Recently downloaded Hitman: Absolution. I'm currently playing it on the lowest of the professional modes.

It's been a while since I've played any of the Hitman games. I remember why I love them though. It was their balance of plots and gameplay that did it for me. Besides, Agent 47 just simply kicks ass.

Switching between random PS3 games (Dark Souls and Tales of Xillia) and Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I'm waiting for KH 1.5 and GTA V so until then I'm pretty much trophy hunting and biding my time with these games.

I think I'm going to finish Pokemon Black 2 while I wait for FFXIV to launch. I also have Challenge Modes in WoW tonight and a fucking boatload of Naruto episodes to watch.

gettin ready to no life it for the week :P

I'm focusing on FFX mainly. I just completed the Macalania Temple and I'm being chased by guados. And I used BOTH of the Black Magic spheres on Yuna because everyone else's magic isn't that good :P

Also, I love using Rikku and Tidus! :)

Switched from Hitman to Shining Force II. A legendary rpg.

The first game was also great, but the second game adds much more depth to both its story and gameplay.

Finally platted Tales of Xillia - I got bored, so I skipped the cutscenes for Milla's story; I'll watch them when I replay the game before the sequel comes out - so I've moved onto Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, a game I've been meaning to pick up since its release but haven't really had the motivation to do so. Well, there are two weeks between now and Kingdom Hearts 1.5HD (contrary to popular belief, I have no opinion on Kingdom Hearts...asides 358/2, which was shit) so that gives me ample time to play it. I love the voice acting. Xenoblade has better voices, of course, but I'll take what I'm given.

Still at the same point I was at when last I posted regarding Disgaea 3. I'm not playing it much, to be honest. I find my hands straying to my 3DS and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, which I've had since April and haven't played hardly at all, despite looking forward to it for the longest time.

Dragon Age Origins, which is absolutely awesome! :gasp: I have had the game for years, but for some reason, was put off a few minutes into it. :hmmm: I was probably distracted by work or another game. :/

Anyway, Peter speaks highly of it, so I decided to give it another go. I am sorry I didn't start playing it earlier this summer! :lew: You can certainly tell it's made by the people who made Knights of the Old Republic - the similarities even include Morrigan/Kreia and Alistair/Atton - but the gameplay is still refreshing! (I haven't played many RPGs of this type)

Currently going through Xenogears again.... and this time, I'm keeping a journal. It's turning out to be a long journal, and I've only just reached Kislev. I'm dreading the file size for the journal when it's finished....

Also, I'm finding quite a few things that don't make any sense.... and I'm not even talking story wise. I mean things in the story that totally contradict and such. I'm gonna post all those things on here once I'm finished.

Playing through The Last of Us, purely to spite that pesky Deku

I'm finding it pretty good, albeit the gunplay is a tad repetitive at times; but that's to be expected with Naughty Dog really. Storys nothing special yet but i'm only at the halfway point depending on who I ask. It's good.

Gotten a bit bored with Ni No Kuni, so I've started playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on the side. Need to play something that isn't an RPG, and with Mirror of Fate HD coming out at the end of next month, I figured I'd play through and plat this again...plus I've had the DLC since Christmas two years ago and still not played it yet. Woops.

Disgaea 3 has gotten more interesting. I've managed to get 32 Statisticians - enough for a set of full grinding equipment - and a Trapezohedron from Beryl's side story, which I levelled up to 200 last night, with 3 move bills passed. Now I just need 8 Level 19998 Sprinter Innocents to go on it, plus...say, thirty copies of it, to go around a team of tier 6 Masked Heroes for Reverse Pirating, Attack Modes, etc. Lots of painful duping in the Class World to be done, then...although I need to go into the Class World of all the Masked Heroes a few times to boost movement and throwing range for Reverse Pirating. Three Illegal Tickets shy of the Land of Carnage, but I need to go into the Item World to combine Innocents anyway (and level up a sword for Mao to use) so I'll shoot for those whilst I'm doing that. Multitasking makes this game more bearable...I also have characters to recruit and the new story mode to play when I need a break. Which I most certainly will, because the PPS and Class World both hate me when it comes to item duping...

I'm playing a few games right now:

Tales of Xillia - I'm on chapter 3 now and playing through a few snowy areas. The game has actually gotten a tiny bit harder lately boss-wise, but it's still too easy. Not that I mind really. It's a grand JRPG that's worth a play I reckon. I'm still waiting for a Tales game that's as good as Symphonia though.

