Danganronpa- My word, this game is awesome!!! Every time a death rolls around I get goosebumps. I love the story and it's just so engrossing I can't stop playing!

Super Robot Wars Z2 and I'm also going to start playing Original Generations Gaiden. Trying to get back into my super robot wars flow.

If you guys have not played this game, please do. I'm currently doing/testing my own sort of "Hard Mode" for this game. This is also the game where my username-sake is from. To those who have played it, the hard mode consists of:

2 Longevity Berries Max (Meaning your HP stays at either 150, 175, or 200.)
You're only allowed to collect the Bincho Fields of the castle members that you need to progress in the story.
No Techniques
No S-Revive either, other items are allowed though.
And you have to do this run as fast as you can, meaning it's also a speed run
:ken:

I'm trying to plat Mass Effect right now...just need the Biotic power usage, Sniper Rifle kills and Level 60 trophies and I'll have it. Will probably take me a couple of hours or so; my Soldier is Level 58 and I need to gain a couple of levels as an Adept to unlock Lift so I can spam it...getting there. Then I can focus on the games I got for my birthday :yay:

Handheld-wise, I'm chugging away with Dragon's Crown - grinding my Amazon up to 99 and filling out sidequests at the moment - and Pokemon Leaf Green...I got bored of dex-filling in X and got myself a GBA Micro, giving me an excuse to play this again. Current team is Wartortle, Primeape, Onix and Voltorb...I've never used any of them before. Going to round out my team with Vulpix and Venonat eventually. Three badges, Rock Tunnel. Let's do this shit.

Demon's Souls. What a pain. I'm stuck, in Boletaria I can't get past the freakin dragon on a stairway, in Latria I can't defeat the Maneaters, in the Storm Shrine I can't get past the blind boss and in the Valley of Defilement I can't get anywhere in the damn swamp... Those giant guys always screw me!

Starcraft. Decided to try it and it's quite cool!

I am playing Tales of Xillia again but on Milla's side. So far, it seems that most of the scenes are pretty much the same as in Jude's story. There was a major difference in a few parts of chapter 1 though. I am now on chapter 2. I just beat Hammerzaam and I did not even die once. I am even playing on Unknown and have inherited the devil weapons and some other stuff such as my shop levels. I am surprised how much sub evens I missed some subevents in Jude's story so I am wrapping those up as well. I probably will plat the game by the end of it. I am missing only a few trophies.

I am pretty much playing it again to see what happens in some parts from Milla's point of view and to platinum it. All to get ready for Xillia 2 and to have a full understanding of the first game.

Overall I have died twice so far. Once because of the ai and once because of area of effect attacks.

Bioshock Infinite: I love the setting in this game and all of the visuals, and all the shooting people, of course. I've decided to put this one on hold until it's available for free through PSN+ sometime this month.

Rayman Legends: Fun game. It's just as fun as Rayman Origins, and I loved that game. I've mainly only played through the first set of levels, but I feel like they made it a little easier than Origins.

Remember Me: I only started playing this one yesterday. I really like this game so far. I love the whole cyberpunk feel to it, and the music. I've heard some bad things about this game, like how the combat sucks. I don't think I can make a reasonable judgement about that this early in the game, but I do have a couple of things to say about it. I can see how they're trying to add some strategy to the beat-em-up portions of this game with the Pressens or whatever they're called. The only problem I have with it is that I only have two combos at the moment: Square x Square x Square and Square x Triangle x Square x Triangle x Square. These combos can have slightly different effects depending on which pressens you use, but they're still the same button presses. I just hope I can get a few more combos in there.

I guess I shouldn't be too hard on the combat. I think I'm just comparing it to games like Devil May Cry that have a wide variety of combos at your disposal, but if I compare it to the Batman Arkham series, they're pretty similar, and I don't remember ever complaining about that fighting system. In those games, you just press Square a bunch of times and then Triangle to counter. I guess you could argue that elements other than combat in the Arkham series are more interesting than those elements in Remember Me. The rest of Remember Me mostly consists of platforming akin to games like the new Tomb Raider or Mirror's Edge or Uncharted 3. However, platforming in those games was more interesting. So far, jumping around buildings in Remember Me has been pretty easy. There are arrows pointing to every ledge you need to go to, also. I'd prefer if they used more visual cues like in Mirror's Edge where everything you could grab on to or jump off of was colored red. Helpful, but less obvious.

Still looking forward to playing more of the game, though.

Despite the abundance of new games I have, I'm currently playing The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for the second time. Last time was a 100% completion run, which I managed after several hours of frustration with the mini-games of all things (seriously, fuck the Squid Challenge) and this time it's a three heart Hero Mode speed run...because my new PS3 isn't here yet, and I can finish this game in a matter of hours if I feel like it. I just beat the Helmaroc King, and have died a total of four times thus far - once against Gohdan because I was careless (ran out of arrows then got swept off the edge when I tried to make a run for the drop), once against the Darknut mini-boss because I tried to get clever and kill him with his own sword (he punched me in the face for it) and twice in the Forsaken Fortress...I got swarmed by miniblins. Both times. In the same place. Which in hindsight is hilarious. It wasn't at the time.

Handheld wise, I'm on my Nightmare run of YS Celceta. Should really pick up Sorcery Saga again...maybe afterwards.

My main project right now is Bravely Default: Flying with the Faries. I am currently playing through chapter 3 right now, storywise it rather weak, until the end of chapter 2. It battle system is where the game truly shines, the job system is amazing, just unlocked Red Mage, and it sexy, and is a strong class. The music is top notch as well, it really nice to see a Square Enix RPG that soooo good, or Any JRPG for that matter, consiering the JRPG genre really lacking good games right now.

After that, my next task will be finishing off Tales of Xillia, I like the game, and the characters, the story just too weak right now :/

Ok, I'm playing a few different games right now:

Shadow Hearts 2 - This is my main game at the moment and is reeeeally good. Gepetto has to be one of my all time favourite video game characters, along with the fact that you can have a dog as a party member (Like Red I guess...but this one can't talk and is cuter :mokken:). The battle system has quite a bit of depth for a traditional turn-based thingy. The music is pretty great. I particularly like the main town music:

It's not quite as dark as the first Shadow Hearts (no excorcisms within the first 10 hours) but maybe that'll come later.

Pikmin 3 - Great! I've only played 1-2 hours but it's the best of the series so far. The people have more personality and there's more story this time. That first boss too...amazing. We'll just say the rock pikmin are a welcome addition. The use of the tablet is great too; it enhances the story parts and shows a map constantly (or some other things if you'd prefer to see those). You can also use it instead of playing the game on the TV if you like (like a few other Wii U games).

Ocarina of Time - Just reached Jabu Jabu and have to say that it's going really well. Enjoying it as much as always.

Crystal Chronicles - About to finish the 3rd year and have to say that it's much shorter than I remember. Only another...6ish dungeons left? 'course that last dungeon is a bloody nightmare so I'll be spending a couple of years stat grinding. Still, enjoying it. Just dreading the last dungeon is all :wacky:.

That's about it right now, though I'm slowly making my way through Dead Space 3 @vircon . Not as good as the first two DS games...it's just corridor after elevator after corridor and isn't scary in the slightest. Still, it's alright on co-op with someone etc.

Currently playing Grandia for PS1, as well as Half Life 2, and Saints Row 3. I have many more in the backlog but gotta clear some out too. Also I need to force myself past disc 2 of Xenogears (I'm at that point) but I can't do it yet.

I've been bouncing around between several different games.

Robocraft is (currently) a Free-to-Play game. You recall the Gummi Ship system from the first Kingdom Hearts? Take the Gummi Ships, add the ability to use wheels, and throw them into multiplayer capture-the-flag battles on barren planets. The game itself is currently in Beta, so it's constantly changing.

On the upside, Platoons were added recently. Meaning you can have a team of up to three people roaming around, blowing up other robots, racing for the enemy base...

As far as Steam goes (Steam ID: Shenorai) ...

When it was on sale, I picked up Dungeon Defenders. It's actually a fun take on your typical Tower Defense games. Not only can you place various towers to keep the creeps at bay, but there are different characters that you can control, each with their own weaponry/tower styles.

I also snagged RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum Edition when it was on sale. Because I'm a sucker for building things. And thanks to the included expansion packs, this was the closest I could find to an updated Zoo Tycoon.

Of course, there's also the occasional Sims 3, but hey.

I'm currently playing the FFX X-2 HD remake on the PS3, and I just arrived in the Calm Lands. I wanna try and do the side stuff here before I move on with the story. So yeah we'll see how this goes -.-

At the moment I'm playing through Final Fantasy X (HD) and Final Fantasy VIII. Cool games to alternate between, going from (at where I am at each game) Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Auron, Kimahri and Lulu to Squall, Quistis, Zell, Selphie, Rinoa and Irivine.

I haven't been able to play very much lately (the seekness!) but here we go:

Hotline Miami (PS3) - I played through this not too long ago and found it pretty...horrible lmao. I get that it's supposed to all represent drugs, gang wars etc, but the music grates and the colours are just too much for me noggin' :gonk:. The millions of deaths are usually caused by little glitches (not being able to kill an enemy while standing in certain doorways etc). It was still pretty addictive though...even with all that :lew:.

Professor Layton: Miracle Mask - I think I'm probably about half way through and it's reeeeally good. I haven't enjoyed a Layton this much since the very first (Curious Village). Here's an example of why I love the soundtrack:

Some nice changes to the puzzles too (they're more interactive a lot of the time). I think I can see why they finished the series though...it seems like they've run out of puzzle variety.

Mercenary Kings - Really fun on co-op, especially since it's online. I imagine it'd be a bit dull on your own though...repetitive maps and missions. Still, who can complain when it's free?

Gex - Really...a million times worse than I remember lmao. The dialogue's pretty grand though :wacky:. The "save" system is damn awful. That's my main problem with the game. Passwords???

Sly: Thieves In Time - It's good, but all the Sly games are pretty much the same. I guess I've just gotten bored of it all by this 4th game. Still good if it's your first or second Sly possibly :).

And that's about it :).

Greeny's Let's Play inspired me to pick up Wild ARMs on the PSN. That's my Spring Break game, and it'll probably be my early part of the summer game. Then Wild ARMs 2 after that.

Yay! :lew:. I personally think that WA2 is a fair bit worse than the first, but meh. It's still alright. Progress report on WA1 as you go along sir! :sir:

Just got out of the Tripillar, on my way to Rosetta Town. Frickin' Mage Fox was annoying. He kept doing 1100 damage with Valkyrie to Rudy for like... 4 turns in a row.

I took a break from Final Fantasy V and started playing Skyrim for the first time.....I might have trouble getting back into Final Fantasy for a while...

I've been trying to go through I-VI and made it to V but still have VI. I'm wanting to go and play VII-X still again as I won't play X HD Remaster until then. Between work and play it might not happen for a while.

Resident Evil 4, Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, Tales of Symphonia

I'm doing my second runthrough of RE4 on PS3, it's going a LOT quicker with the Chicago Typewriter :monster:

I was doing the Tower of Yggdrasil in Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, but then I got distracted by Infamous: Second Son, and one I platinumed that, I didn't really feel like going back to ROA :hmmm: I'll get back to it eventually.

I can't seem to get into the HD remaster of Tales of Symphonia, which is really upsetting me, because ToS is my favorite game ever. >_<
