at 'em. We can go through the upper holding cells and release some captives. That should cause enough chaos in here for us to slip in the throne room unnoticed!"

He glanced over at the orc and the short elf girl. "Can I rely on you two to take one hall of cells while I and Cerden take the other?"

The girl looked a bit uncertain. "Ummm...yeah, okay," she blurted. "But I still need to see the king--"

"Don't worry about that, kiddo, if we get outta this alive I'll get you to the king in no time," Ryan grinned at her and started down the long hallway, gesturing to the others to follow him.

He pulled his guitar off his back and after a tester strum, rushed ahead playing a particularly fast and up-beat tune that would've had an effect on his allies: It'd make them feel a bit more plucky than they already were, as well as put some rush on their feet.

"Cover your ears now, friends, we're going to hit a little jam!" he shouted with a mad laugh, looking at a mass of guards ahead, and paused his playing, just to restart another tune.

It was a strange tune, almost dissonant but with some kind of order or method in its madness. It was fast, strained and almost caused shivers. The guards ahead suddenly tensed up all together, some grabbed at their heads and all of them looked confused and dazed, as if they'd been collectively hit on the head by something.

"Outta the way, losers~" Ryan said gleefully, putting his guitar away and forming a war-hammer on his arm with blood armor, then wacked one guard out of his way like a wrecking ball.

Location: Castle Morris - Under the Throne Room

"Why did this happen!? The soldiers--failed! The prisoner escaped! And now he's brought a group of madmen rampaging through my castle!" the Duke bawled, slamming his open hands over a table carrying grimoires and sigils.

He tugged at his collar frustratedly and pulled loose a pendant bearing a strange, sea-blue stone.

"How is it possible?! Was the rituals I've conducted not enough!? Is there something missing?! Must more infernal blood be shed to summon these powers!?"
he growled on, grabbing a book and turning its pages angrily.

THen he paused. "Perhaps...perhaps its not the quantity...but the quality. If I were to face that infernal bard now, I would lose... I must abandon this mortal coil. I need...power...limitless...power..." he said grimly, grinning madly at himself.

Morris Castle-Tunnel's

Aaron heard Raz order them to move out but before he reacted she ran inside,he stand's up and looks at the crude map and see's a small square circled,he chases after her and tries to navigate the tunnel's,he hear's voices and one of them is Raz's the other seem's like a booming voice,He turn's the corner and pant's heavily

Aaron:Hey you shouldn't just run off like that what if these tunnel's had more of those freak's....Another one!!

Aaron Confused by their chat and his appearence tackle's the man onto the floor and tries to pin him down.

Aaron:Raz hurry and kill this thing!!

((OOC:LOL Thought it would be funny,he sounds like a scary guy on first glance xD))

[OOC: Too slow posting. I'll split up and move behind the group as slowly as my rate of posting.]

Everyone was gone in moments, leaving Aqui and her mount behind. Though partially marred by the blood and gore of the unfortunate guards, the castle was really a castle, majestic, grand and spectacular. The Elven girl was literally on her own sight seeing trip, moving silently, smiling at the sights - even if it were just a mere brick.

There was much to be appreciated in life, especially the sights.

Now that was something Aqui personally innovated when she got really bored - like she was at the moment. She wasn't a stickler for battling, so the opposition that the party faced did not appeal.

Whatever the case, following them seemed to be the wisest option at the moment. She nudged her mount forward.

“Tali, Clair, Aaron! Let’s move out and look sharp!” Tali looked up immediately when she heard her name. It was one thing to be given an order, yet it was another when she heard her name spoken like that. She wasn’t quite sure if she liked taking orders… but she would let it slide this time. The hallway that Tali and Berhu followed her down was mostly dark. However, dimly lit torches hung from the walls. Tali wasn’t a big fan of being in the dark, so any light was good as far as she was concerned.

As they continued down the hallway, Tali was unnaturally quiet. She wondered why everyone was here. Tali was in it for the money, Ryan acted as if he got anally raped, the wolfman was his friend… or something, but what about everyone else? Surely they had their reasons, but most people wouldn’t attempt to storm a demon filled castle just out of general shenanigans alone. Rubbing her hands through her hair, Tali came to the conclusion that she was getting really hot in the tunnel.

“Ugh… it is hot!” Complaining, she pointed the palm of her hand at her face and blasted out some wind and a bit of frost. It may have been a complete waste of power, but she was hot… and she surely wasn’t going to be able to stand the heat much longer. Finally, the tall woman, Raz, had reached the door and slowly opened it.

Behind the door was vulgarities the likes of which Tali hadn’t heard in a long time. Does everyone around here swear like a sailor? Tali thought. Surely they could run across a man that shouted out thinks like “excrement” instead of “shit” one day… That was probably wishful thinking on Tali’s part. Raz and the man were talking as Tali and Berhu strolled inside the kitchen. There was chicken everywhere, but for once Berhu didn’t move to grab the food. He must have still been full from the guards he ate.