Apollo Justice - Gooood. AA3 bored me a bit, but this one's back to the great standards. I'm gonna have to carry on with case 2 sometime today ha :lew:.

Rayman Legends - A bit of an improvement over Origins, with the rock music levels and stuff being my personal favourite parts. There are even levels from Origins if you fancy playing those! 'cause of this, I'd say there's not all that much point even buying Origins if you're just gonna buy Legends anyway. Lots of collecting stuff in and outside of the levels too. Loving it :monocle:.

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros - I've always loved the Mario and Luigi RPGs and this one doesn't disappoint. The 1st game is still my favourite, but I can't quite decide if that's because of nostalgia or because it's simply the best one of the lot.

Along with playing Final Fantasy XIII, Re-playing The Last of Us, Blops sessions and a little FIFA...

I have decided to restart Assassin's Creed II! Arguably the best of the franchise(At least it is plot wise, in my opinion) I decided to take it primarily because it's something I haven't played since earlier in the year-when I finished Revelations.

Plus, I generally like games like ACII... And my eldest brother still has my GTA IV so I can't warm up or V yet. :sad3:

I've got a few going as well:

Tales of Xillia - like Sprout said, it's great JRPG that's a bit on the easy side. Feels like a PS2 game though, not PS3. It's not a bad thing at all to me, but anyone who really cares about graphics will probably be disappointed most of the time. There are a few really beautiful areas though, just the same.

Fire Emblem: Awakening - Just got my 3DS last night, and this was my first game for it. I've actually never played a Fire Emblem game before, but I liked FFT so I thought I'd give this one a go. I'm only an hour or so in, but I can already tell this is a must-have game for the platform. Great graphics, great gameplay, great characters.

Avabel Online: Don't scoff at the fact that this is an Android/iOS game, it's a legit MMORPG. A grind-heavy MMORPG without much of a story, but still a legit MMORPG. Besides, it's still in its early stages of development, so don't judge it too hard. For what's there, this is a pretty amazingly deep game by mobile standards...and I'm pretty sure the developers are taking cues from Sword Art Online, which is a good thing IMO.

Star Ocean The Last Hope - I loved Til The End Of Time, one of my all time favourite RPGs so i picked this up pretty cheap and decided to give it a go and it's nothing special so far but it's fairly decent and enough to keep me interested, the Characters are a bit dull and dialogue is a bit cringey at times but i am enjoying the overall story and the battle mode really easy to get use to as well. spent a good 4/5 hours tonight on it and pretty impressed so far.

Mainly just Football Manager 2013 and Civ V. I recently finished The Last of Us and i'm on the final XCOM:EU mission so I need to get that beaten before the new DLC drops! I'm trying to convince myself I wont get GTA V but I imagine it's inevitable.

OK, so I started playing Kingdom Hearts the other day. The final mix one, or something. I'm reminded now of why I was so hesitant to pick it up - the voice acting is atrocious, it has perhaps the most uncooperative camera and jump mechanic I've experienced in recent years, the characters look ridiculous (I'm sorry, but the massive feet just really bug me) and I've already been sent on two utterly mundane fetch quests. This is not a good start. I'll bear with it, but is this REALLY what all the fuss was about? This had better be hiding something incredible, or I'm going to be pissed off.

Ni No Kuni lies abandoned and forgotten, and Castlevania is headed that way. I just don't have time to play all these games at once...yet, anyway.

In Disgaea 3 related news, I finally managed to do Class World Command Attack in under 100 commands - I spent literally all day trying to do this earlier this week - and have since moved on to Survival...ugh, it's so BORING. I need to get to at least Floor 150, and I'm currently at floor 111...I have no concept of how long it's taken me; its such a monotonous grind that I've lost all perception. Still, once I've done that, it'll be time to focus on the Reverse Pirate trophies, then getting some decent equipment for Tyrant Baal...so very close now. I WILL plat this before the 27th, so help me.

Final Fantasy All The Bravest.

