[RP] Kingdom Hearts: Into The Dusk

"Hey guys...I want to know something. I want to know why you fight?"

The words burnt themselves into her mind as they were said and her face turned alittle sad. She had already somewhat ignored Chao when she asked about who was following when Celeste had already started to follow and she felt somewhat bad for that too.

She kept her hand next to her heart as she thought back at her mother and the place she came from, the place she can now barely remember anymore even after a short amount of time.

"I fight.. for my mother."

She paused for a second before she continued on speaking wile moving.

"My mother protected me from a horde of heartless. She was a keyblade wielder and protected me and I protected her with the same power. A power I myself can't control."

She then walked up too Raven with a bright smile on her face.

"I left in search for Destiny Island after hearing about the heroes. It was completely unintentional that I got to Olympus Collosseum and met you thou."

She understood that she had rambled on and looked away from Raven too somewhat distance herself from him as she did not want to seem obnoxious or clingy or anything negative like that. She went quiet for now and positioned herself behind Raven until they were at the destination they were going too.

Laleth overheard this and kept her head low. She pondered this question, but knew she wouldn't be brave enough to answer. She had always been fighting, ever since she was a little girl. There was no escaping the complications of what she was...

"Well, we'll all answer that question, though it's best we ask when we get to our ship safely. Is that ok."

Laleth glanced up relieved and kept following the group. She fell into a deep thought about these people. Who was she to just up and leave her home? Why did she go along and begin fighting in the first place? Home.....Laleth fought for her home...for all of her past friends...

She kept trudging and then it kicked in. Her boredom. "Are we there yet?" she whined.
 
"Climb up , and we are in the city of Olympus.... its all ruins after the gods battled / battling each other... If a battle starts... RUN and follow me.. there is nothing we can do.. Herc will deal with it"

Raven listened to Hal, "Can't imagine why..." He then responded after pulling to the side. "Though why you like to be close to the gods is beyond me myself."

Hal looked over to Raven...

"Raven, Its because it makes an excellent base - not many people come up here.. If they do come up here - its hidden well, no one can find it... And maybe... its a bit of enlightenment to be up so close to the gods"

He kept walking and got to a stone wall

"well here we are people.. Welcome to Base Olympus and more importantly welcome to the city of the Gods"

As a girl spoke to him to answer the question he asked, he was listening very closely. When he got the opportunity to respond, he asked her, "How long do I have to decide if I want to join or not? I would like to know so I can think about it, but don't let me hold you back." He put his arrow bolts back inside of the sheath on his back. He was already considering going, as he had nothing better to do and he would like to see more of the universe. But to do something without thinking about it usually doesn't end too well. Maybe it wasn't for him. But if he had to decide now, he would do it.

Blade​

"Do I think it's right?" Blade thought this question was rather ridiculous. "It can't be write or wrong. If they didn't try to do anything like this then how would the balance be maintained? The balance is offense and defense. The light will only seek to defend what they desire to defend and the dark will want to gain everything they can. If Dark didn't try anything, what would happen to the world? And almost stagnant state of peace will never happen." Blade was looking up at his superior while speaking. The words were coming directly from his heart that was taken away. "The way I see it, this is perfect balance, and we only seek to calm everything down. the dark realm is power and lust, and the light is a solid wall, it can shake and falter, but it will never fall."

Blade then realized what he was doing. "Sorry, I seemed to have rambled, but I think what I say is true." He stopped talking and just looked at the arbiter, Hrimfaxi.

OOC: Mind me opening the way to the base? If not, I'll edit it.

"I suppose your right." Hrimfaxi said, looking out to the afternoon sky over Olympus. "In any case, continue to look on Raven's team. Personally, I don't see what purpose they serve for the Valahia (the name of the organization) or for "The Phantom." But I'm not one to question orders."

Hrimfaxi opened a dark portal, which would take her to the Central World of the Empire of the Heartless Horde, the Dark City of Nekros.

"You be careful out there." She said, entering the portal before dissapearing beyond it.

"How long do I have to decide if I want to join or not? I would like to know so I can think about it, but don't let me hold you back."

"Well you have until we get back to the islands..." Raven said. "I'd say we could make the decision at the coliseum, and since we're in Olympus at such a bad time, I'd be best that if you decided not to come with us, at least spend some time in my homeworld."

"well here we are people.. Welcome to Base Olympus and more importantly welcome to the city of the Gods"

Raven walked up to the stone wall, and started feeling it. "Let me guess, you have a hidden switch that opens the way to the base..." The split second he said these words, Raven pushed the button and stepped back as the walls split into 5 and sank into the ground.

"You know, I wish I had something like that back in my house. I'd keep my personal stuff there."

Luna crossed her arms and said in a serious tone, "What kind of personal stuff?"

"Oh, nothing you shouldn't be too worried about, hehe." Raven rubbed the back of his head.

Hal followed Raven in..

There was a long set of stairs going down into the mountain itself..

"Years ago I found this old place whilst on a recon mission in the early years of the heartless war.. It's been my home away from home and my 2nd base from the one on destiny Island.. But since that one is security sealed forever and I'm not getting back in for anythign.. I've had everything transferred here all my files are on the system called "INTEL"

traversing the stairs down he looked at a globe on the wall

"Hello I.N.T.E.L"

"Good Evening Doctor, I hope everything is okay - There was a rather large data transfer from I.N.T."

"Yes I know, Unfortunatly I.N.T. Is fully out of action for good.. You have full control of the systems.. How are the robots dealing with the Gummii BluePrints I sent?"

"I know it is Unfortunate Dr..."

"Please INTEL, Hal"

"As you wish Hal, Well the blueprints are good, the ship shall be ready within a few hours.. If you are your party would like to go to Command room 1. Someone is waiting for you there.."

"INTEL... Who is waiting in Command Room 1"

"Tannoy System Activated"
"Incoming Message from Command Room 1 - Destination INTEL"

"Yo! Dude - Come on in - The Robots are hard at work and soon that ship'll be finshed and we can trial run it"

"INTEL. When did Argus arive?"

"About 4/5 Hours ago Hal, he brings information about the heartless campaign across the stars and in the realm of light and dark"

Hal turned to Raven on the stairs

"Raven, I've got some business to do... INTEL can you direct Raven to Lounge 1 with the rest of the party... I'll be back soon I need to talk with Argus about the rest of our Campaign.. When I get back I'll explain everything."

"Guys.. Make yourself at Home ... Your home is mine and Ciao"

Hal ran down the stairs and quickly turned off the stairs and went into Command Room 1... Where the Lights suddenly went out..

"You never Learn Argus"

"INTEL Lights Autocommand Sequence #34636"

The lights suddenly flicked back on...

Hal took a seat at the desk and put his feet up on the desk.

"So ... tell me whats new? You first and then I'll then explain this galaxies issues"
 
OOC: HAve o idea as what to do, so im gonna have both my character lounge around. A short post

Chao and Kaufman.

Both women had exceedingly similar personality. A pure fighter, happy go lucky and can be rather carefree at the worst of times, like now. Both were taking a casual pace along with the group. Chao was just following Raven and Luna as they knew what to do the most. Kaufman, was a bit more concentrated, looking at the tech available here. She planned to start gathering intel on how to get back.

Celeste did now know what to think at the moment. She was at the Olympus base, the city of the Gods. She was somewhat astonished about all of this going so fast and smooth for her. She felt somewhat pleased and safe being with all these strong people.

As the wall split into and sank into the ground revealing the base she was somewhat frightened. She was not a huge fan of such hidden places and was somewhat afraid of getting stuck in there or something. However knowing that she could most likely trust these people she sighed in relief.

She kept herself close too Raven as they walked in there and made sure that she kept her eye on him so she knew where she was going. She did not want to get lost down there now that she have finally managed to get her ticket too the island and too help them with the fight against the heartless.
 
Hal looked over at Argus

"Lestar, the gate on this planet and on them all grow weak... My men are doing what they can to make sure they don't open... its not a question of if.. its a question of when. They will open and the power behind them all.. the heartless, the arbitar's will be released to the world.. We already lost destiny Island.."

"I lost alot of people in that battle... nearly myself.. and please.. Brother that name is dead.. as dead as our parents... please its Hal"

Argus looked more annoyed than ever. He slammed his fist onto the desk

"Have you forgotten! The Promise of us seven sat at the gates of olympus 15 years ago when we sealed this place!"

"Don't!" Hal's voice got alot more serious "think that I ever forget that moment that mother was stolen from us.. I've been tracking her for 15 years...... And Still Nothing!"

"Its time you stepped back into the light Brother, We need you back on our sides to seal these gates longer."

"Argus...." Hal stood up and went to the window looking out to the Gummi Hanger
"This galaxies.. the worlds, the stars... the people are ..."

"Your Warriors? Your disposable Army"

"NO!... They are my friends.. I care about them all... How long do we have till olympus gates are broken?"

"A day tops..."

"Then I'll destroy this base, no where will be safe for our order anymore.. A great tide is coming Argus... A great battle... That is where we shall meet again"

"As you wish General..." With that there was a bright light and argus dissipated back into the realm of light

Hal took a deep breath and opened a window behind him... "Raven, come up here I need to brief you on whats happening.. we have about 24 hours left before we Must leave"

Hal took a seat at the top of the table and pressed a panel and a monitors came out of the table and he started to find files up and throw them onto panals around the room... He turned on the lights and then waited for Raven...

"A great tide comes soon"
 
"So Raven, I never did get an answer." Eliane said, "I know why Celeste fights, but I want to know what you..."

"Raven, come up here I need to brief you on whats happening.. we have about 24 hours left before we Must leave"

Eliane groaned as Raven got up. "All right, I'm on my way." He got up and started heading to where Hal was, with I.N.T leading him there.

Eliane instead turned towards Luna, to which Luna responded, "I know you're going to ask me the same question...Don't"

"Why?"

"I have my reasons, most of which I like to keep to myself."

With that, Eliane crossed her arms, and waited for Raven and Hal to get back so they could get off of Olympus.

Raven finally made it to Hal's location. With that, Raven asked, "So, what's the situation, Hal?" He knew that when Hal had called him up for a briefing, it's usually something important.
 
Hal stood up..

"Raven.. The man who was in here, Argus... Is my brother... by blood but brother by service as well.. I am a Knight of the Order of the Rose... an ancient order which protects the world from the heartless...."

Hal stood up and walked over to the windows...

Pressing a button a image flashed around Raven

"The Order of the Rose is a hidden organisation formed at the gates of olympus 15 years ago. We were warriors to remove the threat of the heartless from the world. All blessed from Zeus himself and given the power to go into the realm of light and darkness.."

The whole order went power mad... they went into the realm of darkness and slaughtered thousands... Then retreated to the one place the heartless couldn't get to them.. The realm of light.. The onslaught brought the heartless to this planet.

Hal pressed another button and then opened the sky roof up..

"Look up, the gate there - is the gate of olympus.... To the left - is the gate of darkness, and the right is the gate of light... the darkness gate is close to breaking.... Argus says in less than 24 hours.... It is collapse completly and olympus will be overcome by heartless.."

"What we need to do is get off this planet... There is a ship down there big enough for us all... "

"Any Questions?"
 
After Raven heard all the stuff from what Hal have to say, Raven said, "Isn't there anyway to repair the gate to darkness?" Raven said, crossing his arms. "If not, tell Commander Hamilton to send in some spare warriors to keep the Heartless back until we can secure it. Besides, he did say that we have an electronic defense system set up in the world. He told me it works like the one in Radiant Garden."

Raven started walking back, "In any case, we should get back to Unity Islands, if we need to get off this world, best get off now like intended."

OOC: Sorry for short post.

Hal nodded and started to walk out of the command room.

"Well then.. its Decided... Unity Island next stop... Lets tell the rest of them the situation ... and then get going .. There is a gummi ship prototype in my hanger"
 
Raven headed back to the rest of the group. Luna looked up and saw Raven come in.

"So, what did Hal want?" she asked.

"Well, right now, I will have to contact Commander Hamilton. We will need more troops to protect this world."

"How come?" Eliane asked,

"Apparently, the heartless we fought will be coming back with reinforcements. I'll explain more when we get on the ship."

Turning to Hal, he said, "Otacon, lead the way."

Luna and Eliane stood up and headed out the door. "The rest you guys, can come with me as well. No use sitting in here." Raven said with a serious face.
 
