thank you :) I quite happy with the scan lines myself now XD i need to remember if i use them again to keep them on a very low level :)

It's not that I don't like your stuff, cause I do. I think that you need to widen the variety of effects you use. I've seen you use those light circles a lot. I'm not saying it's dull, but has gotten a bit overused on your part. But with that aside, it's still nice.

This piece is adorable! The colours are so warm, it's a nice size, well framed and the blending is pretty good too. :) You merge renders with backgrounds quite well! :D What effects do you use?
 
Stevie, I absolutely HATE HATE HATE anime. I CAN'T STAND IT AND I HATE THEIR SIGS EVEN MORE.

Your sigs, however, are very nice and well done. Good job conveying your passion. (y) Many artists on here could learn from you.

i totally agree with your point there, it something i hate doing and I need to stop :wacky: but thanks for the comments :)

in this case it was a stock not a render, but normally I just use a mixture of lighting using brushes, the burn and dodge tool, and I also use the gradients, my method is pretty much the same and was inspired by raul work :ryan: the key is to use gradients, I normally use one color from the render and one from the background stock :)

haha, thanks that made my night thank you, I don't see how people could learn from me but hey ho i'm glad you still like them even when you hate anime, I know not to talk about it with you

also if anybody has any tutorials on effects, would be a great help, cuz what afterglow said is right, I am using the same effects all the time :wacky:
 
after a quick break to try and improve my effects i'm back..... with different effects now...... woooo finally something different in my work :P

anyway here a Estelle sig I made today...... well tonight :wacky:
