@Shace The Great: Your Bio is accepted, Looking to see what Mr. 1000 learns through his travels.
Anyway, here's the last of the three player characters I will be using. The RP will begin Thursday, March 28.
----
Name:
Gisale Augusta Wettin-Gesalios (aka the Brandish)
Age:
30
Date of Birth:
1 October 1786
Race:
Genome
Gender:
Female
Appearance:
Gisale is a tall and imposing figure, standing in at 6 feet tall. She has long platinum blonde hair extending down to her waist. Her eyes are silvery grey in color, giving her a title amongst some circles as "The Silver-Eyed Witch." Like many of her race, she has a prehensile monkey's tail, with platinum blonde fur. Gisale has a pale complexion, but not too the point of it being completely white.
Her attire consists of a lightweight, almost skintight white suit underneath some light armor on her legs in the form of greaves, and on her arms in the form of gauntlets. She wears a billowing white cape with the emblem of the Blue Winged Knights, a company that she herself leads. Later during the RP, her white cape will be replaced with a black poncho-type cloak with a hood, to better hide her face from those that she wishes not to be found out.
Personality:
Gisale is a calm and collected knight, and one who is usually insightful about peoples faults and does her best to correct them. Her calmness in a serious situation is matched with her almost tranquil fury in battle. She is honorable and well-intentioned, despite an aura of sadness that prevails over her, and almost never smiles at any situation, thus giving her another moniker, "The Maiden of the Faint Smile." In a sense, she almost seems like she seeks to die in battle, though her intentions are unknown.
Class:
Knight
Abilities:
Erde Arm: Attacks with powerful physical strikes with both her sword and her hands and legs.
Erde Arm:
-Bardiche: Swings her sword downward on the opponent with the flat end of the sword.
-Climhazzard: Strikes her opponent with an explosive slash, followed by a kick to the face.
-Dragon's Wrath: A Defensive feint move, Gisale swings her blade with such force that it could destroy or damage low-grade blades.
-Cross-Slash: Gisale strikes her opponent with three powerful swings followed by an elbow to the face.
-Octa-Slash: Gisale swings her blade seven times before launching a final upwards slash.
Trance:
In Trance mode, Gisale's clothes become tattered and her hair and irises turns red. In this form, Gisale's strength is doubled.
Weapon:
Gisale's weapon is a Greatsword known as "Antares." Named after the star in the southern sky, Antares is a great sword 5 feet long and nearly a foot wide and is ordained with an emblem of a Scorpion on both sides of the hilt. Due to its immense size, it is a weapon only Gisale can manage to wield. Her ability to use it effectively for heavy blows, yet able to use it as if it was somewhat of a light weapon is a feat no other individual in Gaia knows of.
History:
Gisale was one of two twin Genomes created by Garland in Terra. Because she and her twin were created without souls, they lacked any sort of emotion and feeling, the only thing on their mind being the restoration of Terra by assimilating Gaia. That all changed when Kuja arrived and destroyed Terra, forcing Gisale, among many others of her kind, to flee to the Black Mage Village.
Her life spent in Gaia was filled with learning and finding a new purpose in life, a fact that would be defined with the Terran Spring and the incorporation of emotions and feeling as a result of an (to this day) unknown and unexpected phenomenon. Gisale would spent the next 3 years living and continuing to learn from within the safe confines of the Black Mage Village before she left with her twin brother Alphonse to the Outer Continent. It would be there that the Genomes would settle in Ipsen's Castle, with Alphonse, their leader, becoming the King of the nascent new nation.
During her travels, she met a young and rambunctious adventuerer named Cyril Gesalios. The two became fast friends as they trekked across Continents and braved seas on the road to Ipsen. Soon their friendship blossomed into romance and the two were married on September 3, 1803, choosing to abandon her newly established royal lineage to live with her new husband. Together they set off to find their own adventures, traveling around the world and exploring Gaia as they saw fit. A year later, on May 18, 1804. Gisale gave birth to their son, Émile.
The Gesalios family, after years of travel, finally decided to settle down in the newly established Kingdom of Oeilvert. Their time of peace and tranquility however came to an end with the Oeilvert Civil War, which began three years later. Her family, fearing for their safety, chose to side with one of Cyril's close friends and a claimant for the vacant Oeilvertian Imperial throne, Louis de Gaul.
However the claimant was sickly, and near death despite his successes. Because he had no heir, Louis feared that his men would lose direction and be slaughtered by his rivals. As a result, he chose Cyril to become the heir to the throne, thus putting Gisale once again at the seat of royal prerogative once more.
Gisale took a semi-active role in the Civil War. Not only leading troops to battle, but also spending time with her son Émile, to try and shelter him from the war. So far, it seemed to work, and as Cyril was already close to becoming King, Gisale would be by his side, helping to set up government and create Oeilvert to ensure a lasting peace.
It was on one fateful day, on December 11, 1813, a group of assailants barged into the Imperial palace of Oeilvert, with the intent to assassinate Cyril and his family, and thus continue the civil war. The fighting was fierce and there were many casualties, but in the end, it was Cyril and Gisale who managed to overpower and defeat his assailants. It would come at a terrible price however, as in the confused fighting, Émile got caught in the crossfire and was found dead, to the grief of both parents. The day heralded the descent of Cyril into madness, and was evident over the following weeks and into the sixth year of the civil war when he began ordering his soldiers to actively kill civilians and soldiers alike, initiating dangerous experiments on others and doing what he could to bring his son back.
Gisale, distraught at what Cyril was starting to become decided to confront him, in an attempt to bring some reason back into him. What came as a result was a brutal battle between husband and wife all across the castle. The two warriors were evenly matched, despite every cut, bruise or magical damage inflicted on each other. Finally, after an excrutiating 45 minutes of battle, Cyril managed to barely come out on top, using a powerful spell to send Gisale crashing through a window and right to the outskirts of the palace, thus terminating their marriage and, as Cyril believed, her life.
But Gisale survived the encounter, barely clinging to life. She managed to flee Oeilvert, heading northward to her brother's homeland of Ipsen. Braving the elements and the creatures, she would trek for three days before she would arrive at the gates of Ipsen's castle, only to collapse there. Fortunately, many of the people, as well as the arrival of King Alphonse von Wettin, saw her arrival and helped to nurse her body back to health, an arduous process that took her many weeks.
It was as she was being healed that she would meet with General Beatrix Steiner, serving as liaison for Ipsen from Alexandria. Because Beatrix would be retiring soon, she needed someone to lead the Blue Winged Knights, a soldier group she herself created, and also to help train her young daughter Annelise in the ways of the warrior. Gisale accepted the offer, and Beatrix would take Gisale with her to Alexandria, where she was promptly introduced to Queen Garnet XVII and King-consort Zidane. Gaining their support and the friendship of many in Alexandria's court and Parliament, she was appointed as Commanding Officer of the Blue Winged Knights.
Now she stands at the forefront, the crossroads of destiny. Would she be able to turn her blade once more against the man she once loved?