Hal nodded... and looked at the console next to the door

"INTEL, light corrdior sub section 3A "

"Need to light the section to hanger"

He pressed a button on the wall and the subsection of the wall moved out of the way

"INTEL you have control of the base"

Hal started to walk down the corridor and along a steel corridor to a ladder

"Follow Me"

Hal went down the ladder and started to walk towards the ship

"Ladies and Gentlemen... May I introduce you to the Mark III, my Prototype ship... Raven see why I manage to hide - its a nice ship - lots of new features..."

Hal looked over at it and opened a door

"There is plenty of room for us all in here"

He went into the ship

Kaufman
kaufman hammered away on a keyboard as she skimmed geographical data. From what she was reading, she was on an entirely different planet. How that happened, God knows. Space flight wasn't new to her. It was just not her cup of tea. However, given the circumstances, there was no choice. Her research was interrupted bu Raven.

The rest you guys, can come with me as well. No use sitting in here.

Time to earn my pay i guess.

Closing all applications and pulling her storage device, Kaufman followed Raven and Hal towards the hangar and the ship. It was a fancy looking ship, but Shiva was still much more elegant in her design, but then again, that was biased talk. Shrugging her shoulder, Kaufman followed behind the doctor and flopped herself down at another seat.

Chao

The constant hammering of the keyboard was drilling into Chao's head. The glasses gunslinger's fingers were like a machine gun and any minute now, Chao could almost see the board breaking. Only when Raven came in did the drilling stopped. There was work to be done. She knew the drill. Get in ship, fly to destination, destroy or defend, rest. It almost seemed routine. As always, the ship they had was another fancy design. Regardless, she stepped into the ship

So, where's our next destination Raven?

"The rest you guys, can come with me as well. No use sitting in here."

Celeste smiled as she followed Raven too the new location which had a ship that the man named Hal had made. She was yet again amazed and this time because of the ship that exist here.

"Wow.."

She looked at it up and down and really liked it. It was much better than the ship she hiked with that made her end up on Olympus. She was somewhat nervous about this whole situation. She could hear the word heartless being mentioned and that itself worried her. One thing was certain and that is that she wanted too fight them, to remove them from the world.

Walking into the ship she placed her hands behind her and graced them down too make sure she was sitting on her dress in the seat she decided too take. She was expecting them too leave soon so she braced herself for another bumpy ride as she did not have great experiences with ship rides.
 
Laleths eyes were wide as she gazed at the ship. She had never seen such a thing before. It was huge and looked like it came right out of a sci-fi movie. Laleth didn't know how to react. The sisters at the church would normally encourage her to show interest and to get more social, but somehow she was speechless.

Laleth explored the ship, breaking away from the others as she explored all of the crevices. She was searching for one particular thing, but somehow she couldn't find it. She held her parisol dantily as she walked through each of the ships corridors, opening and closing doors. Shehad begun to get lost when she spotted a room with seats and the group she had lost before.

She peeked her head in, an time was running out. She needed to find the "Bathroom! Where's the bathroom on this ship?" Laleth blurted out.

It was an embarrassing question but she was a kid after all and hoped they would understand. But she also wanted to be treated as an adult which would have to be put on hold for this emergemncy. As she saw all of the people sitting and bracing themselves she herself began to blush. "Looks like I'll have to wait until we take off then." Laleth groaned as she sat in a nearby seat.

She did not bring any extra clothes with her, so she hoped she could find anything to relieve herself of this growing obstacle.
 
Hal started pressing buttons on the control panel.

"Raven, I modelled the controls on the old arkbrid and the pelican... they aren't too bad anymore"

Hal strapped himself into the driver's seat and sealed the door

"Okay guys, strap yourself in.. Take off's a bit bumpy"

She needed to find the "Bathroom! Where's the bathroom on this ship?" Laleth blurted out.

"The bathroom is down the corridor - can you hold on till we go past the atmosphere - 3/4 minutes after take off"

"Yes, but try not to make it too bumpy please!" Laleth said as she strapped herself in her chair.

She waited patiently for the ship to start moving again so that she could search for the one place that could relievev her of her troubles of the moment. Hopefully she could wait while the force of a thousand waterfalls awaited inside her bladder...
