I now has physical appearance! I know it's a total rip-off of the FFT monk, but eh. I wanna see how an old school character (sorta) fares in the futuristic world (to him) of FF7. Be kinda interesting to act out. X3 have him get scared by a car and perform Deathblow on it.

... Then run from the cops. hell yes.
 
I don't really know how Cissnei would fit into the RP in this timeline, or of the likelihood Jess would go with it, and I don't think anyone is gonna wanna be the Turk character Rude just for some of the Turks to be in it, so I have come to a decision on my canon character situation...

You ready for this? I am going to go with...Tifa Lockhart. I'll probably get the bio posted up for her some time after someone else replies to this, so I don't have to edit this, or double post. :P

I just find it a good mix to work with a male character and a female character, it provides good variety, I can get more versatility experience points for RPing like that. Plus, I think it would be my first time RPing using an actual Human character. :wacky:

Like Ohri says hed like to get the Comet Materia later on, id like the 2xCut materia and to eventually master it and give it someone else after.

Also as the adventure goes along more materia will become equippable through pieces off armor? and weapons? coz ATM im not sure what the lay out of my materia is do we have 6 slots on our weapons or 3 on our armor + 3 on our weapon?

It's probably a good idea to have a list like this; even though I would hope people would know what materia to leave until later on. If you want to come up with one, feel free and I'll take a look ;)

You're right, as the story progresses you'll obtain better weapons with more materia slots. I wouldn't expect you to go through the whole thing with bare essentials.

My bad, I had a complete mind blank with Cissnei :oops: but as CW said, it could be tricky to integrate her into this RP. If you want Yuffie, post a bio for her and she's your's. We want to get this going now.

Oh also, in regards to Materia I understand we have the 6 maximum equipped materia but are we allowed to 'carry' materia to switch for others?

Also, in regards to canon characters, would they too get better weapons? Like Cloud getting the Hardedge?

To begin with I'd say no material switching, but yes as you progress. Example, a little way into the rp you acquire some bolt materia but have no empty slots. Keep hold of it a switch when you need to. That sound good?

Yes to your other question by the way. Canon characters can upgrade weapons just as any orignal character can.
 
I would prefer RPing as Cissnei over Yuffie, but if that would be too hard to work in, I'll just go with an original instead. :lew:
 
Originals I find most intriguing, they may be less predictable than some canon character we are all familiar with, so I could hardly say I am opposed to that.

Sorry, I'll try get Tifa's bio up in my next post, I'm kind of nervous about it to be honest, though I think I could deliver okay, at least for the most part...I hope.

Physical Appearance:

Weapons: Gloves

Materia: Bolt - All (paired), Restore, STR Plus, SPD Plus, Cover.

Limit Break: Beat Rush. Tifa uses her martial arts to perform a rapid combo attack against a single enemy.

Personality: A down to earth, and good hearted woman. She has always been supportive of Cloud Strife, as a love interest as well as aiding him in battle with a pair of very powerful fists.

History: Tifa reopened the 7th Heaven bar in Midgar on Sector 7, working there as a bartender, and at a time serving as a base of operations for an anti-Shinra group called AVALANCHE, sporting a secret hideout area underneath of the main floor.

Cloud had been hired by them to assist them in their Anti-Shinra Missions, which had been consisting of blowing up their Mako Reactors that had been stationed along the edge of Midgar, of which there were several.

But after many events since then, it had been destroyed along with the city of Midgar brought to ruins by the meteorfall.

Tifa had since had it rebuilt in the new city; Edge, being the owner of the bar, as well as the bartender as before.

X3 I really want Orion and Tifa to meet.... just so A. they can have a bad-ass brawl (probably not) and B. so they can team up as a bare-fisted duo! (more likely)

Side note, as Deathblow is such an impossibly strong materia, I'll be getting rid of it early on: I'll just be using it for my opening post and that's probably it, so on my next post it'll be stolen by some random street hoodlum when Orion isn't paying attention. After that, I'll just grab a new materia before I leave Midgar. While being down one materia for a time will weaken me, I thrive for the challenge of it.
 
Hm... Hey Farro, kind of stuck on the History section of Tifa's bio (sorry the rest of it isn't so great either, hardly up to par with my other...), no sure what specifics you might like the bio to have for certain.

Especially with the significance in the fact that Cloud is indeed part of this RP, so any advice on what to put in it? Anything would be hugely appreciated, as I am pretty sure it would be too much to put everything or almost everything on her from the game and the movie.

And even if that isn't so, I'd need someone else to write it up or something if I need to put most everything into it like how there is a bunch of stuff in that Cloud bio's history section, because an RPG Director in a new year is very busy, much too much so for typing up her an amount of background details for a character that is so well known by many. :|

That confused me, my name's Damon too :gasp:

I'd prefer a bio if you dont mind guys. Even though they're Canon characters, the histories can make it somewhat easier to introduce them into the rp. For example, CW, you could say in Tifa's bio that she's re-opened seventh heaven, or something along those lines.

Not saying thats what you should do, its just an example :)

I've not seen 'Lee - Rufus' pop up on the first post, might have been on purpose, hope not :wacky:

Looking forward to getting involved in some RPs on here again, been while.
