Well enjoy you guys ^^ Talks about why Move wouldnt work and alot more. The artwork is just beautiful :ryan:

Looks like Drake and Sully will have a very interesting Father/son relationship. But rest assured that chicks will be back :tehe:

/double post since it is apparently ok. Sorry If the scans were really image heavy. But Elena is confirmed for Uncharted III. :yay:

This was always going to be a no brainer but we just can’t get enough of Uncharted 3 info.
A quick look at the IMDb profile of Emily Rose, the actress who plays Elena Fisher in the Uncharted franchise, reveals a listing for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Elena will therefore be returning along with Drake and Sully in part 3.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception releases on Playstation 3 later this year on November 11th.

Of course I already knew she was going to be in the game already but it is great to know for sure that she is back. Now we can only hope to see Chloe come back. I dont doubt it. The end of Uncharted II showed Chloe
leaving
Still there is a possibility she could be in Uncharted III. That is just me though.

Oh yes and the source http://thegamingliberty.com/index.php/2011/01/15/elena-confirmed-for-uncharted-3-drakes-deception/

Awesome! Sweet HD pics..seems Nathan Drake has aged a bit lol
About Elena hmmm Drake and Elena are a couple now.I wonder how Chloe would cope with that if she´s going to be in the game at all.. xD

That pic of Elena is so detailed..I cant believe the textures and awesomeness of this game. :griin: cant wait..

As for the MP I actually dont like it that much..hope UC3 multiplayer will be different and better for me.

Well that is Elena in Uncharted II xD. Yes I agree it is a very detailed pic of her. I believe that picture of Elena is when Drake and Co go into
Shambala at the end
I really can not wait to see what she looks like in Uncharted III. Hopefully she looks good like her UC I appearance. Not that she looked bad in UC II though. She always looks good. :ryan: Even with her new appearance, in multiplayer you will be able to play as all her past appearances which is a good thing if somehow she looks bad in UC III XD. Of course it will be the same for all the characters.

/revive.

Been a long time I did not update but new details have arrived!

Today Naughty Dog have let slip on a number of features that will be in Uncharted 3. They have firstly confirmed that Drake will have a number of different animation sets allowing him to react accordingly to his environment: this means he will, as seen in the burning building level, for example shield himself from the fires, but this expands to falling structures and other events.

Like in Uncharted 2 all money will transfer from singleplayer to multiplayer but it is currently rumoured that any unlocked weapons and items will also travel over. The money like last time will be used as the way to purchase weapons and upgrades.

Finally many players commented on the stealth part of Uncharted 2, either they liked it or thought it didn’t fit in to well with the rest of the title. This time around Naughty Dog have attempted to focus on making the stealth flow into the title easier, which means most likely a few of those museum missions.

Wow this is quite impressive to be honest. The part about using single player money to buy weapons and upgrades for Online multiplayer. This is a pretty cool addition. Now I see what they meant on Uncharted being a big multiplayer experience. Buying weapons does remind me of CoD but it looks like it will put a better feel into Uncharted III. I dont know how it will work but it is interesting to say the least. :hmmm:

Also another translation of the article in a different view..

evidently, new gameplay details have popped up in the PS3 Inside forum, and they're well worth discussion, even if they're not 100% accurate: firstly, there's the mention of "organic" levels and environments, and those amazing character animations will be "adapted to the environment." So in other words, Drake will move differently when sidling along a wall or moving through a rubble-strewn building. Secondly, it seems the stealth element will be quite prominent, as the chances of sneaking up behind opponents "will be improved drastically." Thirdly and lastly, it appears there will be great incentive to go online after playing through the campaign; with the money earned in Story mode, players can use that cash to purchase weapons and upgrades for online multiplayer action.

We've heard Naughty Dog talk about those upgraded animations, and we also know about their continued focus on character realism and authenticity. ...the bottom line is that Uncharted 3 should be jaw-dropping.

Seems nifty, it's small things like this that make the game better imo. There wasn't a massive change to the combat in UC2 but even the smallest of changes made it feel smoother so hopefully small actions like that will have the same effect.

I'm not a fan of having weapons transfer over from single player to multiplayer, unlockables was what UC2 lacked imo so you got to a point where you had nothing to play for. If anything, UC3 needs MORE unlockables.

It did fit into the title, it just seemed pretty random. The whole prison thing was explained just before the robbery and how bad it was so they weren't exactly going to run around letting everyone see them.

