Got an idea for a URPG? Post it up in here! I'll keep track of the list here

Frankly...I was interested in trying a Phantom of the Opera URPG. But that's just me.

This one could be ridiculous, but how about an URPG inspired by video game called Fable the Lost Chapters
 
Well I heard its for Xbox and PC, and yes if you eat Crunchy Chicks you get evil points XD
 
Maybe a Dragonlance one. I've always enjoyed those books. they sort of got me into roleplaying
 
Time to abuse this old sticky!

Some ideas for unoriginal RPs I'd like to RP in :

FFVIII - Balamb Garden vs. Galbadia...the story done right!

FFVII - Before Sephiroth goes crazy, just life in midgar etc.

FFIX - Tetra Master tournament in Treno! Seriously, we could have a band of hunters to hunt for cards, then the players to play them. Card pirates and airships galore!

FFT - No kidding here, how cool would it be to RP the war of the lion?

Kendra said she was going to be starting a Death Note RP.

We need more ideas up in here, and I'm curious to find out which ideas the RPers would like to RP!
 
God, I wish we had all of those. I'd be a happy happy lady. ;) I'd be in RP heaven. XD Especially Death Note and VII. Lovely. Those would be fantastic.
 
Well Kendra is going to have a Death Note RP coming soon, and I wanted to start working on an FF. I'm leaning towards 8 but I'll look into working on a 7 RP if there's enough interest. Any ideas would be more than welcome.

Here's a few thought we've had on an 8 RP : SeeD and Junior SeeD, Warring Gardens, SeeD missions (that aren't gay), actual concentration on the other characters in the story (lets face it Xu was a cool character that got completely washed over, Nida coulda been nifty but they gave him no air time...wow thats a flying school pun!) GF's, MONSTERS THAT DO DAMAGE!

For a 7 RP : ShinRa Co., Soldier, The turks, missions, Cetra mayhem etc. Fun stuff

That's all I got, I blame work for my lack of braincells right now.
 
well i finally saw this thread and i have a couple ideas as well. i'm going to start with chocobo racing URPG. that, and a summoner's pilgrimage of FFX, with only a few summoners (2 or 3) and there guardians. that's all i have at the moment, but i'll let you know when i get more.
 
Perhaps we could possibly have a RP of before the events of FF7? NOt like Crisis Core but perhaps something like the war in Wutai? Or perhaps we can have one where a new SOLDIER has been formed but instead of working for a corrupt company like Shinra maybe work alongside the WRO to bring total peace to the world? To stop any new threats from becoming whole?

Also I have never seen many FF9 RPs, perhaps we could have one where Kuja has arisen once more and once again wishes to destroy Gaia but Zidane and co. have all disappeared and the world now relies on a new band of heroes to come forth?
 
I like the idea of a Pre-FF7 RP. Just so it's known, I plan on creating some FF-related URPGS, where the RPers get to play the actual characters from the game.

I'm originally an AOL RPer, and the way we got people to play existing characters, was to have 'casting calls.' RPers demonstrated their skills for a character, and the best ones, were chosen to be the players. Of course, the RPs would still allow original characters, but I would likely hold auditions in order to get the most capable RPers to play the canon roles.

The way I'd likely do it is like this: Allow people to send their sign-ups privately, for their desired character, as well as a second-choice character, and a possible original character if they do not get the roles. The main reason why I feel auditions are important, is that the canon characters would likely be the RPers leading the RP, so it would make sense for them to be the most capable.

neat idea there Contra. i already am planning to make this RP idea, however i decided to let people know about it here. If you have heard of the game called Legend of Mana, then you will know what RP i'm planning to do. if not, search for the legend of mana thread in PS games.
 
Me and Damon (Jules Winnfield) are planning to start a Tales of Symphonia RP eventually.

(Warning, this paragraph onwards contains spoilers! That being said, I advise anyone who hasn't at least got to the near end of the game not to join, for spoilers will be present throughout the RP, and you will have to know these things to join.)

It will be set before Lloyd and his group. It'll be about a Chosen and his/her group who found out about the secrets Cruxis has been hiding, but BIG difference being, this group fails to do anything to stop Cruxis...instead every member of the group will meet an untimely end (Yes, that means everyone that choses to be good must die, :( But at least it'll give the story good dramatic effect)

Of course, there has to be limits to power, try not to exceed Lloyd and the group, because if anything, this group will be weaker then that of Lloyd's.

Haven't seen this thread before. >_>; *don't mind me*

A friend of mine has been bugging me to do this, ever since I used Kingdom Hearts as an example for such an RP. It's going to be a video game inspired. What I'll be using this time is Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3.

That RP sounds quite interesting Vegnaya, I'm in the process of getting ideas for an MGS RP set after the events of MGS4, as well as the solo sneakers there are characters supporting over codec and maybe openings for villains etc too.
 
Well, I have been playing Persona 3, so I'd join, though I have not got very far on it, and it is quite a long game, so completing it may take a while.

But if you do make one, and I've completed the game or got quite far, then I'd join!
 
Ok, just finished 'The World Ends With You' and I totally think that should be on the list of RPs we need to do. The in depth story and interesting buddy system would make it a phenomenal idea for RPing.

Anyone interested?
