FF Music the best ff song like ever

I have many. Some are--

The orchestral version of "Bombing Mission," "Anxious Heart," FFVII's "Overworld Theme," The original orchestral "One Winged Angel," "Hanabi," "The Coin Song," "Phantom Train," and "The Nightmare Begins."

However, my all time favorite Final Fantasy song is "Liberi Fatali" (and it's not from FFVII...!)

but actually:
I really really liked the Black Mages' version of Matoya's Cave. So relaxing to listen to.
 
"To the place of the Gods" from FFXII is my favorite atm. And "Wandering" from FFX is so soothing. But I don't think I could ever name my all time favorite. Love them all! :tighthug:
 
It sounds so pretty that one as well.

I have many well liked tracks, but one that sounds the best to me - You're Not Alone. I just find it very uplifting.
 
Eyes One Me, Melodies of Life, I basically love most of the vocal pieces in FF, plus To Zarnakand as a piano piece.

Ahh, I like them all. >.>
 
My favs have to be:

"Roses and Wine": When Rinoa and Squall are floating in space.
"Chase Of Highway": When Cloud is chasing Kadaj down the highway in AC.
"Song Of Prayer": Every version from every temple, especially Valefor.
"Silence Before The Storm": The theme to Macalania Woods in X.
"The Crystal Theme": It plays on the opening screen in VII.

Overall, even though VII had some great classics, I think X had the best and most profound music.

Skies Above (ie To Zanarkand) the main FFX theme is gorgeous beyond words. If it was possible to marry a song- well, I'd be a wife by now ^.^
 
One-Wing Angel, Dancing Mad, Devil's Lab, You're not alone and a few others.
Dancing mad is just Awesome. Best.Ever.Song.
But all others are as great. Congratulations, Nobuo and all others.
 
My favourite is eyes on me. It always gets me thinking about laguna, raine and julia, it was such a sad story. The advent children one is also really good when the guitars start playing, think the black mages changed it about a bit
 
one winged angle is the seller for me i mean what doesn't it have? How can you go wrong with chorus and metal? Answer is you can't
 
I guess its One Winged Angel. It really fits Sephiroth quite well. My mood is basically described nicely in the song itself when i challenge Sephiroth lols...! Quite a masterpiece by Nobuo Uematsu, as usual.
 
Hmm, I my favourites are two of them, which are , final fantasy 9 feel my blade and final fantasy 8 the man with the machine gun. They are very good, I think. :)
 
So difficult to decide :)

All the music composed in every single Final Fantasy and it's spin-offs are parts of my favorite songs of whole time.
But as far as i read the thread, you guys haven't heard?

Clash on the Big Bridge a.k.a Gilgamesh's theme.
Man. That song is so epic that it gives me a chill on my back everytime i listen to it.
 
I have many themes I like, those include: Dark Messenger, Clash on the Big Bridge Controllling the Iron Beast, Last Order, Those who fight further, among many others.

The music from the Final Fantasy series is simply amazing and I listen to my cds as often as I can.

In terms of songs I quite like 'Suteki Da Ne' from FFX, it is a really beautiful song and the lyrics are very pretty. Like I have said before Tidus and Yuna annoyed me a bit but the ending was very well put together and quite emotional. Listening to this song always hits emotional strings even if I dont automatically think FFX. Its just because I associate this song with feelings of loss and emptiness.

Music wise, my god where do I start! I think all time favourite music score is from FFVIII's opening, 'Liberi Fatali'. That is incredible! Actually a great deal of my favourite musical pieces originate from the FFVIII soundtrack. I also like 'The Extreme' and 'Succession of Witches'.

Also like (in no particular order) 'One winged Angel', 'Crumbling of Time Extended', 'Death on the Snowfield', and 'Illusionary World'. Many others as well.

Songs I hated, were anything from FFX-2, nothing but a bunch of gimmicky songs thrown together for what reason? But they are totally Japanesey sounding, Japan has some of the worst pop artists I have ever heard.

Best song ever though would be the Final Fantasy prelude.

It serves it's purpose. Connecting the worlds and relaxes you for the next big adventure! On we go!

Congratulations, you have outstanding taste in music, Liberi Fatali was an excellently put together score.

As well as these, i loved the Dali theme from FF9 and the Besaid theme from FFX.

This brings me neatly round to my next point. Where is the best place to get hold of soundtracks? So far as i have seen, they are like gold dust; readily available in the right market but thoroughly expensive. Any thoughts?