“You were always the best of us, Raz! Never shied from a fight. Alright. I’ll take you there.” The man said. Tali was left wondering what he was speaking about. “Raz, can we trust this man? Also, what does he mean ‘the best of us’? Did you used to be a guard here or something?”

Location: Morris Castle: East Gates

With the two groups now divided up, and on their separate missions, the fun finally could start. Going with Ryan was Cerden, the orc, and the annoying little girl. Well of course, Cerden was included. Everybody was ready to do this shit...well everybody excluding Pom. Apparently she had some kind of worry or something. Ryan made sure those worries were put to rest. With Ryan's crazy attitude getting even crazier, there shouldn't be any worrying for his allies, but for his enemies should be shitting their pants right about now.

As the group got closer to the throne room, they were briefly stopped by one or two guards. It didn't seem right for everybody to attack them at once, so Ryan took at least one of them out with a simple note of his guitar. And if you were to be close to it, the sound would sound like rusty nails on a one-century old chalkboard. In other words, it wasn't an ear-pleasing sound, but that meant bad news for the guards, which was good news for the group.

With one whack from the hammer thing that was formed on the hand of Ryan, the guard went plummeting, and that meant the group could easily move on along without any trouble.

"Okay, so let's get moving before big ugly here wakes up." Cerden commented at the now un-conscious guard. He sort of chuckled as he found the way the guard's head bounced off of the stone steps pretty historical.

Raz turned at Tali's question and opened her mouth to answer when Aaron tackled Cid to the ground. The slight man shouldn't have been able to knock Cid over, but had succeeded simply because Cid hadn't expected it.

"By the prophets, Cid, don't kill him!" Raz said. She truly feared Cid would crush Aaron and wouldn't that look excellent in the history books?

"Aaron!" Her voice was so sharp it could cut steel. "Get off him! He's my friend. And if you think he's a freak, perhaps you better take a better look at me before you go crazy."

Raz glared at Aaron, her red-black eyes flashing dangerously.

Slowly, making sure Aaron had gotten the point, she turned back to Tali. "I was with twenty other soldiers here. We were part of a eugenics program meant to breed the best warrior possible, all to protect the Duke. Our training was our lives. Then one day the Duke decided he didn't need us and chose some demon spawn instead. They day he sent us out on the streets, he made our entire lives superfluous."

She gestured to Cid, who was now pushing himself to his feet. "This is my friend, a fellow soldier of that program. I trust him with my life. None of us have any love for the Duke. He'll help us take down the Duke."

And Raz's smile was bloodthirsty.

"Aaron!" Her voice was so sharp it could cut steel. "Get off him! He's my friend. And if you think he's a freak, perhaps you better take a better look at me before you go crazy."

Aaron:..Oh I'm so sorry I figured he was with those thing's...Really...?You look normal compared to him,I thought you were being attacked but I guess I didn't hear everything correctly.

Aaron Get's off the big guy and bow's.

Aaron:I'm Very Sorry for the Misunderstanding feel free to hit me if I've pissed you off...

Embarassed by this He just stand's there and scratches his head in shame,he think's to himself."I Really need to stop jumping in without thinking I'm gonna end up being killed by this woman at this rate."He Look's and Raz only to Receive a Soul smashing stare,he instantly looks down to the floor..

Raz rolled her eyes at Aaron's apology, a rather dramatic effect considering.

Cid, however, just laughed and slapped Aaron on the back, nearly knocking him off his feet. "No harm done. I like your spunk. Not many would try to tackle me the way you did."

"Anyone seen Clair?" Raz asked.

Cid laughed and slapped Aaron on the back, nearly knocking him off his feet. "No harm done. I like your spunk. Not many would try to tackle me the way you did."

Aaron:I can tell, your pretty intimidating at first glance..

He smiles scaredily at the big man and wonder's how DID he topple such a person,he just shrug's it off as he hear's Raz Ask a Question..

"Anyone seen Clair?"

Aaron:No you ran inside so quickly I just tried to catch up to you,She's probably in the tunnel's still...

Tali
Experiments… that sounds interesting. Tali thought. There was something about a scuffle between the Cid guy and that other guy. However, Tali was too busy being caught up in thought. Eugenics program that was meant to breed the best warrior possible… All of a sudden, Tali was very interested in this Raz character. Surely she wouldn’t mind if Tali ran some test to find out more about her? It was far too interesting to pass up… However, now was an inappropriate time. Maybe she would wait until Raz went to sleep.

However, if she ever woke up during that… Tali was one dead Elf. Tali simply stayed on Berhu who was somehow managing not to eat all the food in sight. All the while, Tali grew eerily silent as she thought about all the gold she would be getting topped on to the possibilities of her being able to study Raz some more.