The best Final Fantasy game you can get for mobile devices - and dare I say, the best Final Fantasy game there is out there - is even better now because it's recently made free to play! I'll probably go so far as to say that this is my game of the generation because it's so good. :melody:

Do you know what I love about this game? It's the fact that it has the depth of a puddle. Why do I need to waste my time and energy on something as banal as tactical thinking and deep gameplay when I can just play the game by rubbing my finger along the right hand side of my iPad screen as a whole crowd of colourful Final Fantasy character sprites all chaotically unleash their attacks? And that makes it fun, because everyone enjoys shutting off their brain completely now and then. In my case, I just generally like to keep my brain switched off all the time. I can simply sit back and give my right hand some enjoyable exercise while looking slightly like a plonker for sitting there furiously rubbing at something on my lap.

I love how the game has absolutely no story to it whatsoever, because that would be too complicated and unnecessary for the target audience of little children and nostalgic idiots like me. Who needs story in a Final Fantasy game anyway? All it has are some classic 8 and 16-bit Final Fantasy villain pictures spouting some regurgitated lines from their original games that you can totally ignore, before you furiously start rubbing these monsters to death with your 32 strongmen of mages, samurais and monks!

What I love the most are the in-app purchases! I have no idea why I haven't yet spent a single penny on any of the random premium FF characters yet, but since I'm the exact sort of consumer that Square-Enix is after, I totally should! I'm going to collect every single character now, which will probably set me back for like £25, excluding the extra Midgar, Zanarkand and Archylte Steppe IAPs! I have no control over my spending whatsoever, so I don't care. I just want to throw more and more money at darling uncle Square-Enix.

Oh, Square. May your mobile game revolution continue <3

New PSN account (again) so new games. The completionist/trophy whore in me hates seeing unfinished games in my profile, and since I've started a few games where getting 100% is going to prove to be somewhat difficult (Star Ocean: The Last Hope and, I've discovered, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, due to the hellish DLC trials which make the timed trials in the main game look like a joke...to name but two) I've made a new profile for the sixth or seventh time. Well, at least it gives me an excuse to replay my games :yay:

Anyways. Currently playing Atelier Ayesha and LEGO Lord of the Rings. I've just started both, so I'm not very far. I would have started with Rorona, but I expect New Atelier Rorona to get localized (plus the original is dated as hell now) and with Escha and Logy announced officially for next year (FUCK YEAH) and a crapton of games coming out before the end of this year that I want (too many to list) I may not get another chance to play Ayesha for a while. Just blitzed through the Glass Factory to get the Nio event; rushing the story to leave plenty of time for character events. I want a single playthrough platinum. As for LEGO LOTR...eh. I've just formed the Fellowship. It's fun enough, but not as funny as previous games due to the voice-overs, which are definitely out of place. Star Wars was better...but then, the original Star Wars movies were better than the LOTR films, so that isn't too surprising.

I'm hovering over Mugen Souls. Not sure if I want to put 300+ hours into it. But I should give it a second chance...

Ok, I have a bit of a list going on right now. I'll just chuck in the ones I finished today too:

- Apollo Justice - Finished this today, and it turned out a little bit disappointing. Still better than PW3 though. It just...had generic music and a lot of the cast were a bit forgettable. The murders were pretty well thought out though :).

- Rain - Finished this today too. Amaaazing game! Probably my favourite game of this gen. It may not have the blockbuster graphics or the amazing acting (heck it doesn't have any acting) but it does have simple emotion and indie-ness. This coming from the person who said the same about Flower though...I'm sure this won't be a popular decision :hmmm:.

- Lunar: Silver Star Harmony - A sehr noice standard JRPG with a bit of a twist in the battle system. Loving it so far...though I may be a bit over-leveled. The soundtrack, the characters, the battles, the graphics...perfection so far (3ish hours in).

- Threads of Fate - Very basic action RPG from Square. Nothing brilliant, but pretty fun to pass the time. You have a choice of two characters and stories so it may be a long time before this is completely finished :lew:.

- Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (PS3) - Not as good as I remember. I used to love it for GBA, but everything has been slowed right down for the PS2/3 version. Still, looking forward to seeing more of Namine, who I swear never got enough screen time :sad2:.

- Wind Waker: HD - A vast improvement over the original, both graphically and...in general. I'm loving that the sail is now an automatic item rather than it using an inventory slot. I also like using the Wii U tablet (though it's entirely optional). You can even play the game entirely on the tablet if you need to plug something else in instead of the TV. Amazing times with an already amazing game. I hear there's a faster sail somewhere too, where you don't even have to change the direction of the wind or anything. Can't wait to play more! I'm only about to head off for Dragon Roost now, you see, though I did spend forever on Windfall :gasp:.

And I think that's it! Good times, gaming wise :)