I didn't find the stealth bit random at all. :D

If you were to rob a museum, you wouldn't advertise it a month beforehand and arrive with an army. You'd dress in black, gather and memorise all of the required information regarding guard shifts and alarm systems, and rob the damn place at night. The Uncharted 2 museum sequence was very relevant to the plot, and fitting the gameplay to the robbery only made sense. It would have been insane for it to have been filled with gun battles and tanks.

The only other alternative would be to instigate a political riot in Turkey and then when the country is in anarchy rob the museum (darn Egyptian museum-looters :brooding:).

But no, the Istanbul museum robbing scene was fine, I felt. If anything they needed to be even more careful than they were. :D

As for UC3, I'd rather they not add random museum missions just to fit a stealth quota. It worked in UC2 because it worked into the story. If they do the same for UC3, then fine (and I can't imagine them not), but the story and mythology they follow should decide the locations and not vice versa. The gameplay shouldn't decide whether or not they go to a museum in UC3, in my opinion. People might get irritated if they take museum trips and rob museums every once in a while.

As for stealth in general, I quite like it as a break from the usual shootouts.

UC2 was pretty realistic till those beasts showed up :lew:
I wonder what new mystical creatures they will come up with..I hope it will also involve Egypt and some mythologies from the Pharaoh's and aliens and pyramids :ohoho:

She looks fierce.

Hmm, what's the significance of Nate's ring...? :hmmm:

And that other villain guy looks like Jason Statham. :lew:

Dunno if it's been posted but I can't see a thing with all of these huge broken images in posts

But anyway

Oh is that so? Nah it hasnt been posted but I can see the images just fine. Also may you be nice and post the original source, you know like the news article that goes with that trailer if there is one? Great to have a female villian... She fucking scares me though

May I be nice :hmph: Check the 'tude on you :hmph:

I'm subscribed to NaughtyDog's channel on YouTube. :lew: That's where I got it from.

Well It is always nice to have an article to know who she is. You can be nice you know . Ah right as if I didnt know that :ahmed: That isnt attitude, I just want to see if you would post the article but looks like Ill have to get it myself :hmph:!

Also I noticed this is your first post in this thread :mokken:

Well if you clicked the video it says her name in the title. :hmph: Katherine Marlowe, the antagonist of Uncharted 3. :hmph:

Yeah, it is. I didn't really have much to say about it earlier because there wasn't that much out but now I can say I'm pretty excited for its release. :hmmm:

Lol at the British thug stereotypes led by a well-spoken rich English female villain. :wacky: Uncharted does seem to work well with such things though, as a sort of mock of the genre.

So it looks as if the British are to be the main villains, and this new female villain has history with both Drake and Sully. I hope to see more soon.

Ah yes I did read that.. Still I prefer an article :jtc: Oh and last time I checked you were the craziest Uncharted girl ever and I thought you would reply right away :lew:. I was excited long ago when I heard about the story to be honest lol.

Also since you dont want to be nice :hmph:!

Step aside Gabriel. Go back to bed Lazarevic. It's time for a new villain to shine in what is bound to be one of 2011's biggest and most exciting games; Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. We know where Drake is going, and we know some of the story themes that will played with, but what about the villain? Naughty Dog has kept mum on the subject, up until now that is. Thanks to a video posted on revision3, we now know who Drake's arch nemesis will be in this third outing. Readers wishing to stay on a media blackout would be best to avoid this report.

According to the video posted, the main antagonist for Uncharted 3 will take a step away from the testosterone fueled manly men in favour of an older Helen Mirren look alike, as can be seen in the picture below. Sadly, this is all we know, though fans are bound to start thinking of possible connections between this character and the already established franchise cast.

It is worth nothing that the Uncharted series has often made an attempt to have their in-game characters modeled to somewhat resemble their real world voice actors. With this character looking like a splitting image of Helen Mirren, could it mean the skilled actress is lending her talents to Drake's Deception? I guess we'll find out in the near future.

Wow the details in that cutscene were awesome..I could see every wrinkle on that shrews face..

That ring belonged to sir Francis Drake didnt it? :hmmm:
He did look like statham...

You cocky little shit made me lolz........

So, like all good British villains, they come with a nice upper-class accent. That was pretty much what I imagined the moment I saw her name and realised that Nate and Sully are in Britain. I'm loving her dialogue already with "cocky little shit"; she's definitely the sort of person I would love to hate. Plus if she is based off Helen Mirren, I hate her - so that's a good bonus. :monocle:
