hes actually easy i beat him at lv 56 on proud made :)
just use trinity limit + beserk charge and its really simple ^_^

I found him easier than the KH1 Sephiroth. His attacks were easier to memorize i guess..

At level 70-75 you aquire the berserk ability, which allows you unlimited combos while in MP charge. You need a healthy supply of elixirs for this battle. I suggest removing everything but Curaga and Elixir from your customize menu, you don't wanna accidently use the wrong item in the heat of the battle. With this ability and customization in place, do the following:

When the battle starts, use the Guard reaction command to offset his first attack. Follow that up with Trinity limit, and lock on to him. Be sure to use all the reaction command combos for Trinity limit. When the Trinity attack ends, begin attacking him with your sword relentlessly for as long as he lets you. When he dissapears and reappears attacking you, you have one two options, run and use an Elixir and use Trinity limit again, or wait for an opening in Sephiroth's attack to continue to attack him until your MP is full again, and you can repeat Trinity limit.

Do this for the entire battle, and always Lock on to him, and this fight should be a lot easier.

Remember that you have hit Sephiroth with a 'Finishing Move' to kill him, or else his life stays at 1 until you do. While in berserk you won't use ANY FINISHER AT ALL , so remember to replenish your MP and use Trinity limit to finish him off.

he was just plain easy I used berserk charge and he just died... anyways I think he was way too easy...

Exactly. I tried a few times and died :( but then on what was gonna be my final attempt i was in the zone!! I had to rearrange my shortcuts, so accidentally used all my elixirs, but I worked out the exact timing for curaga with heartless angel, and didn't need them!! You're not wrong with the berserk charge though. well easy.

Compared to kingdom hearts 1 though, he required more skill but less stats. It was hard to dodge Kh1 when you'd done four health-bars cause he was fast, so you needed to survive his blows. In KH2 you could dodge with various skills obtained from drive level ups, but had to make sure you were down to use Triangle block. Also, it was easy to ensure that you hit sephy when he was using heartless angel in KH1, but in KH2, if you had skills, you could negate its effects.

Come on out, Sephiroth, I'm ready for you...

When do you get to fight Sephiroth? I've been waiting for SO LONG to get to im, but my patience is wearing thin. Where is he?

At the end of the game, go back into the world that has all the FF characters (Cid, Yuffie) and go to where that massive battle was down below... Walk all the way through that and at the end you'll loop up onto an overlook. On that overlook is where you had a run in with the witch bitch and the top guy in Organization XIII before. Whatever, I don't recall names. The game isn't important enough. Anyhow, that's where Sephiroth will be. He makes some comment like "Oh so that's a keyblade? I think I'll take it" or something and then continues on to beat your ass mercilessly.

^ He's referring to Hollow Bastion/ Radiant Garden. Beyond the area of the 1000 Heartless Fight, you'll notice him overlooking the castle. Approach him, then battle commences.

Tip though... don't run straight in there when the fight starts. Hold down triangle...

Yep listen to Saix. Seph is a bitch to fight in this game, so make sure you plenty of Elixirs prepared, you have Trinity Limit equipped, Berserk charge equipped, Reflega and Curaga. Also make sure you have Glide equipped too. He deals some pretty devastating attacks. Atleast be around a level 85 when you go to fight him. I'm at a level 87 and it took me numerous tries to finally defeat him! Good luck!

Ensure that you've spent all your boosts on Sora. If anything, use all the defence boosts on him so he's able to withstand some of Sephiroth's relentless barrages of sword strikes. Having High Jump is another must, along with LA's suggestion of Glide. You don't really have to use your strongest Keyblade, so using one which aids in the restoration of your MP gauge helps a lot. Try Rumbling Rose, too. Stringing together your Finishers might turns the tables for you.

Another advised ability to equip is Guard. Might just save your life. That, along with support abilities which enable you to survive damage from big hits and combos... guy has a lot of 'em. Try to conserve your MP too. A quick Curaga saved my ass multiple times.

Leaf bracer. <3

It's actually possible to fight him immediately after the change from Hollow Bastion > Radiant Garden, you don't have to wait till the end of the game. Although, more often than not, it's impossible to beat him at a low level, anyway. He's much more difficult than in Kingdom Hearts I.

Also when he starts to glow and raise into the air (he also says something but I can't remember what, reminder Riku?) make sure you hit him, NO MATTER WHAT or he'll unleash heartless angel on you and then you can kiss your sorry ass goodbye ;)

that's his Sin Harvest attack it drains all HP and MP (puts you to one hit left).

I recommend mastering the Wisdom Drive. you get access to MP Rage and Dash (which is really effective in getting over to Sephy when he starts Sin Harvest).

Negative Combo is a must here imo as well as aerial dodge and counter strike (when something hits you, you press square to immediatly fight back). Stuff like Finishing Plus is a must.

Don't try and stay airborne too much though because his super flashy speed attack (the one you need to press Triangle for) can hit you there. Although when he does this, you can immediately catch him in a combo, particularly towards the end of the fight as he's very hard to hit because of his constant teleporting.

Hi-Potions Ethers and Elixers are the way to go.

I wouldn't bother with Trinity Limit personally but that's just me.

And I found him to be much harder in KH1.

And I found him to be much harder in KH1.

Same, but only for the reason that Sora wasn't as versatile in 1 as he is in 2. The primitive skills in 1 were just painful to work with...

Though I do feel Sephiroth in KH2 provides much more of a challenge.

He's in Radiant Garden where Saix was when you encountered him. But be warned! He is very strong and faster than last time. I should know, I went in without being ready ...
